I called multiple times just to change my contact information and it couldn't be done in those calls. Also, the finance director could not give me a straight answer when I was asking if another customer service person had told the truth in saying that a waiver of a late fee had been granted since I had paid my bill weeks in advance.
The process of scheduling an appliance service repair is the least customer friendly experience I've ever experienced. One has to call to be given an arbitrary day that works for them (you don't get to pick a time mind you), they then call you the afternoon day before your appointment and then assign you a 2 hour window with less than 24h notice. This process leaves you with one option and that is to take a full day from work or life to accommodate their schedule. We inherited an extended warranty policy on our appliance when we bought our house, but as soon as that is done, they will never have my business again. Can't speak about the actual work they do yet, but not a good way to start a customer experience. It is unthinkable that businesses think they can retain business long-term with such lack of customer service and consideration.
Do not use this company! I called to schedule an appointment to have a water line installed for my new refrigerator. I was told it would be around $140. When the technician arrived he was rude and told me it would be $250. It was much higher than I was told, but I was already going to be charged $50 for the estimate, so I accepted the rate. The technician was able to complete it right then and it took him all of 15 minutes. He called me downstairs to let me know he was finished, scribbled a few words on an invoice and asked for payment. I gave him the check and he left, as rudely as he came in.
After he left, I went to my basement to see how he had installed the water line. He used one of my coolers as a ladder and left the area where he worked an absolute disaster. I then went back upstairs and needed to pull the fridge away from the wall to clean up all of the debris he'd crammed into the fridge space. For $250, he couldn't even leave my home the way he found it! I then called the office to let them know of my concerns. It appears rudeness is their motto as the receptionist I spoke to could have cared less about the inaccurate price I was originally given, and the state in which my home was left after the technician had completed the work. Worst home service experience of my entire life!!!
Bought new refrigerator from Appliance Factory in Centennial, CO on May 13th. Delivered the morning of May 15th. Not working and was told to call Brand Source. They came out four days later May 18th and we were told they would order the parts needed and would have in 5 business days. We called today to check on the ordered parts and to see when they could come out. They never ordered them. Now we are being told seven business days before they get the parts in. We asked if they could expedite and he said no. Here we sit without a refrigerator and it will be 2 plus weeks. We have lost hundreds of dollars in food! Neither Appliance Factor who won’t replace this or Brand Source who failed to order the parts on a new refrigerator will do anything for us. TERRIBLE COMPANIES! TERRIBLE SERVICE!
I purchased an extended warranty from Brand Source through Appliance Factory. It is a "Performance Guarantee" on paper. Now that I need a warranty repair, brand source is not honoring their contract. Not only that, they have lied to me on the phone on multiple occasions as to why they cannot cover my repair on warranty, and they want $414 to replace the malfunctioning part. It is obvious that they are very willing to sell extended warranties, and enjoy the income, and then happily not honor what they sell. If you care to hear the details, read on. My oven is now 1.5 years old, and the hinges will not keep the door closed, and the oven loses heat. My purchased warranty states: "Your product is guaranteed to perform within factory specifications during the entire life of the plan." I purchased a 4 year plan, so I am well in the time frame. I call Brand Source about this. They tell me that the warranty will not cover this. I question why.
I am first told that they only cover manufacturer defects. I call Appliance Factory, and they tell me this is not true. I call Brand Source. They tell me that the plan does not cover normal wear and tear. I disagree. I call again. This time, they tell me that it is a manufacturer defect, and I have to call the manufacturer. I then read through the contract carefully, and dig through the fine print. The contract clearly states: "This Plan provides for the repair or replacement of your product to its standard operating condition if the product fails to perform its intended functions due to normal wear and tear or a defect in either materials or workmanship, or unless otherwise stated in the Exclusions from Coverage section of this document."
