ServiceMaster Restore is very professional. They did everything quickly and let us know what was going on so we really didn’t have any problem with them. We had a water damage in the upstairs bedroom, bathroom, downstairs study and the steps. They were here for three to four weeks, also doing the fans that took a while and digging the affected to get everything dried out. Scheduling went through our insurance. Techs were very friendly and respectful of our house, so we were happy with them. Considering how devastating it was to us and the house, and considering what we were going through, they did everything that they could have done and we were happy with it.
I would never use ServiceMaster Colorado Springs again. They didn't do a good job to begin with. They were snotty and they lied to my tenant saying that they told me that she was without hot water and they didn't. They just left me a message saying that they had to talk to me about a few things. And by the time I got home from work it was 7:30 in the evening and I wasn't going to be calling them back because it didn't sound urgent.
They didn't complete the job so I fired them. And I called the ServiceMaster in Colorado Springs because I have worked with them before. I have a particular person that I work with and he's really good. In fact he's going to have to be coming back out again. I'm just very comfortable with them. Anybody that they have ever sent over has been great. They communicate well and they do what they're supposed to do to get in and out.
We had a flood in our basement and our insurance company scheduled ServiceMaster and they contacted me directly to schedule a time to come out. They were clear on communication, and they were totally flexible around my schedule. They got someone out the same night that I was talking to the rep. I appreciate that they were able to get there in a quick manner. But it would be helpful if they would send a text message saying they're on their way. The people that came to our house was great. They were very friendly and professional. They were dressed well and performed their work in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace. They did more cleaning than I expected them to do. ServiceMaster did an excellent job and we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
My insurance told me to call ServiceMaster Restore when I had a leak, and they came immediately. They assessed the situation, came back that same day and they did the mold mediation. They were in and out in two hours and were very professional. The reps I dealt with were polite and excellent as well. The techs were professional and they were clean too. I'm very satisfied.
Miguel came up for the demolition and he was great. He explained most things and he was here eighteen hours one day. But, about eight days later, we had the main floor flooded, and we just bought the house. So our insurance company contracted ServiceMaster. ServiceMaster in Baltimore was the one who did the demolition and ServiceMaster by Singer was the one who did the reconstruction. He then came back for an entire day with one other guy, and he had everything done. So they did all of those and actually got rid of all our damaged personal items as well.
For the reconstruction, we had another guy for like a month and then no one showed up for a month anymore. I finally called and they did not tell me obviously what happened but I gather that he quit and didn't really update anymore on the status of things, but they were good. They sent out Dustin the next day and he was also great. They finished the work pretty quickly after that and he really helped us with a lot of the things that we really didn't understand about homes in general. So, they were great. The house looks great now and I am really satisfied. They had to repaint our basement, where they did a way better job than we did the first time. They redid the floors too. We didn't have a lot of time to pick things out because we both travel up for work and Dustin helped us pick stuff out. The finish product looks really good. We worked with the designer at Atlas stone company. And then Dustin just called them direct and had everything ordered. We would recommend them.
I'm very satisfied with Service Master. They’ve answered all of our questions and have fixed everything that we’ve asked them to fix so far. We recently had a water leak behind the shower wall at the shower valve and it soaked the carpet, laundry area and bathroom. The insurance company called ServiceMaster and they scheduled it. It’s still in progress but everything’s been going great. They put in a new carpet and a new vinyl flooring already. They also got the shower base in there. We’re just waiting for the material for the shower walls and then they’ll put that in, and then do the baseboard, and the shower door. They’ve been very helpful in the whole process. I also worked with them at a previous job. Service Master Restore is a good company, very professional, outstanding kind of work.
We had a water tank blow a hole downstairs, and a lot of stuff got wet and walls had to be replaced. ServiceMaster had to come in with dryers and they were very good. They had several different people coming and going, and I didn’t have a problem with any of them.
A water pipe broke in my home and at the time, I've gone out of town and went to Chicago. I left on a Friday afternoon at around 11:00-12:00 o'clock then my son checked back on Sunday, roughly around 7:00-7:30, and said that the house was flooding. So, I talked him through on how to shut off the water valves. The unfortunate thing was, the carpet was all wet upstairs and the flood soaked down through the basement and into everything downstairs.
I've seen ServiceMaster Restore's name before but I never had the opportunity to have them do work for me. I called them and they responded right back. Then they showed up the following day to see what was going on and what was going be involved. I worked with four people and they were all really good. They were very timely and very professional. They pulled out the carpets and ended up having to pull the hardwood floor, too, because it was wet and buckled. They also had the industrial fans running for 24/7 for about a week and a half or so and we got the front and upstairs living area dried out. But they still need to have the abatement team do the stuff downstairs because since the drywall got wet, it's got to be replaced as well as the ceilings in the basement. It's a major ordeal.
I worked with Alex and he initially said that they're going to have to pull the drywall from the base up about three feet. But the guy that came out earlier this week and removed the flooring to the sub flooring in the kitchen said that everything was dried out. So I don't know if there’s still a need to remove the drywall, and if so, I'd have to get a hold of my insurance and let them know where we’re standing. I also called ServiceMaster about it and I'm still waiting on a callback from them.
I also got a pod from another restoration company because ServiceMaster didn't do that anymore. But the restoration company that I got was less than cooperative. They were supposed to come in the morning before noon but they didn't show up. I had four ServiceMaster people there and we were somewhat waiting. They packed all my things up inside the house in boxes and they took them outside because we were waiting for this part that was supposed to be delivered. I got a hold of the restoration company and their rep said they would be there at 2:00 o’clock. I told them that the ServiceMaster guys took the stuff outside and were waiting on them but he was pretty much unapologetic and unhelpful at that point. The ServiceMaster guys were amazing though. Once the pod showed up, it took them 15-20 minutes to move everything out into it and be done.
This week, ServiceMaster contracted out to Furniture Magic to pull the kitchen counter tops because they had to get the purple flooring in the kitchen. But underneath that was the linoleum which was glued down and they thought that that might have asbestos. It turned out that it doesn't so everything's okay. From day one, ServiceMaster's reps have been excellent and I appreciate them. I also highly recommend them to anybody. When you run in to a situation like that, it can be very overwhelming and you don’t know who to get or contact and what steps to follow. ServiceMaster made the whole process so much better and reasonable. They still have to come back once the abatement team finishes up downstairs but so far, it’s been a great experience.
I had a flooded basement, about three inches of water that it seemed like a water pond. ServiceMaster Restore tore out my floorings, dried all my contents and then they actually repaired it as well and put in ceramic tile in there. That took three weeks to do. My insurance agent was the one who told me to call them, and the people I dealt with from ServiceMaster were good. They are always nice, polite, and professional. The techs were nice and clean too. They all put floor protection down from the area where they walked into the affected area. They wore booties when entering my house, and they moved all of my contents and it was all organized and nice. After all the demolition was done, they came back daily and they would check the levels to make sure that it was drying properly. It was overall a good experience.
I have a better flooring. It’s so alarming when I stepped in water but they came right away. As soon as I made the call, which was on the weekend, they were there within half an hour. I’ve had one of these before so I kind of knew what to expect but they were very knowledgeable, walked me through everything on what’s going to happen, and talked to my adjuster. My adjuster was going to come and see it. They all worked with him directly so I didn’t have to really do anything and they put me at ease. It was a great outcome for a bad situation.
I had a flood in my basement when the power went out. ServiceMaster came, cleaned up all the water, sanitized the whole basement and hauled to the way that was damaged and we couldn’t salvaged. What we were able to salvage, they sanitized it, repacked everything in boxes that could be repacked and stacked everything up so that it was off the floor while the floor was drying.
The first night when I discovered the flood in the basement, one person came, did a quick appraisal and brought in some drying machines. On the second day, a young lady and a man came and then on the third day, the same young lady and another lady worked until the afternoon time. Every single person that came into my home was wonderful. That’s a total of like six strangers plus the manager that came around a couple of times to check on the job so that’s like another person. They were polite, caring, wonderful, thoughtful, understanding, cordial and empathetic. They would show or tell me what they had found and how much damage there was. So I knew right along everything that had to go out.
I lost a lot of my personal things. I had just moved stuff from the second floor of my home into my basement to be sorted through because I recently went through a divorce and had to move my daughter in. Anything that was questionable, they would make sure that I had sight of it and made the decision if it would go or stay. They brought me down to show me everything as it went. Each person every day left me a list of everything that they had done. I was sitting here the first full day and there were things being hauled out on my basement that were soft and wet. I did a lot of crafting and whole reams of my fabric were gone. I also saved all my books, writing and papers and lost a good portion of that stuff. It was difficult but there was one particularly young lady who was fabulous. She was here the most and I just loved her. They all did a phenomenal job but Karen in particular.
I lost a week's work to that process. I had to take an unexpected week’s vacation to be here so that ServiceMaster could do what they needed to do. I had people ask me and I recommended ServiceMaster. This was the second time I’ve used them. The first time was many years ago when a hose on my washing machine let go and flooded my bathroom and the basement. And this time, they were the only ones I thought of when I knew I needed to have someone clean up.
The ServiceMaster techs got their work done quick, as soon as they got in there. The only thing I didn’t care for was the way that they moved things. They moved them from one area to another and some of my stuff got broken. They should be more careful, especially if it says something fragile like Christmas decoration needs. Other than that, I was fine with them.
I had some water damage that was caused by neighbors upstairs in my condo unit. The homeowners did the original contracts and I took over in terms of speaking and settling everything up. Upon contacting Allstate, they put me in touch with ServiceMaster as their company in my region. ServiceMaster contacted me very soon after and it was a very good experience with them. I had the team members do mitigation work to dry out the water. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive in terms of returning my calls or picking up and arriving at the time that we agreed upon. The technicians described what would be done. It was not anything too complicated in my case so I gave them the okay to go do whatever they had to. They kept me in the loop and did a great job. I was very satisfied after the service.
I had water damage in my basement. There was a crack on the water filter system and it sprayed the ceiling and walls. I was gone for two months and I had a whole wall that’s black with mold. I have farmer’s insurance and it’s been great. ServiceMaster was here that day, if not, the next morning, after I called my insurance company. They’ve been very courteous and responsive. Everybody was also thoughtful with the exception of the two-man crew that took my hardwood up from my living room floor. They weren’t careful, split some of my door facings and there’s no way to cover them up. I complained and they had some service masters come out to repair the damage. So it’s being taken care of but they’re still not finished.
Other than that, I had very good communication with ServiceMaster's reps. They got back with me and I’ve been very happy with them, particularly with their adjuster and another employee named Cole. They've been really helpful. Their front man, Ben, was also ideal and well placed. The whole experience has been very positive.
I got a call from my son who had just gotten home from school. A pipe on the sink in the kitchen had broken and was running all day. The kitchen, the kitchen floor and the kitchen cabinets that I had just put in a few months prior got damaged. The water went down the basement and ruined some of the drop ceilings down the stairs. Dry wall and a bunch of electronics also got wet.
I called the insurance and they got the ball rolling. They suggested ServiceMaster so we called them up. Talked to the owner and he was a very nice guy. My wife and I were shaken up with everything and he explained the situation. He originally talked about coming out the next morning but instead, he and his son came over that night to look everything over and give us some idea of what was going on. They were in contact with me, they came out and they set up the sand and dehumidifiers. They did all the work that needed to be done. They checked in with me every day and they came back the next day and checked for moisture.
Our first concern was mold and they reassured me. When they were doing the moisture check on the floors, I was there with them. The workers were very professional too. Everybody was super nice and everything they promised me, they lived up to. I originally scheduled them to come out and then do some of the repair work for the kitchen upstairs. It was a little more pricey than I wanted to pay so I ended up doing the work myself. But other than that, they were great and I had a very good experience with ServiceMaster.
