So, I got my Bowflex velocore bike back in Dec. and it came with some issues on sensors or something because it's not tracking properly the lean mode and the distances keep setting to 0 during the ride. Anyways, since I got it I've been trying to get it repaired and we are in MARCH still nothing. The communication is horrible, they take weeks to go back to you, then they schedule a time where you said before you won't be at home, then they take about a couple of more weeks to go back to you again. Really, I don't understand what can be so challenging in scheduling a service repair to a brand new machine that came with defects.
It's not a cheap product, I'm still paying for it and it's been 3 months that I got it, and I can't really evaluate the product because it's been with issues since day 1 that was delivered to me. If you really have free time and the patient I would recommend doing business with them, bc if you run into some issues and need their customer services, well good luck with that!

I purchased this elliptical (Max Total) in Feb 19, for right around $3000. I think it's perfect idea for my training needs an----indoor- I have little time- low impact- with a scalable workout routine- machine. Unfortunately, it's only a concept as I see it, my machine (again $3000) did not work correctly right from the start. As of this writing (3/22), I have had at least 6 phone conversations (after waiting on hold for at least an hour each time-they actually tell you to expect this to happen) only to find that they will need to ship parts, and "I "will need to do the repair to the machine.
Now, I happen to do this sort of thing for my work, (Technical engineering) so electrical/mechanical parts changing/adjustment is a well worn path for me. BUT!! Even though it's my field, should I be expected to spend the hours I have, working on a machine that I had paid $3000 dollars for? (It's not a $300 machine, there is a huge difference in my mind). No, absolutely not, and then when I call I have to wait an hour to talk to someone, and they tell me (3X) that it will take about 2 weeks for the parts to arrive?...Whaaaaat? 2 weeks? This I pushed back on and had the part much sooner!...I did not spend $3000 on a machine for it to not work correctly, then you tell me to repair it I will have to wait 2 weeks for the parts because you don't want to pay expedited shipping costs?
Ok by now I am quite sure I am dealing with a company that really does not care about the people buying their product. I have now replaced an entire control panel, a resistance servo, a AC power supply, and a speed sensor, three of which needed a technician to adjust to the specs provided (oh by the way, I was the technician). If this was not enough, I was offered a 0% finance opportunity when I made the purchase so why not? Right? I am in a position where I can afford to pay cash for this machine, but using their money at 0% is a no brainer I thought until...So the purchase at the time gives you a 12 month membership to "Jrny", which amounts to a personal account to remember your workout history, log into following workouts on screen, suggested future workouts based on your previous, and goals set...etc. It's $20 a month. OK, great, sure, I will try it, even though I never buy these things, but it's free...sure, let's try it!
Effectively the subscription did nothing for me, but that's relative right? Each of us has our own motivators and workout style. So about half way through this (guessing here, about 12/20), I decide I had had enough of working on a $3000 dollar machine and I am tired of not getting my workouts in, and only finding a machine that does not work correctly when I get on it. My suggestion was, Ok this is really eating at me, but being the (way too nice guy) I am, I tell them, just give me an extra year of the subscription to Jrny for my efforts, and we will call it even. (Never should have done this!!!).
After sending pictures, videos, emails, and phone calls (much of them on hold) it is now 2/22 and I have a machine that is paid for, that still does not work correctly, even though I had negotiated an extra year of the Jrny membership, it turns out, THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT!!! I found this out when I went to make my final payment, and found they had been charging $20 a month to my account for months. (They finance through Synchrony Bank, so all your billing goes through this 3rd party to which most people, like myself, will setup for direct billing online. OK, more phone calls to straighten this out, BUT, it's an odd occurrence with no box to check, so of course the billing dept does not understand any of this, and they charge me for what was supposed to a "hey sorry about all the issues you are having, we will give you this for your troubles"...WHAT?
They actually charged me for months of the service that was supposed to be my "we are so sorry payment". Now I am really upset and I call the bank to dispute the charge, but of course they know nothing about it, call Nautilus and speak to someone on the phone looking at my account online and say, "OH NO, he is supposed to be paying for this, its his membership dues".
I fought for a while, and finally paid the remaining balance to keep it from affecting my credit, my argument was going nowhere with these people, to many involved, none understanding the situation as a whole, only what their computer screen shows them of my account, which quite obviously does not have a box checked that says----"The machine we sent him was a $3000 piece of junk, he was nice for a while and we tried to fix it over the phone, but we were unsuccessful, problems still occurring, no one knows what else to do." If I only knew in Feb 19, what I was getting into!!! GOOD LUCK if you dare to try it!!! It is a great concept, for Mountaineer types looking for strength/cardio training with low impact.

