I bought my treadmill 11/2019. With that I also purchased the extended warranty. I have had connection issues with it since I have had it and it is NOT my internet. It would also lose my login information for iFit all the time. The screen started flashing iFit yesterday and after over an hour on the phone with them and being transferred 5 times, I hung up and called a treadmill repair company. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. I am so furious and I am $200.00 from paying the piece of junk off.
The physical treadmill itself works just fine - no complaint there. The software is extremely annoying if you do not choose to use an iFit subscription - every time I use the treadmill I need to decline to set up wifi and select "manual start" which is a 3 step process. I guess everyone is expected to hook every appliance in your house to the internet these days, but I am not interested in that.
My principal complaint is with the "free trial" of the iFit program that I was signed up for. As I mentioned, I didn't want to use it, so I never even tried it. However, a year later, I found that I was billed $420 for an annual renewal! I did not sign in to the website, so I thought I was safe from auto-renewal, but no, ProForm "helpfully" transferred my credit card information from the treadmill purchase to the iFit subscription. And ProForm are refusing to give me a refund!
I have no doubt I simply missed something in the fine print (and probably an email, too) but this is a terrible scam in my opinion. I would not recommend purchasing anything from ProForm!
I had no problems with the treadmill after getting it and using it for months. Suddenly in February it accelerated without prompting to the fastest speed available. I was yelling for my family to help. The treadmill threw me off onto the floor on my face. I was bruised all up on side of my body and my shoulder and knee were both very injured. Though I was thankful there was no head or neck injury, these injuries are still under treatment and have turned my life upside down. The MRI of my shoulder showed extensive damage and I received steroid shot and PT but I still develop debilitating painful stiffness.
At one time I could not even wash my own hair and driving although I have started again continues to flare it up. My knee is under treatment now and has cause terrific pain. It was a terrifying experience and I will never get on that treadmill again. I cannot safely sell it as I do not want anyone else to be hurt by this product. So I am stuck with injuries that are taking a long time to heal and a huge treadmill folded up in my garage. This is very unfair. I will not resell it with the chance of it hurting someone else. I saw on the reviews that this happened to a lady named Raquel. Company please take this seriously. You are in the health business but you have cause injuries to customers health. Please contact me and tell me what to do. I am stuck with the bad merchandise which I will never use again and also with long lasting injuries still in the process of healing.
My treadmill starts malfunctioning in a year. I thought I were lucky enough since I paid for a 3 years warranty. This come the nightmare, they couldn't locate my extended warranty in their system after charging me for $175. First the machine broke down in a year and now they couldn't find my warranty; how could I trust this company. Definitely avoid ProForm if possible.
I purchased a Proform treadmill in January 2022. It worked great until early June when the walking belt would stop during a workout. I would have to exit and restart a workout and eventually, it began stopping after approximately 2 minutes of operation. Now the walking belt will not operate for more than 2 minutes even with a restart. The walking belt also began slipping. I have experienced a multitude of issues with support. I had to replace the motor myself as they didn’t have an available technician. When a technician came out finally he couldn’t figure out the issue. Support ordered new repair parts but are now ghosting me when I have attempted numerous times to try and schedule service. It is now September and I still have no treadmill.

Updated on 08/29/2022: After many phone calls (no ans or on hold for over hr) & emails re: 6mth old treadmill stopped working. With no warranty, they could not assist us. This should not have happened after only 6 months. We thought it may be the motor, it was very very difficult to find the one that our machine used. The website was not helpful and only after the company discovered we had no warranty, and had contacted Consumer Affairs then we were directed to the correct department for our purchase of the motor.
Original Review: Purchased treadmill new on 2/15/22. It starts, then stalls & restarts for no reason, when first starting to walk. Now the motor has failed. Can't find an exact replacement motor ( 82zy6-1). 6 Months old. Not happy.

