Samsung washers are available online and at major retailers and home improvement stores, including Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Sears.

  • activewash
  • Steam-washing technology

Samsung washing machine price

Samsung washers start at $600 and can cost up to $1,900. Front-load washers cost more than top-load washers, and adding certain features, such as Wi-Fi capability or vibration-reduction technology, increases the final cost of the appliance. Samsung Washers FAQ

How long do Samsung washing machines last?

With proper maintenance, a Samsung washing machine can last up to 15 years. Washing machines that are used more frequently than average, however, may not last as long as expected.

What Samsung washers have been recalled?

Samsung recalled 34 models of high-efficiency, top-loading washers sold between March 2011 and November 2016. You can view a full list of the affected models and what to do next on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website.

How long is the Samsung washing machine warranty?

Samsung includes a 24-month warranty on all washers. You can also purchase an extended warranty that covers the repair or replacement of your appliance for an additional one to five years.

How does Samsung front load washer work?

Front-load washers fill the bottom of the inner tub with water and use the side paddles and rotational spinning to lift the clothes in and out of the water, which removes dirt and stains from fabric. Many people prefer front-load washers, though they do tend to be heavier, noisier and more expensive.

Are Samsung Washers good?

The features and functions of Samsung washers make the company a popular choice in the industry. With options to pretreat, steam and speed wash clothes, you can spend less time doing laundry. A limited number of Samsung washing machine models have been recalled, but overall, we recommend Samsung washers because they are energy-efficient, reliable and can last up to 15 years.

I bought the most expensive washer from Samsung and it broke down within a month. It took them one month to replace that washer so during that time you will have to do your laundry outside as they don't care. 1 year later it broke down again and they are not even honoring the extended warranty. Please avoid buying Samsung home appliances. They may be good in making television and phone but not home appliances.

Purchased my 2nd Samsung Washer less than 2 years ago. Had to replace the suspension kit already - should not happen on a young machine. Provided all the details: receipts, proof of purchase, of repair and the "extended warranty" proof... Many, in fact too many emails later Samsung refuses to acknowledge the fault or back me up in the slightest way. It's the last time I invest hard earned money in a Samsung product.

New washer less than 6 mos. old. 4 Service repair people come and neither have the right part. It's been over a month so I finally ask for a refund. Have to go through so many steps, which I've done and still haven't received my money. Now I got to wait another 2 weeks. They have the receipt, serial number and model but still holding to my money. Samsung is joke. They want your money but when they sell you a bad product you have to wait and wait to get a refund.

For the last 3-4 years I have owned a Samsung Washer and Dryer. Top loading washer and steam dryer...Spent a ridiculous amount of money on the set from Lowes - over $2K. It is by far the worst purchase I have ever made in my life and by far the worst purchase I ever made from Samsung. Since having these units, doing the laundry has been a nightmare. The top loader doesn't allow me to control water levels so most of the time the clothes do not get properly washed, nor can I soak clothing with a prewash; the agitation and spin tie your clothing into knots so when you pull them from the machine they are ridiculously wrinkled and hard to smooth out...and debris remains in the bottom of the machine so that it can attach to other loads of laundry. I rue the day I purchased these units!

The dryer is not any better. It also ties things up in knots and therefore does not dry the clothing. So that energy efficiency you are looking for....doesn't exist because you have to dry the clothing for HOURS. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for selling these products and should have refunded every unit they sold where people were unhappy. Instead, they made the warranty on this so small and the service to fix ridiculously expensive. My problem now is that I have such a strong negative feeling about this purchase - I'm less interested in purchasing other items from them anymore...including my phone, laptops, TVs.

Looking at this website, two things come to mind. 1) Doesn't seem like they have Samsung Washer and Dryer as an option? Why? Did they stop selling them? and 2) The reviews that have been put up about their washers and dryers show 41% of individuals gave it a 1 star Rating...and this person concurs. If I could give 0 stars that would be my rating. I feel so strongly about this that every time I do my laundry...I am inclined to post another negative review on whichever site is providing reviews on these products so that other people do not end up in the same place as I.

SAMSUNG WASHER item #1501524 Model #Wf45R6100AP will only last less than 2 years and then it will basically fall apart and become damaged to the point where it is beyond repair. There is definitely a manufacturer defect issue going on with these washers. DO YOUR RESEARCH. LOTS OF REVIEWS. We paid $699 and now have to buy a new washer because it is "OUT OF WARRANTY" conveniently! SAMSUNG IS A BAD BRAND FOR WASHERS!!! DO NOT BUY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

The lettering on my Samsung washer disappeared after year 2. I called the company in year 1 because it was fading and I couldn't understand why. I called the company to ask about the ink and they said no one ever complained about it. Interestingly, the representative said that the same thing happened to her and she wrote in the words!! You need the control panel lettering to operate machine and the quality of the ink was poor. They refused to replace and wanted me to pay almost 400 dollars to replace whole panel. Nonsense. I will never buy from them again.

Purchased Jan 23. Machine does not balance loads even after you rearrange. Gave error code 9c8 so I called Samsung which put me in touch with repair shop. Waited 9 days only for repairman to cancel car broke down. Now I have to wait another 10 days to get it fixed. I would not recommend this machine to anyone. Water level not enough to clean clothes or sheets. Constantly unbalanced. This was a thousand dollar machine that needed repaired in 6 months.

I bought a Samsung top loading washing machine from Home Depot not quite 6 weeks ago. Each time I wash a load, an error code pops up, it starts making a racket like it’s about to completely break down, and the washing machine has to be reset on a different wash cycle. Even then, I have to keep an eye on it in case it glitches again. I’ve gone in several times thinking it was finished washing only to find it blinking and carrying on—completely stuck. It doesn’t matter what the load size or which cycle you set it on.

Another complaint is that a “short cycle” on this machine is 45 minutes; “normal” is 1 hour and 15 minutes. My other washing machine’s normal cycle was 45, while the short cycle was 19 minutes. This one obviously uses way more electricity than my previous one. It’s Junk. I’m very dissatisfied. I spent 600 dollars on it and did not get my money’s worth. I will be contacting the company, but, looking at these reviews, I doubt anything will be done to make things right. Wish I would have read reviews before I bought mine. At 600 it was the most I could afford. Unfortunately, I paid about 600 too much. I would not recommend this washing machine to anyone.

In May 2019, we purchased a Samsung washing machine (model # WA50R5400AV/US), which unfortunately broke down after three years of use in our Maryland house. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Samsung for repair, they initially avoided responsibility. After filing BBB complaints, they agreed to cover the repair and labor costs. However, a customer service error led to a repair ticket being opened for a Florida address instead of our Maryland residence. Numerous calls and emails to rectify the situation went unanswered, causing three months of inconvenience, financial strain, and stress. Our tenants were left without a washing machine, and we incurred expenses for laundry services and the replacement of the machine.

The total costs of this ordeal include:

    Unsuccessful repair expenses: $244.94 USD
Cost of a new washing machine: $882 USD
Estimated tenant's laundry expenses due to the delay: $700 USD

In total, we have faced financial damages amounting to $1,827 USD due to Samsung's irresponsibility and lack of proper customer support.