I contacted ServiceMaster of Chantilly, VA to do a full cleaning/disinfecting the entire home.in Centreville, VA. While he was recuperating from surgery The work was half done and property that I told the Project manager what do with it was not. They are not very business savvy. On the day that in met with Project Manager. He pretended that he was putting the is in phone, but he never gave a copy of what I told him that I wanted. He stated on the bill that there was water damage, not true. He never wrote a contract at all.
They ended up forging my name on a contract with one paragraph that I had never seen until we went to court. All the 2nd floor items were missing and a few items on the first floor were also missing. We contacted them, they told us they were not in the warehouse. Well, if the missing property was not taken to the warehouse, it would not be there. We had to sue in small claims court just to recoup part of the funds for the missing property. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.
ServiceMaster did my basement 'cause it got flooded in July. The insurance company got a hold of them and they came the next day, which was excellent. They were here for a couple of weeks, getting everything cleaned in the basement and taking out and putting it to my garage. Everything happened in the summertime so that was good.
The foreman's name is Randy and he was very good. He knew what he was doing and he had his people under control. He also kept reassuring me that the basement's going to be even better than before. Also, the gentleman that came and finished the basement for me did an excellent job. He was very thorough with his work. We had lots of fun here. I even fed them dinner every day, even though they didn't ask for it. But there were a couple of things that they could have done that they didn't do. There were things that they put in boxes that they shouldn't have 'cause it caused molds to grow. But that was more of an oversight since they have not taught them to do things a little bit differently.
The lady across the street had a fire in her basement and another lady had a flood down the road as well. And compared to the experiences they went through, ServiceMaster was by far one of the top companies that I was truly blessed to get to come here. I still might be waiting to get my basement done if not for them. They got it done in July, August, September and October. They never gave up. There might have been a couple tiny glitches but nothing that halted the overall progress that needed to be done to the basement.
We had a mold problem at an old house that we moved into for an office. I contacted an air quality person who said we needed to get it fixed. ServiceMaster came at the lowest cost, and they did a great job. The main guy scheduled very quickly and was very responsive both by email and phone. I only talked to the techs for a couple of minutes, but they seemed to know what they were doing. They seemed like they are a well-oiled machine and they were as close to perfect as you could get. I was very satisfied.
My bathroom was flooded and ServiceMaster dried out the floors for us. The guy who came out was extremely nice. They worked around my work schedule really well and were flexible time-wise when I had to change the time at the last second. They also got the job done quickly.
We live in a new construction we purchased in January. The sump pump filled, and my builder did not want to respond. I am not the average consumer because I’m an agent. So, in my insurance company, I asked one if there was a preferred vendor and he referred ServiceMaster Restore. They were thorough, but I think for what they did, the price that they charge is excessive - $5,700 to dry it up is a bit much. I know I probably would have done this job, and I could have gotten fans for the same amount of price. The technicians, however, were fine. My other complaint is that one and a half week ago one of their reps asked me if I had got the payment from my insurance ‘cause no payment went directly to me, which I just found tacky to ask me where the payment was.
I had a company that renovated my kitchen and they didn’t cap a waterline so when my husband took a shower, the next morning it was connected to the same line that goes to the outside and it came into the kitchen so I got water all over the floor and it stuck there under the protective covering for 10 hours. They ignored it so I scheduled service with ServiceMaster Restore and it was pretty easy. They did what was necessary to dry out the floor. They tinted it for two days and then they brought in a mat system for the third day and they told me the floor should be fine. Their technicians were very good and I am very satisfied. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
We had flooding in our basement on Cape Cod. ServiceMaster did the initial work to remove the damaged drywall and carpet. And then, we had them come in and do the repairs. Unfortunately, it wasn't covered by our homeowner's insurance but scheduling with them was excellent and timely. They showed up and did what they said they were going to do. The reps were professional, cordial and helpful. They started in September and the last bit of work is still being done now. But overall, I'm highly satisfied with them.
I had a pipe break that really wrecked the condo and the association scheduled a service with ServiceMaster Restore. They came out, were there by 7:00 at night and they did a wonderful job. The rep that came to my house was very good. Right now it's gutted. It hasn't been put back together again but they did a very good job drying it up. It took about two weeks to dry it up and I have fans all over the place. Overall, ServiceMaster Restore did very well and they were very efficient.
We had a sewer get backed up and it wrecked our basement. The techs from ServiceMaster came and tore everything apart, and they're in the process of putting it back together again. Everything was great. They were always clean and professional.
Our water heater leaked and ServiceMaster Restore came to dry it out the same day that we reported the leak. They have replaced the spot for the water heater. They put the flooring in and put in the new water heater. They're still not finished yet because we had a death in the family and they have some houses that people haven't been in their homes that they wanted to finish before they come back. So at least we're in our home when those people work. Their reps were good to work with and their service was excellent
We had a flood on our basement and my wife's sister had used ServiceMaster before. They had a flood as well a few years ago and so they had recommended ServiceMaster. They promptly called us back, came and remediated the issue right away. So it was quick, very prompt and very efficient service. They did a good job. Also the gentleman who coordinated everything and had the most communication with was great. They're going to handle the contracting part for the rebuilding and I have a high level of satisfaction. I would recommend them for sure.
I was interested in having ServiceMaster do a deep clean on a rental property that I own. My renters moved out and it was overwhelming for me. I thought I needed professional help because the carpet was unreal. It was so dirty. And the whole house as well. I called them and the guy came to look the house over and gave me an estimate.
I chose out of the services that I felt I needed the most help with and asked them if they could do that which is cleaning the carpets and deep cleaning the five rooms plus two bathrooms. That's what I hired them to do and I was very pleased. The people who worked for ServiceMaster who came to my house were very nice, very polite and very accommodating. I had no problem whatsoever with their work. They did an excellent work and I just appreciated everything they did. I'm highly satisfied.
Everyone has commented on how well everything looked. So I thought it looked about as clean as it could get. They did the best they could on the carpet with what they had to work with. The gentleman who did the carpet explained to me that there were things that he was afraid they wouldn't be able to get out. And he couldn't and I know he felt bad because he couldn't. But he's professional. He knew what he was doing. There was no way I could have even done that well. So I thought it looked good. They didn't mess around with what they were doing. They did their job and did it in a good amount of time. And I thought that the price was fair for what they had to do. I didn't complain about that. I was happy with everything --- with the personnel, with the job they did and the time and manner.
ServiceMaster Restore were out to my home because I had a pipe burst. It was very easy to schedule. My insurance company called them. They explained everything the time they came through the door. They explained why they were doing everything and why they did it. The interaction was very good. They dried things out and sprayed for mold. I was just very impressed and I would definitely recommend them.
I had a water supply line break and I wasn’t at home, so when I came in the door, it was like a water fall in the stairwell, upstairs, kitchen, under the walls from the utility room and then through the floor into the basement. My daughter works for ServiceMaster and I sent her a text message, so she took care of the connection of getting the on-call person here. The first phase was getting everything dried up in between the walls and then coming under the wall from the area where it was happening. The techs had to put some holes on the walls, take things apart, take things out and get things dried up. I had air handlers, dehumidifiers and a big furnace running for a few days. Then they would come and check. They have meters where they can read to see how things were going. And then after things were dried, they were able to put them back, which was the great part about it.
The next phase is to put things back together and put down some new floor. They have turned in some kind of appraisal to the insurance company and they’re handling that. I have signed the contract to start a small phase of it and trying to get myself work into their schedule. It's a work in progress but it will be covered. It’s not pretty and the kitchen cabinets are empty because they are still going to have to come out since there was an old flooring underneath it which is part of why things took a few days to dry. But the best part is that I can do laundry now. ServiceMaster made things functional. I can open the refrigerator, take things and wash and dry clothes. The insurance adjuster said I was very lucky that it was clean water, not sewer back-up.
I definitely would encourage somebody to get these people in to do things right. Initially, I swept water into some pump in the basement and had things outside drying. Then my daughter who lives with me brought up, “No, there’s insulation in the walls that I think you really need to check what’s going on.” It was a good thing I did because of that underlayment under the cabinets that would have still been wet. Even for the insurance company, if their name is there on my insurance policy, they want to do things right and get everything taken care of. That’s very important and a reason to contact a company like ServiceMaster Restore.
We had some water damage and our insurance was supposed to schedule a service with ServiceMaster Restore. But something happened with our insurance and ServiceMaster didn’t get the order when they should have. We thought they were going to be there at 4:00 or 5:00 but when I called at 6:00 to see where they were, they didn't know what I was talking about. But they figured it out and they sent somebody out right away. They were there from 7:30 to 9:00 and did everything. Everything was good and they came out when it was convenient for us. I was even going to be out of town one day and they said that they could just come back when I was going to be back in town. They also got everything cleaned up and dried out.
I have known about ServiceMaster for many years and I knew a little bit about the family that owns the local franchise there in our field, so we decided to use their services. ServiceMaster Restore has been doing some cleaning in our house, in preparing it for sale. They were courteous and quick in getting things scheduled and done. They also have a good cordial working relationship, and it just worked with us very well. The techs were very, very professional, understandable, and did just an excellent job. They seem to know what they were doing! My last experience with them was in August, and they are still the same. It was an excellent experience.
I had some water damage in my home and ServiceMaster came out to survey the damage and determine the water. They did the remediation of the water damage in the home and it went very well. I was pleased with their service though I had to wait a little bit longer than I ever liked. The people will show up occasionally but their schedules change. But overall, the workers did well and the people whom I dealt with were very good. They were personable and very professional. I'm very satisfied.
Our upstairs neighbor had a flood in her apartment. Apparently at 2:00 in the morning, she didn’t realize it was happening because she was sound asleep. Then, around 2:30 when my son was going to sleep, he noticed water coming down the ceiling. After that, everything was rushed and when he opened the door, tons of water actually ran out of the apartment into the hallway and crossed to the next door neighbor. It was such a massive flooding. We acted quickly because the fire department came and we didn't want to have mold issue. So my son called ServiceMaster. They came and brought about 20 something units of blowers and dehumidifiers. They took the units out once they thought that the humidity was gone. The person who came, Tony, was a nice, very polite and very friendly person.
A part of their job was also to box certain things and put them aside so that once I get to the removal of the floor and placing the new flooring in, my job would be easier. Yesterday, when people from Furniture Mecca came over to help me with the removal of my master bedroom closet, they said that ServiceMaster should have brought me some boxes. I was concerned about that because I didn't get any boxes from them. If I was entitled to that, that's not the service I got. But if it's what we are not entitled to, then I was happy with the service that I got, which was the machines, the removal and checking of the humidity in the walls and the flooring.
We had a fire and a flood in my condo. ServiceMaster Restore, who was referred to me by my insurance company, came in and didn’t get started because they get the association to figure out how to turn the electricity back on. But from the day they started, they were very professional. They had to remove all the furniture, pull up floors and tore off walls. For about three weeks, they were in and out to check every day. They ended up putting a lockbox on and used it occasionally when they couldn’t get over.
They also had changes with people sometimes. One time, we were going through all my things to choose which one was going to be totaled and what needs to be packed. There were three teams of two people working to try to get stuff out of there. They're dependable, hardworking and respectful. Also, the head of the crews that came in was aware of everything that was going on and they all seemed to communicate well with him as well. So I would definitely recommend them to anybody.
They still have some things they have to do though but the repair work can’t start until the insurance defines who’s going to do what. They also have to retrieve all my stuff from the storage when the repair work's done. They said it would take four to six months so by March or April, ServiceMaster will come back in and redo it, and deliver all my stuff back. But so far, I’m very happy and thankful for what they’ve done. They're amazing.
