I purchased a ProForm treadmill because I was looking for an at home piece of equipment. This fell within my price range and I had seen some good reviews of this company. Once I received it, I was pleased to see that it was a well built treadmill and that came with a free trial to IFit. The machine was easy to set up and does fold up to conserve space. The IFit trial is great because it works in conjunction with the treadmill to mimic intensity and terrain changes. The user does have the option to choose from many trainers from around the world so that you can always find a program to keep you interested. I bought this product just looking for a routine treadmill but I received a machine that I think will keep me motivated to continue with my workouts from home. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
I ordered this treadmill in mid August. The first one arrived damaged on 9/11 so they took it back and had another one ordered which arrived on 9/22. I paid the additional $200 to have them deliver and set up. The 2 men delivering apparently did not know what they were doing and I can't even use the machine. It wobbles so bad and there are parts missing. I called and now can’t get anyone to respond or come out to fix so I have this $2000 waste of space in my living room. Someone please help!!!!
Andrea
We are sorry for the trouble with a second delivery and that assembly doesn’t seem to have been completed correctly. How have you been reaching out to us for assistance in this matter?

I purchased my ProForm 9000 treadmill in February. It looks great. The screen is beautiful and it’s easy to use. Unfortunately this treadmill is a terrible design. The top part of the treadmill shakes so bad even while walking. It has now shook so much my screen is starting to glitch out and my treadmill is starting and stopping on its own. I’m so bummed about it. My $300 Weslo treadmill from Walmart was more sturdy and better than this. If you are in the market do not get this one.
Rachel
We’re glad you like the appearance of this treadmill and the screen, but are sorry this unit seems to shake and make the screen glitch.
This unusual issue indicates that this treadmill unit is operating as designed. We would like to help troubleshoot.
Please message us directly on Facebook so we can look into your warranties and offer any solutions available to improve your experience with this equipment.

I have been using my Proform items for awhile now and love them. This time I got a treadmill. It automatically inclines and changes speed. I have personalized workouts and so much more. This is a great product and I definitely recommend it. Customer service has been very quick and helpful. I received a discounted product in exchange for my honest feedback. I am very happy with their products.
I am a treadmill runner for a while. I have had different treadmills and recently purchased a ProForm 795. My order No **. The design is perfect with many options. The most important factor in a treadmill is structural design and strength during running and damping the shocks from the runner. This is very well designed and damps when we run on the belt. The treadmill has some issues and customer service treated me very well to fix it. Generally, the customer service is very strong and good. They contacted me every day to sort my issues. I recommend it to everyone who wants to get a good quality product and give them five star because six star option is not available.
In December of 2020, we bought a brand-new ProForm treadmill from the company's official website. The treadmill was no longer useful in August of 2021, since the treadmill often stopped abruptly which might cause injury. ProForm instructed us to fix issues on our own via emails. We were asked to provide pictures, information, and videos in the first few emails, which we did. Then we got emails asking us to inspect the different parts of the treadmill and fix the issues on our own, which we all did immediately. We've been told to check the equipment, adjust the belt, and open the machine to investigate the wiring.
On 09/06, we were told to inspect the lights, so we opened the treadmill and looked at the LED lights. We sent an email back with the results, but haven't heard anything since. We didn't want to further damage the costly treadmill while the fixes on our own not successful, we at the meantime, requested them sending a tech to look into it further; however, they showed little interest in doing so. There has been no response from them since then, regardless of how often we checked in (every three days or so) till now. They may have lost interest in helping us find a solution. And this is where the complaint stems from.
Sharon

I have looked and researched different brands but I decided to stick with ProForm. I had one piece of equipment that we really liked and decided to go ahead and try another one. Therefore I purchased a ProForm Treadmill. My treadmill came with a busted footrail. I called customer service and told them what was wrong. They got the replacement part ordered and sent to me in no time at all. Assembly was easiest with two people. It is a very massive machine but folds for easy storage and has wheels for easy moving. So far we love it and are so glad we stuck with ProForm.
Sara
We are so happy that your replacement part arrived quickly and that you have been able to use your treadmill for successful workouts now. This is what it's all about. Keep up that awesome motivation!

We were excited to purchase this machine after positive reviews from some friends. We were also happy to see how quickly it shipped and was delivered to us (in about a week). After putting it together, we very quickly had an issue with the motor belt - it broke into two and would not stay in place. It was replaced, and had the same issue within a couple weeks - the motor belt wore down and wouldn't stay in place, rendering the treadmill useless.
When it came time to replace again with the third motor belt, I requested that Proform schedule a technician to replace the motor belt, as I was concerned of a recurring issue and wanted them to troubleshoot. They complied, and a technician replaced the motor belt and adjusted the alignment of the motor when he came out. A couple weeks passed, and the same issue has happened again - the motor belt wore down and broke off. This time, Proform put this in their Legal department's hands (presumably because I fell off the machine when the belt suddenly stopped due to the motor belt falling off because it was so worn down). I am now forced to wait 30 days for the Legal department to get back to me via email or letter to my home.
I now sit and wait. Every time this has happened, we end up losing 2-3 weeks. 2-3 weeks where we cannot use the treadmill x 3 times, now add 30 more days until I can even get in contact with someone who will do something. Purchasing this machine was supposed to allow me to work out more regularly out of my home, and it has literally done the opposite. This is an extremely frustrating situation and there is nothing we can do right now. I'd recommend finding a different machine with either better components and/or better customer service.
Colleen
We apologize that this treadmill unit had this unusual recurring issue for a fourth time even after being repaired by a professional.
It is our policy to report any event of personal injury to our legal department, which will be sure to take care of you. We understand your impatience after all that has happened since your purchase.
We are confident that this issue will get resolved satisfactorily. After a resolution is reached, please return to give us an update.

We purchased this treadmill in May 2021. Within a month we gave issues with the device and request service. They were supposed to send 3 parts. One arrived within 2 weeks, second one after a months and the 3rd one is not here yet (9/9/2021). We have called more than 5-6 times and only lip service and apology. They try hard to avoid the return of the device.
Mani

They sold me a Proform Treadmill Pro 900, and from day one it had the squicky noise when going on an incline. I had a technician from the company come, and they just added lube. One week later the machine starts to make the noise again. Then I call, and they tell me I have to fix it myself with the help of a technician on the phone. That they won't come, despite me paying extra money for an extended service plan. What if I damage the machine in the process? This company only cares to sell you on their machines and IFIT. That is it, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM THEM. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!
Alvaro
We’re sorry that the Member Care service you experienced did not provide a technician the second time you requested services. Services available depend upon the warranty company.
But we assure you, this is not a scam.

My husband and I, before March 2020, started going to the gym to get in better shape. Unfortunately, COVID hit, and we were not able to go to the gym and had to find alternatives. After looking at different options, and doing our research, we decided that we need to get a treadmill that will be compact and be able to fold up, to save us space. I decided to call up ProForm and ask them several questions about their products, their warranty, etc. I was very pleased to hear someone that was able to answer all my questions and someone that I was able to understand (always willing to support a company that does not outsource).
After purchasing the ProForm treadmill, I needed help as the box was damaged during shipment. They were able to assist me with the part that needed to be replaced and even followed up with me to make sure that the treadmill was in full working order once the part arrived. Very impressed with the customer service. I received discounted product in exchange for my honest feedback.
Totally love my Proform Treadmill. The incline is just like the ones at the military base gyms. Also, I like that you can do this at home instead of the public gym. Easy to use and honestly took me 15 minutes to assemble.
Michelle
Way to go! Assembling a treadmill in 15 minutes is a real achievement! We’re so glad you are excited about using this machine to improve your overall health and wellness as you exercise consistently.
Keep up the great enthusiasm and you’ll go far! If you ever need anything, contact us at ce@ProForm.com and we will be happy to help.

I ordered a ProForm 9000 treadmill at the end of MAY. I paid for "white glove delivery and assembly." What I got was two foul-smelling men who obviously never assembled a treadmill before. I took them hours and when they were finished, they couldn't get out the door fast enough. After they left, I noticed the treadmill was leaning to the right--obviously something was off. I had my husband troubleshoot the issue...After we counted TWELVE bolts/screws missing, we stopped counting and called ProForm immediately to complain-- THAT'S A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!!! The best they could to do rectify the situation was send another install kit and a "new team" to re-assemble the treadmill in FOUR WEEKS.
I declined the offer and asked for a full refund and to schedule a return of the equipment. It's almost AUGUST and this treadmill is still in my garage!! After several failed attempts to schedule a return, I was finally able to get a date on the books-- ONLY TO HAVE THE RETURN COMPANY NOT SHOW!! You've got to be kidding me at this point! So now I have to take another day off work and hopefully get this thing out of my house... I'm beyond disappointed. I was so excited to purchase this equipment and it's been a nightmare. ProForm should really reconsider their third party vendors. What a waste of time/money.
Abby
We are very sorry for the experience you have had with the assembly and removal of your treadmill. You are correct, we do use a third party to assist with the delivery and assembly of our products. We’ll pass this information along in order to provide better service to our customers.
You deserve the best service possible. We would like to assist you in getting this situation resolved. Please message us directly on Facebook so we can speak with you further.

I ordered a Pro-Form compact treadmill! I was very pleased with the delivery time and the easy assembly. I have used this treadmill for several weeks now, and I love how sturdy and durable it is. My husband even commented on how sturdy it is. I also love how easy it is to fold up, so it doesn't take up so much room in our tiny living room! Definitely a win! I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review!
I purchased this treadmill on June 3rd online and secured the loan through TD Bank. The website says delivery in 10-14 days. TD bank fit loan said my dashboard would be set up within 2 to 3 days but since it's connected to Proform wouldn't start the payment process until I received the treadmill. I tracked the delivery on the app. It arrived in a major city 30 miles away on June 10th and hasn't moved from Tampa warehouse since and it has been 19 days. I've called and talked with customer service 4 times asking what was going on. Each time customer service put the delivery off for another week. Not 1 time have I heard from Proform. I spend $2,100 on 1 of their treadmills and the complete noncommunication from Proform is completely unacceptable.
I was told on June 24th 2021 that my treadmill would be delivered on July 1st and that I would receive a call so they can make an appointment for July 1st to come out and set it up. Yes I even paid the $250 for someone to set it up. If not delivered on their 2nd 6 day extension I will be canceling the treadmill and going to their competition. They have 36 hours. It has almost been 30 days when their website states 10-14 days. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
Rodney
We agree, this experience is unacceptable and we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. It is very uncommon for an order to be held in one location for an extended amount of time.
We understand that this is a frustrating situation and want to ensure that you receive your treadmill as soon as possible. We will be more than happy to provide you with shipping updates. Feel free to message us directly on Facebook where we can help you further.

When I received my treadmill, I had no idea it would be smarter than me! The product is the highest quality, but the smart equipment went right over my head. Every time I contact customer service, they are quick to respond and provide the highest quality support. I walk away feeling empowered and supported. I did receive product at a discount for my honest opinion.

I received the ProForm 2000 treadmill and can't say enough good things about it. This treadmill came with great instructions and was easy to put together. It had step by step instructions and other than needing a set of hands to help hold things it was pretty easy to put together with just one person doing the work. I absolutely love this treadmill. I am so glad I decided to try this out.
I do not have much space in my home so I have turned my storage room into a workout storage area. While this treadmill is large and takes up room while being used it does a great job of folding up and using very little space when not in use. The treadmill comes with one free year of IFIT which is a personal trainer workout program where you can work out while looking at beautiful scenery and following along with a professional. I love this item, it even has bluetooth to listen to music or shows while you work out. I feel so much more accomplished and happy with myself when I force myself to get up and exercise rather than sitting around all day. I am very happy with this product. I was given this product at a discounted rate for my honest unbiased opinion.
