I have been with FrontPoint about a year. I had an issue with my remote panel not getting a signal from my main. It took the tech support team a few minutes to isolate the issue and fix the problem. During that time they also identified another hardware issue that needed to be resolved with my cellular card in the main panel. I was sent a new card the next day and tech support walked me through the 5 minute installation without issue. All shipping prepaid, no additional cost to me for parts or support. The team is helpful, courteous and professional all the time.

I have a FrontPoint Security system at two locations for four years. The system is extremely easy to install and very cost effective. The FrontPoint support system is excellent and I can access my system on my laptop 24/7.

My wife and I have loved our system. The only pain has been that we continually get text updates that are either extremely old or not accurate. Telling me that doors are open when they are closed and things like that. The worst part is that I went on the website and disabled all text messages to our phones and nothing changed. I was still receiving the texts. Other than that the system has been amazing and we have recommended it to friends and family.

After much research, we decided on a FrontPoint security system. I am a retired police officer and knew we needed a reliable and efficient system - and boy did we find it with our FrontPoint system! It has been FLAWLESS now for 2+ years, with only our own stupid mistakes setting it off. When that happens, we immediately receive a text message, followed quickly by a phone call, and ALWAYS by a polite and understanding representative of FrontPoint. Recently, our power went out (wind storm. We were out of town but received a text telling us that we had a power outage at our home, so we made a quick call to our son, who ran over and checked things out. We also added smoke alarms that are monitored for no extra charge.
Bottom line is, we are extremely pleased with this system, and for the first time in years, we leave home and enjoy our vacation instead of worrying about what we might come home to - it's worth every penny!

The system was a breeze to install -- under 30 minutes. Our house is full of thick walls that block most WiFi signals, but they didn't pose any problems to the FrontPoint system. So far, the system has worked flawlessly, even through power outages. Monitoring the system via the web and via our Android and iPhone devices has given us a lot of peace of mind. How could it be improved? Maybe a slimline touch-screen based control panel?
You couldn’t be more correct, the smartphone app is really awesome! Just knowing you have access to your system in the palm of your hand is a great feeling. As for the touchscreen, we do offer those! We are overall happy with the system. The garage door sensor is a little touchy in that sometimes, we have to open and close the door twice to get it to change to open or closed. Otherwise, all else works fine.

I contacted FrontPoint sales after hours and they contacted me the next business day. Setup was easy. My husband had all of the sensors up in less than 30 minutes. The representative walked me through the setup and testing process with ease. No matter how silly my questions were, the representative answered them all and was extremely patient and thorough. The system is easy to use.

The system was easy to set up and customer service was very helpful with any questions I had. A petsitter feeds our pets when we are away, and the smartphone app is great for checking to be sure she remembered to arm the system when she leaves.

I'm always hesitant to call someone whose job is to sell me something, but Front Point made it seem like we're partners in the process, and I never felt any pressure. The two other times I've called -- for set up and when the cellular card wasn't functioning properly -- were also hassle-free and quick. I've had the system over a year, and haven't had any troubles. Plus, it did its job when we were out of town and someone tried to get in. The police arrived and nothing was lost or disturbed.

Just wanted to say how easy it was to set up my security system - I opened the box, and was able to install the sensors and motion detectors in about 20 minutes. I called the service desk to activation and within about 20 minutes - most of which was spent me standing in front of motion detectors and waving my arms or opening doors to ensure the sensors were all working - I had an activated system. The specialist on the phone was friendly, polite and most importantly patient. This was one of the better Customer Service experiences I've had. I bought it, set it up and activated it - with no surprises. Nice job, FrontPoint.

I had just bought my first house and wanted a security system that was reliable and wasn't hard to setup. I did my research on the web and discovered FrontPoint had outstanding customer service. I called, and was instantly put in touch with a customer service rep in my area and assisted in my setup. I received my kit two days later. The setup was easy and once completed I called in and was able to activate the service immediately. An overall excellent experience!