ServiceMaster Restore was recommended to me by my home loan insurance, Pacific Specialty. They just gave me a number and said somebody would be calling me who did call within the next 15 minutes. They came out that same afternoon to fix a leak in my roof and on my ceiling downstairs. They arrived on time and came prepared with a heater in case they had to run humidifiers.
Amongst their staff, I had the most interaction with James. He came out and right away, let me know who he was and where he was from, and assessed the situation, all done in a timely fashion. He gave me a tip on how to make the process a little bit quicker to have the opening. In that way, I can get my plumber in, if the plumber wasn't going to be covered. He was very informative and told me everything he was doing every step of the way. It was very relaxing 'cause I haven't been through anything like this before, so I didn't know what was going to be covered. But they were very helpful.
The second day, they came out and another guy tested and checked if there was any mold, made sure everything was dry, picked up the humidifier, and it was all pretty nice. I really had an excellent experience, considering what was going on in my home at the time. We were in contact the whole time and they were very flexible with me as well. So, I was very happy with them. I would definitely refer ServiceMaster Restore if the situation happened to anyone.
The water from my washing machine ruined the hardwood floors of my apartment and ServiceMaster Restore was looking after the restoration through an insurance claim. Scheduling the service was totally easy. The one I talked to was easy to get along with and seemed to know what he was talking about. The technician's doing it all and I just left it with him. It's been fine and he kept me up-to-date on what's going on. They're not finished yet, but so far, so good.
We had water damage from a leak about six weeks ago. I contacted their rep. She said she'd send someone out right away. She was constantly in contact with us and did excellent follow-ups. The guys sent were great! They came out and did the air scrubber and dehumidifier. And they removed the cabinet, the Sheetrock. They worked on the project for about 10 days and I am 100% satisfied. If I need them, I would certainly call them again.
I had water damage because of a leaking hot water tank. SO, I contacted my insurer, and they put me into contact with a representative from ServiceMaster Restore, who came out and did an excellent job. They responded immediately, and a representative appeared almost in the same day and talked to me to set what they were going to do. When the technicians came, they carried out the furniture to the storage container, which I think was a good idea. The manager of the group also provided me with a lock, so I could lock the storage container. There was also another group who dried out the walls, and they brought out an equipment to do that. They also tested for asbestos and moisture. They then concluded that they can dry out the walls without replacing the dry walling.
The ladies who carried the furniture also did a very good job because everything was later reinstalled in exactly the same position. One of the subcontractors who did the painting was also excellent. They restored the area exactly the same way it was when it was painted five years ago. It actually looks almost better than before. ServiceMaster Restore did a very good job. They acted professionally, did everything that they should be doing, and went out of their way to do a good job.
I was working with the insurance adjuster and he contacted ServiceMaster Restore. And then, I just went and met up with them. I’ve worked with them before and have always been very happy with ServiceMaster Restore. They're very very good to work with. They kept me very updated, sent me the estimate and the repair work.
After the owner of the house passed away, we weren't able to keep it on the market because we had to get some paperwork redone before my personal rep could sign any offers and so, nobody had been in there. When I went to show it, the roof had been leaking and the ceiling was actually coming down. So, it was a mess. ServiceMaster Restore did a very good job with it and got everything taken care of. They had covered all the carpeting and had to do some mold and drying out remediation. So, it took a while because they had to dry everything out because the house has been vacant a long time. They were also very tidy in getting things done. I requested that they come back and re-inspect because there were some concerns. They would gladly stop between other jobs. But the house looks good now and had it sold.
Our kitchen had a problem after hurricane Irma. We had a leak, and there were some cabinets that swelled up. So, I scheduled my service and talked to Christine from ServiceMaster, and she was very thorough, and she took care of the rest. The servicemen came out, and they had some pretty neat stuff. They sent a mold hygienist, who was really thorough. He checked everything out. My wife was making a big deal thinking there was mold all over the house, but the kitchen was the only place we got it. Two more guys came out in the afternoon, and had some really neat equipment as well. They just pointed it at the wall, and said that there was no moisture behind our wall, just the cabinets. So, they did pretty good there. But, then they put an air scrubber and dehumidifier in for a while. The air scrubber was really noisy, but it did its job. The people were great and very knowledgeable with their job. They were really cooperative on everything, as well. You name it, and they did it.
The only thing about the whole experience was the mold guy because we had water coming in our sliding doors. It’s a really good door, and we’ve never had that before, although we’ve always had hurricanes. But this time, we’ve got water coming in, and the carpet got wet. Luckily, we’ve got tons of towels, so we just kept changing them. But, the carpet got stained, and you can see it if you pulled it back. But the mold guy said that there’s no mold at the edge. I’ve cleaned it three times, but the stain comes back again after four or five days. They keep saying that it’s more on the carpet, and that I should have it cleaned. But we just had Stanley Steemer out here four months ago, and had it cleaned. Other than that, everything they did was fine. They did what they were supposed to do, and we’re totally satisfied. This was our sixth, and undoubtedly, the worst hurricane we’ve had. We’ve got a ton of damage here. But little by little, it’s getting fixed.
We had a water leak from an upstairs bathroom that leaked into the ceiling of the main floor and a little into the basement. So it was entirely unexpected, right, as they always are. So I called my insurance company and ServiceMaster the same morning while the water was still dripping and they were out within a couple of hours and were taking the drywall out of the main floor where the water had leaked to and setting up fans within hours of the actual problem, which is great. They actually took a couple of workers off another job in order to get somebody there sooner. I've used them previously with the same insurance company and so I called the insurance company first and told them that I had in mind who I wanted to use to do the moisture mitigation.
As we had hardwood floor in the upstairs hallway they had to put the drying net. They had all the equipment that were needed to dry out and protect various things. You have to take out the drywall but useful for not to have to take out the flooring. They all came back every morning and did a moisture check and told me what percentage we're at and how many days it's likely to be. Basically the insurance company wants to mitigate as much as you possibly can as soon as you can because it costs them less money. I actually had this happened one time before and used ServiceMagic (ServiceMaster). So at this point, I knew what to expect. They removed a little bit maybe the second day and the rest of it the fourth day. They were very responsive. It was a really good experience even if having a water leak was not a good experience. I was very satisfied and I would call them again if I need to.
I had a good relationship with ServiceMaster Restore and they did a good job. They are pretty methodical, clean and very polite. When we were reselling the house, we had found mold. When I made a phone call, they came in and gave an estimate, and then I called my insurance company. They were very professional and right on time. It took them less than a week since they scheduled to get my problem resolved. They took a couple of hours to do their own business but it was very fast dealing with them in general. I will recommend it anytime. If somebody calls for a reference, I'd be glad to report that too.
I’ve used ServiceMaster more than once because my insurance company has them fix the repairs of whatever needs to be done. This is the third time I’ve had to use them. We had a leak in the roof and it came to the ceiling. We had to have the ceiling replaced and ServiceMaster fixed the roof. The people who did it all were here when they said they were going to be here. They came out at 2:00 o’clock in the morning in the pouring rain to put tarp and sandbags up on the roof. They did a great cleanup job. I had some questions because I’ve never had a roof or ceiling repair, and they were explaining everything.
If anybody has problems with their roof or ceiling, ServiceMaster is good. They’re the best company to have if you have a problem with your house and in a crisis. They’re right there and they guarantee their work. They’re friendly people and they’re there to please you. They bend over backwards and go the extra mile. You couldn’t ask for a better company. Nicole who is one of the girls who works at ServiceMaster is right on top.
When the basement flooded, I called my insurance and they sent ServiceMaster. They showed up within an hour, checked the damage, and scheduled an appointment since we were not sure that there is going to be more flood from my drain. Once I got the drain fixed, they came in within an hour again, then they loaded all their equipment and started to work on it right away. Their technician kept in contact to let me know what was going on and sent me some pictures of what he did. One little thing was the odor was still in the building even though it was deodorized. But clean-wise, everything looks better than before. They did a perfect job.
ServiceMaster Restore took care of a flood that happened in my garage. Our main contact was Eddie and he was really amazing. He was accommodating and was a pleasure to deal with. The technicians were really professional too. They were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. They got here fast whenever I needed them. Overall, I had a seamless experience and it was super organized. Scheduling my service was flawless and every time I called, they answered. They were really good.
I had a car fire, and it burned the car up inside. ServiceMaster Restore pulled all the old sheetrock out of it. And the insulation was all stuck up with smoke. Their team was a couple of girls and a man. They talked to me and said what they were going to have to do to some of the stuff. They wrapped everything up. It took a couple of days to take them out one piece at a time and wrap them up. And then another crew came in and started washing everything. They had never did a job like this one before, but they did a good job. I would recommend them.
The builder of our house put in a plumbing device under the bathtub and it went bad. It started a fast leak. He also installed a bathtub that rested underneath so, there were two things. The water collected quickly on the ceiling in our living room, and it gave way and busted open. Everything was wet, damaged and there were all kinds of waste. As soon as my husband called, ServiceMaster came right away almost the next day. It took them time to take out the old, wet ceiling the first day. They had been doing work, fixing, getting stuff out of way and searching for damage and they were there five to six hours. They fixed the ceiling so we didn't have those raggedly edges left on it and it almost looks good. The second day, they came back and they had instruments to suck up the water and to dry it out. They emptied the water bucket because they were draining the water and that didn’t take them long. They were there for an hour.
In addition, they had to make sure that their equipment was working and they replaced the equipment that was not working. They checked to see how wet everything still was and it was still wet the second day so, they left the drying equipment and some of the water catchers. They came back, checked it again and everything was absolutely dry on the fourth day. They cleaned up the whole mess. I also liked it that they had the same technician come back every day so, we didn't have to get used to a whole new group of people. Their employees were also so polite and adorable. We had a good experience with ServiceMaster Restore.
I called ServiceMaster to clean the carpet at my son & daughter in law's house while they were at the hospital welcoming a new baby into their family. Their technician called me when he was on his way. He was friendly, efficient, & did a great job! The new parents are very happy with their clean carpet! Thank you ServiceMaster Grandville, MI!
ServiceMaster by Amy Jo Hallmark - Her team damaged my personal property on a pack out and pack in. After repeated attempts to resolve the issue I am forced to pursue legal action. Many attempts by others to help were ignored by Amy.
Something on the hot water heater went out in my basement. So, the carpet and everything got wet. I had ServiceMaster come, and they did a great job. My insurance company gave them my number, and they called me to ask a few questions as to what happened, as well as set up a time to come, and what they would do. A day or tow two later, the technicians were here in the time frame that they said. They were friendly, and knowledgeable. They cut out drywall, put something on the wall, and said that it was water damage in certain places, then they removed the baseboard. They did what they were here to do, did a great job, and they cleaned up. They’d still have to install the drywall and the carpet, but up until this point, I was really impressed in the work and quickness with them.
The flapper on our toilet didn't close and it ran all night full blast, filled the septic and overflowed through a sink in the basement. By the time we found it, three quarters of the basement was wet, so we called ServiceMaster on a Saturday morning. We were bagging several hours before they got here with the professional vacuums, but they came earlier than I thought. They were here for a couple of hours and they had equipment running for the next several days. They came back with the moisture meter and checked on the equipment. They cut holes in the bottoms of my cabinets to run air vents into them to get them to dry out more. Considering it was a weekend and we're in Maine where we have a low population and we're spread out, they did fine and we had a positive experience.
A water leak did several thousand dollars worth of damage and I called ServiceMaster. They responded in less than an hour and everybody was very professional and diligent about their work. They were also very efficient and I was very satisfied.