As I researched all of the other treadmills, I found the ProForm Pro 2000 Smart Treadmill to be the best one out there. From delivery to setup I have had zero problems. Folds up nice to give you more space. Nice pockets to store my water and towel on. It also has two bars to grab onto for balance, a built in fan and also bluetooth connections. Having 1 year iFit free membership has helped me to up my workout, I get so much more out of it and would have never thought I needed it. I am so glad I made this purchase, it has helped my body and mind. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I have the Pro Form Pro 2000 Smart Treadmill. Not only does this work my body, but having iFit, it works my mind as well. The workouts and the trainers are amazing, and always providing great directives for mind, body and soul. The screen provides a clear picture, the fan keeps me cool and is all around just easy to use. The ability to connect my music via bluetooth and still hear my trainer on iFit is equally amazing, other designs I looked at you had to choose one or the other. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Very solid machine, easy to navigate & controls are easy to reach and use. I received the Proform Pro 2000 Smart Treadmill at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest feedback. Easy to assemble, with full instructions and all the hardware and tools included. This did require help to assemble, but took very little time, with only a few parts. Speaker sound quality is nice, and you can easily adjust the volume of the music and trainer individually. This Smart treadmill has a smooth operation, and a hydraulic lift that makes it easy to lift up, for space saving when not in use.
The iFit membership, that was included is amazing. So many different workout options, taking you to beautiful locations, and lots of information and even a few history lessons, makes this very enjoyable. Treadmill auto adjusts speed, and incline and keeps track of your progress, making it a challenge each time you use it. I personally can't get enough & look forward to my daily workouts.
Belt was noisy and rubbing from the day I set it up. I have been trying for 5 months to get a service tech to my home to repair the noisy belt. Sometimes weeks pass by before emails are answered. So far, I've been given instructions on belt adjustment and even sent a new roller and asked if I was comfortable installing it. I am not and want a tech to do what I paid for-a long expensive warranty. So far no tech has contacted me. Do not buy this product. You'll never get service if needed. I wish I could return it and buy from a more reputable brand.
This treadmill from ProForm is great. The set up is so easy and simple to follow. The equipment is sturdy and well-built. The quality is great! I received a discounted product for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I intended to pay for my treadmill in full, upfront, no financing, no payments. I had more than enough money in my account at the time to cover the cost. I was not told that a) they would run it in two separate transactions/payments, or b) that there was some kind of "glitch" with the second payment. A full two months after I paid for the bike - thinking I had paid in full - I was hit with a $500 withdrawal from my bank account. I typically live on a very tight budget and have to plan far in advance for purchases like this, so this unexpected withdrawal put me in a world of hurt financially. I've now got less than $100 to live off for the next two weeks, with bills coming up that I won't be able to pay.
I contacted Customer Service. They referred me to Billing. I've emailed Billing three times now over the course of three weeks and gotten no response. Not even a go ** yourself. So far, the treadmill itself works great and I love iFit, but the customer service SUCKS. Holy crap. If they had even just told me about the upcoming second payment, I could have prepared better. But I wasn't even informed about the so-called "glitch" and delayed second transaction.
So after six months of research I finally picked the ProForm Carbon T7. I was able to go to my local store and get on it and try it out and absolutely loved it! So in February 27 I jumped online and made my order paid in full, it did say that due to high demand it wouldn’t ship until March 17. No problem. I can wait. March 17 came and went, finally on March 23 I got an email, "Your product Has finally shipped." I was ecstatic!!! I tracked it all the way to my town, it got into my town on April 6 so I figured any day now I should have my treadmill. I waited until around the 10th and I called them, they said, "Yep you should be hearing from somebody anytime now." Called again on April 15 and was told, "There’s a bit of a delay due to Covid but you’ll be hearing from them anytime now." OK I waited.
April 22 one month after my item was shipped I called and said it’s something wrong, do I need to pick it up myself and was told my item was damaged during shipping. OK I get it things happen so they promised, "Don’t worry. We’re going to send out a new treadmill for you on April 30." OK cool. I can wait. On May 3 I called and said, "Hey do you have a tracking number," and was told, "No we didn’t have enough treadmills to send another one out to you..." WHAT? I was told, "We get another shipment in on May 7. Will make sure that you’re on the list to get a treadmill sent out to you." OK I’ll give you one more chance… So May 11 when I didn’t get a email I called and said, "Hey what’s going on????" Only to be told, "No we weren’t able to ship one out to you but will definitely get one out to you on May 19." Are you kidding me??? 75 days since I made my order!
When I said no thanks give me a refund the lady started telling me I needed to be patient. It “should” be shipped out on the 19th. I’m so disappointed in them. It’s like I didn’t matter once I made my payment in full. I can’t honestly say that this has been multiple people's experience but it was mine so all I can say is buyer beware!!!
I bought a Proform treadmill Model PTFL99518.3 and the 4 years extended service warranty. Four months after buying it it started to corrode in the frame. I contacted the service 4 times during January and they never answered. On April 9 2021, I contacted them on the phone. The lady asked me to download an app and go on a video call. She wanted to see my treadmill, but she had another hidden motive. She wanted me to open the hood of the machine. I told her I could not do that. She then said that she saw a car in the garage and because of that they will not honor the warranty. She stated the moisture comes from the car. This machine still under manufacturer warranty and it doesn't say that a car can't be in a garage. She wanted the video call in order to find a reason to deny the service and not sending a technician. This is a clearly deceptive customer service practice. Don't do business with this people!
I bought a Proform 6.0 Sport Treadmill through Costco in Sep 2019. Right after the warranty expired, the belt started tearing up around Mar 2021. I ordered for a new belt with Proform Technician to come and fix it. For two times in a row they sent a belt of the incorrect size and they asked me to pay for return shipping. During my call with their support I also found that the belt that came with the machine when I purchased was an incorrect one as well. Finally I gave up and going to junk the treadmill and buy a new one.
Quiet, great investment, I love the automatic incline. It does have the iFit but I haven’t set it up yet to do the work out they do offer, but I will do that this week so I can see how fun it is. As of right now I’m just doing manual work out. The graphics are great.
For what we use it for it works very well. Belt is very strong. Also the motor is quieter than the others. The computer that shows your progress is very good and easy to navigate through like miles and incline settings. Programs that are listed are very good.
I’m a senior citizen. The Cadence WLT helped me to get back in shape. With the people on the monitor it encourages me. My son almost 30 start using the machine once he saw me working out. The machine with me doing the workout strengthen me to last a little longer as time went by.
I bought the Cadence WLT treadmill. I think this could have been a bit more sturdy. I fear if I tried to run on it it would break, so won't try. Also it doesn't have any way of inclination. The belt is a bit iffy, I have to be careful not to cause it to slip so I hang on to the bars most of the time. My husband is ok with it as it serves his purpose. He only walks also. We are in our sixties and I have a bad back and my husband has had 2 hip replacements. If you are young and/or very active this is probably not a good enough model for you. They do have better ones.
Assembly was easy (with 2 people) and it has been a simple but reliable treadmill. I like the incline feature and it can fold up to take up less space. I’m tall and the belt is plenty long enough to walk or jog.
I have had 2, only because when I moved I did not want to dismantle and carry (they are heavy of course) and reassemble. Both were very well made and has 10 speeds, 10 heights. Love it. Spend 1 hour daily on the machine.
I have owned two ProForm treadmills. Both were and are used twice daily for over 340 days per year. The first was literally used so much over seven year span that the motor begin making noises and finally shut down. The second ZT4 has been working for five years and is still going strong. The ProForm equipment has been sturdy enough to take the pounding required when walking or jogging. The features accompanying the latest treadmill are sufficient and work well and especially the upper body fan. The only improvement I would suggest is that the manufacturer would send lubricating oil to owners each year. Overall, I am pleased with the treadmill, the manufacturer's extended warranty offers, and cost associated with ownership.
Having a treadmill at home is good. Especially during the pandemic. Overall you really have to be focused. On a mission. I’m enjoying mine especially the trainer. They keep challenging to go further. Set that special time and go for your gusto. Try and focus on your goals.
I purchased a city l6 treadmill at the end of January. When it arrive I was so excited. I used it a handful of times before it started making this god awful sound. I reached out to the customer service and they gave me some suggestions, which I took but it didn’t work. I followed up THREE more times and received no response. I sent more photos and videos asking for additional support and no one even cared enough to give me a response. What a disgraceful company. Doesn’t even care about its customers. Do yourself a favor and purchase a treadmill from anywhere but ProForm.
It's great because it's easy to store. It's foldable. It has different speeds. It's lighter than most treadmills out there. Overall experience on it was great. I would love to win one of those. And you really feel the difference on your muscles when you're working out on it. I really want one of these.
Love their products, my last treadmill with this company lasted 10 years! I would recommend them to anyone. They are reasonably priced and they are made with sound quality material. It had usual wear and tear but overall good product.
I purchased this treadmill at Kroger’s, at the time of purchase I was 100 lbs heavier, obviously I bought it to aid in my weight loss goal, that was 5 years ago, everyone told me that exercise equipment was a waste and only provided short term loss. I beg to differ, what ProForm did for me was help me realize I was serious, I am on it still daily, it has been five years since I lost the weight, did it take all of it off by itself, well of course not, what it did do was get me in the physical shape I needed to be in along with telling my brain it’s working, which ultimately made me rethink what was going in my mouth, the treadmill lets you know the calories burned, at which point you will realize if you just ate a zinger or ding dong that will cost you an extra hour on the machine. So was it worth it, Absolutely Yes.
I ordered Proform Eliptical. After it didn't deliver as promised I call to cancel. Decided to go with it after they said they gave me the date it ships not when it's delivered. The freight company called and said they are delivering two weeks after the shipping date. They said they were told to deliver to garage or driveway. I have neither and was never told that not even one time. I told them I can't accept it since there is no way to get in my condo. So I was charged $360.00 to send it back and restock fee all to be deducted from my initial charge $846.00. Costly Nightmare. They should make consumers aware of all of this. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. It keeps return guidelines from consumers as well as delivery guidelines.
I have waiting 3 months for my treadmill, and I'm still waiting. I'm so disappointing, because I paying on something I don't have. I order my treadmill Oct 30, it is now Jan. 22, and I keep getting the run around say it will be delivered to the warehouse and it isn't there.
I normally do not write reviews (good or bad) but felt no other choice but to express my opinions about this company. I've tried on several occasions to resolve a billing amount dispute. As I write this review I have been on hold with the Billing Department for well over an hour. I hung up after two hours on hold. Without wasting more of anyone's time, I'll just say that their return policy needs to clarified. The 30 day "Free Trial" period isn't exactly free. Read the small print before you purchase, there's a shipping fee of $250 + 10% re-stocking fee, I tried to cancel my order after I read the review that you void the warranty if you set up the machine in your garage.
I called as soon as I read the review to cancel my order but I found out that their billing department is closed on the weekends. I called on Monday but it was too late because the treadmill had been "shipped" according to the CS person. They cancelled the order but still charged me the full return fee even I've never received the treadmill. Buyer beware!
So I’ve ordered a Proform treadmill about a month ago; been very gentle with the older lady I’ve dealt with over the phone that took my order: she was working from home, she claimed she had troubles with the internet and I had to repeat my infos at least 3 times, she lost all infos then too and at the third time she failed to put the correct shipping address on it (gf’s house) so they shipped at my billing address (my house..) which is 50 mins drive away...; as soon as I got the first email I’ve noticed the mismatch of address and called proform immediately and emailed the lady that took my order, which ignored me all together, never received an answer; the proform customer service told me that day over the phone she was going to correct the address immediately and call back within 4 days;
I let a week pass by, in the mean time all kinds of emails from proform and the delivery company Called DNS showing the delivery still at the incorrect address, called back yesterday and I was told they were unable to change the address they had to cancel the order and redo another order with the correct address, so I told the lady, I’ll try to accommodate you, if my neighbor can pick up my order, because I’m on trip, (I work for the airlines) I think we can fix it, so I’ve called my neighbor and he said yes, called the shipping company and they told me they can’t delivery with my neighbor next door, had to be right at my door and in my garage...
So I told them cancel the order and Bad mouth your poor business company and then called Proform and repeated the same! Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, both proform and DNS, I’ve tried to accomandate everyone’s screw ups and it can’t be done, I highly recommend not order anything out of those, all sequence of very Incompetent people... not sure about the quality of the product because I’ve never received it
Proform is very disreputable company. Do a simple internet search using “Proform review” as the search criteria. I ordered treadmill then immediately tried to cancel. Proform sent treadmill anyway and of course charged my credit card. I wished I had searched around before purchasing. Treadmills are pieces of junk. Treadmill only operates in manual mode without subscription to iFit so after one year you have to pay for iFit in order to use preprogrammed workouts. Extended warranty is worthless. Company does not send out tech to fix a broken unit. They expect you do the repair.
