I purchased an Independent Home walk-in tub for my 87 year old father. Although he was somewhat reluctant to make such a big investment in an old small home at his age, I wanted him to enjoy taking a bath again. We reviewed many companies that were over budget or did not meet the feature requirements. I happened upon Independent Home online and spoke with Cindy. I was pleased with her pitch as the company seemed to cater to elderly clients. Cindy was able to answer all my questions satisfactorily and we scheduled the consultant for the following week. The consultant, Paulina, was thorough and patient assuring me every step of the way of the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

I purchased a walk in tub from Independent Home 2 months ago and use it 2 to 3 times a week. The sales man that came to the house was very thorough a and explained the program to us and checked to make sure we had room in our fuse box and went up in the attic and to see if it would fit. At that time he measured the room to make sure it would fit. Then we sat down and looked at what we wanted on our tub. simple and sweet. We looked at other tubs but felt this was the best. We are glad we went with Independent Home Tub.

Overall, I am pleased with the walk-in tub itself; however, I do have concerns regarding the installation process. While the installation was completed in one day as promised, several issues were left unresolved. The installers removed my bathroom door frame to fit the tub, but when reinstalled, the frame was poorly aligned and partially splintered, causing the door to rub at the top. In addition, where the tub was forced into place, my bathroom closet door now rubs when opened or closed.

100% Would recommend to anyone looking for a company that is very affordable and goes over and beyond to help the customer with individualizing the experience and helping with everything. From planning the project to our individual needs to getting the right financing. And the price is the best I've found by at least half of the other companies I talked to. So I'd definitely recommend talking to this company before you make your mind up. RANDY THE PROJECT MANAGER WAS AWESOME. Definitely trust me. I'm very happy with my walk-in tub. The salesman who came to the house was very informative. We discussed what I was interested in and formed a plan. We chose to put 1/3 down & finance the remainder. We set an installation date & all was good to go. However, Mother Nature had other plans. The week we were to have our tub installed we had a freak 100 year blizzard come thru & dump 10-12 inches of snow across AL & FL. Our tub was supposed to be installed on Wed but got pushed back until Sat due to all the roads being closed.

Finally found a walk in tub company who was able to replace our garden tub. From the salesperson, Paul, Phil the installer with assistant Ben provided a wonderful experience to us as we get older. Couldn't use the Garden tub, getting in & out was impossible for years. This walk in tub is great and will help my Vietnam veteran relax & soothe his pain. Thank you Independent Homes!

Excellent company. Great service representative of a professional and courteous. Looks to be a great product. When I first talked to Melanie on the phone, she was very polite, very professional, but very highly of her company and her products. She had me sold on the tub before I even talk to the cell. That’s how good she was. After talking to Peter and him going through the companies, making their own products back in their own products and servicing their own product with the lifetime guarantee I was sold. Two excellent people to have in their company Peter and Melanie.

I enjoy my tub. The installation was professional. I would recommend getting this tub. From my experience this seems to be a company that hires competent workers to help install the tub. I have enjoyed relaxing in this tub. I'm also glad that this company is based in the USA.

John ** was my rep and he was very friendly. He answered all my questions and kept in contact with me throughout the installation process. The installation team was courteous and efficient. We had one small hiccup with getting the water turned off but the situation was quickly rectified. I haven't had any issues with my spa. The tub drains quickly and it's easy to clean. I use it regularly. I enjoy being able to sit and relax whether I want to soak in a bath or take a shower. It really has turned my small bathroom into a luxury spa experience.

Terrible customer service. Their representatives are dishonest and deceitful, good luck getting service. Tried to get a refund that was due to me but kept getting empty promises. Same old story. "Be patient. The check is in the mail."
