Horrible range! Have to have it serviced every year! Temperature is uneven, the igniter breaks every year, which is costly and gas escapes frequently! Would definitely not recommend it!

Bought a brand new Dacor refrigerator and the icemaker went out after two years. Call Dacor and none of the authorized repair companies would come out to my location. I’m only one hour outside of Austin Texas. Ice maker not working definitely. Going to switch to a major brand since Dacor was bought by Samsung and use useless.

Customer service is useless. Already doors are shifting rubbing together, drawers crooked. $18,000 for a piece of crap. I wish I would have gone with a different company. On hold for 25 min. Didn't receive $1,400 rebate. Been 4 months and says, "Oh you do wrong serial number." Asked me to put out built in fridge and look in back lol. NOT gonna get killed due to lack of education! It's top heavy and is very dangerous as the installers notified me never pull it out..

Our experience with Dacor Appliances has been extremely disappointing, especially given the brand’s premium pricing and reputation. We purchased a full suite of Dacor appliances—including refrigerator and freezer columns, an induction cooktop, dishwasher, double oven, microwave, and wine refrigerators, at a total cost exceeding $30,000. At that price point, we expected long-term reliability and high-quality craftsmanship. Instead, these appliances have been a constant source of frustration, expense, and inconvenience. In the last six years alone, we have had to replace our 36-inch column refrigerator twice due to serious failures. Additionally, we have also been forced to replace the dishwasher twice over that same period.

For high-end appliances that cost significantly more than most competitors, this level of unreliability is completely unacceptable. These are core household appliances, and at this price point, they should last well beyond a few years without repeated or catastrophic issues. Each replacement involved long delays, repeated service visits, and significant disruption to our household. Food spoilage became routine due to refrigerator failures, while the constant need to schedule technicians and navigate customer service added ongoing stress and wasted time. Despite following all recommended maintenance and usage guidelines, the appliances continued to fail. These were not minor inconveniences, they were major breakdowns that rendered essential appliances unusable.

Now, the current replacement refrigerator is experiencing problems yet again, and of course, it is no longer under warranty. This leaves us facing potentially thousands of dollars in repair or replacement costs for appliances that have already demonstrated a clear pattern of failure. It is incredibly frustrating to invest so much money in so-called “luxury” products only to be left without support once the warranty expires. What makes this experience even worse is the lack of accountability from the brand. For a company that markets itself as a high-end, professional-grade appliance manufacturer, Dacor does not stand behind its products in a way that reflects that promise. Longevity, durability, and customer trust appear to be secondary concerns.

In short, Dacor Appliances are horrible in terms of reliability and overall value. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Dacor to anyone seeking dependable, long-lasting appliances. If you are considering a premium refrigerator or appliance suite, learn from our mistake and look elsewhere, this brand is simply not worth the cost, stress, or repeated failures.

Dacor Customer Service is really BAD! Don't buy. I have a Dacor Gas Stove insert. It is relatively new, but not longer in production. The ignitor went out...a $18 part, but they no longer make spare parts. Called customer service and told I am SOL. High end stove and using a lighter to ignite it. They could not care less and just said sorry. BAD...Really BAD! Parent company is Samsung.

I have gas cooktop from Dacor, purchased just 10 years ago. It worked fine, but now it is broken. Their service came, charged my $180.00 and did nothing because no spare parts exists for it. Dacor appliance looks nice, but quality of them is not good. Service and parts are non-existent. I will never purchase any Dacor appliance.

Fridge: 3 repairs in 4 years. 3 days of time for the repairman each time. Each time, Dacor tried to tell us the warranty wasn't covered. I had to threaten legal action to get them to honor their warranty on their twice previously repaired part. And I was serious. I'm to the point where I'll spend money on an attorney rather than let these sleezebags get away with not honoring their warranties. They tried EVERYTHING not to pay for those repairs Lies. Deceit. You name it.

As a high end, kitchen and bath company owner, I feel it is necessary to warn people about Dacor appliances. They are expensive and unreliable. I purchased a new home with all new Dacor appliances. Within 2 weeks, my dishwasher went out. Customer service ordered 3 parts for it and sent someone out to fix it 8 days after our complaint. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The technician ordered a 4th part and expected to make another try on a week or so. We will be 3 weeks without a working appliance.

The biggest concern of course is why would a company rebuild a brand new appliance? These appliances are expensive and you would hope there would be some level of customer service. The Dacor representative said this is their process and we'd need to let them try to fix it again. Of course our hands are tied right now and are at the mercy of Dacor. I am not alone with my complaint. This seems to be a company issue. Please be careful and reconsider your appliance selection. Dacor is not a company you want to purchase anything from.

We purchased a Dacor Refrigerator in March 2019 for $3999. The ice maker and flexible temperature drawer were repaired under warranty. One of the repairmen told us Samsung now owns Dacor and is putting Samsung ice makers in Dacor unit. In August 2025 the refrigerator began failing to cool properly. Our home warranty sent 2 different repair companies.. Multiple parts were replaced. After several visits both eventually admitted they could not fix it. We thought we were splurging on a quality appliance. At this point I would never recommend Dacor or Samsung.

We purchased refrigerator, stovetop and oven from Dacor 4 years ago. I can tell you that all of products had and or have problems between the oven that stop working seems like the touchscreen defective, the fridge compressor broke last year and more. The problem is that the warranty expired after 2 years and than you stuck with a high service bill and part for appliances we purchased for almost 30k. I would not recommend this brand to anyone. One of the worst decisions we made.