I call again, and then was informed that the hinges are excluded. In the exclusions, it states: "damage, warping, bending or rusting of any kind to the housing, cabinetry, outside casing or frame of the product or any non-operating parts, including but not limited to plastic, or decorative parts such as hinges, knobs, door lines, glass, handles, ...etc." So, they explain, the hinges are not covered. I argue that the hinges on my stove are not decorative parts. In fact, you cannot even see them, since they are embedded inside the door! Also, the hinges are key to operation. No go. They have an exclusion to exclude any issue that you want to have. So, after being lied to first, I then realize that this operation is a huge scam. Horse manure is worth more than their "Performance Guarantee." The only guarantee that it gives is guaranteed income for Brand Source, and a guaranteed scam for suckers like me that purchased it. Shame on you Brand Source.

Horrible experience. I have been without a washing machine for 2 months and STILL not fixed. 4 service calls, wrong parts, and terrible communication. I do not recommend this company at all! NEVER have I experience this kind of awful service. I finally had to give up and get a new washing machine. I have asked to talk to a supervisor and no resolution or help. I am not a customer that normally complains, but I have reached my limit. You do not know a time for arrival until the night before your appointment, so unless you can be home all day, it's really hard.
I tried to have a friend come over to be at my house so I could go to work and the person showed up early. When I didn't answer they left and wouldn't try to come back. How can I answer the phone in the middle of teaching kindergarten?! I have had to miss 2 days of work to be home. I am a single mom with a toddler with a chronic illness. My time off is pretty precious and there has been no help from this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Brand Source came out and misdiagnosed my dryer - bought a 220.00 part that did not fix a thing - also spent the 65.00 dollars on a service call that was a waste of money. They refused to come out and look at it again without charging me. Brand Source is a bad dishonest company that is not good to their word. Hopefully someone reads this and spends their money somewhere else. This business will take your money and give you ** service. Experience with Brand Source was HORRIBLE...
I purchased a Samsung WaterWall Dishwasher and it does not dry the dishes. After many phone calls, Brand Source sent out two different Servicemen to "educate me" that this appliance is more energy efficient by not actually drying the dishes. I should expect the drippy wet dishes and interior. Funny, the salesman never mentioned this feature. Many calls to the "President’s Hotline" went unanswered and only repeated calls from me to the salesman resulted in these service calls and they were only about deferring responsibility to the manufacturer’s specifications. I was also charged hidden delivery fees at delivery. I thought I would give my business to the little guy but I ended up getting the business. BEWARE.
Frigidaire stove - We purchased the warranty for $519 and have been trying to get our stove fixed for 4 years. They have sent people out who then say they need to order the part and never come back. Every time we call Brand Source back, we wind up having to argue with them. If I had my $519 back, I could just have replaced the stove. I will never purchase an extended warranty again.
I have a LG WM3988HWA washer dryer combo that has a broken hose on the internal parts of machine. I first reported on August 8 and after twice weekly calls to them I still have not had repaired. They apparently cannot find a service center, but if I want to pay Sears myself they can. This has been the most frustrating service I have ever had. Next appliance purchase will be with Sears who in the past are here within a week! Still have a broken appliance due to no service repairmen they can deal with because they are "3rd parties".
I bought a new two-door with freezer on bottom model # RF267ABRS Samsung from Brand Source Appliance with five-year extended warranty. I have not been able to get an ice maker working right and now three times, I have had to call to have repair on a unit that is less than six months old. The repair man calls the service hot line only to make the problem now terminal. I had a working refrigerator that would not hold the temperature or make ice. The service repair department must be reading the manual. What a joke.
I called customer service and they will FedEx part to replace the motherboard and the ice maker and the sensors this time. So now, I have to wait and I want it replaced. They replaced it today so I called the store. My husband called the store and JP said he would work on it. Well at the moment, no one has any urgent cares and it is the consumer that must suffer. Never again will I buy anything from Brand stores. I'm not sure any of the new appliances work right. They were foreign made. We are at the mercy of the stores and warranty on them. But a new non-functioning refrigerator should be replaced the same day so we wait.
We bought a three drawer refridgerator in Feb. In May and June of this year plastic parts began to break off. The crisper drawers, the cover for the light bulbs. We were told by the repair company that this is cosmetic and the company will not pay for it, we would have to incurr the cost ourselves. We certainly did not spend this type of money for the refidgerator to begin falling apart within months.
I do not know yet the the economic consequences will be as I still have to find aplace to buy these parts.