Although I'd prefer a sysytem that couldn't be unplugged, I am still very satisfied with my system. No problems, no delays and very quick to respond.
Thanks for the great review! The AC adapter may be unplugged, but each panel that we send out comes with a 24 hour back up battery which allows the system to function as normal. The smartphone app is probably most-used and most useful to us. I was able to activate the alarm when we were 2000 miles away and an emergency occurred with our dog sitter, giving us peace of mind for the balance of our vacation.

I purchased a FrontPoint security system last year, and I was very surprised and delighted to find it was very easy to self-install and setup - I completed the entire setup in less than 1 hour. After installation, I found the free iPhone Alarm application to be very easy to use and intuitive. In short, I highly recommend a FrontPoint security system.

I had Monitronics prior to Front Point, and Front Point is 100% better. All we had is problems with the equipment and service from Monitronics. With Front Point the installation, setup, and operation was simple and the support has been great. I would highly recommend Front Point.

All personal encounters were excellent. Hardware way too simple to install. Setup way too simple. Operation is way too simple. System operates during power outages. Hardware and monitoring cost very inexpensive. We are happy, happy, happy.

Very happy with Front Point. The product was easy to install, easy to use and the customer service has been great. We ordered a lot of equipment including door/window sensors, and lots of smash detectors. My only caution would be to not recommend a smash detector in a room with babies. A baby's cry can be the same pitch so you need to be careful.

I am another customer who was burned by their "pay 80% of the remaining contract if you for any reason have to cancel within 3 years". I will never recommend them because of this.

I have had this system for over a year and have been satisfied with it. We have had the alarm go off at least three times for several minutes and there was no response from FrontPoint. Concerning since we live in the country. The setup was easy and the system is user friendly. My only concern is there is no interaction between FrontPoint and myself when the system activates. I don't need a call every time, however, there have been three times when I went outside to play with my dogs only to come in and hear the alarm was set by my wife. Again.. no response and I was outside for over 10-15 minutes. I came in, deactivated the alarm, and went back outside.

When I called, the customer service agent was very nice and informed me that the system was under warranty and that they would ship out a new control panel that day. He was not able to answer some questions but told me he would look into it. I spoke to a 2nd person when the control panel did not arrive as expected and also to clarify some features of the system since it did not operate as I had expected during the emergency. Because of the lost monitoring time (3 weeks) and my disappointment with the monitoring plan that I had not performing as expected, a manager called me and credited the lost monitoring time and also helped me upgrade to monitoring plan that met our needs at no additional cost. Evidently, it is rare that a power surge will burn up a control panel since there are built in safeguards and it had to be a massive surge. I felt that FrontPoint really stood behind their system and wanted to make it right with me. I appreciate that.

We have had a FrontPoint Security system for almost 5 years and although we have never had a reason to use it (thankfully!), it has added to our peace of mind when not home. We have had one false alarm due to a malfunctioning sensor when we were not at home and the response was perfect. They contacted the police after speaking with us and the police met us at our home. The best part is the FrontPoint app. We can arm the system while away, which is useful when forgetful family members do not set the alarm! We have installed remote light switches and are able to turn lights on and off either on a schedule or just when we need using the app. The company's service has been excellent and we love having our system!

After buying our home we researched security options carefully before settling on FrontPoint, several months of carefully actually. The help desk at FrontPoint was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our deliberations, there was never a hard sell - only answers and suggestions. After going over all the alternatives, FrontPoint just seemed to be head and shoulders above the other options and at a very reasonable price. The system we designed arrived within days and was very easy to set up. The online help was excellent and the technician we spoke to during the final over-the-phone activation process very competent and patient.
As important as the quality of the products and the design/installation experience is the ease of use. The system talks you through whatever it is you need to do, no abstract codes or such. It is so simple to arm and disarm that we use it all the time - at night while we are in sleeping, during the briefest of excursions from the house, whatever. This is not some clunky system that you tend to only use when going away for an extended period - it is an any time any day system. The bottom line is that this is everything we hoped it would be and more; both the system and the company have met and exceeded our highest expectations. Stop looking and call FrontPoint. You will be glad you did, we sure are.
