Broil King

Nice quality BBQ...BUT - Only problems is the design of the burners, it won't keep a steady temperature...After it warms up to 400F you can't keep it there...Even on LOW setting it will eventually climb up to 550F... Go with Weber...They have the best temperature control system.

Purchased two years ago. Ignites with a AAA battery which rusted and corroded after the first rain it ever saw. Burners had to be replaced after the first year. This was free, but the service call was $169. Grates are covered in rust in spite of curing them and are beyond repair. Another costly $170 replacement. BBQ was expensive and not user friendly to assemble. Often have issues with gas flow between tank and BBQ. Paint has started chipping in many places as well. I am now into this thing for over $1000. Should have just purchased a $69 Wal-Mart Special--or 12 of them with the money this one has cost. Avoid this BBQ like the plague. Extremely dissatisfied with this lemon. Will never buy another Broil King product. This thing is a POS.

I would never buy another Broil King smoker grill based solely on the fact that the customer service is beyond horrible. I paid over $1500 for a grill that was supposed to have wifi. From the beginning it had problems heating up and then if it did it would sometimes take off on the heat and go up to 600 degrees on its own. They sent me a new board for it and it fixed that but now the wifi won't work. I have called in multi times over 8 weeks and I get everything from sometimes and works and sometimes it doesn't to we need our app developer to call you but no one ever does. I will never buy from such a shady company again.

Does a great job grilling. The body of the grill has been solid, but the foundation is cheap plastic. The wheel assembly broke off and is not replaceable since it broke at the bottom of the foundation. Also tops and bottom of doors are inserts with plastic knobs that have broken off so doors no longer usable.

I have a smaller one for my deck. It works great. I don't have to worry about it getting too hot on the outside so I can place it near the door. That way I can check on what I'm grilling easily and not have to be standing by the grill every minute. Plus you can adjust the heat for everything you grill without worrying about burning or over-cooking. I love it.

I had a model with 4 conventional burners and 1 infrared burner. I was quite impressed with its conventional burners...good quality and well made. I feel they could have been a bit more powerful though. Overall the build is sturdy and the stainless steel was fabricated well. The casters, as with most heavy grills like this, are a bit small and causes the skirting to drag on uneven ground causing some problems moving it from place to place. The infrared burner is hard to review since it only came on one time and then never worked again unfortunately.

I am a third time buyer for Broil King. The BBQ cooks your food perfectly and evenly. I previously purchased my other BBQ at Reno Depot hassle free. I've been so happy with my other BBQ's that I will stay with the brand name Broil King.

This barbecue signet 90 did not cook evenly from day 1 but the best is after only 2 yrs which you do not know about, the grills rusted completely even though I oiled it every time and before storing for winter. The best is customer service tells you that you can only use lint seed oil or avocado oil on it as it has a higher heat displacement but nowhere in the instructions does it say what type of oil only to use oil on the grills. That is false advertising and for a barbecue that cost 750 dollars you would expect better results. I highly discourage you to buy anything BROIL KING as you will be highly disappointed with them not to mention warranty is crap.

Bought one of their now discontinued models. The workmanship was shoddy because of the use of cheap plastic to secure the external trays. The igniter was faulty and stopped working after a couple of uses. The customer service was appalling when initially tried to resolve the issues and eventually to return the product. Would never recommend this brand to my friends (or enemies).

I purchased the vertical smoker. The temp gauge needle was broken. Not even attached. It’s been a year of sending emails. Still no replacement part. They keep saying it’s on the way. Total **. I will not be buying anything else made by them. If this is how they act over such a simple fix think what it would be for something hard.
