Roberta's deliver right on time so I never had any problems. Their customer service team are also very nice people and are always trying to help. The plants that I got from Roberta's are of very good quality. I planted most of them and they came through but a couple of them didn't live because I got sick. I got a plant which bottom looks like wood. I put in water for a while then the leaves start coming out of the wood. It's about 2 years old now and it's really huge. I'm very satisfied with my experience with Roberta's. I plan on ordering this year but I just haven't had time to do it.
I liked what I saw at Roberta's Gardens, and I purchased a few products over the years. I love the selection, and I like the idea that there are things that I can't find anywhere else. The delivery was great too. However, the merchandise in general, was not great. Most of my plants died, so I probably won't be ordering from them anymore. But the customer service is really good. Everybody was pleasant and did what they had to do, but whoever ships them out doesn't check before they send them, and I find it difficult to order online when the quality isn't there. I wouldn't recommend them.
I have purchased tons from Roberta's Garden. I purchased packages of sedum which are a whole bunch of tiny little plants that grow through the winter. I also order Impatiens every year and they're beautiful. The quality of the items is very good. Though every once in a while, I get a little something that's not too great, but they made sure that they replaced whatever wasn't doing well. I'm happy with them.
I am so sorry for the shipping conditions. We at Roberta's try our best to package everything correctly. Once it leaves our hand and gets into the UPS truck, we can't tell how they will arrive. Sometimes it is the handler of the package when it leaves us. If there is anything we can do to make up for this, please let Roberta's know. We would be happy to send out a complementary plant set for you. Again, so sorry about the condition of some of the plants.

Two years ago, I contacted Roberta's to tell them I had problems with many of the items, so this year they set me for a replacement, which they sent in April. It was much too cold here to do any planting then and nothing survived this year. They did it by the chart they have for the zone I'm in. I'm in New Jersey, and it's usually very warm here by the end of April and May, but this year it was freezing cold all through May.
I bought things in the past from Roberta's Gardens, and also, some of the items that they have can’t be found locally, so I purchased from them again. The quality of the items I get varies. Some of them came in in very good condition. Some of them came in horrendous condition, and many of them have died. Some of the items I get from them come packaged very well and they’re moist and in great condition, and at other times, they come in totally dried up and three-quarters of the leaves are brown and dead.
I once had a couple of plants that were in little plastic pots and one plant was in a plastic bag. It didn’t even have a pot and whatever was in that plastic bag was dead. And other times, things come in in good condition. A lot of the standard trees that I've ordered came in looking like the samples that they show on the TV show, but other times they came in and if I had seen it in the store, I would never have purchased it. One of my biggest complaints is that the plants that they show are specimens that are four times as nice as the ones you get. Even the ones that come in nicely are never as big as what they show. It’s really misleading.
I am sorry Angela that you were unsatisfied with your plants. You specifically pointed out the Figs. I understand the disappointment of not getting what you thought you were getting. Figs usually take two to three years to get measurable edible fruit. Roberta's would be happy to send you more figs or another package of plants to your liking. Again, we apologize and want to make this right with you.

All the things that I bought from Roberta’s Gardens died. Also, the fig trees were pretty small when they came. It was fine, however, they never produced any fruit. I'm very dissatisfied.

I've had problems with Roberta's Gardens. Some of my purchases had to be replaced over and over, and they didn't replace some of the things that I had ordered. One thing that I got from them was milkweed that grew all over the place. They never said it was an invasive plant in terms of reseeding itself all over my yard, and to me that's invasive. They didn't tell me that the seeds get little fuzzies on them like dandelions and then they take off. I have six or eight of these plants, and now I'm going to have thousands of them in my yard. I'm going to be weeding my whole lawn, an acre of yard.
There was a lot that they didn't mention about the milkweed. They also didn't say anything about having millions of little orange bugs all over the milkweed plants. You should cut off the seed pods when they start forming. This way, you don't get all these milkweed bugs which aren't harmful to anything other than they eat the seeds. But they eat them too late and the damage is already done, and the seed has already flown off.
The Athanasia that I got from them was not healthy when I planted it, although I tried to bring it back to life. I had ordered six plants but only got two of them, although they said they had these plants in stock when I ordered them. Then they got in touch with me over a month later saying they didn't have any more of these in stock and they would be sending me Crocosmia bulbs instead as a replacement. I looked this plant up and I'm like, "Okay, this is pretty." It's reddish orange, tall, and a butterfly attractor. I like the plant that they sent. But they never grew, not one out of 15, and that's ridiculous. Generally, they'll send replacements, but the replacements aren't any better than what I ordered in the first place, aside from the milkweed which is thriving.
Moreover, I have daylilies from two years ago that still haven't gotten past three inches. They said that within three years I would get about 3,000 flowers, but I haven't gotten more than two flowers off of any of these plants in two years and they haven't gotten past six inches in a season. They keep coming back but they're not doing anything. I won't order from Roberta's Gardens again.
I like the products of Roberta's Gardens and purchased several things from them at QVC. The last thing I purchased was the roll out flowers. My purchases were delivered by UPS, like normal packages. The quality of the flowers I got was fine. But the flowers all died, because these were planted too early and were also sent to me too early, during the frost season. They should have waited two more months before they sent these flowers to me. So, after I called QVC, I got a whole refund.
The lemon/lime tree from Roberta's Gardens had good quality. The delivery was on time, too. However, I thought it was gonna last from season to season but it didn't. It died.
In the first year that I ordered from Roberta's Gardens, I had success with some of the products so I decided to order from them again. I would prefer to buy from them than from my local Home Depot because I have a better chance at the quality. However, I want to call and talk to them about some things that didn't succeed. They have a policy that if I call them, they 100% guarantee success and I wanted to see as far as the end of the season if that would be the case.
I was watching QVC and I liked the flowers that Roberta's Gardens had. I wanted to put them in my backyard, so I purchased some Daylilies. I got them fast and in the way they showed them on TV. They didn't come fully bloomed but when they did, they were absolutely gorgeous. They're still beautiful and look really nice in my yard. I don't usually mail order flowers because I've had a few bad experiences in the past but these were perfect and I'm very happy. They're a superior product.
Thank you so much for your review. I am so glad you are enjoying the plants. We look forward to serving you next season.

