    Our blinds and shutter installation by Preston and Brett from Budget Blinds of Land O’Lakes was an outstanding experience from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked with impressive precision, and treated our home with genuine care. Their craftsmanship was evident in every perfectly aligned shutter and smoothly operating blind. Just as impressive was their professionalism—friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to getting every detail right. They walked us through the features, ensured everything fit flawlessly, and left the space spotless. Thanks to Preston and Brett, our home looks brighter, cleaner, and beautifully finished. Their work exceeded every expectation.

      I purchased two plantation shutters from your company, and unfortunately, both experiences have been extremely disappointing. For the first shutter, the installers were unable to complete the installation due to two electrical outlets being in the way. However, when the estimator initially came out, this issue was never mentioned. As a result, after already waiting five months, I had to reschedule the installation and pay out of pocket for an electrician and drywall work—something that should have been identified upfront.

      The second shutter, for my door, has been an even bigger issue. The color is incorrect, and despite being told by a manager that I would receive a follow-up call, it has now been a couple of months with no communication or resolution. Overall, this has been a frustrating and time-consuming experience. Based on the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and unresolved issues, I cannot recommend your company to my customers or others. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to these concerns.

      I worked with BB of Concord NH in the fall of 2025. Aaron came to my house to review what I needed. I bought 5 shades. Aaron said they would look exactly like the shades that are on the windows now. I was appalled when they were installed. The have a cheap string through the middle of them. I immediate approached Aaron who apologized and said he would see what could be done. I asked Cheyenne for help also. Aaron later on said he told me they would have a string, which is a lie. The company said they could not do anything and all sales are final. I have very cheap looking shades on 5 of my windows now. The disappointing thing is that the company both lied to me and did not try to help.

      My experience with Budget Blinds. Leigh came to the house & was very friendly but she needs more knowledge. As my first experience with black- out blinds she should have let me know I should have ordered a lighter white so as not to have the shades look gray when they are installed, also the whites on these shades are not all the same color white so not sure my order to the manufacturer was correct. I must tell you the person / installer was wonderful though.

      This is the 2nd time that we’ve purchased blinds for our entire home from Budget Blinds. I must say, this time has been a horrible experience and I’ll never purchase from them again. From the start being told it’d be 4-6 weeks until our blinds would come in and it was way longer than the time quoted. Each time I’d call and supposed to get a call back it rarely happened and I’d end up calling them back. Their communication needs a lot of improvement. Finally got our blinds in approx 3 months after ordering. Approx 1-2 months after installation, 1 of our blinds wouldn’t raise. They said it couldn’t be fixed, it’d need to be replaced. That was reordered on Oct 14th.

      It’s been over 3 months to get 1 blind replaced. And I had called before Christmas and was told it was being shipped that following Monday and they’d call about installation. Again, no communication from them. I finally got to talk to someone today (1-21) and told that it was expected to be delivered to them on Jan 29th. This whole thing has been very aggravating to say the least. They’ve definitely lost a customer.

      I am completely dissatisfied with my experience with this company. Mark ** came out to my house at the end of July 2025 and took measurements for shades for my house. I paid a down payment to get the job started. Now, it's January 2026 and I still have no shades. I have tried to call Mark ** and he came up with many excuses. Now, I when I call, no answer, no texting messages are returned, no email communication with Mark **. Mark ** told me earlier that he would come to my home and refund my money but as of this date, he has not followed up with his commitment. Again, this is a horrible company to work with.

      Plantation blinds. They are poorly installed/made/measured, they don't close properly, will not stay closed as the magnets don't even touch at the top. The price is higher than custom blinds. They do not filter the light as there are over 1/2 inch gaps at the top and the bottom hits the frame. The slats don't close properly. Riverside budget blinds came back out and said they meet manufacturer's specifications of which I can't find on their site. I am stuck with this as four shutters cost $4,678.00.

      Here’s a smoother version with the same points, just tightened and better flowing:

      > In 2021, I purchased two motorized TDBU cellular shades for just over $2,000 from the Budget Blinds of York and Hanover franchise. They were installed with Simplicity motors and integrated into my smart home using a Neo Smart Hub. This setup was recommended by the franchise at the time of sale and allowed for Amazon Alexa voice control and scheduled automation. Those smart features were central to my decision to buy and are still advertised as part of Budget Blinds’ Smart Home offering. The franchise has now told me I can purchase a new hub after they install a new blind, but they have refused to tell me what that hub would cost.

      > On June 20, 2025, I submitted a warranty claim for a minor stain on one shade under the “No Questions Asked Lifetime Warranty.” Since then, I have exchanged more than forty emails with the local office. I still do not have a claim number, a clear replacement plan, or basic product specifications for what they intend to install.

      > The franchise has offered to replace the shades and cover labor, which I appreciate. However, they have not been able to confirm which motor will be used or whether it will support the smart home features I currently rely on. I was told that the manufacturer will not disclose the motor model due to proprietary restrictions and that the motor has changed. They also cannot confirm that the new system will remain compatible with my existing Neo hub.

      > I have repeatedly asked for basic technical details so I can verify compatibility myself or understand whether a different hub would be required. No specific information has been provided. I also asked for the cost and capabilities of the proposed replacement hub, but that information has not been disclosed.

      > This is a showroom-based franchise representing a premium brand. Customers should not be asked to approve a warranty replacement without knowing what product they are receiving or whether it will maintain the functionality originally delivered. A “No Questions Asked Lifetime Warranty” should not involve weeks of delay, incomplete answers, or an expectation that the customer absorb additional cost and risk just to get back to what they already had. I am not asking for an upgrade. I am simply asking to retain the smart features that were part of my original purchase and are still part of Budget Blinds’ current marketing. Their handling of my claim has been opaque, unhelpful, and inconsistent with the warranty promise.