I had a great experience with ServiceMaster. One of their representatives helped get all my stuff cleaned. She called me every other day and let me know how everything is going along. There was some complexity in my apartment because the door was locked. But ServiceMaster was very patient with me. They kept tabs with me on what's going on and when I finally got access back to my apartment, scheduling with them to come out and pick up my stuff was very smooth. Their reps were very professional, friendly, and they got things done quickly. Once they got into the apartment, they went straight to business and started packing. I'm very satisfied with the services and I felt very safe doing business with them.
My basement needed to be cleaned from a sewer pipe problem and my insurance told me to contact ServiceMaster Restore. I had to cancel my original call to ServiceMaster Restore because I had to go to the ER. Rescheduling was difficult because of my work schedule but the representative followed through and made sure I got everything sorted. She was courteous and understanding of having to cancel the night before. She was very good about keeping in touch with me to make sure we got it rescheduled. The technicians were very polite, professional and organized. They worked quickly and efficiently and the place was spotless. The person who called on the phone to facilitate things was diligent.
We had a roof leak in our garage that has affected both the garage area and one connected bedroom. ServiceMaster came out to do the demolition and remediation of the water damaged areas and everybody’s been very responsive. We had a little confusion on the frontend as to what was being quoted and why, but once we got all that straightened out, things went relatively smoothly in terms of getting the work done. I wasn’t at the house when the people ServiceMaster sent to do the demolition and remediation work came, so I did not have a lot of interaction with them. But, everything that they did, to the extent that I can see, looks fine. My wife was pretty much there the whole time, and as far as she and I are concerned, it looks like everything was done as represented it would be.
While I was away, my neighbor came over to water my plants and called me about a toilet that’s been leaking. It went down through all three floors, through the ceiling and through the staircases, and into the bottom floor which is a finished basement. She called the fire department because my dining room ceiling had caved in and there was five inches of water in every place. The fire department came and they vacuumed as much water as they could.
Then ServiceMaster came onboard and they finished getting out the water. Then they put their drying machine which went on for 10 days. They started with demolition of the tiles, flooring, walls, and ceilings that needed to be replaced. Once they completed the demolition, they did the reconstruction. They did a cleaning of everything and sanitized all of the furniture, equipment, etc. that were in the piles and brought it into the house for me. They were nothing short of miraculous and I have the highest appraisal for them.
I had a water damage and scheduling with ServiceMaster Restore was very good. They were there the same day I called. However, the crew wasn't very informed. They said they didn't do restoration and my adjuster thought they did. Nothing got done after they got it all dried. About three weeks, nothing happened. So I called my adjuster and he called ServiceMaster. They told him they do restoration. I wasted three weeks so I was not happy. They should have their crew informed of what they do and what they don't do. I had a guy from ServiceMaster come and measure everything, and was going to put together a proposal and the estimate. So I'm waiting on that now. I don't know what the performance is going to be from this point on, but hopefully, it would be much better.
There was flood damage in our house and ServiceMaster Restore's service was excellent, and their people were very professional and polite. Prior to them coming out, our insurance company called SERVPRO, and they were supposed to call us back just after 10:30 at night. But they never called us back or showed up that night. So, my wife and I sucked out most of the water with vacuums. And that next morning, we never heard anything from SERVPRO. So, I called the insurance company up and they said they would call ServiceMaster. Within 15 minutes, we had a call from ServiceMaster and they were here within 45 minutes of that phone call.
ServiceMaster got out here quickly and started taking care of the problem. They were awesome with drying everything out and what they took care of, but the contractor's dragging his feet. I'm still waiting for him to come in and finish his work. Our carpet, glossed hardwood floor, and some drywall have to get done. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with ServiceMaster and I'd definitely recommend them.
My sister had been very ill and we had to get her apartment cleaned out so we could turn it back over to the rental company. ServiceMaster Restore came in and did a fantastic job. They couldn’t have been nicer, worked around our schedule and got it done as quickly as possible. The girl at the office was wonderful and we were there with the gentleman who came and surveyed the apartment to set up the service. We’re so happy with them and we're 100% satisfied. If we’re in another cleanup situation, ServiceMaster Restore is the first we’ll call.
I threw out the first people that my insurance company hired to mitigate some water damage as they were terrible. Then they employed ServiceMaster Restore and I arranged to meet with them when they wanted to do their checks. They set fans to dry out the water damage for three days. I’m satisfied that ServiceMaster Restore did a really fine job. They’re very professional and competent people.
I am writing this letter to inform the Better Business Bureau, the Arkansas Attorney General and the general public that ServiceMaster is an extremely unprofessional and possibly dangerous company! Our insurance company connected us with ServiceMaster in North Little Rock, AR after a water leak in our home caused mold. This company sent a crew to "wipe down" our furniture when we were initially told they would take our furniture to a warehouse to clean it. They were supposed to remove portions of our kitchen cabinets, walls, backsplash and dining room walls and prep it for the restoration process. They cracked several pieces of the remaining backsplash tiles in the kitchen which will have to be removed and replaced.
When setting up the containment before removing the areas of our home that had mold, they sloppily stapled over 100 industrial staples in our upper walls, crown molding and floorboards in our dining room and kitchen. After they completed the mold removal and getting paid from our insurance company they failed to complete the job. Even after I called them several times they NEVER came back to remove the containment. I was in a car accident a few years ago and have a back injury. I had to climb up and down a ladder to remove the containment again which consisted of heavy duty plastic AND over 100 industrial staples which to this day I am removing staples from places I didn't previously see.
ServiceMaster initially moved the dining room furniture, which included our piano, into our living room. We were told they thoroughly cleaned ALL of the furniture from the dining room, especially the items that were directly in contact with the walls and the flooring which contained mold. As we were moving the piano, which hadn't been moved since ServiceMaster initially moved it in mid-June to the living room, we discovered MOLD still on the bottom of the piano, which in turn, had contaminated the flooring (carpet) in the living room. The underneath and the back of the piano had mold and dust which indicates they DID NOT clean the back nor underneath the piano, even though it was sitting directly on top of the carpeted area with the mold. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed with their service and would NEVER recommend them to anyone!
I had the little water smelly issue that was bothering me during the time that the water was there in the wall area. But the fans that ServiceMaster Restore had blowing for a couple of days really took that smell away. I appreciate that because that would have been driving me crazy. I was very satisfied with the whole process and the result. Also, scheduling the service was easy. The time they scheduled for them to come out was a good time for me. Each day, they come out around the same time to check on the fans and everything. So it was very convenient for me. Everything happened fast and on-time. It took four days from the first day that they came in to the end day of everything drying out and them checking.
I had water damage and had ServiceMaster Restore tear out some flooring and sheetrock. There were few issues with me not knowing what they were going to tear out, just the damaged part or all of the flooring that needed to be replaced. It seemed like a gray area at first. They ended up removing all of the flooring that needed to be replaced. They were a little rough in pulling some of the door molding up and left some dent in the wall with their crowbars.
The water damage happened on the 11th. They were quick to respond and came out on the same day. They put in some dryers and fans. On the first day, I was on vacation so I was at home. I checked if they would do what they needed to do. When I went down after they left, I couldn't even tell what they took out. They also packed everything really nice in boxes. However, it was only going out to a pod for storage and wasn't going to be moved anywhere. They packed everything like it was going to be shipped cross-country. We thought we could just cover the stuff on the shelves, like towels and whole linen. It was just the floors that needed to be replaced so we could just leave everything in the closets and shelving since it's a waste of time and effort to move all that stuff.
That evening, I moved the bigger stuff out myself. The next day, I moved out even more. When they got here, I let them do the bedroom that had a king-sized bed. The platform had to be taken apart and I let them do that. When they put that back, they didn't plug in the plug the way it was before, so our light was no longer on the switch. I still have to fix that. I have to pull all that stuff away from the wall and get the plug back in there so our lights are on the switch. I had a couple issues here and there, but it was okay overall.
I had a water leak and we got ServiceMaster Restore. I interacted with four of their representatives and it was excellent in every case. They came very late to schedule the service but they told me what was going on, what they were going to do, and then they did it. The service technicians knew what they were doing. They had to remove the installation, remove part of flooring, and they worked their contract early. They did not actually restore everything and I had to arrange for another contractor to come in and totally restore it the way it was. Still, I'm very glad and it was a very good experience.
Scheduling my service with ServiceMaster Restore was relatively easy. They showed up when they said they would and their service was okay. I was very satisfied with their restoration work. They restored all the areas that I requested and they did what I asked them to do. All of the people that they sent out acted very professionally and got right at the work. They weren't goofing around and they did a very good job.
But the only thing that wasn't great was the dumpster people that they got to come in. They used some people from Farmington who seemed to have a terrible time in getting the dumpsters in and out, and they tore up the road and everything with it. This surprised me a bit because, before I had ServiceMaster come in, I already had someone bring one of the large dumpsters in and overfilled it for him, but it didn't do any damage at all that I could see. But that wasn't too bad because I was going to have road work done anyway.
ServiceMaster’s whole team has a good relationship with my insurance team and the scheduling of the general contractors to deal with getting quotes ready for insurance was fine. Their general contractor helped in planning the restoration after the recovery from the initial leak. The leak was due to dislodged dishwasher drain begin and they came in very professionally to dry out hardwood and help dry out the wall in the basement below, where the leak was.
They were flexible enough to be able to come by within a couple of hours of the first time that I talked to them, and explained that the next couple of days, they’d be in each day, to check on and continue the pursuit and making sure everything was dry, and in scheduling of the closure of the drying-out. From the standpoint of getting everything dried out and ready to do the restoration, it’s been very good. We’re in the middle of the restoration part of it. But as far as the initial bit of drying out and being useful and then getting everything out of the way, it’s all been a very good experience so far.
The waterline to the toilet sprung a leak and there was water gushing throughout the basement where the bathroom was located. I managed to get that turned off and Servicemaster came out within the first hour of making the call to the insurance company. My brother-in-law brought over his wet vac though so we vacuumed up a lot of the water before they came.
ServiceMaster took care of what had to be done. They laid out all their equipment, removed the floorboards in the areas where the water had penetrated, moved around a lot of furniture to get to the walls and lifted up the wall-to-wall carpet in the area where the water had seeped through. The first day when they came out, their second truck came and there were four guys working down there. That was on a Thursday in September. They said they were going to come out the following day but they came out two days later. They came on Sunday to do a check then they came back Monday to pick up some of the equipment.
It was pretty hot and it seemed like everything was already dry. On Wednesday, my mother called them to ask when they were going to pick up the rest of the equipment because it was still running and using up our electricity and we turned it off that night. ServiceMaster said that they would send out somebody the following day. They apologized saying that there was an update being made in their system and it probably got overlooked that the equipment was still there and that was understandable.
They came to pick up the rest of the stuff that following day which was a Thursday and the final equipment was picked up a week later from when they placed the fans. Two days ago, Wednesday is when they dropped off the area rugs that were picked up, cleaned and dried. Everyone was professional, nice and pleasant and I was impressed with their promptness during the initial visit. They explained that once they moved the furniture, that they were not going to move it back. They also explained that they were going to pull out the floorboards in order to let the walls dry and they picked up the debris that was left.
ServiceMaster in Livermore did the water damage cleanup and they were excellent. The incident happened in the morning. The insurance company had contacted somebody else, but he couldn't get to my uncle's until late in the afternoon. I said I needed somebody sooner and these guys were able to re-arrange their schedule to get there early afternoon. They brought everybody that they needed to get it done. They came back everyday to check on the water damage.