They also expect you to accept a damage unit from shipping company. Examine unit before it is unloaded from truck. If it is damaged refuse to accept it and DO NOT SIGN FOR IT. You are in no way required to accept a unit damage in shipping. Proform uses multiple shipping companies to get unit to customer. Shipping company is only paid for curbside delivery so once you unit is off the truck it is your problem to move the 230 pound unit.
Cancelled my treadmill immediately after I discovered overcharge “HOLDS” on my bank account. UNAUTHORIZED. Called immediately over a week and better than 25 times to speak to CSR. On hold over 30 minutes with nobody picking up phone. Over 50 emails to this company with not a positive result. I cancelled. Did not received treadmill and they want to charge me $350.00 for return! Please do yourself a favor. DO NOT deal with this company. Way too stressed.
I would recommend to anyone to not buy from this company!!! I bought a ProForm treadmill earlier this year, (in June 6, 2020) and for the 4 months I had the treadmill, it was only functional for 1 WEEK!! After the 1st week the treadmill belt stopped working, so Proform would constantly have to send us new parts to "fix" the treadmill. The people on Proform Live Chat were also not the nicest people to text, and was sometimes just very rude, and would hang up on me when they did not want to help/wait for me to "open the machine to look at a certain part".
I also paid an a lot of money for the 3 year warranty/protection plan, thinking someone would COME to put the parts in and fix it, BUT NO, they make YOU open the machine and send the part to you, so YOU can fix the treadmill!! I asked what was the point of buying the expensive warranty/protection plan (which is supposed to have someone come fix it), if I'm doing all the work?? They told me that it's "only for big replacements". After 4 months of constantly having to fix the machine just having to go back and talking to the rude people on Proform live chat to wait 7-10 business days to just replace ANOTHER part that was also very hard to replace had me fed up.
I asked the person on Proform live chat for a replacement (which says replacements are included in the paid for warranty/protection plan), then the person told me that the "replacement" is only through parts. So the only way they can "replace" the machine is by sending me all the separate pieces so I will have to put all the pieces together. After that, I immediately went to Walmart to ask for my refund. I told them my issues with the product and the company, and I got a full refund . I would recommend to anyone to just save up for a NordicTrack or some other well known brands, because that is what I am doing. Having a Proform Treadmill was a nightmare, and I will never go through that again.
I purchased a Proform Treadmill Sept 3rd. The website said it will ship in 2-4 days. I was informed that due to high demand it would not ship until Oct 16th. Well Oct 16th came and went. I called and was told it would now ship Oct 31. Well Oct 31st came and went. I called again and they said they would transfer me to someone who could help me. They put me on hold for 25 minutes. Never picked up!!!
I called again and then was told it will ship the end on November around the 27th. When I asked for a guarantee since we are going on 3 months now they said well that's when we might get some more in stock but I can't guarantee they will ship it to you. If you want a treadmill DO NOT ORDER FROM PROFORM!!! It will take six months to a year to fill your order!! They will keep giving you the runaround with changing dates, leaving you hanging or just put you on hold and not answer the phone. This company has NO COMMUNICATION between production, sales and shipping!
We purchased a treadmill and got it after 3 weeks! Assembled and turned it on but the belt is not running at all! Spoke with an agent ang sent us some replacement wires cause it might be the problem.. The wires came and replaced but still the belt is not moving. We thought of returning it cause it’s not working anyways. Just so disappointing and frustrating! Spoke again with an agent and told us that we have to pay for the shipping fee $250 plus restocking fee! 100$ Plus half of the 10% cause the agent waived the half.. WOW! Just wow! It’s not our fault that they sent us a DEFECTIVE MACHINE! And now they will let us pay for the returns.
Purchased ProForm HIIT Trainer in Oct 2018. Major parts under warranty are broken, took 5 months to get them. They couldn’t give me an estimated delivery date, canceled the backorder and I was on my own to find them. $210 in svc so far, and they want to charge $170 to install the latest part that just arrived. Submitted multiple complaints, they don’t care. Horrible service. Never again.
Let the phone ring forever. No one answers. When I finally got through they passed me off and back to holding. Never did they pick up. Sent numerous emails to customers service, still no replies! Such a disappointment.
If someone is looking to purchase a treadmill I strongly recommend NOT buying a Pro-form product. I received the Pro-form City T7, assembled it and noticed several scraps and scuffs like it had been used, possibly a return or was a reconditioned unit. The incline feature did not work. It said it was at 0% when it was actually at 6%. Way too high for a 63 year old to be starting out at. I contacted Pro-form via e-mail and received a case number (**) and was told someone would contact me shortly. That was on 8/29/2020. It is now 9/06/2020 and haven't received any help. Also tried "support line" but was put on hold for an eternity. I waited 45 minutes one time. Once again DO NOT buy a Pro-form product.
For the love of God, heed the negative reviews!!! I ordered a ProForm Pro 2000 treadmill in late July. Once I received the product I found it had a serious safety issue. It would not maintain the speed setting when at an incline of 10% or more. So, you would be at a full sprint regardless of your set speed. Call support and dealt with the incompetence from start to finish. They shipped out a front roller but I could never get an In-home tech to come install it. Confident the roller was not the issues. Researching the internet I found similar reported issues with no fix.
Approaching my 30-day return window I decided to cut my losses and return the product. Regardless of the defect and safety issue, I was required to pay a $250.00 and 10% restocking fee. This company basically stole $426.00. This is a 1 billion a year company and this is how they treat the consumer. I'll try and disputed with my CC once the return has been processed but doubtful I will get my money back. Believe the negative reviews you see posted online and do not do business with this company or any of its subs.
ORDER PF **. I orders a ProForm treadmill on their website and then cancelled (or tried to cancel) the order the next day. You can't reach them on a weekend, the chat people were available but not at all helpful. They insisted the treadmill had shipped already so it was too late to cancel but subsequently I received emails confirming it was shipped but the message itself indicated it was only scheduled for shipping. My numerous emails to various parts of the ProForm organization been ignored and their receipt not even been acknowledged. They intend to charge me shipping and restocking fees despite being informed within a day of the order to cancel the order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I was unable to include copies of emails and screen shots to this site.
This is the first time I've written a bad review for anyone. Five months ago we bought a ProForm Premier 900 treadmill from a local retailer who's been in business for over 20 years. We were having intermittent problems with the console shutting down while using the machine. Called the retailer and they turned out to be completely unresponsive forcing us to call the manufacturer directly. After almost an hour on hold, we were informed that the retailer was not one of their retail partners and therefore our one-year warranty would not be honored. Not sure what our recourse will be with both the retailer and ProForm, but between a faulty expensive machine and a company that refuses to honor its warranty, ProFrom gets an "F."
I placed an order for a mid-priced treadmill due to the shipping speed and great reviews. Every other option had a later shipping date due to high demand. I received one follow up email regarding buying an extended warranty, was sent a link which led to a dead end. I responded back and got no response. I call 4 days after my expected ship date and was told that they didn’t have enough of that model to ship so it’s going to be delayed. I asked how long and the man just said “I don’t know, a few weeks”. I demanded a time frame considering I didn’t get notification on this and was told a date. That date was just a few days ago.
For the past 2 days I’ve been calling and emailing with no response. I finally get through and was told it’s on back order, again I asked a date and was transferred to a different department where I was on hold for 25 minutes until I finally hung up. I called a few more times, using the option to leave a call back number. I got a call back 2 hours later but the second I answered the phone, they hung up. So I repeated the process and again same thing. Late last night I emailed asking for cancellation and refund. First thing this morning I got confirmation of cancellation. Email was short and unprofessional “Your order has been cancelled. THank you” (yes thank you spelled wrong quickly). No name nothing. I’m appalled at how terrible the customer service, or should I say lack there of. I understand times are troubling and they are busy but that’s no way to treat PAYING customers.
Ordered the P2000 treadmill on April 20th, 2020. Here it is now June 5th and I still have not received it nor have I received a phone call to arrange delivery. Been on hold for 38 minutes (as of the writing of this post) I cannot get a hold of anyone at the company to give an explanation as to why they have neglected to deliver a machine on time...the timelines are posted on their website. Please do not pay attention to this rhetoric as I know it is false based on my experience.
Now I am considering canceling the order to find out that it will cost me $250 plus 10% to cancel. It is looking more and more like they are running a scam/racket and they will make money on your no matter what the outcome. My advice to anyone who is considering this company for in-home fitness gear is to run as fast as they can AWAY from ProForm and put their money into any other fitness gear. I hope that this helps at least one person considering ordering a fitness machine from this company.
ThanksMark
I contacted their customer service line for a status on my order. I got no help. I waited patiently for an agent and when I was finally chatting with one. They took forever to respond to my question and when they did. It was to directed me to contact another department. On top that if I asked more questions. They would sit on the chat and ignore me until I logged off or just leave. I haven't even received my order yet and I'm already getting the run around. Order elsewhere. Really read the reviews and take them seriously. I saw the horrible customer service reviews, but thought maybe not everyone will receive this type of service. Wrong! No kicking myself in the behind. Save yourself the headache of dealing with a company whose bottom line is revenue instead of its customers.
Have a problem on treadmill and even had an electrician come and check unit. It pops my electric box. The company is not willing to help me. Big 5 Sports wasn't able to help me. So, I have a treadmill that is defective.
I bought a treadmill from this company brand new on 2-2-20 (not even a month ago) and it is already not working. I called the company to see if they could guide me in the right direction (return the treadmill or even if there was a way to reset the treadmill). The first man that I spoke to told me that I would need to dismount the top part. I told him at least ten times that I am physically incapable of doing so. (I had to pay someone to come set the treadmill up as I am not physically capable.) I did not go into detail and do not think I need to go into detail as to why. He proceeds to tell me that they can only send a technician out if I do this so the technician knows what part to bring and it would be $150.00 additional dollars depending.
I finally ask to speak to his manager as he is not understanding I am physically incapable of doing the lifting and unscrewing of this and that. VICKI the customer service manager gets on the phone and berates me about not being able to physically do what they are asking. She repeatedly states it is only five screws. AGAIN, I am not physically capable but yes my legs can walk. She then says, "Well do you not have someone like your dad that can help you?" "Not really your business Vicki but no my dad passed away not too long ago." I hang up because I am done with the conversation.
I spend the next two hours trying to reach Vicki's manager just to be hung up on several times or to be left on hold for 20 minutes when I was told the wait was only 2 minutes. I finally decide to call the sales department in hopes that the Sales manager can either get me to the right Manager of Customer Service or take my complaint and pass it along. The sales department decides to hang up on me, so I call back and the they will not let me speak to their manager. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER TREADMILLS AND DEFINITELY DO NOT TRY TO CALL AND SPEAK TO ANYONE. Problems do not always get resolved but this company will not even pretend to take the complaint.
I ordered a treadmill on January 27. I received an email with my order number. It is Feb 5 and I have not heard anything from the company. I called this morning as my credit card has had the amount of my purchase in "pending" since January 27. The sales department could not tell me with certainty what the status of my order is. He did tell me it may be shipping tonight, but can't promise it. He transferred me to shipping. I was on hold for over 15 minutes. I called the salesman back to let him know that I don't get any information as to how long I will be on hold or what # I would be in line. His response was "there are 5 callers in front of you and the hold is 15 minutes." (Here is the kicker - and this is a quote) "Hopefully you didn't hang up". Well yes, Mr. Salesman I did as I was on hold for 15 minutes with no notification about anything.
The shipping alone is up to 14 days. I explain to Mr. Salesman that I am leaving for vacation and cannot be here to receive the order in 14 days unless it ships today. Don't waste your time with a live chat either. They will chew up the same amount of time and provide you with the shipping number. I feel bad for the people working there. They have been nice thus far. Terrible process.
