Was extremely helpful. It was great to have an actual person to talk to and he went beyond our initial problem. He was also friendly and easy to talk with and explain the issues with our Maytag washer.

I bought my first set of Maytag's front loaders in 1997. The washer lasted for about 7 years, but my gas dryer is a beast. It is still going strong today in 2025 (28 years later). I haven't had any problems with my dryer. This year I purchased a new set. After seeing everyone's reviews I'm praying I don't have any issues. When my washer went out I purchased a Samsung washer. It has lasted for 10 years and is still working. Only issue, it started rusting on the front panel around the frame of the door. It looks a hot mess, but still works.

I just had to buy a new washer. Our Maytag was here when we bought our house. I knew it was an older one but it worked like a horse. Heavy loads, dirt and grime all got clean. When we pulled the washer out the purchase date was written on the back 5-7-2020. Today is 5-6-2025, way to go. Too bad I couldn’t afford the same brand but I felt Maytag deserved a thumbs up!👍🏻

I purchased a Maytag washer from Lowe's, and in the short time I have had it I have had more problems with it than any washer I have owned before. The lid lock is terrible, doesn't do a good job at cleaning clothes, sensor gets stuck on one job and won't go to the next job, unbalanced with small loads, and is really more trouble than it is worth. Never know if it will complete the wash cycle or if there will be another issue. Really is a terrible product, so based on my experience I would wholeheartedly recommend: DO NOT BUY A MAYTAG OR WHIRLPOOL WASHER! THEY ARE GARBAGE.

Brand new washer lasted 2 weeks. I requested warranty service and have been waiting 10days. No one cares. They get their money and blew me off. Next step - Better Business Bureau. The washer sounds like it's full of marbles and it won't spin.

Pure Garbage- idk why they even exist . 3 months in doesn’t work- warranty what a joke - make you wait 2 weeks to let you know they forgot to schedule you to wait another 2 weeks - learn from our mistakes.

Do not buy Maytag. I purchased a washer on 10/25/25. Pet Pro Model #MTW7200RFO. On Dec19th I called and scheduled the soonest service I could get. On Dec 23 a service tech came and diagnosed my machine. He did not and would not open my machine to retrieve the wet clothes inside. At that time, he ordered a mother board and locking mechanism. I have an email confirmation of this information. A-Z Appliances expedited an order to receive the mother board. I spoke with Jamie on Jan. 2. She explained the part had been ordered and to check back on Wed Jan 7 after the parts are checked in. I called again on Jan. 7.

My locking mechanism was received by A-Z (my locked-in-the-washer-clothes are molding and I have now been to the laundromat 5 times at a minimum of $25 per visit). The motherboard had been expeditated and had not been received. I have spoken with them twice since and my service they pushed out until February. I have since spoken with Whirlpool on 3 occasions when I am able to get through. I spoke with Greg on Jan. 14 and again with Shania on Jan. 20th. I am now being told the motherboard was ordered on Jan 14. The chat line is equally a none service. The customer service is beyond difficult to use. My clothes are still locked in, it is Jan 20th.

My Maytag MVW7230HW0 washing machine is just 4 years old and the bearings are roaring so loudly on spin already. Spin cycle sounds like a jet turbine. Needs new transmission. I’ve also had to change out the slider on the it. Worst machine I’ve ever owned.

I have owned this Maytag model MVW623RHW2 for more than 4 years. Although the washer has been reliable, but I still find it frustrating that it lets me know it needs to be cleaned after I have added the clothes and the soap. This is a very, very stupid design. Don't know what the Maytag engineers were drinking when they designed this model. They could have very easily displayed that I need to run a clean cycle after a wash cycle is finished and stayed on displayed continuously to be seen at all times. If I had known about this prior to purchasing this washer, I would have not bought it.

      • Advanced Moisture Sensing: Maytag’s Advanced Moisture Sensing makes sure every article of clothing gets dry, from socks to towels. The sensor strips located inside the dryer measure moisture levels around the fabric of the clothes in the dryer. At the same time, inlet sensors determine air temperatures to stop the load at the appropriate time.
