I've had a good experience with Zurich. They are one of the better warranty companies. We had some issues with my husband's car not that long ago. We had the alternator go in it, but that was the first issue we've had with his car. I also took my car to the dealer and they handled everything. They said it was the fuel pump. The only issue that I had was when I bought my car, I bought a tire and rim protection with my car along with the extended warranty. And when my tire went flat, I took it to the dealer and the rep said, "Your warranties aren't popping up." So I don't know if that's necessarily an issue on Zurich or if it's something to do with the dealership's computer. When I bought my car, the dealership pointed out the warranties for me. Because they put everything on a flash drive, but the warranties, he printed out. Luckily, I had the printed version in my car. And he called Zurich to make sure it would be covered, and it was fine.

The first time I used Zurich, there was something wrong in the motor that shifted the gears. The second time, there was something wrong with the valve that would force the gas into the engine. I've never had any issues while using it. I just had to make sure that I went to an AAA Ford dealership. I just gave them the phone number. They know what Zurich is and they're good. They always told me that it could take a couple of weeks for me to get my car back because of the payment processing, but I've never had it gone for more than two days. Zurich is quick on getting the payments to the dealership so the car can be released. I made a call to Zurich and they had the funds for them in 45 minutes while I was waiting at the dealership. The nicest part was that I was able to tag it to the loan. I added a few months to my payment, but that way, I didn't have to worry too much about having a cushion for those major repairs. I could just have enough for the deductible and from there, I know I am gonna be okay if anything went wrong.
I live in Chicopee. And I got the flat in Holyoke. So, I’ve had to put a donut on and take that tire off, put the donut on. I drove to Rucki’s which is a tire company that I always deal with to buy tires. And I brought it there. So, they ordered me the tire, put it on later in the afternoon. I didn't realize that when I called Lia Toyota in Boston Road in Wilbraham, they told me that I had Zurich and that I could go to anybody and they would just put a claim in, or I could go to any Toyota dealer. I would have went to West Springfield, which was closer to the Toyota dealer. I've already had to buy three new tires. So, Zurich has paid for itself. At 300 a tire, that was $900. I paid $998 for the contract. And it's good until 2025.
The reps from Zurich have been great so far. My tire keeps going flat and my car was pulling. So, I did an alignment but the car was still pulling. I was told my rim was cracked and I told the guys fixing it to replace it. They said they can’t and they would try to weld it. I told them to do what they gotta do. They welded it and then, a few days later, my tire pressure light went off again. I have all brand-new tires and they're saying that there's something up with the crack. They keep just fixing the cracks and I'm not happy about that because they won't replace my rim. It's still just a fixed crack. It's a little better but I don't like knowing that I'm driving a $120,000 car with a welded rim. I bought a protection and I want a replacement rim. But if fixing is the same as replacing, then I'm okay with it. For my situation for the BMW that I drive, Zurich is 100% worth it. I don't know any of my friends or constituents that buy these cars without a protection plan.
Getting a service done through Zurich was not hard. The dealership took care of it and they resolved the issue in a couple of days.
With Zurich my tire claim cost me nothing out of pocket. They are awesome. My tire was replaced. Subaru did everything for me, so I didn't have to deal with them at all. Everything was great.
I took the car in and had the service done. It was a very good experience.
I used Zurich twice for both of our tires that had holes in them. The claim was very smooth and everything went through easily. I got my tires in and out very quickly.
I've got Zurich on my 2019 RAM. They did a repair on the electrical system on it. The tail lights weren't working. The dealership did the claims process, and I didn't have to pay anything.
I couldn't close the window of my car. I told the dealership that I have an extended warranty from Zurich and they looked it up. The repair was covered and I didn't pay out of my pocket. But if I didn't have the extended coverage, I would have had to pay $200. Also, the claims process was quick and everything was great. As long as I have a coverage, I will have no problems with the car.