When I purchased my Pro-Form Premier 900 treadmill in 2016, I purchased an extended warranty through January 13, 2020. Pro-Form made arrangements for installation. The treadmill was installed in an HVAC controlled garage. (Electronics such as sound systems and cable TV systems exist and function well in the same space.) I called 01/02/2013 to have warranty work performed only to learn that my warranty is void because the treadmill is in the garage. Why did Pro-Form have it installed in the garage and sell me a warranty which was immediately void because of the location? I wonder how many other people they rip off in the same way. I would never recommend doing business with this company. I rated my experience with “one” star. When truly, no stars should be used to rate my experience.
I bought my Proform treadmill model pftl98115. I had to delay signing up for my trial period for ifit because of a toe operation. When I went to sign up 3 months after buying my treadmill, ifit charged my credit card $396. I called and tried to explain why I waited 3 months to sign up but they didn't listen or care. I immediately cancelled my signup for ifit and disputed the charge. Thanks for such lousy customer service. I like the treadmill except that you have to turn on and off the treadmill at their power switch and also the power strip switch otherwise something keeps running that shouldn't. The boot up time is too long especially since I use the manual mode thanks to ifit's lousy customer service.
I ordered the Proform 2000 on Nov 8 1019. After two weeks I called to check on the status and was told my order was canceled. I called billing and their advice was to order again. Keep in mind I used Proform's financing and they have still not credited my account back. My wife had the same experience when she tried to order the bike on the same day. STAY AWAY!!!!
Worst customer service ever. OMG read all these reviews and ignored because I was lied to by their customer service about their ability to deliver my unit - and I only asked for a drop - no assembly -no room placement nothing. Just drop the shipment off. 1 MONTH no unit. Stuck at hub saying unknown for a delivery date. Could be months? Huge mistake. Should never have bought. Their return policy says have to pay 250.00 and restocking fee need mind since it was a promo - the Proform smart pro 2000, I would still be responsible for paying. I used their financing - another mistake. Should have used one of my credit cards so I could call and dispute charges. Starting to look like = lawsuit here. Please heed my advice and stay away. The customer service by them and the shipper are both liars and totally useless. STAY AWAY. Do not buy.
I purchased a Proform 9000 in April of 2018. I went through the hassle of assembling it but not too bad. I should have heeded the warning of the screen blanking out about a month later but I jiggled the cords and the console power came back on. It wasn’t used much by the family at that point, maybe 5-6 times total. Then the screen went blank again in January. I called customer service for help and they sent me a new console and power cable. Great! But the console would hang on the iFit app and not go further. The whole treadmill functions through the console, so nada.
Okay, hours on customer support and again a new console sent, installed and....hangs on iFit app. This went on for 4 replacement consoles over 4 months. I have to admit they tried until I mentioned it was in my heated garage. Whoops! the small print of the warranty said no garage. They then made me take the treadmill into my house - okay but sure seems like a software problem. Did that, sent them pictures of it in my house (trust issues) and BOOM, THE WARRANTY IS NOW VOID! Why then make me move the piece of junk into my house? DO NOT BUY THIS TREADMILL. It was barely used and they want you to pay monthly for the iFit app trail maps. I just wanted it to work. Now I have a 1900$ piece of junk that may or may not work if I have a repairman come out minimum of 700$ per the repair shop. I just wanted something for my kids to workout on.
I have been unable to get any on the "40 on-board programs" to work on my 9000 model treadmill. I initially reached out for support through their online chat. The rep suggested I press and hold the bluetooth icon for 20 sec or until the beeping stops. Nothing happens when I press the icon. The only features I can get to work is the manual option (basic speed and incline control) and anything iFit related. The instructions have zero mention of holding down the bluetooth icon rather tells you to access the home icon (which I don't have). When I contacted customer support again via the chat to tell them that solution did not work I was told they could not help me and I had to call an 800 number.
While you wait, check out FAQ here." This was over 8 hours ago. No response and the link to the FAQs was a 404 error page. I will never buy another product from this company again.
I purchased this treadmill in December 2018 and it is now June 2019 and I am still trying to get resolution from their customer service. Out of the box the treadmill noticeably slows on every step until about speed of 3. Also when walking on an incline I can go from a slow walk to a run without touching a button. Finally got a technician to come out mid April and we should be trying out the belt lubricant here soon but he told me that ProForm told him that the incline issue is due to gravity and is totally normal. Really? Then how come that has never happened at the gym in my 20 years of going?
I know how a good treadmill should perform and this isn’t it. To be fair the treadmill works pretty good besides those issues but their customer service is the real reason why I will never buy from them again. You can only communicate through email and you get someone different every time. Want to talk to someone on the phone to figure it all out? No way. I’ll be looking somewhere else than Proform or NordicTrack (same owners).
I had a Proform for 15 years. That machine was a beast and lasted until I finally gave it to goodwill...still in working order. So I go to purchase a newer proform machine. Spent half a day putting it together...(keep in mind, I am a 55 yr old woman). All done!! right?!....Nope...Had to connect to ifit for the machine to function....OMG!! Are you kidding me right now?!!! I tried to go to ifitnesshelp, ifit.com, and tried to call. Was a horrible experience. First I was told I would have to register the product and then wait one hour to activate ifit. Ok so I did. I tried to activate the ifit trial period and imagine my surprise when the activation code was INVALID! Argh!!!
Now I am livid. Tried googling "using 505 CST treadmill without ifit"...You guessed it... no such thing exists. They told me at academy sports store that I could use the treadmill "manually" as there is a button on the console that says "manual". I WISH! I have never seen such blatant fraud! There is nothing on the machine displayed in the store that says "YOU MUST PAY TO ACTIVATE IFIT TO TURN THIS MACHINE ON". My son finally sync'd the machine with my Iphone and it started to work. But I had to pay for the app in the app store AND I guess I have to have my phone logged into the app for the machine to run using cellular data. I hope future purchasers either have lots of money and patience or better sense than to purchase any ifit product. If there is an ifit label anywhere on the machine...DO NOT BUY! That all I can say at this point.
My wife and I bought a ProForm treadmill in January from Academy in part because ProForm was running a promotion for a free fitness tracker with a new treadmill. We filled out the form, selected the model tracker, included the sales receipt and the UPC label from the carton as per instructions. We mailed it to the ProForm address indicated on the form. Two months passed and we had not received the tracker or heard anything from ProForm. I proceeded to try and find out where it was in the process and when it might be shipped. I was informed by ProForm that they were no longer honoring that promotion. Never once did they bother letting us know after they received the order form. The promotion was advertised on Academy's website and with signs in the store when we purchased. Needless to say we think that this is an unprofessional way to conduct business. Never will we buy another ProForm product nor will we recommend ProForm.
Ordered a treadmill, which was delivered on Jan 23, 2019. I went on the company website, and emailed them to let them know that a part was defective. I received a reply that they received this email and someone would be contacting me shortly the same day. Well, it is now March 6 and no contact whatsoever. Wrote them again on 02/14 when I received their solicitation to sign up extended warranty protection, asking why I should give them any more money for extended warranty service, when it was clear that their customer service was lacking. No response to that one either. Choose another brand as this company's service is non-existent.
This company forces you to give a credit card number before you can even use the treadmill. This is insane. Even though I spent several hours putting it together, I will be returning this machine out of principles.
I bought a ProForm 9000 treadmill in Nov 18. White glove delivery eventually on Dec 27 in second home. The treadmill did not work - the belt did not turn at all. I spent over 3 hours trying to sort it out on the phone after sending emails that got no reply. They said they would refund but I had to disassemble and get the machine to an exit door. Otherwise I would have to pay another $250 for a disassembly fee. That would make me $500 out of pocket for white glove delivery and then disassembly of a machine that never worked! Never go near this company! They are a nightmare to deal with! Absolutely terrible customer service.
When ordering the Proform Smart Pro 2000, I requested assembly. Upon delivery, the installers damaged the unit and left. Each phone call to Proform has extremely long hold times (I have seen 40 minute to 2 hours). I called and reported this. Proform agreed to allow a return at no cost to me. However, they did not issue a return authorization number and my payment for financing is currently due. Each time I call to follow up on the return, I am told to wait a couple of more days. With a bill standing against me, no return authorization and no coordination of pick up, I am beginning to feel as if I have been scammed and will be stuck with this damaged, nonworking item that weighs 300lbs and is taking up 18 sq ft of space.
Called the service number, left my info. Never got a callback. Went to the website and never got a connection. It says the site took too long and dropped me??? Do yourself a favor and buy from someone else other than ProForm. No service. No good.
Registration NIGHTMARE. This system/process is not very compatible for people of all age ranges. When I got my ProForm 505 CST treadmill home and assemble it required me to sign up for iFit which was free for 30 days but then would become a monthly fee. I am a marathon runner and do not need any coaching on running on a treadmill. I especially do not need an app that shows me more of the 'trainer' I am running with and listening to him or her talk about BS things. My overall satisfaction with the actual treadmill is great. I love how quiet it is and smooth it runs.
What I LOATH is that I had sign up and give my credit card information to iFit JUST to get the treadmill, for lack of a better word, UNLOCKED. I not only had to do all the but then after giving my credit card info to iFit I had to then spend 30 + minutes the next day on hold just to cancel it, so that I was not charge the ridiculous monthly fee. After spending hundreds of dollars on a new treadmill the last thing I wanted to do was pay more money, a month, for something that is even more worthless than the setup requirements of the treadmill itself.
The treadmill broke less than a year after I bought it. I called the 1-800 number and the company tried to figure out over the phone what was wrong with the product. The tech on the phone said they would make a note on the account and when I could afford it, they would sent the part and a tech out to fix the machine. I received a Christmas email about a discount for servicing the machine and thought "Great! I'll book the repair now". The first hint should have been that it was advertised for $129 and they added another fee without my knowledge and charged my card $215.
The repair service was ordered on Dec. 27th, and took until yesterday, Jan. 7th, for someone to even come out and look at the machine. The technician spent about 10 minutes in my home, to say that a controller was broken, and I would have to order another part. I called ProForm and was informed that it would cost $275, in addition to the $215 already spent. $500 to fix a machine that did not work well in the first place, and did not cost much more than $700 brand new! Avoid ProForm at all costs.
This treadmill lasted for about a year and packed up. The company was not in any way helpful. Please save your money and don't go near this company. This worst investment I ever made. Mine is in my furnace room gathering dust. Giving it a one star is just too generous.
The motor of my treadmill stopped working after one year and 8 month use. I’m the only person who is using it and I’m 5'4" and 130 lbs. But this is not the worse part - none existing customer service makes it a complete disaster. There is a lifetime warranty on the motor and for 4 weeks I’m trying to get an answer to my claim. Via phone it’s almost impossible to get through and they will put you on hold for hours until you give up. If you try the live chat - very similar. After waiting for an hour to be connect with an agent they will tell you that your machine is not registered. After I told them when I did register they kicked me out and I have to start all over again. I will go as far as I have to because for a thousand dollar we deserve better than that. Find a better company to buy from.
IFIT scamming to sell programming. Easy to activate by pressing Bluetooth button down. BUT THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THAT INFORMATION! Ask the activation website was in Spanish, I waiting in chat line for over one hour, then phone hold for 45m to get this information.
Order my HIIT trainer and warranty plus full assembly for a total of $1,900. Was happy about the purchase and looked forward to have it in my house. The moment the delivery company called, the nightmare begun. They can deliver only Monday through Friday and the bracket is 10am to 2pm. I told them I could not because I will have to take a day off that I don't have their answer: find someone else to deliver and assembly it. Really?? This is very rude and probably the only company that doesn't deliver on weekends. I complained and it has been 5 days and still no scheduling or anyone reaching out. My machine is in Doral since two weeks. I am so frustrated. I canceled the entire order and will deal with a company that wants my money.
I like that NordicTrack has a 10'' web-enabled, full-color touchscreen that displays fitness stats during each workout. It also has 38 built-in workouts for a variety of training sessions and an iPod compatible audio jack, 3'' digitally amplified long-throw speakers with digital volume control. This treadmill can be set up pretty easy if you follow instructions but was difficult at first because I was looking at instructions. I dislike its capacity weight though. I started out 350 and it was slow but once weight started coming off it seem to pick up speed and work a lot better.