The demonstrations that Roberta's Gardens showed looked like something I could grow so I purchased succulents and calla lilies from them. They came with fertilizer, too. The delivery went excellently. It came right when they said it was gonna come. I've found that I have success with every product I got as long as I read and followed the instructions. The succulents are great because they come on this big mat and I can hang them up on the wall or put them in a frame - I can do anything I want with them. I buy them all the time and get the most for my money. The products come in really good condition and are of great quality. They're the best out of all the plants sold on QVC. Roberta's Gardens also have nice customer service people. I sent them an email that I liked their products and somebody contacted me and thanked me.
Thank you for the review. We look forward to serving you next season!

I ordered some kind of African plant and red hot pokers. I usually get my plants in April because QVC doesn’t mail out the flowers until the zone where you live is ready to be planted. Roberta's quality is nice. I ordered from somebody else from QVC and the quality wasn't nice. The pokers are in the yard and doing well.
I am glad you are happy with your flowers. Thank you for being a great customer! We value your opinion and look forward to serving you next season.

I've been buying from Roberta’s Gardens for seven years, and I'm satisfied with their products. The people at Roberta’s are friendly and they are to the point. I contacted them one time when I had a question about growing something, and also some annuals that were not growing as promised. They rectified it and everything was good. I purchased a few plants from them, and I got one that looked as if it might not make it. They told me to let them know what I wanted to do and they will send another one out or I can cash another one. And then, they’ll take care of it for me. I was pleased with the results. When they do a presentation about a plant, I try to be realistic about whether it is something simple and something I could do. Most of them have worked out. I need a lot of plants and I never had a green thumb, but the plants I got from them have shown me different. I had success when I didn’t really think I could, so I’m really happy.
I am so sorry about the broken plant. I hope our process for replacements was an easy transition for you. We look forward to serving you next season!

Some plants from Roberta's Gardens were beautiful like the four kinds of cactus that I bought. But the Begonias I got from them are not blooming and I don't know why. Plus, they show the big ones on TV and I received the small ones. One time they broke the plants during delivery but they sent me another one.
I liked how Roberta's Gardens advertised their product. When I order from them, I've been satisfied overall and there has only been a couple of times where things were not to my liking. They got good quality items.
I'm sorry you did not have much success with our plants. I notice you live in Texas and your climate can be very hot and dry, so please be sure to select plants that are suitable for your dry climate. Roberta's wishes you better luck next time. Thank you for giving us a try.