I bought my Proform treadmill in Feb 2021. Bought treadmill from Best buy. My first one was damaged so best buy had to come get damaged treadmill and deliver a new one. After owning it for one month it would suddenly power down and power back up quickly. So I called customer service. They sent me a power cord. Told me I had to replace it myself. That did not fix my issue. It kept quickly stopping and going again with monitor shutting down and starting back up again. So customer service sent me a circuit board and told me to install that myself. By the time the circuit board was delivered and I installed it 2 months went by. That didn't fix the issue so they set me up with a repair man. The repair man told me the motor needed to be replaced. Customer service sent me a motor that took 2 months to be delivered and the repair man installed it. After that my treadmill worked ok until April 2022.
In April I noticed while using it the treadmill seemed to speeding up just a little bit as I was on it. It seemed to be faster when I had it on my normal 4mph. So I dialed it back. On April 28th in the morning workout I noticed the treadmill doing the quick stop and start again 2 times in my hour workout. Then that afternoon I turned my treadmill on 4mph. Stepped on it, after stepping on it the treadmill sped up to the fastest speed of 10 on its own. I tried to grab the hand rails to catch myself but didn't. I ended flying backwards landing on my dog's crate/kennel that sits a few feet behind it. I pulled a muscle in my back and side as I tried to catch myself. I called customer service right away. I asked to speak to a manager. I was rest assured by the man I spoke to he would make sure I get a refund for the machine. I was on the phone 45 minutes with him. He took video of treadmill. Told me he was filing the claim for to start the process of the refund.
He told me I would hear from another department in 3-5 days. He seemed concerned about my treadmill. Told me he had heard of proform treadmills doing that before. I told him I no longer wanted that treadmill and did not trust it and wouldn't use it. 3 days went by. I didn't hear from anyone. Never got a confirmation email so I called again. This time I get a manager named Emma. She couldn't find the complaint or the filing of the refund the gentleman was supposed to do 3 days prior. By this point I'm so frustrated I wanted to scream. I'm tired of this company not fixing my treadmill issues correctly. I'm tired of having a treadmill that I owned for 14 months but couldn't use 4-5 months of that time. She told me she seen the video he took but didn't see the claim. So Emma said she was filing the claim that I would hear from the legal dept with in 30 days about a resolution.
I told her my only resolution is a refund. I don't trust this treadmill and wouldn't use it. I explained to her that I fell and pulled muscles. She also told me she had heard of a few other proform treadmills doing what mine did. I got a follow up email from Emma. Thought this time maybe I would get a refund. A couple weeks later I heard from someone else not from legal department trying to call and email me about getting my treadmill repaired. I replied to her by email explaining to her I made it very clear in my complaint I did not want it fixed and my resolution is a refund. I don't feel like this company cares about their customers. I am to the point I have contacted a few lawyers and thinking of a small claims or lawsuit. I am someone who uses my treadmill everyday 2 hours a day. So this is very frustrating and disappointing that this company won't do what they need to do to give me good customer service.

Possible injuries on our machines are taken very seriously. Any reports of injuries are immediately sent to legal authorities for further investigation. It takes approximately 30-60 days to respond to these reports.
We recommend at least 8 feet of clearance behind treadmills and 2 feet on each side for safety.

I can’t attest to how the actual treadmill is but the company has been a nightmare to deal with. I’m a couple of days shy of 3 months since ordering and still have not received the machine despite it being “in stock” when I ordered it. It finally reached the local delivery company and they scheduled our delivery day which has come and gone and we have yet to hear an updated delivery time despite trying to do their online chat, filling out their contact us form, and calling which I held as long as they allowed and they gave me an automatic message that they’d call back when a representative was available. Apparently a representative still is not available. Such **. What a nightmare! I’ll never deal with Proform again.

I purchased your treadmill, the activation code never worked, and I called customer service several times with no help. You either are on hold forever, when I did get a person she said she was going to get me a new activation code and put me on hold, then after being on hold for 20 minutes I got disconnected. Do NOT WASTE your money. I have wasted over 3 hours trying to get this problem resolved, attempting to get an activation code and a working treadmill! I am considering hiring an attorney. What a total rip off!!!

Had 4 no shows from their technicians to service my elliptical. Took four months to come out. Finally a young man showed up who appeared to have zero knowledge of the product. Did a horrible job and I ended up using my tools to make repairs. I would not accept a product from this company if it was free. Horrible product and service experience. I later found out it is common practice for their technicials to not show up. STAY AWAY from anything that ICON makes. They are the main company that sells all these products under different names.

If you do not want to use Ifit or hook up your machine via bluetooth do not buy this machine. Without any notice my credit card was charged $250 for a membership renewal for IFit, which I have never used. Not once! You can not keep your stats if you do not have IFit, and one weekend my internet went out and I could not use the machine. I paid $1800 for this machine and what I going to pay an additional $250 every year just to use a feature which should be free, it's a rip off.

We are sorry about any miscommunication that has occurred about iFIT membership fees. At activation, you are often given a free trial to iFIT and can then elect for the auto renewal to go forward or you can downgrade your account in order to stop the membership at the end of the free trial. We cannot legally charge you without prior consent.
The internet is required for automated workouts. However, manual controls should still be available to you without WiFi.