It's very basic so it is very easy and simple to use. However, the bars that you can hold come down a bit far and I sometimes hit my hands on them which hurts. Also, it sometimes has an old smell when I run on it, which could be because it is old. It is extremely heavy too so moving it around is almost impossible by myself. I can fold it up by myself though which is nice and it folds up into a small space. I also like that it is somewhat quiet and it has lasted me a long time. It has a place for my iPad as well.
It has Jillian Michaels backgrounds and scenes used for different running styles and the incline is super awesome for people that need an incline for their body and back. It's not easy to move around the house however I enjoy that I don't have to move it anywhere else but where I have it. I should have been more information about the heaviness of this machine but once you have the machine in the spot you will leave it in. It's great but not for moving around. I love the accessories it came with as well as the intended use of the entire machine. I love the way it takes you to a different level on its own. I would thoroughly recommend this treadmill for those who own a home.
It was very affordable, it is easy to use, not very complex, it’s foldable for easy storage. I also like the automatic shut off feature, there is a fan for cooling, simplistic and user friendly. Set up and using is quite simple. With the press of a button, connect the magnetic attachment to start and clip to shirt in case of falls, the open process is easy, unhook latch and fold down, fold up and latch to secure. But it doesn’t have a lot of special features, there isn’t a place to enter weight, or time limit or like random programs, can’t set timer. The belt sometimes doesn’t always work properly, it will occasionally stops, or slows down or takes a few seconds to get going. When you use the book holder, you inadvertently cover up the fan, so doesn’t help to cool. If you run, the book holder does not keep the book in place, and so the pounding of the feet cause books and iPads to fall off.
It was so so setting it up. I had help from a friend but I know putting it up by myself could've been tough since it was really heavy to lift. Maybe you could also have a Bluetooth speaker option made in it so you can run and listen to music without have to worrying about headphones. However, I liked the speed option as well as the setting to change terrain from flat to raised to downhill making my workouts more intense and personalized to me.
I like the fact that it records pulse, fat calories burned, and calories burned. Also, it has inclines. It is very easy and fun to use. It is also easy to set up and store. Once on, you hit start, set speed, incline, and go. To store it, you just fold it up and can store it in the closet or in a corner somewhere. I try to use it often. This one is at least 10 years old. If nothing else, I would buy a new one. I would also buy a rowing machine.
I like the design but also the simplicity of the product. Some companies have too many features. It is easy to use and the equipment is very intuitive. I find that people of all ages and experiences can use the equipment. Setting up the equipment was as easy as plugging in and getting started with a comfortable workout. However, I would like a newer machine. I am guessing that the newest models have a better technology resolution for the user. I think that a more modern screen and heart rate monitor would make the equipment more desirable. Nevertheless, I am able to just get on and work out if I choose to. Some features I like include the incline and speed. I also like that I can check my pulse and see the number of calories that I have burned.
The process of setting up the treadmill and getting it started is very easy to do and very easy to use. I have no issues with monitoring my time, speed, efficiency and more! It is in excellent condition and works perfectly. This treadmill has a lot of different features that I love to use and find incredibly helpful including Power Efficiency Booster, Quick Speed Controls, iFit App, LED Lights features. This treadmill is awesome. I love the treadmill and it meets all of my exercising needs.
Operating the treadmill is simple. You simply push start and go. There is a safety clip you can put on your person, so that if you fall and rip the clip off the treadmill, it will stop. The only thing I don't like is a fan on the treadmill that is useless. It is loud and doesn't blow any air toward the user. Otherwise, it is a great treadmill. I like the computer screen that shows the distance, mph, and time used. I like that it has an incline because I heard that a normal sidewalk is at a 1.5 percent incline. I also like that it fold up for storage.
My husband put the treadmill together for me. He needed a little assistance from our son for the big parts. It can be folded up for space saving or storage but I keep it fully assembled so that I can just jump on it quickly when I'm ready. I only need to push a button to start it. Easy peasy! The fan has 2 speeds - High and Low. However, even on high, it doesn't really cool me down as much as I'd like. The air I feel is only on my face. I would like if the fan was more powerful and had a broader reach to cool my neck also. But still, I like that it has a fan and it has ample space for walking or running. Also, I like that it is power-operated and the incline and speed are easily adjustable while using the machine.
I like that it is easy to program, has many different programs, and it runs smoothly. It was easy to assemble, and is easy to use. The colors are sharp, and it moves easily with no Berliners some less expensive machines have. It was very heavy though and difficult to get to our basement, but my husband did not find it difficult once we got it down there to put together. The directions were easy to understand and follow. But the graphics are not the best, and I wish it had a place for water and for my book or phone while I am exercising. Plus, I sometimes mistakenly stop it when I don't mean to, and it won't show me where I was.
My story start out like many an attempt to get into shape, and a decision to get into shape by purchasing a treadmill. Having done some research I purchased a ProForm treadmill, little did I know I would have been of taking my money lighting it on fire. To condense this down this experience went over a course of 2 years. Upon first use it would not run. This would be one of 5 parts I would be sent all of which would fail within a week to a month of use. I was sent over the course this experience at first 3 of the control panels- they would run for about a week to a month then once again would no longer function.
Finally after the third time the advisor send a control arm-that is the part where the key rest, this seems to have worked and after a year of replacement parts I thought it was working. Once again it failed after about a month. At this point the warranty expired and I now had treadmill that was 500 lb paperweight. I drag it out to the trash the other day. I will never buy a ProForm product ever again.
I purchased the treadmill on Jan 4. Was delivered Feb 9. March 16 the Bluetooth stopped working. And the customer service is not good, call after call, email, video call to finally admit there is an issue with the Bluetooth. Order was placed in March and received the part mid June. Although I purchased the parts and labor warranty they gave me a hard time to send the technician since I had to striped the console which came with no instructions. They send you links to YouTube videos like it’s the customer job to fix all the problems. Customer service still tries to deter you from getting a technician saying it will take 3 to 5 business days. The very next day the technician came and replaced the part.
The issue continues. When the tech called customer service. They say the Bluetooth doesn’t connect with a tablet - which was connected and working fine before the problem started - and that the iFit wristband I have doesn’t work with my equipment. When I told the lady that not only worked before but I have workouts on my iFit account she rushed to say she will only talk with the technician. So tomorrow again for the 6th+ time I am going to call and try to get someone on the call that know what they talking about so I can have a brand new equipment working again. If I could go back I wouldn’t have purchased this equipment from PROFORM and I DO NOT recommend the purchase just because of the customer service alone!!!
I decided this time when I was going to order my new ProForm that instead of ordering from QVC or HSN or some other TV or online outlet like I have before, I would order direct from ProForm. What a HUGE mistake. It has been nothing short of a nightmare to 1) get anyone from ProForm to communicate with me at their iconn email that they force you to email them at. 2) They do not tell you before you order that the company they use to ship with mostly only has Wednesdays to deliver your product and that they NEVER deliver on a Friday (which is the day that I am home). Also, they hardly ever have any Saturdays available.
I order this treadmill (PERFORMANCE 400i PFTL59515) in April and ONE month later I am still trying to track down where it is and why I don't have it after one month has passed. It was only going coast-to-coast in America, not going through customs country to country. Then when the delivery company finally contacts me, they have a bunch of horrible dates that I cannot take off of work to meet. They also give you NO indication of the time window. They say that you will be called again to schedule the time window. Horrible service.
So the only available date when I could request time off from work was in the middle of a vacation that I had scheduled a month away in the middle of the week on a Wednesday meaning that I cannot travel anywhere now on my vacation - essentially ruining any plans of getting away that I had since it's mid-week that they will deliver. TWO MONTHS after I ordered. Who knows what condition this will arrive in! I might have to refuse it if it arrives looking like garbage. ProForm is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE to avoid dealing with. If you want to buy one, buy it from QVC or another TV channel that provides their own great customer service. I owned a ProForm before, loved it, but for this hassle - NEVER AGAIN. This is the last ProForm I will ever buy and I will also tell anyone I know NOT to buy one.
The motor froze up and ended up replacing it and next was the control board started eating the belt etc. I contacted ProForm and basically got no help from them. My treadmill is only 1 1/2 years old. A lot of money to spend on a big item for it to break so soon with no help.
I used a ProForm Treadmill at a gym recently while on vacation. The design had a bookrest. However, directly behind where the book rested were the buttons to speed up quickly, and to incline quickly. While either moving the book, or pressing down slightly to adjust it, one of the speed buttons was pressed accidentally. It jumped three speeds immediately, and without warning, and I fell off. I only had some bruises, but it could have been much worse. I wanted to put out a warning for others.
I ordered a ProForm 9000 treadmill on December 28, 2017 and never received it due to two separate order mix-ups by their seriously incompetent staff. The first delivery took nearly six weeks before I received what I thought was my treadmill. I added white glove service because the item was to go in an upstairs room and when the delivery team arrived, I showed them where to set it up. A few minutes later, I checked on their status and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them setting up a NordicTrack weight machine! I told them this wasn't what I ordered, but they seemed to challenge me because my name and address were on the order. When I showed them my email receipt, they looked pretty put out and annoyed, but begrudgingly dismantled the machine and hauled it off. Thinking there was a mix up at the local delivery center, I thought it would be an easy fix, but no such luck.
When I called ProForm to let them know what happened, I was transferred several times before being placed on hold nearly two hours only to learn they somehow screwed up my order and sent me the wrong item (I can possibly understand if it were the wrong treadmill, but it was not only a different brand but an entirely different type of work out machine). Further, I had to "return" an item I never ordered and reorder the one I wanted. At no point during this whole process did anyone offer any form of an apology, even after I had mentioned as much to the agent assisting me with the exchange. Shortly thereafter, I received tracking updates on the second "delivery", which arrived pretty quickly at my local delivery center on 2/21.
However, after waiting one week for someone to call me to set up delivery, I called to check on it only to discover that my treadmill never made it on the truck to begin with and, what's more, I would have to go through the whole nightmarish process AGAIN! Against better judgment, I began to do so, but then after being on hold another 45 minutes and reading the other negative online reviews, I figured enough was enough. Thankfully, a very helpful, apologetic sales agent soon took my call and helped cancel the order FOR GOOD and refund my card (or at least I hope). I wish I could have written a review on the actual item because it appears to be a very nice machine for the money, but seriously inept staff ended that for me and, at this rate, will likely be the end of ProForm.
Carrier supposedly called five times, but I have no indication on my cell phone. When I got the number from ProForm, I called the MDX Group (contracted for white glove delivery) and they indicated it would be a week before the treadmill could be delivered, but couldn't give me a specific time (two hour window). I told them I worked and would need time, but the woman I spoke to was less than sympathetic, and kept repeating herself. Finally, I scheduled for a Saturday, three days more to wait. They have taken so long that I am already having to make my first payment. Bummer! I am not happy with the company's representative and her attitude, nor the long wait for delivery.
Bought a treadmill on 1/3, and it arrived on 1/14. Assembled and found it goes to highest incline and stays there. Icon fitness diagnosed it as a bad console over the phone and placed an order for a new one on 1/16. It is now 2/14 and I’m still being told it’s on back order and cannot be given a timeframe for delivery. How does it take over a month to get a part to a consumer? I’ve attempted to contact returns and have been left on hold multiple times for up to 3 hours.
So, I had previously owned a ProForm treadmill. Had it for 3 years, and it gave out on me. I emailed ProForm for assistance and they asked me for make and serial. I gave them that information and never heard back. 3-4 months went by and still nothing. So I got rid of the treadmill. Ordered a new treadmill not ProForm and I was not happy with it. So I got rid of it and decided to go back to ProForm. I looked online and found the same one I had and it was in stock so I called and ordered it. Lady gave it to me at about 50.00 less than what it was. I never received confirmation email. So I called, it took me calling twice to get the email.
After a few weeks call back to find out where treadmill is, they told me the treadmill I ordered was discontinued and they failed to tell me this when I originally ordered it, why was it still showing online that it’s in stock? So they upgraded to next model, at no additional cost. Threw in a floor mat free and told me I would get free assembly. Again a week went by and no treadmill. I called again to find out where it’s at, they told me it was on back ordered, again failing to notify me.
