What is FIMC?

FIMC’s membership plans are designed to help cover some out-of-pocket expenses you may have to pay in a covered event, like a deductible or co-pay. Plans like Auto Hero Plus and Home Hero supplement a traditional home or auto insurance policy. You can sign up for a plan online and cancel anytime without penalty. FIMC provides a convenient online claims process and states that 100% of claims are resolved within 30 days.

FIMC services

FIMC offers three plans: Auto Hero Plus, Home Hero and Pet Hero. Prices are a flat rate per month, regardless of the circumstances. For example, you’ll pay $17.99 a month for Pet Hero, no matter the pet’s breed or size. Auto Hero Plus and Home Hero also have set prices without regard to the home or vehicle’s value. There’s a small discount for annual payments.

With an Auto Hero Plus plan, you can add multiple family members to your policy without increasing monthly costs. Pet Hero plans also allow for multiple pets under the same policy.

Features of these plans include:

FIMC FAQ

Is Auto Hero Plus an auto insurance plan?

No, Auto Hero Plus is not an auto insurance policy. It’s a supplemental policy that you can purchase in addition to auto insurance. An Auto Hero Plus plan can help pay for expenses your insurance policy typically won’t cover. It serves as an alternative to traditional auto warranties.

Is Home Hero a home insurance plan?

No, Home Hero is not a home insurance plan. You’ll still need a homeowners insurance policy to cover damages caused by catastrophic events like fires and storms. A Home Hero plan can help cover other incidental expenses like locksmith fees, whether you’re a renter or a homeowner.

Is Pet Hero a pet insurance plan?

No, Pet Hero is not technically a pet insurance plan. It may not cover as many medical expenses as a traditional pet insurance policy. For example, Pet Hero doesn’t reimburse claims for wellness visits (though it offers free 24/7 virtual care). Other pet insurance policies may cover most or all of the costs associated with annual exams and vaccinations.