Only one perennial plant is still alive out of the many I have ordered. The 2nd one that lived lived only a year. I got a replacement for a group of plants I ordered (minus the 2 previously mentioned) and they died. I would say I haven't had the best luck.
I liked the plants that I ordered from Roberta's. All the plants they sent me were in good condition. The heat in California, however, is killing them.
I had ordered some flowers and several of them died due to a really harsh summer. They sent replacements this last spring.
I should have asked more questions on my last two orders from Roberta's Gardens. Purchasing these plants was great and I had no problem with getting my order here. But I've been having a hard time getting these plants that I got from them to grow where I live in Tennessee. They're growing, but they're just small. I don't know if the area where I live is good for them or not. They're like a small bush for ground cover. I'll have to look for my papers for this purchase and see what these plants are. I've also got to call Roberta's to find out how these plants are supposed to perform or not perform where I am.
My experience with Roberta's was very good. They had good prices and I liked the items they sold. The plants were good but some of them were a little bad. A lot of them didn't grow once I had planted them. I got in contact with Roberta's about it and they sent me another plant.
Liked everything. Wish I would have had better luck with growing them. Thank you.
I had ordered the tomatoes, orange peppers and the eggplant from QVC. But, I didn't keep my little brochure when I got them back in the spring. I went to the QVC website to know how long it was supposed to take for them to bear fruit, but they have taken it down so I went to Roberta's to look it up and read it on there. I also had some flowers prior to that and they were beautiful. My tomatoes have been wonderful and the baby eggplants are better than big eggplants. Overall, my experience with Roberta's has been very professional and I have recommended them.
Roberta's is sad to hear you have not had much success with our plants the past few years. We provide replacements within our warranty for all our plants. I apologize for our plants not doing well for you. I would encourage you to be careful when selecting plants because you reside in a very warm climate in FL. You will need plants that are very heat and drought tolerable for your area. I would have recommended the Lavender though as it prefers a sandy, dry, porous soil. I will be happy to send you another complimentary replacement of the Lavender collection in the spring of 2017. Thank you for giving Roberta's a try and I hope you will have success with this order and have some restored faith in Roberta's to once again order with us in the future.

I have ordered quite a few flowers/bulbs off of you. The Lavender lasted one season and died. One or two (can't remember now) arrived almost dead and you replaced them. I have one growing out of the three planted. That is the only thing that has ever grown here in my garden from all of the flowers and bulbs that I have ordered over the last few years. You have replaced things but they didn't grow either and I have a green thumb. Sorry to have to tell you that.
I have had these Irises for several years and they are close to my favorite. They are beautiful and different. I wait every year for them to bloom and they never disappoint. 1 of the originals died and I contacted Customer Service and they shipped me out a replacement the following year at the correct planting time and it is blooming along with the rest. I do think the flowers were a bit pricey but worth every penny!
I love Roberta’s Gardens. They stand behind their warranties real good. I don’t feel bad in calling if I get something that’s not up to par. I’ve bought a little bit of everything from them and everything I’ve ever bought from them has done really well, except for a couple of little things and they’ve been real nice to try to replace it. One of them was my little tree that I got which comes from China and I got a letter saying it couldn’t be replaced now. But everything else I’ve gotten from them grows real good. My ground cover in the shade and the one outside in the sun have both done good. I also love the fertilizer and the Spray-n-Grow stuff is really fantastic.
This is my favorite online nursery. I love the product line and quality each year. If ever I do have a problem they are 100% committed to make me happy. I have been a customer for many years past and of course many years to come.
I bought some plants, the Hibiscus that grows in the winter. We planted them and they're both pink. I thought I ordered pink and red. So I called Roberta’s Gardens and talked with a lady who was very nice and she said they would take care of it in the spring because it was too late to send them now. Two years ago, I also bought the Black-eyed Susan. I moved from where I lived and was only able to save one pot because I couldn’t find the other ones. I wound up with only the yellow and the black center instead of the red ones.
I transplanted them then out of the barrel-size pot they were growing in into our front yard and they have been blooming for three months now. They’ve been very healthy and they’re gorgeous. It’s that big pop of color in front of the yard that makes you stop and take notice. I would like to add the other colors but I don’t know where I planted them in. The dark red looking color was gorgeous. Hopefully they came back. I’m not sure if they did but they’re supposed to. They’re perennial.
I’ve enjoyed my plants and would recommend Roberta's Gardens. They should keep bringing up plants that we like that are beautiful. Because you can’t find them when you go to Walmart, Home Depot or Lowe’s and places like that around in this small town. There are nurseries but you don’t find those kinds of things where they have worked on them and gotten them to grow like that. Everybody asks what my Hibiscus is because they can’t believe it’s a Hibiscus bloom. The only thing is with Hibiscus, they only last about a day. Then you got another one that comes the next day. But still they're breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it. I've also bought some corals from Roberta's Gardens. I put them in the pots when I first got them but I’ll probably transplant them to my bed. They just started growing and they’re beautiful too.
I've Roberta's Gaedens never had any problems. I haven’t had to take anything back. But if I did, I’m sure I would never have any problems because I've never had before. I bought flowers and a lot of sedum so I don’t have to worry about weeds. The delivery was good. They tell you what to do if you couldn’t plant them yet if it’s a little cold. So far everything’s been fine and everything’s growing and really looking good.
We're sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience with our groundcover. We offer plant replacements from 1 year of shipment and I'm not sure if you took advantage of this offering. I would like to work with you to provide you with a groundcover in the upcoming spring. A representative from Roberta's will be contacting you to make arrangements for a complimentary groundcover to plant collection to be shipped to you.

Ground cover. Ordered it, followed directions to a tee. EVERYONE DIED.
Roberta's is so happy that you have had good results with our plants and customer service when you have had to have some questions answered or plants replaced. As always, thank you for all your business.