When I went to get my tires, the service advisor had a hard time getting Zurich to approve it, even though I paid for that. It was weeks that he had to wait for them to get paid. But they paid for my tire.
The dealership took care of the claim. They did a great job. Zurich was very efficient.
My experience with them has been perfect. I've had problems with some tires and they have worked directly with the tire repair shops. I haven't had to do anything and just drove away in my car after everything was done. Zurich was helpful and the reps had a very strong willingness to help out. They worked me to a solution. It was seamless and very easy.
I used the warranty to replace one of my tires. It was very quick and easy. The dealership sent the claim and Zurich let them know how much they would cover based on how many miles I had put on the tire since getting it replaced the previous time. I also had to replace the rim and Zurich had the dealer send pictures of the damage. They covered what they could. Having them is more cost-effective.
Not resolves problem, for smaller complain they are unable to send mobile technician and Toyota dealership is co-operating but seems its taking longer time and not sure when issue will be resolved. Seems like Zurich shield plan is completely waste of money.
Setting up my warranty was smooth. The sales rep walked me through everything. I had a claim, and even though I haven't dealt anything with them, the fact that I didn't have to was great. It still took care of everything, and I had no charge there.
I had brand new tires on my 2019 Honda and they were about a month old. But I picked up a broken steak knife in my tire and it ruined it. I had a warranty on the tires, so the Honda dealership replaced the tire very quickly and to my satisfaction. Zurich totally covered it and everything was fantastic.
I kept losing air from my tires and I noticed nails were in. I called Zurich and the person that I talked to was very helpful and explained everything to me. Even though I had everything in front of me, every question that I asked was explained to me. It was like a breath of fresh air. Then, I went ahead and set up my appointment to get my tires replaced. The only thing was when I went to get my tires, I had to wait because they didn't have the ones that I needed for my car. Other than that, I'm very happy and pleased with Zurich and when the time comes for me to renew, hopefully, I can renew my extended warranty.
I had to have a sensor put in and it was covered. I just had to pay my deductible. The service department took care of everything. So far, so good.
I used them once and it was good. We had a flat tire and we called. They sent out a tow truck and the guy put on the tire and then we were able to go to replace the tire. It was nice that they came out right away, especially on Christmas day.
Whenever I had to use the service, it was great. It also covered exactly what they said it would.
I had a recent claim for my key fob. The doors weren't unlocking. It was simple and it was prompt to get it fixed.
I had an air conditioner repair for the blower motor. It took a little while to get it done, so the dealership gave me a rental. The claim experience was fine. It was covered under warranty, so there wasn't anything that I had to do on my part.
I had a very large hole in the tire. It went completely flat. I tried using the seal, but it wouldn't seal because the hole was too big. I filed a claim and the app worked well. I didn't have to do very much. They kept in contact with me so I was very happy. Zurich has paid for itself.
I had an issue with the wiring harness that speaks to the front differential that controls the four-wheel drive. There were some bad connections that the dealer mechanics tried to repair a couple times, unsuccessfully. Ultimately, they replaced the wiring harness completely. All of which was covered by Zurich very easily with no problems or pushback from them. It was easy for the dealer to deal with them but it was annoying that it took three times to finally replace the wiring harness.
Getting Zurich was definitely worth it. I went into the dealership and changed my tires out. They were flat.

I got Zurich when I got a brand-new vehicle and when the car was being repaired, the mechanics at the dealership handled it all. I didn't pay for anything.
I took my car in to the dealership when I had a flat tire. They changed it. They washed my car and did everything else. There was no money out of my pocket.
I had low tire pressure and it turned out that I had a flat. I took it directly to the dealer and they helped me out, and Zurich covered everything else.
Zurich's service has been okay. I've had to go to the dealer to get work done because I've noticed that smaller businesses do not want to deal with Zurich because they said that they don't pay in a timely fashion. So, I've had to handle my transactions at the dealer. It would be nice to be able to go somewhere more local but apparently, their reputation is bad with those businesses.