I confirmed that I was still getting floor mat and assembly, and they told me they never told me assembly, and went as far to calling me a liar, and re listen to the phone call where I originally ordered the first treadmill that later turned out to be Discontinued. Where I declined assembly for THAT specific treadmill because I had previously had that one and knew how to assemble it. When I called the gentleman who corrected the issue and upgraded to the newer treadmill offered me the free assembly and floor mat for all the inconveniences. And they failed to review that call but called me a liar. I am very upset with ProForm and will no longer do business with them.
Proform Treadmill LT 600 - I set the speed to low [2]... It speed up to 3.4. I dropped it back down to 2. A minute maybe 2 at 2 and it suddenly jumped to 4.8 speed in a split second. Too fast to get my feet up on sidebars. The safety clip came off my garment not the machine. I kept hitting the stop bottom as I screamed bloody murder for someone to help me as my legs were being chewed up by the conveyor, sanding down to my bone on my knees and just above my right ankle. So bad it charred my skin. (Can you say Barbeque?) I ended up having to let go after it grabbed my pant leg ripping them off of me. I have never been so terrified in all my life. I was on it for time as I have a chronic muscle condition, not for incline or increasing speed. My remission came to an abrupt end. Back to full body misery. Be careful.
This is a terrible company!!! We ordered a treadmill on 12/11/17 and we still do not have the treadmill a month later. You cannot get anyone in the phone nor can we get anyone who can help us at all. We want to cancel the order but it is impossible because we cannot get anyone on the phone. Please do not use this company!!!
Ordered a Pro2000 on 11/24/17 after being told it would take 2-3 weeks and never received it. Called a couple times, but hung up after being on hold. Finally on 1/3/18 stayed on hold for 20 min and was told it was at secondary delivery service and would get contacted for delivery in 24 hours. Wrote an email and never got a response. Was not contacted in 24 hours so called again. Was on hold for 14 min to be told that treadmill never got to secondary location. Asked to cancel order and have been on hold now for an hour trying to talk to billing department. Called sales at ProForm on another line (while on hold) and got through right away! Told them what was going on and they were very rude and said they couldn't do anything. Customer service is horrible.
I purchased a ProForm treadmill November 27th from the Proform site. I was told it would be delivered to the local delivery company in 10-14 days. Then they would contact me for delivery. This was a Christmas gift and to make a terrible long story short I am still waiting for the treadmill and it is January 2nd. Needless to say I looked foolish on Christmas when the treadmill was suppose to arrive 2 weeks before. I tried calling customer service only to wait on hold for a hour before talking to someone, then was told the manager couldn't speak with me. I then asked to speak with cancellation department where I was placed on hold for another 45 min. I eventually hung up. So January 2nd and still no Treadmill! The worst buying experiences ever! I would rethink your purchase.
I purchased a TL ProForm 5000 on 11/27/17 as a gift for my wife for Christmas. Today is 12/30/17 and I have yet to receive it. I ordered it with a before 12/23/17 guarantee. That's a big joke. Now I can't even cancel the order because you get left on hold for hours. Have been on hold for over 2 hours now while I write this review. BE CAREFUL. Also, be advised that ProForm and NordicTrack are basically the same company which are under Icon Health and Fitness.
I ordered a ProForm 5000 on 11-24-17, two days later I received an email stating that the item has been shipped with a tracking #. I still have not seen any information on the tracking and it's now 12-18-17. I am currently calling ProForm to get some help and have been waiting to get through for 1 hour and 11 minutes so far. While waiting I tried live chatting and it took over 30 minutes and when I did not respond quick enough they disconnected the chat. Tried chatting again they said it was delivered which it was not. They gave me a number to call to get this rectified. Not really sure how it'll help as they are the company. So discouraged. Will NEVER buy again from ProForm... :(
I would never buy another Proform. Mine had been down 3 months, numerous calls to Proform, numerous parts being sent out, most in duplicate, neither their phone nor in home technicians (twice, which we paid for) were able to fix it or figure out what was wrong with it. Today, after much frustration, an unrelated technician which we called came in, immediately diagnosed the problem, (it was a part they had previously sent out and it was bad) had the part in his car (we had to wait 1 1/2-2 weeks each time Proform decided to try another part), and fixed the treadmill and serviced it as well all for $150 and we had to pay $169 just to get the Proform tech out here!
If we had stayed with Proform we would have thrown out a useless $1200 treadmill. Their customer service and technicians don't know what they are doing and they just guess and send out another part. It was less than 2 years before this broke down. We have a previous Proform that is 18 yrs and running fine still in the basement. Both Proform tech and this technician said the older ones were much better. Don't waste your money. You will be very sorry and frustrated.
My husband and I are both avid runners, so he bought me the ProForm Treadmill for Christmas December 2016. We ran on it several times a week, mostly when the weather was rainy, 3 miles each. After only a few months, the screen started getting glitchy. After only 5 months, the treadmill would not turn on and the drive motor wouldn't work. There is a year warranty, so I called customer service and began the worst customer service experience of my life. The representative told us we needed a new control panel & Drive Motor installed, but we had to install it ourselves (but they said it would be an easy install). It took a week to get the parts then my husband had to install them. IT WAS THE WORST INSTALL EXPERIENCE! VERY TIME-CONSUMING! Then guess what, the parts did not work!
We call customer service back and they diagnose a completely different problem and say they will send us a new power cord and power switch to install ourselves again. We demanded a technician to come out and complete this install because we refused to go through that again. The Representative was supposed to put a 2-day rush on the parts order (normally takes 5-7 business day). We waited over 5-7 business days before we called PROFORM back to check on the order status of the parts. The representative NEVER SENT OUT THE ORDER. So then we waited another 2 weeks for the parts to arrive to our house before we're allowed to schedule the technician to come out. We called the technician service UNITED (company ProForm uses) and they didn't have any availability for any techs to come out for another 2 weeks.
It has been over a month then finally the tech comes out when we have all the parts ready. The Tech Marty was amazing and gave us lots of great information unfortunately he still couldn't fix the treadmill because PROFORM sent us a FAULTY CONTROL BOARD!! Marty reordered a new one for us. Now we have to wait 5-7 more business days for the part to come and then we can call the service company back to schedule a tech to come back out to install the working parts and who knows how long that will take. This has been the worst experience for such an expensive purchase. Almost $1,000 down the drain and now I am looking into ways to sell this treadmill to buy with a much better brand and company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BRAND! ICON/PROFORM IS NOT GOOD QUALITY!
I like that the Proform treadmill has a calories counter. It helps me keep up with that. I also like that it has a cup holder to hold my water bottle. It's easy to use and easy to understand. I enjoy using this machine because it's easy to workout on. The ride is smooth and you just glide right thru the exercises. It is easy to control, even my 86 year old grandmother enjoyed using it. I've used other machines before but I love how I can work out in my own home without having to go to a gym with all the privacy one could want. The machine provided enough resistance where I can get a really good feel and burn when I am working out. The grips are comfortable as well as the foot paddles.
The handling could be improved a little and more tension to make the workout more intense. The machine is also slightly bulky, which is to be expected. The problem with them all is the size. The machine is affordable and fits okay in my home. They could add a spot for an mp3 player holder or even just more storage to hold other things and have larger parts that are already together so it's a smoother quicker setup. Also, more skid proof to make it safer and more durable. It was worth the buy and more than worth in enjoyment what I'll get out of it in the end.
I like everything about ProForm. It has lasted for a long time, can hold up to 400 pounds and taken a lot of wear and tear and has never needed repaired or broken. It is easy to set up and take down. It has a heavy duty plug and cord and it can be moved easily because it has wheels to tilt it on. It is also easy to store and doesn't take up much room when it's in storage mode.
ProForm is a less expensive brand but durable. This should be a more popular brand. It lasts a very long time plus it looks attractive. There are one guards under the treadmill itself for easier impact on the knees, much less strain and much easier than walking on concrete. Very easy to set up, easy instructions and lightweight pieces to connect. It came with a screwdriver for me. The operation of the machine is very good and simple. However, I dislike the preset speeds it has since they are too fast for the average user like myself. Other than that everything is still holding up after a good ten years of heavy use.
I like many features about my ProForm Treadmill including the fact that it has handrails so if I stumble I won't fall all the way down and I'll just keep running. Some features that I dislike about my ProForm treadmill is that it has a judgy vibe to it when I am not using it. I feel like it is glaring at me as I watch TV. The process of set up and use of my ProForm treadmill is one of relative ease. It doesn't take a caveman to figure it out. Heck, even a politician could figure it out.
ProForm was a easy setup model out of the box, just have to put the side handles on and put the tray on. Only a screwdriver was needed but opening the box was somewhat hard. I can raise level while on it, have fixed. It has different workout levels, a heart rate meter, and it measures distance in miles walked/run and calories used. However, it only goes up 5 elevated levels. I also have to step off the mill to measure heart rate. It's heavy to move to another location and have to remember to oil the belt every 12 months or so.
It is easy to use but I had the technician put it together. I like the different settings, like the hit and hills. I also like the color and the way it folds for storage. I like the way it works well. I like a lot of other things about it also, almost everything about it. On the other hand, I dislike the price. It was too expensive including the insurance.
I have a ProForm Crosswalk. It's easy to set up and use, basically just plug in and go as we bought this used but wish it could fold up. It's a decent treadmill for the cost, works for all members of my family. I like the emergency stop button and that it can change speed and elevation easily. I like the Crosswalk feature, digital readout on time, calories, etc. It has all features that we need. I wish it was a little wider to give me more room and a bigger book stand to put my Kindle on. Also digital readout could be brighter. Also would like it to fold up to put away but it does not. It is also very heavy.
Sweatband have kindly replaced the treadmill, no thanks to Proform who refused to honour the life-time frame warranty. Sweatband, on the other hand, resolved the problem professionally.
I purchased a ProForm treadmill from Sweatband mid-2013. I had nothing but trouble with it as the suspension and shock absorption were never right, and the treadmill made a dreadful noise. An engineer came out twice. The noise and instability of the treadmill worsened recently and to my utter surprise there was a 2 inch crack on the steel frame (not on a join) under the hood where the motor is.
The treadmill came with a lifetime frame warranty, but both Sweatband and ProForm are denying that I had registered the product within 28 days. Regardless, as per Sweatband's marketing, the 28 day registration was to extend parts and labour for 2 years (instead of the default one year). It was not for the lifetime frame warranty. They cannot explain how protected steel can crack and have just fobbed me off. The product has been discontinued (ProForm 705 ZLT) therefore I believe it had a design fault. I am taking legal action for false marketing and for being sold a faulty product.
Proform is very easy to set and it comes with directions in case but it is all self explanatory so even I was able to do it and the instructions were even in a few different languages for people who do not speak or read English. I like that I can pick the speed I want and choose the incline and set your goal for calories or distance or time and hook up my iPod so I have music. The only thing is that the controls or handsets on handles are touchy so when I want to incline it sometimes keeps going up more than I wanted but it only does that on occasion.
ProForm’s actual operation is reliable and excellent. I like the amount of information (such as speed, steps, calories burned, etc.) it provides about and during the workout and all the various options on how to use it - speed, programs etc., but wish the front part (where the display is with all the info referenced above) and the treadmill part itself was a bit smaller/lighter and therefore easier to store if necessary, and move/reposition so I don't feel stuck in one place.
ProForm is interesting for us so far. High quality, works without any problems. The thing has all the bells and whistles as far as a treadmill goes. I actually enjoy it and I haven't had any problems so far with it so I'm a happy customer as of now. My boyfriend does the process of setting it up and taking it down but we have an exercise room so we don't really ever have to set up or take down.
I like that the treadmill (ProForm) was a newer version of the latest treadmills. I had very smooth walks, jogs, and runs while using this treadmill. I use this treadmill every day and it helped me maintain my body type and to lose extra weight that I had gained in the past. I still use this treadmill to this day. At first, it was difficult to set up the treadmill because it was the first time I had owned a treadmill. But then I called a few people that I knew had treadmills. And they helped me figure it out and made it a very easy process. And it took me no time to have the treadmill up and working. The machine was very bulky and took up a lot of space in my living room.
After reading the other reviews concerning the customer service I had to get on here and refute the claims. I had nothing but good, professional and courteous response from them concerning an in-warranty treadmill issue.