After everything was clear, we found a crawlspace but it didn't get them all the way where the water damage was. After everything was pulled out and they were all done, they came back until he had found the crawlspace. He went back under the house and spent an hour there checking for any kind of damage underneath. They found none, but it was just really nice to know that. The ServiceMaster technicians were wonderful. My uncle has dementia but he's aware of things going on. And he's had some odd situations in his life that make him sometimes uncomfortable when strange people are in the house. So, I asked them to go over and introduce themselves and say hi to him and let him know what they were going to be doing. They were very gracious and did that. They'd come in and say hi every time. So, that was a big bonus too.
I would recommend ServiceMaster to others. They were good because I had a unique situation where I'm running all my uncle's affairs and I live in a different city. They had to communicate to me so I could let caregivers know when they were coming. They were great with all the interaction and making sure that everybody was on the same page and knew what was going on. They communicated really well. They were calm and that made me feel comfortable that they were going to take care of the situation and there wasn't going to be a problem. They interacted with my insurance which was nice. So, overall, it was a great experience.
Everyone from ServiceMaster Restore was good. They did a good job, and our experience was excellent. I would recommend them.
We had a large flood from the upstairs level into the kitchen of our home and our insurance company made the initial contact with ServiceMaster Restore, then they reached out to us. Once we were able to get in contact with them, they came out in a few hours and their technicians were very professional. They did some of the damage control and moisture removal. We had lots of questions and they explained things to us. They were very patient with us and went through everything.
Our house is still in shambles from the flood and we’re waiting to get work started, but from what I can tell, ServiceMaster's part of it has been great. We were highly satisfied with their service. But we had to have the bill uploaded to our insurance in order to get the rest of our claim processed and it was two weeks after the service that the bill was uploaded to our insurance company. So, we had to keep contact to try to get it uploaded and I had to go back and forth with the insurance company and ServiceMaster to try to make it happen. But it finally got done and now our claim is continuing the process.
ServiceMaster Restore had a relationship with us and we chose to select them again. Scheduling for our service call was excellent. They brought over helpers and they got all the carpet and things pulled up. They were very professional, and they worked around our time schedule. There was water damage, and they put everything and cornered it, and there was no other way to do it. But the service was fine, and it was a nice experience.
My septic tank backed up into my downstairs bathroom and spilled out over the floor and out into two other rooms that were carpeted. A day after I called, a rep from ServiceMaster Restore was out here. She was excellent. She sat down and told me exactly what they do. The very next day, the rep got the technicians to my house. They were professional, efficient and very nice as well. They came in and did an absolutely marvelous job of cleaning it all up, taking down some drywall and removing some carpet. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. If all of the technicians and representatives were like the people that came out here, I would recommend ServiceMaster to anyone.
We had a water line to our ice machine in our refrigerator leak and we had mold. My insurance company scheduled ServiceMaster for me but they got back to me personally right away. There was a little confusion, like a scheduling conflict, on the first day but they were super quick and polite to fix it. After that, they were here exactly when they said they were going to be. They also called me 30 minutes before they showed up to make sure I was ready. It was a Thursday and they had the equipment over the weekend. One guy even came on Saturday and they cleaned it up on Monday. They were great and super focused on customer service. I had a bad experience with my insurance company through the whole process but ServiceMaster stood out. They were awesome and I would highly recommend them.
A toilet overflowed and went into three bedrooms and the hallway down the living room. It happened on a Thursday and I was supposed to hear right back from my insurance company. I never heard back from them until Tuesday, so the water sat rotting the carpet and the floors. Scheduling an appointment with ServiceMaster was immediate, and their technicians were wonderful. They were here every day drying out the carpet and the walls, and when they pulled the carpet out, they determined there was asbestos. And I'm having to move out of my home because they got to take out all of it. They call me every few days to ask me what's going on because I just found a place to live. ServiceMaster has been fabulous. They've been right on top of everything the whole way, and I couldn't have done it without them.
When my mother passed away, we were looking for pictures and found black spots which are molds on the white ceiling. I didn’t know where to start so I called my insurance company and they gave me ServiceMaster Restore and SERVPRO. I called ServiceMaster and they would come out on Friday, while SERVPRO would come out on Thursday. I thought of getting an estimate from both companies. However, SERVPRO canceled on me within 45 minutes of my appointment time and so I decided to not reschedule with them.
Gary, the tech from ServiceMaster who came out, was early for his appointment. He was courteous and super nice as well. He went down, saw what the problem was, and then explained the problem perfectly to me. He said, “It looks like the mold is dead. I did spray it to make sure, but it looks like it’s already dead so you have nothing to worry about.” He also explained exactly how he would fix it and what he would need to do to fix it. He told me the breakdown of all of the charges too. And then he said, “I can’t do this today. If I do it, I have to go and meet my boss in Opal because she has an air scrubber, but I can call. I’ll be right back within 30 minutes and I can start. It will take me about 30 minutes to do it.”
The lady from ServiceMaster who I made the appointment with was super nice as well. When the tech told me how much it would be, I said, “Sure. I can give you a check and you can take it to her when you go meet her or I can call it in.” And he said, “No, I’ll get her on the phone. We can do this. Don’t worry about it. You don’t do a thing.” I’m very satisfied with ServiceMaster Restore. Having their service was awesome. I’ve already called my insurance company and told them that I would recommend this company to anybody and everybody that has issues.
We had a fire in our home on July 14th. And I had a friend who had had a fire several months before that so I had asked her who she would recommend we contact to help get our house back in order. She recommended the Jackson at ServiceMaster who went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. He was the first person we spoke to after the fire at our house, it was that afternoon, and he explained not just what they were going to do but he kind of helped me understand the whole process. That was just incredibly helpful at a very stressful time.
Also the technicians were just really great and very helpful. Like one day we were moving into an apartment and I needed my daughter’s booster seat. And so they stopped what they were doing to clean up so I could take it out of the house. I'm very happy with their work. Everything they cleaned doesn’t smell anymore and they were very thorough. It was a really great team. Hopefully we never need to use them again but I would tell anybody else who needs a recommendation to go with that team.
I had ServiceMaster Restore's service for smoke and fire damage. Their scheduling was good and The people I spoke with on the phone were very nice and tried to help us out as quickly as they could. The contractors who came were respectful to our stuff. They did their job and helped us good. I still haven't got my clothes back yet but they said it takes three weeks to do so, but I got my electronics back so that's good.
ServiceMaster did an outstanding job and I’m very happy with them. We had damage from hurricane Irma and water came into our condo. We had to evacuate and when we got back, we saw water damage and the carpet was molding and stunk to high heaven. I started calling everybody and nobody would return my calls. I called ServiceMaster and Courtney was just great. She got us scheduled in and said they'd have somebody out tomorrow if we were home.
The technicians showed up on time, were courteous, professional, nice and knowledgeable. They dried the carpet out then they came back three days later after the carpet was dry, took their equipment and moved all the furniture back. Their guy was here yesterday to evaluate replacing the padding, reinstalling the carpet and cleaning the carpet. It’s still ongoing and we’re still waiting for them to get us somebody to reinstall the carpet then clean but that’s moving along as fast as I can possibly expect because there were hundreds of thousands of people in my situation and there’s a deluge of work. They can't handle everybody all at once but they’ve done an excellent job and I'm all-around pleased.
I had a water leak and ServiceMaster came in and took care of the beginning parts of it. The phone response for scheduling the service was exceptional and the follow-up also was excellent. I called them about 9:30 in the morning and the contractors came by 12:30 in the afternoon. They were very good and professional. They had a lead and an assistant, and they moved about doing their job as if they did it every day. They were very quick that by 2:30 that afternoon they were out of my house. I’m delighted with what they did and I would recommend ServiceMaster Restore to anyone.
I had a fire in my home and used ServiceMaster Restore to do the heavy cleaning in my house. It was a terrible experience and will never recommend them to anyone. Took maybe 7 hours to get it done right and they had to send a crew back to clean up the staples and nails from taking out the carpet. They left a mess! Took alkaline a week or longer to get my stuff back and I didn't get the total lost lady until it was too late and I couldn't save some items that were very important to me. They were late every day or didn't show. They broke my bed and they don't want to take responsibility! The manager Tammy and her sister Marcy do not know what customer service is! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!
Our insurance company set up the service with ServiceMaster and their scheduler called me to set up a time. They were able to schedule us quickly and they were very prompt. The techs were really good as well. They needed to tear down part of the ceiling and wall and check for mold after a leak from an upstairs unit. They made sure they cleaned up behind themselves too. They were very respectful and they did a great job. My 85 years old mother who lives in this unit that I own was really happy when they were done.
We had water in the kitchen from a broken refrigerator line. Allstate insurance claim inspector scheduled service from ServiceMaster Restore and they called to confirm they were coming out at a specific time. The technicians were very quick and fast in doing the work and they informed us every step of the way of what they were going to be doing in terms of setting up blowers and tearing out wet wood floor. I'm satisfied with their service.
We had a flooding situation and ServiceMaster Restore dried out everything and helped us not to get worse. I had an excellent scheduling experience with them and the person who came out was excellent as well. There was a little confusion over the doorbell because it didn’t work so he had to come out the second day, but other than that, it was perfect. Also, I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any different. We also had a similar experience last year with another company and it was completely awful. ServiceMaster made us feel like the whole world isn’t out to screw us.
ServiceMaster was phenomenal. We called them around 7:00 o’clock at night and given that it was Labor Day, they still showed up before 9:00 o’clock. What happened was the waterline that feeds the water to the reservoir decided to break while we were away. So, we came back to a nice little pool inside of our house. The rep that scheduled the service was great. She explained exactly how it was going to happen. She said that I would be getting a call within the next hour, and fair enough, 45 minutes, I spoke to a Juan there and told me, “Yes, we’ll be out there and we’ll take it from here”.
The group of guys that worked on my property eased us into the process and gave us a timeframe. I wish their recognition goes a little bit noticed. They’ve got a great caliber of employees. I’m an insurance agent and I prep up customers for this type of scenario, never thinking that I would go through it, but, I could actually gladly say and educate my customers as to what the experience is. I would definitely refer ServiceMaster as choice number one if the case arises.
I had some plumbing damage and the insurance people immediately scheduled service with ServiceMaster Restore. They came out the next day and were professional, respectful and nice. The experience was excellent and I'm very satisfied with ServiceMaster's service.
I had a pipe burst in my basement and it flooded, and my insurance company called ServiceMaster to mitigate the water and dry the basement. The cleanup service was great and the person that helped me out was professional. He was really understanding and he educated me about what’s going on.
We were very impressed with ServiceMaster Restore. They came out because we had a leak in the garage, and they cleaned up the whole mess and dried it out. The scheduling was done by our insurance company and the people that came out were marvelous. They knew what they were doing and did what they were supposed to do, and they were friendly.
We came back from vacation and there was a leak that had been going for about an hour before we got home. We got lucky that the whole house wasn’t flooded but I called my insurance agent to open a claim and he immediately called ServiceMaster. They were at the house within two hours of finding the leak and started the dry-out process. It was a stressful situation but their guys were very calming and helped with it. They did a great job and I was highly satisfied. Also, Service Master answered the phone every time and I was able to get ahold of them 24/7. I had to call them once in the middle of the night because we had a leaking dehumidifier.
ServiceMaster put our kitchen back together after we had our dishwasher spring a leak and ruined the floor. Scheduling for our service was fine. It was just that it began in March, and it had been raining so there were a lot of other customers that wanted their attention also. But ServiceMaster was very efficient as soon as they could get some of the flooring right out.
