I purchased this LG slide in electric range a year ago for a summer home. Overall, I have not used it much since it is not our full- time home, but are very disappointed with its performance and design. LG customer service has not been helpful in taking action with a mishap that occurred while try to remove a stain from this delicate enamel interior. Rather than run the self cleaning feature, a cleaning agent was used to remove a spot on this new stove and it is permanently damaged. There was no warning, with any labels or printed on the inside of oven door, about using cleaning agents in this oven, other than in small print in the manual.

Unfortunately, after researching how to remedy this, I have found that many other consumers have had the same occurrence happen to their LG ovens and there is no remedy- just ruined. The knobs are a very serious defect in design- my grandchildren have walked by and I have had to watch that the knobs do not move, especially when cooking and the lock is not on. It is a constant worry and would not have chosen this oven had known about it in advance. Lastly, the temperature in the oven is either not working properly or needs to be recalibrated- cookies should not take 40 mins. to bake. I feel that I was misled when purchasing this range, not knowing what potential dangers can exist with it.

Less than 2yrs of purchasing a LG electric range (along with my whole kitchen appliances) bundle!! Now I regret buying it! Poor quality, technical quality is poor, and with recalls (LG solving it by providing warning stickers) that’s crazy!! Turning one knob on will turn others - without warnings, and making a fire hazard… Stay away since the warranty is limited to 1yr and then $420 as a starter expense. I would not recommend LG, unless they prove their customer loyalty and fixing without any extra charge.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Purchased an LG electric oven/stove in 2023. It’s had problems starting at 6 months. Burners stop working and it’s been repaired 3 times in 2024. Now June 2025 it’s got 3 burners not working again. LG warranty is up and they will not do anything about it. To get it repaired is $360 and we know it will break again as it has before. Also purchased a dishwasher at the same time. It’s progressively getting louder as time goes on. Buyer beware!!!!

I bought a complete kitchen appliance set from Sam's club, refrigerator electric range and dishwasher. The refrigerator arrived with a ding on the door, Sam's club offered to replace it or give a discount. I chose the discount because it could be hidden with magnets or other type decorations. I got delivery on March 24th, now April 30th and the range to is disfigured. See picture. Sam's club offered to replace it, but my problem is why replace it if it's going to happen again.

Sam's club advised to call LG to see if they can resolve the issue. LG's response? That's your problem, it's not covered by our warranty, you caused it, you're on your own. This is after sending pictures of the stovetop and the product used to clean it. Their representative said, "you're cooking sugar or salt in the range and that's what caused that." And, "it must be the type of pots you're using." His advice, let Sam's club give you a new one. I said, why would I want a new one if it's going to reoccur, I might as well buy a Samsung. His response, ok bye. That's LG customer service for you. You don't like it, screw off. The fifteen year old GE when we bought this house a Year and 9 months ago didn't look like this! And we're using the same kitchen utensils! Not yet six weeks and the range top is disfigured! I guess it's on to another brand.

I purchased an LG electric range model #LSEL6335F in April of 2024. I have had numerous problems with this stove right from the beginning. Unfortunately i started using the oven part of it about a month after I received it and Lowe's would not take it back. Told me I had to go through warranty department of LG. Very long story short, I had a technician out 6 times. The oven part is defective and does not cook food underneath, It remains raw whether it is pizza or bread or even trying to cook a cake like cheesecake it remains raw on the inside. The technicians only measured the temp inside the oven and reported nothing wrong with the unit. I went as far as cooking a pizza right in front of several of the techs and they took pics and submitted them with their report and LG would do absolutely nothing about it. I do not know what else I could have done to prove this oven is defective so now I am stuck with a defective oven that cost approx $1000.

Please do your research before buying anything from LG because if something is wrong they will find a way not to cover the unit or refund you. A huge disappointment and waste of money. I will never buy another thing from LG just for the ongoing terrible experience I've had with them. P.S. Forgot to mention that they told me to buy a pizza stone to help cook the pizza better, not only did it not work because we really wanted things to work, we are out of $100 in purchasing a stone that did not do what they said it would with no apology or reimbursement. I have never encountered a company with the worse customer service ethics and complete lack of accountability.