The ProForm treadmill is bulky and a bit too large. It's very heavy, which makes it difficult to move. The tread is not super smooth in movement, and a bit noisy. But it has rollers on the front end, so when folded up, you can roll it around. Use and settings are easy to change and adjust. I like that the settings include adjustable incline and speeds. Shows progress/distance through lights around track. Has timer and calorie counter. Control of setting Includes a adjustable fan. It suits my purposes and use.
Setting my ProForm treadmill up was easy, and the instructions were easy to understand. It is easy to operate, and all the buttons are descriptive and mostly self-explanatory. The help manual is also very helpful for any additional questions. I like the safety feature (red key with clip), it gives me a sense of security so I can exercise freely. It also has a wide range of speeds and program options. But I dislike the fact that the base of it, the conveyor portion, gets kind of hot sometimes. However, this is the only downside.
The people from Sears set my ProForm treadmill up, so was very easy to start using. Operating the treadmill was very easy. All the controls are right in front of you so easy change while using. I can change speeds, it is self-lubricating, has an incline I can use and some programmed workouts I can use. It had a heart monitor rate belt that you can use to keep track of heart rate. It also has a safety feature, it will stop if the key is pulled out like if you fall. There are no features I dislike. When I first got some of the silicone sprayed on my carpet, so having some kind of protection to prevent this would help. Maybe be more shock-absorbent to help the knees and feet would be nice.
I think ProForm is a really great brand. I like how it's a really sturdy product and also how it still works after all these years after I've used and abused it. It gives great exercise for my leg muscles. But I'd like more configurations. I would like to be able to adjust it so that it gives me more resistance when I run. It gave me something of an incline while I run and so I would like it. I think that there are a little too many buttons on it. However it is pretty easy to use. I think the button settings may take a little while to get used to but overall it is a wholesome experience.
I have to assemble my ProForm treadmill once I got it and took me about 30 mins to put the whole thing together. There is a built-in heart rate monitor and I can play MP3 with the treadmill. There is also a large LCD for me to use that helps me navigate the treadmill and use all the functions. There are also many setting and apps for me to use. But I think the MP3 feature is kinda bad because I tend to have my own phone with me all the time. Heart rate monitor is the same. My Apple watch does the same thing.
I like the incline, speed, and led display to be able to keep track of progress. The structure is very sturdy, very well built and has all the features I want. However, it takes a lot out of me sometimes, could have better balance. The cup holder is a little small. It could also have a tv built in, dvd to use. But it do the work for me all the time and very easy to set up. Out of box only took 10 minutes to set up. Setting are very easy to set and adjust while working out.
I had the men who delivered the ProForm treadmill set it up. They had it put together fairly quickly in 15 minutes or so and was fully functional when they left. I like that I can choose what kind of terrain to exercise on whether it's uphill, flat terrain, etc. It also has an emergency button that I can hit to stop it in case I fall. It can go up to 15 miles an hour which is nice for me to use to exercise my dog who is slightly overweight. However, I would like if the treadmill could rise up at an angle more so than it does now. I would also like if my treadmill could link with my heart rate monitor that I'm wearing and display it on the screen.
ProForm has cushioning to protect my joints. I love how when running I feel less impact which makes me feel better. I also love the integration of guided workouts which makes me look forward to working out. However, the space saving design isn't that useful to me. I don't feel the way it folds saves me much space, so I keep it tucked away in the corner of my room. But it's easy to use. Once set up everything to figure out. I just plugged in the machine, jumped on and started playing. I love tinkering over reading the manual, which I'll do if I have to, and this treadmill made it easy to navigate through all the options.
I really enjoy the entire ProForm feature because I can wrap up my workout. It has a built-in fan as well as a place for my headphones and I can check my pulse. It's great with all of its features, easy to use, I can go fast or slow with an incline or regular, it's just a great tool. All the buttons have big writing and are easy to read. The on and off buttons and all of the features are easy to find.
We ordered our ProForm treadmill, took weeks to get here. Dropped it off in the garage. Didn't even bring it in our home. The guys were lazy and rude. For the money we spent we should have went to another company that would treat us with the respect we gave them. Stay far away.
ProForm is foldable for storage, has a heart rate monitor, adjustable incline, has a nice large LCD console display, 18 workout apps and great cushion. I enjoyed it but I would like a tv or radio attached but I do have a music port to plug in my iPod so that's just as good. It was very easy to set up with step for step directions and I followed them so I had no problems.
I like that ProForm inclines and has specialized programs to make me work harder. It also has a fan that helps keep me cool and dry. It has set schedules of inclines and hills to make me work harder and longer. The timer helps move time along. I also like that I can listen to music I can plug into it easily. However, I dislike how loud it is. It is hard to hear anything while I'm using it. I also dislike how heavy it is and that it was quite expensive and sometimes the belt sticks and makes me feel like I may fall. I don't like that it's so bulky and cumbersome when it's out. It takes up too much space unless it's stored in its folded position. But it was easy to set up. It folds away for easy storage when not in use. It has wheels that help to roll it out of the way much easier. It has a program that you can choose manual settings or you can customize a program to suit your specific needs and work out routines. Overall it is needed.
With ProForm, I can use my iPod to listen to music. It calculates my heart rate, miles, and speed. I can stop it anytime if I want to get off and perform other exercises and then just restart from where I left off. I just turn it on, attach the safety string to treadmill and one end to me. Hit whether I want to walk, jog, run or use the inclines. I can incorporate it into any routines. I can also use the SD card that comes with it to perform other routines. I am very happy and I love the treadmill. It does everything I need.
Proform treadmill's construction is fairly good. It's my first treadmill bought low to mid range priced. I like the programs and the ease of use. It's not too big and yet strong enough. However, I have problems hitting the front cover of the tread when holding on to the handles which causes me to stumble a little... I also dislike the placement of controls. And my feet hit the cover when I hold on to the bars tread - need to extend further in the front of the machine. But it is easily moved and was easy to assemble. I did it by myself didn't take to long. Parts were damaged during shipping but call service center and was helped and sent replacement part quickly.
The Proform xp 615 has all digital all settings for great workouts. It's easy to use. I feel like I really don't have to go to the gym and love the privacy using right in my own home not having to feel like I'm in some competition working at my pace and comfortability. I wish it had a built in tv with headphone jack plugin being while you're working out the time passes that much more quickly. Nevertheless, it was extremely easy set. Was more or less unfold and tighten up screws. As far as operation goes very self explanatory as to what workout you want to do on a given day and just as you would find in a health fitness center. I love the quick shut off safety feature for the key as I've had to use once for an emergency stop feature since I move had MCL surgery prior and my knee had buckled once.
The ProForm is a great product and very efficient and you can set it up all by yourself. It is lightweight and portable and it was easy to assemble with easy to read instructions and a lightweight box. It had built in speakers, workouts, fan and calorie monitor. It also has adjustable speeds and elevation. It would be nice if I had bluetooth capability so I didn't have to plug in my phone. The ability for me to program my own workouts and save them would be nice too.
I like that the Proform treadmill has different settings for the different intensity of workouts. I also like that it folds up and tucks away into the corner and takes up lil space. The treadmill has quite a few features that some may like and others may not like. I dislike how you can't connect it to the internet to track calories burned. I would also put a cupholder that fits sports drinks better and also maybe somewhere to put your phone while listening to music. But its really not much to improve as it works very well. Also, it was quite easy to set up. It was a lil bit heavy but it worked well right out of the box without any complications whatsoever.
Although I registered my new treadmill I have not been able to contact customer service in any form. When I call I receive a message that no account is associated with my phone number. Live chat does not work and the email form requires the serial number which won't accept my number. I have never experienced such deplorable customer service.
The Proform treadmill is very true to the speed it lists, not lower or faster. I like that it is commercial grade, it is a heavy duty machine and has iFit features, it has a wide base and holds a person up to 350 pounds. The one thing I would change is that I wish the fan was stronger, it is very weak and you can barely feel it at all. Other than that I have no complaints about the treadmill. It is very easy to use, I lower the baseball using the hydraulic lever and hit my settings and I start my workout.
I ordered a treadmill, waited a few weeks for some sort of call to schedule delivery, when the call never came, I started calling them. No one helps you, they never get back to you, they gave me a phone number to their shipping department that is no longer in service. And the cherry on the sundae is I finally got an email from them, after almost 4 WEEKS and it was to say that my treadmill was returned to ProForm because the warehouse damaged it! Called them and was put on eternal hold. STAY AWAY from ordering from their website, go to a store and buy one!
Never... Ever will I buy a ProForm Treadmill again!!! Bought it in August of 16 and now on my second motor. I paid out of pocket the first time to get it fixed. I asked if they could give me something for reimbursement. They said no. They can not do that. Now I am waiting for a call and another week of a broken treadmill before their "trained" technician can fix it. The supervisor Cheyenne was no help and interrupted me. VERY VERY RUDE!!!
I enjoy using the ProForm GTS Crosswalk. It fits mine and my daughter’s needs. It is also very easy to use and put together. All you need to do is insert plastic key and then turn it on. You slide the bar up to whatever speed you need. It is quiet and has the handles to exercise the arms, too. It folds down and tucks away in the corner of the room. It has a cup holder for water. It is very heavy though and a little bit long.
Proform has numerous settings so you can adjust it to your specific requirement. It can be set to automatically change speed and incline, or it can be set to specific speed and incline and changed manually. It shows speed, incline, distance, time, and calories burned during the session. It has a cable that can be clipped onto your clothes that will immediately turn off the treadmill and sound an alarm if it's disconnected from the machine. It can be folded so it takes up less space. I would like it to be easier to fold up though. It's rather heavy and awkward so I just keep it unfolded. But, that inspires me to use it every time I walk by it. It's extremely easy to set up and use. Even though it has numerous setting options they are well labeled and self explanatory.
Proform treadmill is easy to set up and very easy to use. It folds up and stores very well. Every thing on it is self explanatory. I like that it tells how many miles you walk and how many calories you burn. It keeps track of your heart rate and your incline. No need for any books or manuals because its all computerized. However, a fan would be nice so you could cool off as you walk. It would also be nice if it had either music or a little portable dvd so you could be distracted when you were walking and to take your mind off things. I think you would be able to walk longer.
I like that ProForm has speed, calorie counting, incline and distance features so I can track the progress of my workout. With all of these I feel a bit smarter that I know exactly how many calories I'm burning and the distance I can run in xy minutes. When I first bought the treadmill, I had the deliverers place it in the basement as it was too heavy for me to put there on my own. I then had to do some minor work like put on the wheels, assemble to rail and the control panel.
Ordered a Proform Power 995i two years ago and had to replace the console four times through warranty. The first time I had to replace it was when it was in use and the power went out. The second time, the power went out while in use. The third time, the power went out. The fourth time, someone hit the power switch. Every time we turned the treadmill back on, it would be stuck in loading screen. On our fourth conversation with the warranty provider, they said that the treadmill has to be unplugged each and every time after use according to the instructions manual and that they would not help us again. That is like buying a television where you would have to unplug it every time you turn the tv off.
The Instructions manual also says "Servicing other than the procedures in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative only." The instructions manual doesn't cover how to replace the console, yet they wanted me to do it each and every time. They were kind enough to provide us a replacement console, but has come to the point where we don't want to turn the treadmill on because we might damage the console firmware.
We also called Proform and the only help they were able to provide was, "We are unable to provide you another console because you left the treadmill plugged in." I told him we already had a new console and the problem lies in the firmware being damaged when the treadmill is in use and the power goes out. Needless to say, stay away from Proform! Did I forget to mention that the treadmill has an on and off switch, yet we still have to unplug the treadmill. In order for me to use the treadmill properly, I would have to plug the treadmill in, turn on the power switch, then insert the safety key. Worst equipment ever and yes, we also plug it in to a surge suppressor.
We really love our ProForm treadmill and elliptical. We like that it can count your steps and calculates how many calories burned. My favorite and most useful to me is that it monitors my heart rate the entire time. It's the greatest exercise equipment out there, my whole family uses it on a daily basis. We love it and can't imagine not having it. Thanks Proform for making such great equipment.