ServiceMaster Restore came in and assessed what the damage was, wrote it off and sent it to the insurance company. They came back after two days and put all their equipment in there and left it for the whole weekend. They came back and took the carpet out. They were courteous and got the job done. Everything looked good after they had cleaned it up. However, I never heard any result whether or not there was fungal growth in the carpet samples they sent to the insurance company or somewhere they sent it.
I had two different gentlemen who did the service and they were both pretty friendly. They stood around and talked. The first guy was there a couple of hours and he just locked up when he left when I went back to work. I was satisfied with the work and I had a good experience with ServiceMaster Restore. I recommend people to friends when I’m really asked, and if somebody comes to me looking for a company that does a cleanup problem, I’d recommend ServiceMaster Restore.
A neighbor found my house in Arizona flooded and I was not in the state. My insurance company got a hold of ServiceMaster and then ServiceMaster got hold of me right away. The girl who was in-charge treated me well and coordinated everything, including the coordination of the furniture people to get the furniture out. I've seen pictures of how they dried the house out and ServiceMaster did good. It has been resolved and I'm happy.
We had a flood in the basement and ServiceMaster Restore came and cleaned it up. Their rep was very helpful over the phone and she gave me her personal number to call her anytime if I needed anything. The cleanup crew set up quickly and neatly. The service took two days which was expected. Only two techs came during the first day and they brought in extra crew members on the second day. There was a total of about 7 people there. The techs were very professional and they let me know what they were doing. They did a great job and I was satisfied with the service. It's a great experience and I'm glad they're available to do that service.
Not more than a month ago, I had a flooding across the floor and into the basement from my dishwasher. I called ServiceMaster and the rep was to the point. They were very proactive in scheduling. Then they came on site and everything moved rather quickly. They tore up the hybrid floors and the wall downstairs and made sure the moisture was mitigated. The first person who did the inspection was very good then the others came and were extremely busy but very focused on their work. Everyone has been courteous and very professional. They also had some follow-up work for three days throughout the week and everything was good. Out of necessity, the place was worse than before, but at least there is no chance of having mold so I'm happy with that. I'm extremely satisfied with ServiceMaster and I would recommend them.
I had a leak in my kitchen and I went online, ServiceMaster came up along with another service company. I called the other company first, but they never called me back, so I called ServiceMaster. I live a block away from them and I see their trucks all the time at the local deli. Eric, the head guy, came over. I was nervous. My husband had died so it was just me and the kids in the house. But Eric and his 20 men were in our house for a week, did what they were supposed to do and were fantastic. They were a great bunch of guys, polite and considerate. I had a lot of questions and they answered all of them. They finished up and they cleaned up. It was phenomenal and when I see them in the deli, I always say hello to them.
My insurance company said they paid ServiceMaster, but a lady called about not getting their money. They wrote me a letter and I gave them the information to my insurance company. I'm hoping that they got paid because if need them again, I want to them to know that my insurance is going to pay them. Other than that, I'm glad I chose ServiceMaster and I would recommend them to anybody who's got a leak.
We had a flood in the house and it's been about three weeks since everything fell apart. We would have preferred the restoration work done a week ago but I also understand that I'm not the only person on ServiceMaster Restore's list. When the different crews came in, they were very professional and knew what they were doing. The technicians got to work and concentrated on what they were doing. When we had an interaction, it was very personable. They had to restore about half the house and they did their job well. The house was a little better after their work.
ServiceMaster was highly recommended by a friend in a nearby state. I called them after hurricane Irma tore the covering from my roof. Service Master drove by noticing that neighbors had attempted to tarp my roof and assumed they weren't needed. I explained that the tarping was ineffective and they should have covered the roof. It took them a week to 10 days to finally tarp my roof. They have come on three occasions to make repairs to inadequate tarping and still water comes in with every rain. I have heard every excuse in the book for their workers. "It's an almost flat roof. There are irregularities in the roof. The tarp had a manufacturer flaw. They don't construct flat roofs anymore." On and on the excuses went and still I have a faulty covering that will not withstand wind and rain. Three times I've had to cover furniture and buy plastic tubs to catch the water pouring in. I wouldn't recommend Service Master to anyone EVER.
I had water damage on the roof in front of the house which is covered by the homeowner's insurance. We consulted ServiceMaster Restore with a lady named Tracy and she was very helpful. The technicians came out on time, were very knowledgeable, did what needed to be done and got it done correctly. They put the tarp on the roof and it's holding up right now until it would completely be repaired. They also came in and dried up the wooden wall inside the house. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. We were comfortable with them and we were satisfied. We'll call the insurance company if something else happens and we'd be cool with them sending ServiceMaster over again.
A refrigerator water line broke, flooded my kitchen and created molds. Half the kitchen had to be demolished and rebuilt. The plumber who came said it's a bigger job than he could do and recommended ServiceMaster. There was a little bit of miscommunication where I thought ServiceMaster was coming in the morning and they couldn’t because they had another emergency that they had to deal with. But that only happened a couple of times early on and after that everything went smoothly and very prompt.
The kitchen is still gutted now and it could take another month but I've been very satisfied with the work. I was gone for a month after the initial damage and when I came back the house was cleaned up. I was able to carry on without much problem. One of the workers unplugged the refrigerator and forgot to plug it back in though. I had a lot of meat in the freezer spoiled but ServiceMaster is reimbursing me for the cost of everything that was in there and four hours of my time to clean it and shop for the replacement items. That was fair. They were professional, efficient, caring and sensitive to the situation. If anybody would ask me who I used or who they should go to for water damage I would recommend ServiceMaster Restore.
I had a toilet overflow, and Sue scheduled the service with ServiceMaster. She was always there to answer my questions and she was able to give me exactly what I needed when I called. She was a great representative for the company. Also, the fellows who came were professional, polite and explained what they were doing. They removed the toilet and the sink. And the floor was done right up to the toilet by the previous people, so the toilet could not be removed without removing the floor. They also went down into the crawl space and dried out the area that had been wet from the leaking toilet. They completed the job and their performance was very good. Overall, it was expensive but I would recommend ServiceMaster.
ServiceMaster Restore came in a timely manner and started working on repairs. They've done an excellent job but they didn't do a good clean up afterwards and left a lot of screws from the sheetrock on the walls and the insulation cabinets. They said they'd do that when they come back to put the insulation back in the wall and the sheetrock on. There was also some tape from the carpet left on the floor. Josh, the representative at ServiceMaster is doing his best to redo the house and put it back together but he’s having a time getting estimates for someone to go out. He also has to go through Farmers Insurance and I haven’t been able to get a hold of a representative from Farmers in over a week. They're really slow in getting everything back together but they did a pretty thorough job initially.
A couple of months ago, we had some water damage due to a sink that overflowed. ServiceMaster Restore came a couple of times to take care of the situation and they were punctual in getting here. They made sure everything was dried out well and we weren't going to have any mold problems. They had to take up the carpet and some of the molding. They never came back to put the molding back down, but that wasn't hard to do so I just did it myself. They did a good job in a timely manner and, all in all, we had a positive experience with them.
Got a busted pipe under my kitchen floor that was leaking into my split level's lower level. Home Insurance contacted ServiceMaster and they responded same day. Said they'd be out at 4 pm so I left work early to meet them. Well they were nearly an hour late with no heads up call and no apologies when they showed. The guys that showed were actually pretty nice but had to keep calling their supervisor for direction. They kept going back and forth about removing cabinets and finally settled on plugging in huge loud fans overnight. Said they'd be back in the morning at 9 am. But at 8:17 am, got a call that they can make it out to me that day at 3:30 pm. When I said "I took off work today expecting you here at 9 am this morning"... his response was... "Well since you took the whole day off, 3:30 shouldn't be a problem, right?"
I was pretty stunned and when I said I would be letting my Insurance company know of the mishap, he continued with, "Well we get enough business regardless and are very busy..." I opted not to argue and said fine just to end the call. Once I cleared it with my insurance company, I later asked ServiceMaster to move the 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm but ONLY to remove the equipment they already placed in my home. Sounded like they are already too busy and 1 less customer would be no problem.
I did let them know when they showed up that although I was very unhappy with the scheduling mishap on their end... how they handled and responded to me was the actual deal-breaker. It was clear that my time was not of any importance and my business didn't mean much. Now they did show up around 4ish and apologized and asked to start over and continue the job but at that point in time, I was no longer wanting to continue with the company and already had someone else lined up.
I had a very good experience with ServiceMaster Restore and I would highly recommend them. On 8/14 we had a leak in the upstairs bathroom which came down to the ceiling and ended up going to the chandelier, under my good table, my Persian rug, and my wooden floor. We called our insurance company and they set ServiceMaster up. Their team was out here within two hours of the time I called my insurance company which was excellent. The techs were efficient, professional, caring and friendly. They just didn't come in and out. They talked for a few minutes to see how we were doing and that impressed me. They also never left a mess or anything for me to clean up. We were so frustrated that day, but after they left, we felt so much better.
They moved some things and rolled up the carpet and laid it back down, so we could dry it because it was clean water that was on the good rug. I was told about what to expect too. They set up for about 45 minutes and they used a machine to dry and remove the humidity. Their techs also came every day to check and would tell me the time they’re going to come the next day. They also usually called to let me know they were coming.
After about the second day, they realized that the ceiling was still reading high moisture, so they put up plastic barriers on the doors. And those were up for about three more days before everything was dry and good. And then their techs came and cleaned up. We've been in touch with Mark who called and checked up. He came and we had the repainting done on the ceiling which, luckily, had no damage but just watermark. ServiceMaster painted the walls as well. In addition to those, we have another company coming out to take away the dining room table to be refinished and Mark will come and he will take care of the damaged portion of the floor for us. I can't around on my one foot and ServiceMaster was tremendous. They took care of everything and I was pleased.
Our washing machine leaked and the insurance company called ServiceMaster. The people that came in took out some of the floors and then dried it all out. They cleaned up the floor and they were very cautious about not getting dust stuck on it. Also, a fellow came every day to check something out. They always called so we knew exactly what was going on. They did what they were supposed to do and it worked out very well. ServiceMaster's people are really excellent and well-trained.
I strongly, strongly advise against doing any work with ServiceMaster or their affiliate, ServiceMaster Elite. Servicemaster's sales rep came to my home during a house fire before the fire trucks had even left my house, and I signed a contract under duress. Their business model is to rack up as much sub-contracted work as possible, assuming that insurance will pay. Insurance often *does* cover their services, but the services are nearly useless in terms of value.
They scurried around in the days following the fire boxing up contents of my home that were destroyed and had no hope to be repaired -- more than $2,000 worth of work to box up a small number of items I never got back because they didn't make any sense to try and save in the first place. Within days, they'd sub-contracted out to a dozen different vendors, nearly none of whom are local. Their network is like an octopus with tentacles all over -- they ship stuff all over the country, and then different vendors follow up with you for over-the-top charges for months on end.
Their customer service is reprehensible, and they are extremely aggressive. It's been a nightmare from the beginning. I am somebody who's always paid my bills on time, have excellent credit, etc. and they are going after me with attorney's fees, 18% interest charges, and bullying tactics. If I had the time/money/capacity to sue them, I would. I've paid them nearly $10,000 worth of work that has provided zero value to me. Do anything you can to avoid working with them after a fire. I'm happy to talk more about my experience if you private message me to learn more.
The hose for the washing machine wasn't connected and there was a little flood on the main floor of our house and some of it went through to the basement. Our insurance company scheduled the service with ServiceMaster. The technicians they sent were prompt, did their job, and they're very good at what they did.
ServiceMaster Restore was very professional, wonderful, and outstanding. I call to schedule the service and then they come. The rep was prompt, courteous and excellent. The technician came early, explained everything clearly if I had any questions, was helpful, and cleaned up after himself. He also took me into the basement to show me there were bad stains that he got out. He did a good job in cleaning the carpet and there was a huge improvement. I'll use ServiceMaster Restore again.
