    Used to be an excellent barbecue. You could actually cook your food at its best when you were also provided a great recipe guidebook that was included with purchasing them. Not now, temperature gauges are terrible, do not work with accuracy as original ones did. This is the second one I purchased and it's exactly the same as the previous one I bought between two of the new ones I purchased in 2022 then again in 2023. Not worth the money for quality of cooking and bad store management not wanting to give warranty return when dealing with their buyers either.

    I bought the Baron S490. It had everything I wanted in a grill except assembly instructions. Contacted Broil King and they told me to go to Youtube. The youtube instructions were not for this grill. The sear burner was the wrong kind. The one in this box was a push on with a clip retention and the gas line was a screw on. They wanted pictures to know what to send me after I had already sent them pictures with an explanation of what I needed and why. After over a week of not being able to use this $1200.00 grill I took it back to the store.

      Bought a 3 burner signet to have it smell like burning paint for 5 hours and another 2 today as guided by the manufacturer to stop the smell… They then decided to tell me to cook on it to get the smell to go away… I was lost for words and at this point I was done dealing with them and went to Rona who took it back in the spot… I would have loved to cook the food and feed it to the customer service for Broil king and have their kids and family eat off of it too as that’s exactly what he told me to do when I questioned the idiot on the phone about his comment! Unbelievable honestly.

      New buy from Broil King. I purchased a beautiful Broil King Baron 590 Pro 5-Burner Natural Gas BBQ Grill in Black w/ Side Burner & Rear Rotisserie. The very first time I used it, the underneath caught fire and every natural gas hose, Control assembly, Control knob, Bezel, Electrode wire was completely destroyed. Even my deck was burnt from components melting off. My house was moments away from catching on fire and my family was in danger. I reached out to Broil King directly, supplied photos, receipts and asked for a replacement under warranty. They denied my request saying they would supply me with replacement components only. They weren't even concerned that the BBQ itself was faulty. I'm not qualified to make repairs of that magnitude. Brutal.

      Purchased the Regal S590 Pro only two months ago. The cooking box looks like it’s high-end and durable. The burners seem to be worthy of the crazy warranty. The rest of the unit feels flimsy and cheep. The $300 Charbroil disposable that this replaced had a more substantial base and side shelves. I’ve prepared about 10 meals since, and it performed nicely. It has fairly even heat distribution and the stainless steel grills are much better as compared to cast or porcelain-coated grills. It came missing a wire harness for the LED accent lights that took 6 weeks to be replaced (still can’t figure out how to install though). My biggest complaint however vain, is the large prominent “Broil King” emblem that’s rusting badly and leaking rusty water onto a two-month old $2000 until that’s on a covered deck. If you’re in the market for a high-end BBQ, I’d suggest shopping around first.

      I bought my first Broil King 3 burner 12 years ago and replaced innards just once. Used winter and summer and always cooked great and hot. Let it go when I moved recently and just bought another. The doors could be better engineered but I bought it for grilling not for cosmetics.

      I called Broil King's warranty department. They determined my barbeque is eight years old has 15 year warranty on the burners, but they have no stock, been back ordered. Don’t know if they’ll ever get them so basically there is no warranty! They suggested that I could phone every few weeks and just check if there is stock that came in so basically there is really no help, no warranty.

      I have loved my Broil King 500 Pellet Smoker. As of late it’s developed a problem. I called Broil King Canada customer service and got someone who basically did not understand the unit but relayed the info to someone who apparently does. The resolution was good if it had related to my issue but when I finally was given an opportunity to respond it clearly didn’t relate to my situation. Instead of going back to the tech I got cut off and told…”Well that’s the answer I got”. Thanks Broil King…Thanks for nothing. This is not the company we once knew years ago. I should have listened to my friends and bought a Traeger.

      The Keg paint failed in less than 2 years. I was first advised to spray paint it. I was then advised that a low temperature controller purchased 2 years after the paint failed was at fault. Buyer beware.

      Nice quality BBQ...BUT - Only problems is the design of the burners, it won't keep a steady temperature...After it warms up to 400F you can't keep it there...Even on LOW setting it will eventually climb up to 550F... Go with Weber...They have the best temperature control system.