Ordered a treadmill, waited two weeks, nothing. I had an email that stated it would be shipped in two weeks. I called, they said it's on back order and they have no idea when it will be available. Yeah I kind of wanted to use now not whenever they get around to it. They offered me a model that was similar and the same price so I looked it up. It doesn't fold. Why would I pay the same price for a machine that doesn't do one of the biggest features of the treadmill I chose to purchase? I called back, waited forever until I got a person, when I did I asked to cancel. Guy was really short with me, did not ask me why I wanted to cancel and they had no interest in saving business. Let's see if I actually get my money back.
I have really enjoyed this treadmill. I have had both knees replaced and it has been a great asset in keeping me toned up, giving me the miles of walking I need to do with the rain and cold we have been having.
Bought this treadmill as a replacement for a NordicTrack. The first time on it, the speed seemed off from what I was used to on the NordicTrack. For each mile, Fitbit said I was only doing 1710 steps which means my stride would have been 37". On a trail, I take 2000-2100 steps per mile. Because things didn't seem right, I measured the belt length then ran the treadmill at 4 mph and timed how long it took for the 124" belt go rotate 20 times (42 seconds). From there, I calculated the actual speed of the treadmill and it came out to 3.355 mph - a full 12% slower than the readout.
The treadmill also said that I was burning 170 calories per mile which is ridiculously high number, even with a 4% grade. Should be a maximum of about 120 for a 180 lb male. I have a support message into ProForm about this but I'm not hopeful that I'll hear back from them so my plan is to do some testing to create a graph which translates treadmill speed/distance readout to actual speed/distance and then just assume 120 calories per mile at 4% grade. Shouldn't have to do this but I'm not inclined to go through the hassle of returning this thing. Best I can do is to warn everybody else.
Definitely heavy duty and well constructed. Once you're on a flat surface it is fairly easy for one person to maneuver around the house unless you have found the ideal location for permanent placement. We have had it in the house and in the garage with no adverse reaction to temperature change.
Got an email from them about a black friday sale and thought I would buy an ifit module for my treadmill, filled out form which asked for model and serial of treadmill and placed order. Two weeks later got order in mail and instructions said insert cartridge in treadmill, could not find where and called customer support and was told my treadmill is not compatible and to send back. Sent back and after three phone calls and a month and a half later they gave me a partial refund and told me I ordered it online and it was my fault it didn't work and that they charged me a 15.00 processing fee for my return. Do not buy from this crooked company.
After you purchase their product, that's it. All they care about is the sales. Even support at their website is a robot, not a real person. So getting help is like pulling teeth. In addition, you are not informed of the maintenance of their equipment. They mention that a "special lubricant" is used on the belt, but it is never mentioned that it needs to be lubricated, every 12-18 months. I am told after a long search of what to do. The manual only mentions not to use a Silicone based lubricant because it "degrades" the belt material. However, they do not suggest to purchase their "proprietary lubricant" at $27.00 for a pack of 3 little tiny tubes. I will never buy from ProForm. I thought I was getting a great deal... NOPE, I was being bamboozled. And Oh, if you order the lubricant, it take 7-10 days, and they ship the item on the fourth day instead of the day it was ordered.
Nice and quiet for night time operating so others can sleep soundly. Easy control for speed at which I wanted to go. Kept it for years. It was even easy to work on the one time I rebuilt the motor. There was not cushions on my treadmill that I use. It was a sturdy frame with height adjustment for an inclined run. It was bought and used for exercise not for entertainment purposes. I got on and ran or walk as I seen fit to do so. No entertaining value. I bought my treadmill used at a flea market. It was about half the price and I talked the person down another $10 before I agreed to buy it from them.
I use it all the time. It's so helpful for me when I just want to run or do certain types of challenges. I love it a lot and hope many others will use it too. It's great! It's so soft and feels like you are running on air. It's helpful for those who might have foot problems! Love it lots! There are so many features for entertainment. It's awesome! It's good to sometimes get distracted from the pain. There is just a wonderful entertainment system. This product is so valuable to me because it keeps me in shape and I don't have to buy clothes for different sizes if I use it constantly.
It was a really good treadmill that lasted a very long time. It has multiple speeds and inclines. You definitely got a workout on it. It was very comfortable. I would walk up to 30 minutes and my feet would not even be a little sore. It was very enjoyable to walk on. It did not have many entertainment options. It was your basic treadmill. It would calculate how much you walked though so that was nice. The value was great. I was able to walk whenever I wanted to, day or night, summer or winter. It was perfect. Just hop on the treadmill and walk while watching a show.
Fast with no problems. No slow downs. Not even with my husband who is a 300 pounds man. Never skipped a beat. Reclined without a problem and never lost power. This product had enough cushion to support us and made us feel like we were walking on air! No bouncing! Cushion in the right place and enough of it to last. Had lots of options that I did not understand. Things for a mp 3 player. I do not own a mp3 player but it did have programs that you could work out with. The treadmill was a little expensive but worth every penny. All the options and cushions. I would recommend it to someone who wanted to lose weight or just exercise.
The treadmill ran very well. I never had any issues out of the motor. I used it for two years and only got rid of it because I didn't have the room for it anymore. Very comfortable running on it and had the perfect amount of cushion on it for maximum comfort without hurting my feet. I have issues with my feet and cushion was one of the main selling points on getting this treadmill over other models. I love the entertainment options on this treadmill. My favorite part is that I can hook up my iPod and it is also Bluetooth enabled. It also came with preloaded workout apps that have helped keep me on track. I was able to get this on sale so I was very happy about that. It has also added value to my life and helped my health become so much better. I actually enjoy exercising on this because I can just turn on my iPod and get lost in it and I don't even realize I'm working out.
Can use at different speeds and have been using for 10 years so it is reliable, I like to use a slower mode to walk which makes it more usable. It could use more cushion but it's been easy to use and it has enough absorption for running. I prefer to walk now but used to run on it and found no problems with the cushion. There are no entertainment options on this model. I usually watch a movie on the tv set near the treadmill. There is a rack to put a book or magazine on, but I find it too hard to read when running or walking. I don't remember the cost because it's been about 10 years. I researched a lot of machines and this one had just what I wanted for the price. I didn't want one with all the bells and whistles.
ProForm treadmill motor is durable. It is of high quality and assures long term use. It does not require frequent repairs. Regardless of the weight of a user, its motor doesn't overheat. The padding of the cushion is very consistent with the deck. The cushion makes the impact of running or walking on the joints less severe. Its cushion protects the back and other parts of the body from aches. ProForm treadmill has a well-cushioned deck that feels comfortable, doesn't wear out easily and reduces the risk of injury. Each fitness treadmill has built-in sound system and Wifi. ProForm has an iPod compatible audio port. Speakers and a tablet holder are well equipped on the machine. Its entertainment features make workout enjoyable. It has a good value. Prices differ depending on one's preference. Be assured that quality isn't compromised with ProForm. Each part of the treadmill is designed to withstand pressure and tedious workouts.
It goes to whatever you set the motor on, if you want fast it'll be fast. If you want to go a little bit slower you can set it to that. It runs very smoothly and works so well. It's very soft and has a memory foam like texture to it. It is perfect because sometimes seats can hurt to sit on for long periods of time. But not this one. It was very easy to hook up with entertainment. I love listening to music or watching TV while I workout on the treadmill. Makes the time pass quickly. For the value of the treadmill it works great. The treadmill is perfectly priced and valuable. You get your money's worth for sure.
The treadmill's motor is not too big nor is it too loud. It can be cleaned very easily. It has lasted five years so far with just a couple of cleanings. The treadmill's cushion is absolutely comfortable. It is not too hard and not too soft. It feels like you are walking on air. It is totally worth the buy. It has a few entertainment options. It has a plugin that you can plug your phone to load music on and it has different scenes such as mountains. You can feel as though you are walking in the mountains. This has given me the drive to wake up daily and push myself to use it daily to reach my fitness and health goals. It has made my life so much easier.
The motor on my treadmill is amazing. It's still working like brand new with no issues ever. I'm definitely happy I purchased this brand. Definitely has amazing cushion in step. I have a ton of problem with my back just waking but with this treadmill I've had less pain in my back from using. I definitely love the entertainment options on my treadmill. It exceeded in what I was looking for with tracking, keeping memory, and all the other extras it came with I didn't expect. Definitely worth the price I paid for it. I got than I was expecting with what I had to purchase with money wise. I am very happy with the one I picked for the price it was.
Very pleased with the treadmill motor. The motor offered good power to offer multiple speeds depending on the level of exercising you wanted to do. The treadmill offered good cushioning to help you walk or run longer. The treadmill has a good feel that offered excellent support for your feet. This treadmill does not offer any entertainment features. The most it has on the treadmill is the book holder to place any reading material. The treadmill has helped us to have extra energy to deal with our day to day living. We feel better and stay more active due to its use.
It's a very nice motor. It does not make a lot of noise when it is on. It uses electric. It is a very quiet machine. I love how quiet it is compared to other brands. It's soft on your feet. I have only used socks once and it felt weird so from then on I go upstairs and put my sneakers on to use it. Mine came with a radio and a headphone jack. I love that I could jam out to the radio and use my headphones. Awesome. I also have the option to use my phone for like pandora. For the price I paid it's a wonderful value. I think I got mine for a great price. I paid 100 off of a garage sale site. Very awesome deal. I would pay full price for it also.
I did some research online looking for a treadmill. We were looking for a treadmill with swing technology. I placed my order online and I had an awesome experience purchasing it. It arrived on time and the people delivered it inside like they advertised they would. The treadmill was very easy to put together. The engine is quiet and well functioning. The cushion is fairly comfortable. In my personal opinion, I believe the cushion could have more bounce back. Overall the cushion is good. We got the basic model as we are more focused on exercise and less focused on many of the bells and whistles offered for the fancier models. Putting a treadmill in our home was one of the best decisions we ever made! This machine is so easy to use and helps support a healthier lifestyle!
The motor on my Proform treadmill was very powerful and strong. It helped me to do my workouts fast and at an increased rate. I would recommend it to anyone. The cushion on my Proform treadmill is very comfortable and I can do my whole workout with no discomfort whatsoever. I really enjoy the entertainment options as well. It has a TV, radio built-in. And I can plug in my iPod as well. I can even charge my cellphone from my Proform treadmill as well. The value was wonderful for my Proforma treadmill. I did get financial for the product. But it was still great value and overall quality.
The treadmill's motor is powerful enough to handle my running space, but sometimes seems to lag a bit. It does catch up on it own after a couple of seconds though. The cushion is comfortable enough that I can comfortably run barefoot on the treadmill at a decent pace. I am comfortable on it with just socks, shoes and socks or barefoot. There are no entertainment options on my particular treadmill. I would very much enjoy one that has a tv built in to so that it seems that I am running through a particular area. The price I paid for this treadmill was reasonable and fair.
The motor runs smoothly and doesn't bog down or anything like that. The motor is pretty smooth running and relatively quiet. The cushion is ok. Not very soft but not very firm either. Doesn't hurt my feet when I'm running which is definitely a plus when running on a treadmill. Mine doesn't have entertainment options. It's just a regular plain Jane treadmill just has speed controls but I definitely wish it came with something entertaining on it. It was on sale and definitely in my price range so it was a score on my end. They usually run way high in the price range but I got lucky with mine.
Quiet and gets the job done. Speeds increase/decrease as needed. Smooth. Not jerky as some treadmills can be. A simple way to help lose weight or maintain weight, without too much sweat if you don't wish to. Cushioning is not bad. Not exactly walking on marshmallows, but a soft but firm walking experience. Doesn't seem to cause any foot/leg excess wear. No entertainment options included with this one. Of course you could always attach a phone, tablet on laptop if you wanted. I find the walking is enough to do without adding more. The value seems to be about even with other treadmills similar to it. Gives me the ability to walk indoors without all the outdoor fric and frac to deal with. Cold/Heat. Other People/animals. etc.
My treadmill worked well for as long as we owned it. The part you walk on was hard and not cushioned at all. There seemed to be a soft cushioned handle. There were no entertainment options on the model I owned. The item was a very basic treadmill with no frills. Only options to adjust incline and speed. I was happy with the value for what I paid, would expect more from a more expensive model if I have chosen to spend more money I would have purchased and own with more accessories.