DO NOT PURCHASE A BOWFLEX 10! And if you require assistance be prepared to wait on the phone for 2 hours just to be told that it will take another two weeks for parts and who knows when the service person will be available. I have a $2500 dust collector because of a monitor!! After reviewing all the options for Treadmills I choose a Bowflex 10. My nightmare started shortly after delivery. After setting the machine up and starting the warranty process, the Bowflex 7 was packaged into the Bowflex 10 box! Next, the Bowflex 7 had to be returned and replaced with the Bowflex 10. Then after setup the Bowflex 10 monitor requires an update and the machine is useless without the monitor.
After waiting on hold for two hours, and I called in at 615am, I am told the part will be shipped two weeks from today. But they can't schedule a technician because that is another company and there are staff shortages. No one will take responsibility for the fact that the WRONG machine was even packaged! $2500 sitting mocking me everyday. Currently deciding on whether or not to return the product. I am so sad!!!

I paid over $1600 for a Bowflex treadmill that was supposed to include a 1 year JRNY membership. After 2 weeks, we are still unable to set up a profile in JRNY. I have called every single day since receiving the treadmill (which, by the way, was almost 3 weeks late) and been on hold ranging from 15 minutes to over 90 minutes (as my work schedule allowed) and have yet to talk to anyone. I have tried emailing, but get totally unrelated canned responses that are of absolutely no help. It seems as soon as Bowflex got my money, I've been completely ignored.

Terrible customer service. I just spend 25 minutes on the phone only to be told wait times are longer than expected and nobody ever picks up. I just disputed the charge as my only option to hold this company accountable for terrible service.

They will not help even after we sent videos & calls proving it's defective.

I purchased the Bowflex Velocore in January 2021. I also purchased the extended warranty. The product was professionally assembled. It never worked properly. I had to wait 4 months for a repair person to be scheduled. This involved multiple calls and emails on my part. When the repairman finally came, he told me that he had never repaired a Bowflex product and he was uncertain why they sent him. He was a Peloton repairman. He tightened a few screws and left, leaving me with the same problem. I gave up. I have a $3000 bike (all in) that is worthless. I also signed up for the Jrny software. I prepaid for a year. They signed me up for the free trial and also charged me for the year. However, because they signed me up for the trial, it continued charging me on a monthly basis for 4 months. They refused to refund me for that. Bowflex is a horrible company that sells terrible products.

Purchased my Bowflex C6 in October, 2020. In April 2021, while still in warranty, the speed sensor failed. I contacted customer service and the nightmare began. It was at least July before their tech came out to replace the sensor. After he was done, the sensor worked properly but after using the bike for a few minutes the wheel was grinding, dragging and banging intermittently. A tech team came out and diagnosed a faulty wheel. They ordered a replacement. The replacement arrived in September, 2021 and sat in my home gym for two months. A different tech came out on November 4, 2021 and replaced the wheel. After he left I tried to get on Zwift but even before I started pedalling my power output was at 600 watts. The level on my C6 display was "100".
I called the tech to come back but he said he couldn't and I'd have to start another service order. I did that on November 5, 2021 and I'm still waiting to hear back. In summary my C6 has not functioned properly for seven of the 14 months I've had it; each visit by a technician has made one thing better and another thing worse; my C6 is currently unusable online; I've spent literally a hundred hours on phone calls, writing emails and waiting around for techs who scheduled and never showed up - that's a whole other story. So unless you have a local tech you can call to fix your C6, don't buy a Bowflex C6.

That repair lasted about two minutes. And now we are fourteen days beyond that and still no appointment to try and fix again. Bowflex Customer service is horrible. The last call made to them today was about 30 minutes with the same scenario being offered - "We will contact GoConfigure once again and see if we can expedite. Our M5 trainer tension monitor stopped working. We bought the extended warranty and let me just say with months of patience I will never do this again with Bowflex. Our trainer has now been down for a 3 months! I called Bowflex and they tell me to remove the cover and call them back so they can walk me through the steps to see what is wrong? Called back a few days later… Rep at Bowflex said I didn’t need to do this? They just needed an explanation of what I was experiencing. So begins the runaround. They referred me to a local repair place. They open a ticket and said they will call back when parts come in. Ten days later I call. "Sorry sir… You have to call Bowflex to have part shipped?" What? Called Bowflex… "We will ship it to them." Five days later I call for status. So weird… "Let me call your repair place." Repair place calls. Supervisor. "Bowflex is supposed to ship to you. Then you call us."
Meanwhile neither company can send updates on status. The part fell into a back order status. Another month of zero communication. We finally got the part and we called to set up repair. I’m so over the lack of customer service. I basically have 3 days off a week and this scheduler tells me my schedule strange with one rotating day off during the week. “Okay…. We will see if your schedule can match our techs”. Really? Felt like I was making her life tough when I hung up. This really has been a rough couple months with Bowflex and this outsourcing company. Horrible customer service. No sense of urgency. They never offer any type of deep concern. Just another screwed up situation at Bowflex is the vibe you get.
This is our second purchase with them in last 5 yrs. I’m done. Oddly enough we had to use our warranty on the 1st purchase we made with them. Waste of money on warranty for the service you get. Too many other companies with similar offerings. So I say so long Bowflex. Keep upsetting customers and many more we follow.

