Purchased an LG range (# **) over a year ago and had the stove go on after brushing the burner which we caught right away but a couple weeks ago I was working above the stove and the burner did come on and I had a blanket over the stove to protect the glass top and it caught fire. Luckily we put it out. We try to use the lock all the time but this time it didn't happen. I don't like that both front burners are on ultra heat all the time and are hard to control. They are starting to ruin the stainless steel pots we use. I think that a light should be lit for each burner since you don't know which is hot..I feel that LG has not lived up to expectations on safety and fire protection. Is there a recall on the range and can the ultra burners be replaced?

I purchased a 6.3 cu ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Electric Range with EasyClean®. Within the first 9 months of owning this stove, I've had LG repair technician out three (3) times to try and fix this stove. There is one burner that does not operate properly and LG does not appear able to fix it. It overheats and in my mind, is a serious fire hazard, as it randomly works properly sometimes and sometimes not. It burns food and pans. I've spent money and time on this stove, waiting on 4 separate occasions for repair since they didn't show up one day and didn't tell me until 30 min left in the appointment window. And, I'm about to send this stove to the dump and never buy LG again. Purchased from home depot. Clip from receipt to protect personal info.

I purchased model LREL6321S and regret it with every fiber of my being. I went w/o a vacay to buy this range for almost $900. It was a few mos old when I baked a lasagna in the oven. The dish bubbled over onto the bottom of the oven and made a mess. I hit the "easy clean" button but could not get it to set for 5 hrs. I called LG and they told me my model only had the easy clean which is a 10 min cycle. I tried it and the oven barely got warm. I called them back and told them it did nothing. They told me that was all they could do, and to maybe use a credit card to scrape some off.

You can't use oven cleaner nor foil and some baking dishes are too large for a catch pan to go underneath. I worked for over 4 hrs and got about 75% removed with hot water and a cc. Why would they put a piece of crap oven cleaning feature that DOES NOTHING? I am not gun shy about baking anything in the oven. How can they call it an oven cleaner feature when it is not? The pull out drawer is also a piece of crap. When you pull it out you cant get it to go back in properly and it is as thin as tin foil.... JUNK.

Bottom line, please DO YOU HOMEWORK before you buy something and don't trust the salesperson who knows very little about it. It is a shame that our Country has gone downhill so bad that appliances are not built to last but yet be replaced before the warranty has expired. The additional yr of warranty by LG was a joke too. You have to get the app, set up wi-fi, etc. My wi-fi is 5g the stove is 2.4g so I finally said screw it, keep your warranty. ALL BRANDS ARE BAD, BUT IF YOU BAKE A LOT DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE.

Monitored temp in oven with a bimetal oven thermometer and a digital temp probe. Temp set at 375F, bimetal oven thermometer read 420F and digital probe fluctuated between 390F and 440F. Calibrated according to manual and 2 conversations with Customer Service. After multiple adjustments calibrated at 350F, Range LED indicated 350F, bimetal thermometer indicated 350F, digital probe fluctuated between 325F and 375F, rough average of 350F. After cooling the range, set temp at 375F. When the range indicated 375F, bimetal thermometer indicated 410F and the digital ranged between 390F and 440F. The calibration is not linear. Confirmed 350F calibration was entered and stored correctly.

Bought a new LG dual-fuel stove a year ago. The electric oven went out a month ago. Troubleshooting the problem led to replacing the LED screen on the front panel ($325) then a control board behind that LED unit (an additional $150) and now replacing the power board ($150) at the rear of the stove. Overall use of this stove has minimal or nonexistent since it is in our guest apartment. To date, we have spent approximately $1000 in costs trying to repair a brand new range. Terrible product, customer service and replacement parts availability. Run away from this brand as fast as you can.

The new LG oven I purchased is a total disappointment. When it wouldn't hold a temperature after only 1 year I called in a serviceman. The LG serviceman told me that when they moved the heating element from the bottom to the rear of the oven, they knowingly sacrificed exact temperature control. They figured younger bakers don't care. This man actually told me that it's only "older women like you" who complain about such things. This LG oven is a total loss. Don't waste your money if you're a baker.

We purchased a new LG range model #LSSE3026ST in Nov 2018. It had the features and the look that I wanted. However, 3 months after the purchase, we had a large electrical flash come out from the side of the stove between the ceramic top and the oven. It left a large burn mark on the side of the wood cabinets - this could have potentially set the cabinets on fire. An LG technician came out after a week to look at the problem. He found a pinched electrical wire from the manufacturing process, and was able to repair it. The knobs on the front of the stove are also too sensitive and will turn on with just a bump/brushing up against them - huge fire hazard.

We also don't use the oven that much and therefore only use the self clean function 1-2 times annually. This year after using the self clean function, the interior of the oven expanded in the middle so that the "gliding" oven rack no longer fits. The oven walls expanded so much in the centre that the rack falls straight through to the oven bottom, and the top and bottom of the oven is too tight for the rack to fit. The regular racks still fit, but move around a lot. We are now too afraid to use the self clean function as to what could happen the next time, and can no longer use the "glide" rack. Customer service insisted that their "technician" had to view the problem despite me sending them a video of the issue. We were leaving on vacation, and I told customer service that the appointment had to be after our return. We were told that they couldn't make an appointment two weeks in advance, and that they would call back upon our return - they didn't!

On our return we had our own technician out for a different appliance and had him look at the stove. He said that there was absolutely nothing LG could do to fix the issue. We didn't bother contacting them again as the stove was out of warranty, and pretty sure they couldn't do anything to fix the issue, nor would be willing to make things right. Totally frustrated with LG and would never recommend LG to anyone.

The inside of the range is flaking blue porcelain everywhere. It has only been used to bake and has always been cleaned with the self clean. LG wants to shirk their duties so I will post this for people to understand before buying this product.

I bought this stove in 2021, and about 1 year after the numbers on the panel to show the temperature of stove all began to fade. The numbers to show the oven temperature started glitching and now I have to guess what the temperature is. The racks a little unsturdy and all and will fall and they do not fit right across the width of the oven. Worst purchase ever!!! LG Electronics 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Fan Convection Electric Oven Range with AirFry and EasyClean in Stainless Steel. Store SKU # 1005228164.

I purchased the LG 30-in 4 Burners 6.3-cu ft Self-cleaning Air Fry Convection Oven Freestanding Single Induction Range in May 2024, Since then, two separate burners had been defective, cause ruin to multiple meals. The response time to repair these issues is not bad except on 2 of 3 tech visits, the technician did not have the part needed to fix it. The service is aggravation and frustrating to say the least. I wonder if I have been sold a refurbished range with previous defects. I am in the process of asking for a refund.