I have model LDE4415ST. The right front burner went out. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn’t before it went out completely. Knobs are super sensitive. You could bump into it and it would accidentally turn on. After realizing how dangerous the stove could be I installed a gate to the kitchen and removed ALL knobs when not in use because I have kids and a dog. I’ve used the stove for 2 1/2years. It is a beautiful stove but it’s not worth the risk.

One day I left one knob on and a kid or dog bumped into it causing a small stove top fire. Unfortunately, my fire extinguisher malfunctioned so the small stove top fire turned into a huge house fire. It will take at least 6 months before my house will be habitable again. I wouldn’t recommend this stove to anyone and if you have one ALWAYS remove the knobs! And just in case you don’t remember to remove the knobs make sure you have an up to date working fire extinguisher in arms reach!

Just into 3 months of owning LG #LSIL6334 I am ready to trash it. I have owned stoves for over 50 years, probably about 5. My last was an LG and I was sorry to see it go. I am an experienced cook and baker. I am nervous to cook or bake anything in or on my new stove! Things on the burners either don’t cook or burn. I have ruined pots! My oven also is either over or undercooking in the prescribed time. I need to be so vigilant! I have used the easy clean and it does nothing. The knobs are very sensitive. I am constantly bumping them on. The timer is next to useless because it goes so quickly up or down it is extremely hard to set. The convection mode makes no difference in cooking time. It’s a useless feature. This is the worst choice I have made in buying appliances.

I bought the LG Thinq stainless steel range with the air fryer and convection oven built in. It lasted a year and a half. The oven part would not maintain the correct temperature and would suddenly switch to broil in the midst of baking and burn the food. I learned the sensor and heating was a consistent issue with this product. I would not buy an LG stove again.

Zero stars. I bought all new LG appliances for my brand-new fully renovated kitchen. This was the worst mistake of my life. I bought the full set from dishwasher, refrigerator, stove & microwave. The microwave completely fell apart within two to three years. The stove they had to replace the control unit within the first couple of years. A year after that the control has a recall and does not work at all. I can't even use the stove so now I'm out a stove as well. I will never ever buy LG again in my life. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!

      Customer Service

      Reviewed March 17, 2025

I bought a LG Range, model #LSEL6333F from Lowe's and was delivered / installed mid-Jan 2025. Since I have been using the range (less than 60 days), I've been burned twice by the vent in the rear of the stovetop and once from the oven's metal framework along the front of the range-top above the control knobs while having the "oven cleaning" function in operation and the large front burner on high setting. When I contacted LG Customer service online on 4 Mar25, I was texted that they would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. I could not find a customer service Phone number to LG on their website, but Lowe's gave me the number to LG customer service (833-378-0003). On 6 Mar 25, I called the LG Customer Service number given to me by Lowe's. On 7 Mar 25, I finally got a call from the LG Escalation TM to discuss my issue. LG Rep would only agree to schedule a service technician visit / inspection.

They dispatched a service technician who admitted his inability to correct the hazardous operation of the stove. Instead he referred to the owner’s manual stating it would be hot during operation. LG would not authorize a return / exchange with since there was no repair required. LG accepts that the Self-Clean Oven feature is hazardous according to the owner’s manual. Nothing was mentioned about a LG recall on the range due to the front-mounted knobs on the ranges being easily activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, posing a fire hazard.

This is validated by the Consumer Product Service Commission as of 6 Feb 25 citing 86 reports of unintentional activation involving more than 28 fires, 8 injuries, 3 pet deaths, and five fires caused extensive property damage totaling over $340,000. LG’s recall solution is to provide a decal warning to owners/ users. Unacceptable for sub-par safety operation in my opinion. LG obviously produces a hazardous product and is evidently willing to let the Buyer beware. NO more LG products for me and I encourage others to not buy LG Products.
