I keep my ADT Medical Alert charged just in case. The last time I tested it some months ago, ADT called to check it out. I did walk outside when they called to check. At that point, I could hear them and they could hear me. I asked them where I was and they told me where because I was wondering if it was even giving a signal.
It is very rare that I use the device unless I'm going somewhere with my purse. For some reason, I haven't really trusted the smaller device but at least I know that there's a mic on the larger one. I just don't like it around my neck 'cause it's too bulky. I don't mind it when I'm out in my yard 'cause I will just put it on a belt and put the case around on a belt loop. ADT should make their Medical Alert device more comfortable where I can carry the device with me and I wouldn't have to go in my purse because if somebody snatches my purse, the device is gone too. I would definitely have it every day whenever I go and wear it if it has a little more discreet design.
The two people we talked to when we got the ADT Medical Alert device were helpful and gracious. My husband had the device on the other night when he was sleeping and he had it the wrong way. It went off just the way it's supposed to and we took care of it. The quality is wonderful.
I'm 90 years old and I live alone. I've got bad hips. My son was concerned about me. So, he arranged for me to have an ADT Medical Alert. I'm wearing the bands on my wrist like I'm supposed to.
I was living alone so I got the ADT Medical Alert device. I've had this system for four years now. They have a test once a month here on it and it's good.
The button fits fine in our lifestyle. I've had a fine experience with their team.
I'm gonna send it back. I can't get the hang of it. The thing hangs on my neck and I'm locked in when I'm in a workshop. I carry things around. It would always get in my way. I don't want to bend over the table saw and it gets cut up in the saw. I just can't get used to having it. It's probably good for some people, but definitely not for me.
We've had the ADT Medical Alert for a while now. We've put it in my mother's condo because she still lives alone. It’s there just in case of emergency. Every once in a while, she bumps the device or sometimes, the battery goes low and the guys from ADT Medical Alert are quick to call. We’re thankful for that. If anything ever does happen and she needs it, she knows that it’s pretty reliable.
ADT sends us new things when they need to. They have this new program where the ADT person calls on a day just to check in on the person and have a conversation with them. I set it up for Friday. It’s nice, especially if the person doesn't have a lot of people to talk to. So it’s more than just a medical alert system. People really care and they're checking on the well-being of the person.
I enjoy talking with them when they call me. The person that calls me is a very nice person. I look forward to him calling me every week. I've had a very pleasing experience with them.
My ADT Medical Alert is going fine. I keep it close with me all the time and it gives me a little more confidence. One time, I forgot to put it in the charger and they called. They let me know that the battery was down. I'm satisfied.
I had the necklace first and then, I got the other one that I can take out into the world with me. I can go anywhere and get checked anytime. The team has been nice to me and when I mistakenly push the button by accident, they don’t get irritated or upset. They’re kind and I appreciate that. They are all so helpful to me and I feel safe. If it rang too long, I would tell them and they might say they would check my battery.
With the system that I have, it switches over to battery when the power goes out. It's worth the $10 more a month. Although the necklace that I wear is very sensitive. It goes off nearly every day. You have to quickly hit the button, hold it down, and it beep-beeps, and it's canceled. That's the only thing I've had to get used to. It's got to be sensitive so that when you fall, then it tells them that you fell. I have a call every week from ADT to see how everything's going. So that's good.
The ADT Medical Alert device is still working so it’s okay. I’ve tested it and there’s no complaint. The response took a little while but it wasn’t that long.
Their team was okay. However, I've got two of those systems here and they just did not work. We could not get any reception on them. I called them and they told me to just send it back if it wasn't working. But it's not their fault that nothing was working.
I'm pleased with it. This morning, I attempted to go out the door that I forgot I was protected by ADT. All the bells and whistles went off. But I was able to enter my passcode correctly. I've been satisfied.
I am getting old and the device offered the fall alarm thing. I had it tested the other day and it's working fine. The response was quick. The first time I did the testing, the light came on the machine to test it. So I pressed that and then someone came on and talked to me and said to hang up off my phone and use the button. So I used the button and it came and I spoke with the rep. Then it said it was a good test.
I'm feeling a little hard of hearing and so my family decided to get ADT Medical Alert. It works fine and I don't notice a difference since having it.
Hello Patrick, Thank you for joining the ADT family! We're glad to hear the system is working for you. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us at 1.800.568.1216.
I'm really happy with them. Someone calls me up and checks to see if I'm okay. I don't really need that service because I live with my brother. But if I lived alone, that would be a lifesaver. Their reps are very friendly. You get to feel like you know them. I've had an excellent experience. They contact me if there's any loss of connection between my device and their office, so I know I'm always covered.
The time that I accidentally set the device off, the people responded immediately. It was good.
The device fits well. They call me monthly to test it. It's been a wonderful experience.
I feel very protected when I'm alone because I have ADT Medical Alert. I like the idea that when I go outside and take the unit, I'm covered no matter where I go. I know somebody will be there if I need help. When I accidentally hit it, the team was very understanding.
I carry the device with me wherever I go. I have more security that in case I do have an accident, there's someone there to help me. Their reps are all wonderful people. I haven't run into anybody who's even slightly grumpy. The only drawback is that sometimes, it takes a while to get them on the phone. I'd call them and it would say, "Call in progress." Sometimes it'll do it 10 times and by that time, I could have been dead already. But other than that, ADT gives me security and well-being.
When I forgot to charge my medical alert device, ADT called to tell me it needed to be charged and their reps were good. But I don't care about this strap and I will get something I like that looks better.
I've been more independent since having the device. I also feel comfortable walking alone. I'm enjoying my pendant that I have. Everything is okay. It's great to have. People would be more relaxed if they had it.
ADT Medical Alert's team is easy to deal with. They're nice people. They gave me a good product. We've tested it a couple of times and it works.