I really liked ServiceMaster Restore's service and they treated me well. Scheduling the service was good and it was covered by my homeowner's insurance. ServiceMaster Restore and I sat down and figured out what I needed. They were very patient with me. I liked the way the people came in and started removing stuff and there was plenty of space. I was satisfied and I'd recommend them to my friends and family.
The ServiceMaster Restore people were superb and prompt with communication when they were here. They went above and beyond continually and were very conscientious, kind, respectful. I want to definitely give a good shoutout to the leader, Roberto, who was very kind, friendly and thorough. He was mindful and respectful of family activity that was going on because the giant dehumidifiers bothered my daughter’s asthma. They were here a lot longer than expected because it took so long for the floor to dry out. The demo is all done, but we're still in the middle of the claim in looking for our contractors, so it's not finished yet. ServiceMaster was very thorough at finding where the water damage went to. They were very professional and attentive, and I would definitely recommend them to other people.
I had ServiceMaster Restore clean my house after a fire and I was satisfied with their service. It was easy to schedule them for the job. Their men came in and when they said they were going to be here, they were here on time. They were very polite and they did what they're supposed to do. They also left a machine running for a few days to get the smoke out the house. I had a good relationship with them and I was very pleased.
The ServiceMaster out of Bemidji was very prompt, thorough, and helpful. We were in the process of selling the house. Two weeks before it was going to be sold and we’re in the process of moving, the water softener started leaking. My husband and I were out of town. My college daughter and her boyfriend happened to be at home that weekend and found the leak. It had already gone under the wall, and underneath the carpeting in the basement. I thought nobody would be working on a Saturday so I ended up calling ServiceMaster on Monday and they came over right away. They assessed the situation, started blowers going and reduced the amount of damage done to the carpet so that we only had to replace the pad and save the carpet. That was very helpful. They said, “You should have called us when you found it. We would have come right away.” If I called them earlier, they could have gotten some of the water out of there.
Doug, the main guy, answered my phone calls every time I called, even though he and his wife were planning a trip. He was returning my phone calls the day before he flew out. He was very dedicated to the business. After, they also helped me figure out a person to install the pad. They recommended somebody who also came over on a moment’s notice to replace the pad. Then, they came back and cleaned all of the carpets so that it all looked perfect for the new owners. They got a new pad under the carpet and did a great job. I would definitely recommend ServiceMaster.
ServiceMaster Restore is excellent and I like them. Everybody there was very nice and the work they’ve done was great. I had a toilet upstairs that was broken and water was running out continually. That put a hole in the ceiling and flooded my living room and dining room. My carpet was soaked. ServiceMaster came right away and removed my carpet. The only problem I have right now is I need the carpet and ServiceMaster Restore is having a problem with State Farm. State Farm won't agree with their price. Everything’s been fixed, I'm just waiting to have the carpet put on. Still, I'd recommend ServiceMaster Restore to a friend.
My washing machine leaked in the bottom seal and got under the laminate flooring in the laundry room and the kitchen. This was covered by my homeowner's insurance and ServiceMaster Restore did a wonderful job. They brought in two high-powered fans and a dehumidifier. They checked it every day for the three days that it was recommended to be left here. I had to be gone, and so they left a key box outside. When I got home, everything was removed and they did come back and get the key on the day I told them I would return. So, everything went fine. I had a couple of different servicemen and they were both very knowledgeable, courteous, and communicative. I’d rather not have to have their services, but since I needed them, they did an excellent job.
We recently had a fire and we had ServiceMaster Restore come in and clean up. The insurance company called and set everything up. Alex came and did his assessments. So, the next day after the fire happened, there were around 50 people coming over the house. We had ServiceMaster clean the house first because we wanted to know whether they could get the laundry room back to normal right away. Soon as it was okay to do the laundry room, ServiceMaster gathered everything and cleaned up everything real nice. The last thing we're waiting for is somebody to come in and do the insurance company to go, "Okay, we can rebuild." Somebody is also coming in to clean the grout. I am extremely happy with our experience with ServiceMaster.
I was very satisfied with ServiceMaster Restore’s work. We had a small crack in a basement wall that let water in onto the floor. I scheduled for a service with them over the phone. Their rep was very good and was able to answer my questions. Their techs were also very nice and professional all the way around. They guided me through the cleanup process. ServiceMaster cleaned up the concrete floor and they did it well. I had an excellent experience with them.
ServiceMaster Restore was excellent. I find a lot of times when I deal with contractors or companies that they don't always show up on when they say they're going to, but not ServiceMaster. They came when they said they were going to come and they showed up on time. The last time, they came to handle a situation with my unit being flooded. There were mold and other issues and they had to clean it off the walls and the ceiling and the floors. They were great. They did the work quickly and they were very neat and clean. Their reps kept everything contained. I was very impressed with how well they cleaned up. Also, Servicemaster was very informative and available for questions and got right back to me when I had questions. When I called them, they would answer my questions and the gentleman who was doing the work was very accessible.
ServiceMaster Restore was excellent and I love them. They came out a month ago for water damage and the technicians were excellent. Everyone I dealt with was professional and they were very good at what they did. They were the best and I highly recommend ServiceMaster to anybody.
We had a water leak in our basement and so it damaged some drywall and carpeting. ServiceMaster Restore was called out to help mitigate this. When they came out, they first assessed it and then quickly sent out a crew, removed the damaged carpet and drywall and tested for mold. It was very quick and painless. The technicians were very professional and I was extremely satisfied.
ServiceMaster laid down my contents from a fire. Scheduling the service call was good and the workers that came out were good and professional. The two workers, Todd and Dave, were absolutely wonderful and kept me level-headed when I was stressing out. They would talk to me and say, "You know, we do this every day. We've seen it,” and I'm sure they had. I couldn't ask for two better people to help me. But when I tried to get a rep to give me a price on the demo-ing and doing all the construction, I couldn’t get in touch with him. I spoke with a girl named Ashley and she said I would have to talk to a guy named Nathan about it, so I did. However, Nathan wasn't available so I left him a voicemail. I waited one whole week but he never called back. I couldn't wait forever so I had to go with another company.
I have only had one experience with ServiceMaster Restore and that was just last month in my basement. I had a dehumidifier in my basement, and it had an automatic shut-off. It didn't shut off and the water overflowed and ran out on the floor, so they had to tear the floor up. Two lady reps came the first day and took down all the information and wrote them down. Then the install tech, Larry, came the second day to change the dehumidifier with another one. The techs took our wet rug, cleaned it for us and brought it back. They were really nice and they did a wonderful job. I would recommend ServiceMaster Restore to anyone.
Our washer flooded my kitchen and garage so we had to have ServiceMaster over. I got their number from Google, then I called them and scheduled the service which was very easy to do. They had somebody in the area so they came out pretty quickly. The rep who came was awesome. He explained everything that was needed to be done or checked on and what could be the worst possible case so I wouldn’t be surprised that it ended up not being as bad as it could’ve been. We had two different guys checking on things and both of them were awesome. They did a great job and things are now better than before. They got everything out and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
ServiceMaster Restore was absolutely fabulous. My basement flooded and they came the next morning and cleaned up the mess. They guided me and they were professionals. The majority was covered by my homeowner’s insurance. It was better than expected and I’m very satisfied.
There was a leak in the house so I scheduled a service with ServiceMaster Restore. Their reps were very good and professional. They followed up, did what they said they’d do and came when they said they’d come. They were all great and flexible.
We were getting coverage for a water leak that we had and ServiceMaster was prompt, very flexible and fantastic as far as scheduling goes. Their technician Carlos and the owner’s son, Ryan, came and they were both very professional and prompt. They were there when they said they’re going to be there, cleaned up and explained things great. They just did the remediation but they did a great job. They got everything out that was supposed to have gotten out. Our overall experience with ServiceMaster was great.
ServiceMaster Restore came into our home because we had a flood and they were with us for close to two weeks drying out our property. There was really one main representative that was on site with us the entire time and he was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. They had another gentleman who came in towards the end and worked with him. They were very accommodating and very helpful in terms of getting us out of the home and getting our stuff where it needed to be.
I knew and recognized the times that the guys working at our home seemed to be distracted by phone calls coming from their office and being given directives from people in the office who didn’t seem to have a grasp from what was really happening on site. Although they try to mask it for me, it was apparent that there were inherent frustrations for them that they’re working on a very large case in terms of the amount of damage, being given very few people to actually do it with and had to demo my whole home. They were being asked constantly, “Well, when are you going to be done at that site because we need you at a different site?”.
It was obvious that the two guys were being stretched in different directions and they were frustrated by that. I recognize what was going on and I appreciate what they were doing. The guys on the ground who were actually doing the work were amazing. But again, the people in the office didn’t seem to be in touch with what was happening on the ground.
I had to dry out my basement but my sump pump stopped working because the power went out. ServiceMaster Restore came and did it. Scheduling my service was quick considering how many people were affected in our area. I was lucky I didn't have to wait a long time. I called them on a Monday, they came out and gave me an estimate on a Tuesday and started on a Wednesday.
I appreciated Ted's effort. He kept me well-informed, explained everything, gave me an accurate estimate and made sure that everything was done the way that he said it would be done. He came out a lot himself though he wasn't supposed to just to make sure that everything was running the way it was supposed to. The technicians were quiet, did what they came to do, and didn't cause any trouble. Joyce, the representative, was good as well. My basement is dry and I'm 100% satisfied. I got the carpet replaced. There's not a lot of contractors to go around since a lot of people were affected in our area. I'll call them again if I flood next year.
ServiceMaster Restore went through the insurance company. The rep Jon kept me informed on everything and even called me quite a bit to let me know when they were coming or how far they were out. That was nice to know because I had to go down to meet them every time because this was at my parents' house. They came in and removed the mold that was in my mom and dad's bathroom wall. They spent a day and a half there and came back, three days later to remove their equipment, and everything was good. All the mold was gone, and it was ready to go to the next phase. The technicians were all very courteous and very professional.
My insurance agent called and contacted ServiceMaster Restore. Then, I received a call from ServiceMaster and they scheduled the time and that was later that day. They left after midnight. It was a wet carpet and they did a very thorough job of trying to get ahead of the moisture. They admitted they had to return as the padding was soaked. They returned the next day and thoroughly started drying out the carpet. They had pulled the padding out and continued to have about ten fans downstairs. They kept coming back out and checked in to see when it was dried. It took about four days for them to finally remove the equipment. They had a lockbox on my door so they could get in if I wasn't here but they always knock first and I was typically here. My experience was very good. They were prompt, very nice, courteous, professional and thorough.
My most recent experience with ServiceMaster Restore was for a flood in the house. Scheduling their service was excellent. They were there within the hour and got right on the job, sucking the water out of the floor and carpet. They were top-notch and everything was great. The service was through the insurance, so the insurance took care of everything on that side of it. The techs were very good and they knew their job. They got in promptly and got it done. They were real professional.
There was an ice-maker line that failed and ServiceMaster did the drying and then the demo at my mom’s house floor. Everything was good. The guy was great but there was one little thing and it was underneath the sink in the counter that they had to take apart. They’re waiting for the result but they cropped up the Corian counter. It’s my mom’s place and she’s 77 with dementia and Alzheimer’s, early but still, she forgets.
