    Pros:
    * Good looking oven/microwave combo.
    * Cooks well.
    Cons (see below):
    * Expensive.
    * Not built to last more than 8 years.
    * Parts that tend to break, such as the control panel, cannot be repaired, but must be replaced, and tend to cost $800+ for the part and more for labor.
    * Customer service shows zero empathy.

    * When parts are needed, any backorder date is considered by Jenn-Air to be an "estimate" and can be delayed further at any time by an additional month or more.

    The control panel displayed an error on my 9-year old oven/microwave. My Jenn-Air authorized dealer said it would not repair the oven, as it no longer carries parts for ovens older than 8 years, and I would have to get the parts from Jenn-Air. Jenn-Air said these parts need to be back-ordered, and the only delivery date they will give you is an "estimate," which is often one month away; that date, according to Jenn-Air, can be pushed back at any time. The entire oven is worthless and cannot work at all until the very expensive part is replaced. According to other reviews, the control panel breaks down frequently, so this is a common occurrence for Jenn-Air, and it should therefore keep these control panels in stock for the expected life expectancy of the over, which I would like to think is longer than 8 years. But then why would the authorized service dealer draw the line at just 8 years?

    In addition, when explaining the difficulty of not having an oven for a month, the Jenn-Air parts reps say there is nothing they can do, and remind me several times during the call that they had told me that the date was just an estimate. When I asked if they can have someone contact the factory where the part is being made, they said that they won't have any different answer, and their supervisor would say the same thing, even though they all work for the same company. They showed zero empathy throughout the conversation. I will never purchase a Jenn-Air product again. It is considered a high-end product, but they do not treat their customers accordingly. And no one should ever purchase a $6,000 oven that will not last longer than 8 years.

    Ordered replacement light bulbs for our microwave. I went on the JennAir website, entered the model number for my microwave, and only one type of lamp showed up in the search results. I ordered it and it turned out to be the incorrect lamp. I called customer service, and was transferred like 5 different times, every single customer service representative talked super slowly and slurred, and they eventually told me I can't get a refund because I already tried installing the lamps. The Jennair website literally directed me to what I assumed would be the correct lamps, since I put in my literal model number. And now I can't get a refund? It was also $15 for each lamp, I got two, so I paid $30 in total. I eventually found the correct lamps on a separate website that only cost $6 each. I am incredibly disappointed with my experience.

      We have bought JennAir Rise 27. Since we had it 5 years 7 months the touch screen went out 3 times and kept giving errors. The 1st time went out was after we had it for 8 months fixed under warranty. The second time it went out we paid to get it fixed no problem. The third time it went out they Midsouth installed a Stove keypad and not a microwave part. Now Jennair is saying, "We did not work on the microwave at all" even though I have pictures of wrong item installed with the part that Jennair supplied. Now I am sure since the wrong part was installed might have did more damage to the microwave.

      2019 I purchased JennAir appliances package including Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top, built in oven and microwave. The microwave as of 4/7/25 now has 4 new control panels. Unfortunately the control panels were out of warranty when the problems started. I have contacted Jenn Air several times with answers of they will do WHATEVER IT TAKES TO KEEP ME HAPPY, and now,,,, SORRY BUT YOU ARE OUT OF WARRANTY. As of this date I have spent more money on repairs than what I paid for the Jenn Air. I now have had a countertop microwave sitting next to the built in Jenn Air with questions what to buy. Most reviews indicate that this microwave has problems with the control panel. PLEASE RESEARCH MICROWAVE OVENS BEFORE YOU DECIDE ON JENN AIR.

      We purchased a Jenn-Air Microwave brand new with our home in 2018. August 2024 the Magnetron stopped working, and recently the control panel was replaced. These repairs cost us nearly $2000.00 plus $149 to have a tech come to our home. 3 days after the control panel was replaced, it stopped working. I called Jenn-Air and wished to have a credit back for the amount of repairs we had to incur. They refused to offer a credit even close to what the repair costs were. I advised if I knew that the latest repair for the control panel (close to 1 thousand dollars), wouldn't work, I wouldn't have spent so much money to fix something that wasn't fixed. The agent told me to write a letter to head office. Customer service with this company is subpar, and I would never buy Jenn-Air again.

      Jenn-Air microwave Oven combination, purchased 7.5 years ago. Control panel not working. Jenn-air's preferred service company has been to my house 4 times, first three times the part was damaged when taken out of the box. Today February 4, 2025, 83 days since the first service call, they get the part installed to find out that wasn't the problem after all. NOW they are taking another two weeks and twice the cost for the part to fix my combination oven/microwave. Same technician. Just not the quality I was expecting from Jenn Air.

      We purchased a combo Jenn Air microwave oven. The control board went bad and it is not inoperable. I called Jenn Air and they said that the control panel was discontinued. I have been searching for a replacement panel and find it virtually impossible to get one. Abysmal customer experience and now I might have to buy a whole new unit. This unit is just 10 years old and now costs thousands to replace. Will not purchase any Whirlpool products in the future. I also had to trash my Kitchenaid Refrigerator after 6 years. Unacceptable.

      The product is making weird noises that I never heard from my other 15+ years old and inexpensive microwave when the product is only used for about 3 months. I called the Jennair warranty (waited 20 minutes to get to talk to someone) to schedule an appointment and the first service company I got assigned canceled the appointment because they do not do any of the built in microwave. I do not understand why Jennair warranty sent my case to a service company who do not service it when Jennair knows my exact model and most of Jennair products are built in.

      I had to call Jennair and waited another 20 minutes to get it rescheduled. How come Jennair did not contact me or automatically reschedule me when this is clearly Jennair’s error? The second service company told me they will be at 9-10 on a specific date. I got phone call, text, and email and I confirmed it’s 9-10. However, at 10:13, I still did not see anyone arriving so I called the service company then was told my slot was moved to 15:00-18:00. No one communicated with me about the change until I called the service company. At 13:21, the technician called me and canceled the appointment stating he was injured. The service company rescheduled me to a later slot “next week”.

      All these frustrations would not happen if Jennair had better quality. A microwave make noise is not as serious as refrigerator not working. However, it does make me wonder the quality control and the service level Jennair can provide when there’s much urgent issue. I had high expectations for such “high end” and “luxury” brand but it looks like I’m not yet getting what I paid for.

      If zero was an option I would give JennAir a zero. When we remodeled our home in 2018 we bought all new, and expensive, JennAir products. The microwave had to be repaired twice under warranty, and then had to be replaced after warranty. Our dishwasher has had to be repaired multiple times. The control panel on our oven had to be replaced multiple times at a cost of about $800 each time. We finally replaced it. The refrigerator has been fine… so far. Our repair people have told us this is all typical for JennAir products, and suggested we replace them with lower end brands as they break down. Lesson learned… Avoid JennAir!

      At 70, I've had some experience buying and installing appliances, from new homes to remodels. This is my first Jenn Air, and I'll never make this mistake again. The microwave is so loud, it's difficult to have a conversation in the kitchen. I sent a video to the company that I purchased it from, and they've said there's nothing they can do. The steam oven is a joke. The internal space is so small, the water holder that we fill ends up all over the bottom of the oven, which is why they included a huge non absorbent sponge. I'm going to have to pull them out and get rid of them, and I can't wait.
