What is Pacific Specialty home insurance?

  • Traditional homeowners insurance: In the event of a total loss, Pacific Specialty’s homeowners insurance offers extended replacement cost coverage above the dwelling limit to make sure you have enough to rebuild. The policy also pays for living expenses while your home is being repaired.

    I cannot recommend Pacific Specialty enough. They gained my trust as a great company throughout several years of being my homeowners' insurance. The handling of my first claim (ever) this past holiday season... elevated that description to extraordinary. Melissa ** patiently spent innumerate hours to guide me in understanding the numbers, promptly responding to messages, thoughtfully and effectively advising me in navigating each step. Catherine **, while delivering prompt responses, also took a very proactive approach, with an optimistic attitude (similar to Melissa's) and made me feel better about my situation. I think there is no other way to thank them, besides sharing my experience and gratitude with other homeowners. This company has diligent, gracious, and knowledgeable people, who treat customers with high regard.

    I have Renter’s Insurance and do everything on-line. I wasn’t able to find my current Policy. Things got complicated as my Policy is in a new system that my iPad doesn’t have. Jill ** did her best to get me up to speed, but the old iPad didn’t cooperate. She very patiently tried one thing after another with still no luck. Finally she asked me what it was I needed, as I was not reporting a claim. I just needed to be able to get a paper copy so I could get a DMV Real ID. “Oh,” she said. “I can email a copy!” She stayed with me until we were sure I had it and could print it! I’m 77 and tech challenged, so it was wonderful that she was so patient and understanding! Thank you, Jill!

      I had a really great experience working with Edyanet **. My issue took a long time to research, and while I was on hold I could tell she was actively working on it. She kept coming back to reassure me, which helped a lot with my anxiety and made me confident it would actually get resolved. What impressed me most was her follow-through. She even called me back about 15 minutes before her shift ended to continue helping me. She also walked through the website with me in real time, searched my name with me, and made sure we checked everything properly so I could get the refund check I was entitled to. She was patient, thorough, and genuinely committed to helping. It felt like she cared about finishing the problem instead of just finishing the call. Excellent customer service.

      We recently switched our Homeowners Insurance to Pacific Specialty from Progressive, primarily due to cost. We found the underwriting process and the startup of coverage to be a simple and pain-free experience. Better than other companies that we have used over the years. We encountered an issue with our mortgage company related to the inclusion of Pacific Specialty as additional insured that our agent failed to complete. One conversation with Jill **, our Pacific Concierge Representative, resolved the issue in a very professional manner. We are extremely pleased that we made the switch to Pacific Specialty and look forward to a lasting relationship with them.

      Jill in Customer service was very helpful. She walked me through logging in so I could print the dec pages on my rental for the mortgage company. Every time I call they handle my questions with competence and ease. They also assist with my CA Fair Plan policy. I would recommend.