The guys said “Don’t lean on the counter,” and my mom was not remembering that. The two-by-four with the wedge that they had leaning up to one side of the counter was sliding. To me, it wasn’t really supporting the countertop and so, I went and had my neighbor who deals with wooden stuff, which I told the insurance about, come over and we placed a better brace on the side of it and also drilled it, screwed it into a stud of the open wall so it’s not going anywhere. So my only suggestion for them is for someone putting a stud there. Having them put it in place and not work at a slide or fall off or fall would be a smart move just for future. I didn’t call ServiceMaster and I went over to my neighbor asking them to help me since I’m not going to wait for anyone.
The technicians were totally awesome and professional. I’m not a construction person but it’s pretty rickety upon seeing that and I didn’t think much of it until I saw it sliding or until it was crooked. I could kick it and it’d fall. The counter didn’t but had I not had someone else come help do a better brace on it, outside the scope of all this, it could have and I’d hate for it to fall and hurt them so as a safety aspect and just taking consideration of my mom and her roommate who helps take care of her and who were both in their later 70’s. If something happens then it’s not going to be good. But other than that, everything was great and nice.
Our pipe burst and ServiceMaster reps came in and checked if the moisture level was normal. It was easy to schedule them but there wasn’t much else that they did. They were also very helpful and I appreciate that. Overall, our experience with Service Master Restore was fine. They were professional and efficient.
There's water in my bedroom. I got in touch with ServiceMaster Restore to get it cleaned up and they were very responsive in a timely manner. I emailed the guy and he sent me all the paperwork that I needed to submit to my condo association. It's easy setting up an appointment with them and they came out overnight. They pulled up the carpet a little bit and dried everything out for a few days with a fan. I didn't have any issues with them and I was very satisfied. I had a bad experience with another company a few months ago so, hands down to ServiceMaster Restore. They did much better.
Our basement flooded from a bad rainstorm and we were able to get ServiceMaster Restore out here quickly. They pulled up our carpet, some of the baseboards and some of the vinyl flooring that we had downstairs. Scheduling the service was easy. They called us a couple of times and when we called back to schedule an appointment, they were perfectly fine. Their service was excellent. Everything was cleaned up and moved into the middle of the room. All the carpet was pulled up although they left the carpet on the stairs otherwise, we would have poked our feet with the carpet nail. We appreciated that and it was great. We had ServiceMaster Restore out here twice and both times were for a flooded basement. Our experience was excellent in both times and I would definitely recommend them.
We had a minor flood and it was covered by our homeowner’s insurance so we scheduled a service with ServiceMaster. Their service and technicians were really good and the experience was easy.
My uncle passed away last year and I had to deal with fully renovating his apartment as I was the executor of his estate. He was very sickly and a bit of a hoarder and his apartment was an absolute disaster. ServiceMaster Restore helped me through the process of cleaning. When they noticed there was some mold, they helped me with my insurance claim and discussed all of my options with me.
I have a wonderful experience with ServiceMaster. They accommodated me and pretty much walked me through step-by-step everything that had to be done and helped me make decisions of return on investments since we're planning on putting it on the market. They provided guidance but didn't try to influence me. I have to single out Martha who was the person that answered the phone most of the time when I call. She was always available and if not she calls me back immediately. I felt like I had a point of contact to send me to the right place and person. When their job was finished I was totally satisfied. The apartment now looked like a showroom. It was immaculate. I would have spent a lot more money and would be a lot less satisfied if I didn't have them to help me.
When I scheduled a service with ServiceMaster Restore, they came out right away, got here on time and cleared up the order which I liked. They took care of everything and did what they’re supposed to do. Then they got paid and left. The service was good but I don’t want them in my house anymore because they didn’t put anything back like they should. I don’t care if they took out one piece of board, which they did. Still, they should’ve put everything back that they took out. There were walls, carpet and floor removed which I have to live with and use every day. I still haven’t gotten my house back together and I have to watch out where I sit. So I’m totally dissatisfied with ServiceMaster.
The lady that came out was nice and very explanatory. She told me that she had an estimate for me but she never called or came back to see how much they’re going to charge to put everything back. At the price that they charged, they should’ve put everything back. I could’ve done the same thing and charge whatever they charged. They could’ve told me their fees upfront and I wouldn’t have gotten them. I only knew it afterward. Other than that, there was a big mix-up on my insurance claim and apparently, I had a different insurance.
I’m in customer care and I was very impressed with how ServiceMaster Restore runs their business. I’ve had a couple of experiences with regards to our house and they showed up when they said they’re going to show up and treated our house with respect. The first service came out to remove the damaged areas of the house. They're two gentlemen, Dennis and his son, who were incredibly professional and very fast. They set up the fans and arranged everything so we were still able to walk from one end of the house to the other without tripping over anything.
Then another service, led by a very respectful gentleman named Jose, came out to do the box out and storage. They were like a little army that very efficiently removed all the furniture, packed everything up, and labeled all the boxes. I realized I had to come back and sign out when they finished and I noticed that they shouldn't have boxed up a closet. They were told to box everything in the room and the closet was part of it so it wasn't their fault. I ran down the street, waved my arms, and yelled at them to come back but the truck had already gone. Jose got the truck back and took off the boxes then they inventoried everything. It was very easy. They were willing to unpack it but I told them that I'd do it since it was my error and I wasn't clear that the closet was not going. The same group will be back on the 11th to put everything back and our satisfaction is at 100% so far. I am absolutely ecstatic with their service and I would definitely recommend them.
ServiceMaster Restore came when we had a flood under the house and in the bathroom in our mobile home. They removed the wet insulation, the wet vapor barrier, our vanette and portable floor. They were excellent and very professional. If we ask them to be here at 11:00, they are here at 11:00 on the dot. Plus, they came back every day to make sure that everything was drying out properly. They were great and absolutely amazing. We were so pleased with them that they’re coming back next week to do the renovation for us. Also, we’ve already recommended them to people.
We moved out of our house in March last year and into a new house. We wanted to get the old house remodeled to get it on the market to sell. In January or February, we got a contractor in and had every interior door replaced, all the door trim, all baseboard, all new carpeting, top to bottom, and new vinyl floors. Our real estate agent was very impressed, went ahead and listed the house for sale at a price that’s higher than any other townhouse unit in that development that ever been listed before. She posted it online on Thursday and we were really excited. A couple wanted to come see the house on Friday evening and at about 8:00 in the morning on Friday, we got a call from the next door neighbor saying we got water pouring out on our garage door.
The two cartridge filter systems under our kitchen sink came apart and ran water in the kitchen cabinet, across the floor, underneath the cabinets, out underneath the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room into the dining room area under a brand new carpet. It also followed the opening or the hole through the floor down into the garage, for the drain pipes and the sink. The water went down through there, into the ceiling of the garage and got into the ductwork for the furnace. It followed the ductwork into the game room and the laundry room and flooded those as well. We discovered that about 8:00 o’clock in the morning and talked to our insurance agent and he rattled off some names of some companies and said to call one of them right away to get them in. I called ServiceMaster and they had somebody out by 1:00 or 1:30 in the afternoon. Within another 45 minutes, there were a total of four vans and eight guys out.
The crew was very professional, polite, and answered questions. They began ripping things apart that were damaged and soaked and bagging it up and taking it out. When they came back, they swept up quite a bit of stuff to set it up for the next phase of work. I was impressed when they took their time in taking off all of the casing, door trim, and brand new baseboard moldings so that these were not damaged. What was even more impressive was they took the time to pull the nails out, so there weren’t any boards lying around in the house with nails for somebody to trample on. Even in the garage, they put down sheets of plastic, so when they started ripping down the drywall ceiling, the chunks of drywall didn’t get wet on the cement floor and stick to it.
When they cut out sections of drywall, they took the time to measure, mark and cut a very straight line, so that when somebody came back in to do the repairs, they can take a 4x8 sheet of plywood and cut it in half lengthwise and not have oddball size pieces of material in waste and leftover. By 5:30, they had all those damaged materials, drywall, insulation removed. They had a multitude of blowers, fans and dehumidifiers set up in the house to start drying things out. Everything ran for the remainder of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On Tuesday, they came over to get all the equipment and check everything for moisture. They’re relatively quick. They found one little place that was beyond the safe measurements and they ended up cutting some more drywall out. I put a little household fan blowing on that area to dry it out. They also went around and sprayed the antimicrobial spray on things and did a good job.
I was very impressed with how fast they worked and everybody who came immediately started doing something. They all knew what had to be done and did it, which was refreshing to see. When the water went down through the kitchen sink into the basement, it went through the floor. There’s an oriented strand board, the structural flooring and then there was the one plywood on top of that and the final floor on top of that. ServiceMaster couldn’t rip that up to find out whether moisture was in there or not and my insurance company is dragging their feet. I was a little shocked when I got the bill, but there’s a price to pay for how fast they responded, got in and took care of the damage before it can create any kind of mold. Everybody that I’ve talked to didn’t think that that was a bad price for what they've accomplished.
ServiceMaster Restore came out to the house almost a month ago. They took care of my water damages, got all the water out and placed dryers and then they dried my walls up. They took my stuff out and they got rid of the flooring that they needed to take out for me. Everything was great. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. I didn’t do anything. Their interns did it all for me. If I ever have a problem, I would use them again. I'd recommend them.
My water heater leaked and ServiceMaster was out the next day. The tech came out to take a look to tell me exactly what the process would be. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure. He was also very friendly and timely. I felt at ease. For about the next four days, folks came regularly to start the drying process. Everything was fantastic and amazing. The house is back in its usual state. We're clean and the odor is gone. I'm 100% satisfied.
We went on vacation. We came home and the water line to the refrigerator, to the ice machine burst so, our whole kitchen and everything was all flooded. We got in touch with ServiceMaster Restore, they called us and asked if they can come out right away. It was our first time to use them and they were really good, very professional and really nice. They came and took care of everything right away. They checked all the wet spots and they pulled up all the wet flooring. They put all the fans out, the dehumidifiers, to make sure everything was getting dry. They came in every day and checked everything out to make sure it was dry before they pulled all the fans and stuff. It took almost seven days to do the job and I had a great satisfaction with their service.
I needed to have mold remediation done before a claim could be filed with my homeowner's insurance so I contacted ServiceMaster Restore myself and they were excellent. They answered my questions and kept me up to date on what they were doing so I was very pleased. Everybody that I had contact with were very prompt in answering my calls and they were very courteous.
Before coming into my home, the contractors always asked permission and I haven't seen that kind of respect and courtesy in a long time. They did a very nice job too. The mold remediation was quite extensive and it took a little longer than any of us thought it was going to take, but they were very thorough and they did not stop until it had met their standards, which I was very happy with. I would definitely utilize and recommend them to anyone else if a situation came up again.
We had a water damage regarding the water and heating system. ServiceMaster came here to do the demolition part and they also did the moving in and the moving out stuff. Everything proceeded as we scheduled. It was my first time having a house and they responded to my questions in a good way. Things had been here a long time so everything was old, but we got the new water heating system. Everything got replaced by the new ones so everything's better. However, we had five dryer machines on for almost ten days. It was a little bit longer than we expected. The floor had been dried way before that so that was still a little bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect. The bottom line is, our house got better.
The water heater on the second floor had leaked partially into our unit. Since ServiceMaster Restore was covered under my homeowner’s insurance, they were prompt at coming when the emergency came. The ServiceMaster representative who had scheduled the service was the first one on site and said he'd have a crew the very next day. The technicians who came mitigated the problem by putting sandbags and marking the sheetrock areas. They were clean, quick, and professional. They also took out the damaged sheetrock after doing some work in the unit downstairs. I could give them a 9.5 out of 10 and recommend them.
We had a dishwasher leak that went through the ceiling of the basement and puddled up in the basement. The insurance company called ServiceMaster Restore and in less than an hour and a half from whe