I would not recommend Bowflex cardio equipment. I own both the Max Trainer M9 and the 22" Velocore bike. The Max Trainer broke down after 2 months of use -- the motor broke. I do understand that even good brands can produce a lemon from time to time. However, what is more concerning than just the fact that it broke is the service process. The replacement motor is ordered but is not expected to ship for more than a month still. Once it has arrived, then they reach back out and schedule a technician. So in total, it will be a minimum of 2 months from the date it broke down until it is repaired. That is not acceptable, even if you assume that I just received a lemon and their products are generally good.
In addition, many people may not realize that the 1 - 3 year warranty (depending on the product) applies only to parts, not labor. The warranty for labor only extends 90 days. So if your Bowflex product has an issue after 90 days, the replacement parts may be free, but the labor will not be covered by warranty. Given that the Bowflex parts are mostly plastic, the real repair costs are in the labor. So, effectively, Bowflex warranties are only 90 days.
The other big issue is the JRNY app. A significant cost of the cardio products is the monitors/displays. But unless you subscribe to the JRNY app, the monitors/displays are not of much use. You cannot even use them to watch your Hulu/Netflix/Amazon Prime services unless you buy the JRNY membership. Which is quite expensive at $19.99 per month, although there are annual memberships available. But the bigger issue is not the cost, it is that the JRNY service is not well developed. There is not much content and is not often updated. The app is extremely buggy and crashes constantly. But most frustratingly of all, unlike most every other app in existence, you can't manage it at all. You don't even have visibility into the type of membership you have (trial, monthly, annual). If you want to do anything, or learn anything, about your membership, you have to call customer service.
I have spend over an hour and half total with customer service, trying to manage my membership. For example, I called to activate annual, but they activated monthly, and charged me the much higher rate. Once I discovered this through my credit card statement (again, there is no way to get any information about your subscription through the app itself), I called back to switch it to an annual plan. Instead, they cancelled my subscription all together. Requiring another 40 minute call to re-subscribe. When I voiced a bit of frustration about the subscription process, I was told that "we make exercise equipment, not apps". All told, a very disappointing experience with Bowflect cardio equipment. I would absolutely not recommend given the ongoing frustrations with warranty, customer service, and the practically unusable (yet essentially required) membership service.

The day the key was supposed to be shipped, my wife noticed the shipping date had been changed to Sept 2021. They did not notify my wife, she just happened to look herself. They have a very specific safety key so there's no other options so we now have an $1800 paperweight in the garage. It's not like this treadmill is 10 years old, it's literally still under warranty and she can't use it. So disgusted with Bowflex as they have been zero help. But, within 3 weeks pedals became wobbly, first on right then left. We took off the pedal and saw poor threading on the crank arms. Bowflex was good to agree to replace parts. BUT, that was early April and now the parts come in pieces, some not expected until June 29th. Not even an instruction manual to replace a crank arm. (Was not part of our initial set up.) The latest has an “estimated” shipping date for another 20 days out from today, which will be over 5 months waiting. I should have gone through a third party but thought going straight to the company would be best. Wrong!!! Can only cancel by calling, during their working hours which are pretty much in line with mine, making it hard to call. Emailed to check status and the emailed response didn’t bother to read what I wrote and then told me they can’t find my order in the system. Did live chat today and they see it’s fulfilled and can be shipped any day with the 25th being the latest.
I find it very hard to believe at this point and am so upset by the lack of professionalism or concerns about fulfilling customer orders. I’m sure at this point they have stock back in the stores and I know it’s all over FB Marketplace, but I really trusted that a company with such a large following would do better than this. I’m beyond disappointed and just want the stupid product or refund.

So the day the bike came and I found the part defective I called bow flex which they would send a replacement part and used my factory warranty. Now this was in mid-march and I was told it would not be shipped to the Dell factory until May 19, 2021, that would mean I may not see this part until close to the end of May 2021.
I have the bike put together all but this part, I can not use this bike until it arrives. If that was not enough I was missing an accessory part which did come a lot sooner. Now as I still wait to use my new Bow Flex bike, I get the first payment due... I had to call the bank up and explain that I'll still waiting for this part and not even used it yet, so I did get them to hold off until I can call them back. This conversation took another hour because it did not seem as though anyone knew how to make that correction so they ended up cancelling the entire order and resubmitting it with the correct information. Turns out, in the time it took to do that, the new order (same items) ship date increased by two weeks. Annoying but I can be patient.
Now it is 10 days past the ship date for one of the items. The website clearly states in many places that when your item ships you will receive notification by email and if your ship date changes you will be notified. I have received no notifications from the company and the website still lists the now past ship date, with no changes. I called customer service to inquire. After listening to countless recorded messages telling me to visit the website, I remained online to speak to a customer service rep. The automated system asked me to input my order #, which I did.