We bought our ProForm 5000 Model Treadmill in October 2018. I am a 41 year old man, 5'10, 180 lbs. I was the only member of our family to ever use it, and I did use it almost every day. We also purchased the extended warranty. In June 2020, a piece on the lower portion of the treadmill frame broke off, causing the platform to become unbalanced, unstable and unusable. After some back and forth, we were told that it was irreparable because the broken piece was metal, and we were sent a new ProForm 5000 series machine. Great, right? Well, by the time we received it and got it put together, it was October 2020. By August 2021, the bar supporting the deck as it is elevated or lowered cracked, again making it unusable. Again, there was a lot of back and forth.
ProForm didn't want to cover anything, saying that our warranty ended when we got the second machine. They asked for pictures, which I sent; they said they would cover the repair and replacement but would cover nothing further because "of the condition in which it is kept". I asked what that meant - it's in our basement, but it's clean. So, it got fixed. Fast forward to December 2021, and the bar cracks again. I was persistent, again, and ProForm agreed to cover replacement and repairs. The repair people were out yesterday. They replaced the bar but said there are many other issues with the treadmill, which will require repair or replacement very soon. They almost didn't even want to put it back together because it is still in such disrepair, after barely over a year of use! Garbage product.

Without any heads up I was charged $250 for a membership renewal for IFit, which I have never used once! I have no stats and have never logged in my treadmill! No company should ever automatically renew any subscription without warning! Customer service rep Patrick was no help, and I will never recommend ProForm treadmills to anyone!

The Proform ifit has a large tablet screen that is useless if you don’t pay for the ifit membership after your 30 day trial. Seeing as how I already paid $2,000.00 for the treadmill I shouldn’t have to pay any more. Reviews say the tablet is capable of streaming apps like Netflix and say you have to call customer service for a code. Customer service says they do not authorize any third-party apps and if you try it will void your warranty. Will be returning since I can buy a basic treadmill much cheaper without the giant useless screen.

We are sorry you had the impression that third-party apps can be used on our machines; however, they are designed to run iFIT only. Even without a paid iFit membership, you have the option to run a small selection of onboard iFit workouts. (However, you will need a paid subscription to access iFit's entire workout library.)

I purchased a treadmill that came with the incorrect materials packaged to be able to complete the assembly. I am still waiting for the correct parts to arrive so that the assembly can be completed instead of having to look at a half assembled unusable treadmill. Terrible customer service and the excitement of having a treadmill at home is gone. At this stage it is probably best to see if the treadmill can be returned and purchase a treadmill from a company that actually cares about the customer experience.

We purchased this treadmill from Pro-Form (Icon) as we previously owned a treadmill from this manufacturer, and we were very pleased with the quality. However from the moment we received this unit, we've been experiencing problems with the unit. We're not certain if the problems are from manufacturing defects, due to shipping or from the "white glove assembly" we purchased. The walkboard was askew, the tread was rubbing on parts, and when running on the unit the squeaking was/is unbearable, not to mention that the speed calibration seems off.
We contacted customer support/service as early as 06/03/21 making the company aware of the issues. After sending numerous pictures, sound and video clips I was advised that they were ordering replacement parts on 06/04/21. Those replacement parts did not get to us till 09/08/21 at which time I was to schedule an appointment with their dedicated local service technician. So 3 months after!! When he arrived at our location to install the replacement parts, he deduced that other/more parts were needed which were ordered on 09/23/21. As of today, 12/30/21, we are still awaiting any information on when the anticipated replacement part(s) might ship - so 6 months and counting.
I've reached out numerous times to the company, requesting a replacement of the entire unit or some other kind of resolution however all we're getting is "we understand, we're sorry, etc." - but this has gone on too long now and is unacceptable when you spend almost $2,500 on a brand new treadmill - you expect it to work as advertised/promised. After my last communication, 12/21/26 I received a response on 12/26/21 that they would inquire about an ETA for the replacement part(s) and I have yet to get an update on this. I am left with no other options but to file complaints with the NCDOJ and others.

I bought a treadmill online and it was offered with full assembly at site. That part worked fine and I was thrilled to read that I had a warranty of one year of labor and two years of parts with this purchase. A little less than a month the machine was not acting correctly and would stop all of a sudden causing some danger to me and my partner. The first problem was trying to contact a representative at Proform who could honor the warranty. No such luck. We went around in a circles, till I called the company where I had bought the machine. I think they gave me one free service call just to shut me up. I believe Proform's warranty is a scam with all kinds of details not disclosed when the sale is made. I am sorry I bought this machine and am wondering if I am letting myself into unexpected long term costs that I may regret.

I am using this treadmill in my classroom so my students can work off some excess energy and then, hopefully, focus on their assignments. We've all heard about childhood obesity, so when I got this product at a reduced price in exchange for a fair and honest review, I couldn't resist the opportunity. I didn't want a real high-end model, in fear that my students might ruin it. The model I got is perfect. The motor and track are heavy and sturdy. The arms and other pieces assembled together quickly and the instructions were clear. I didn't need to call for support but appreciated that the information was included in case I did. The quiet, smooth-gliding track shouldn't be too distracting in the classroom, but the treadmill is a new addition, so all the kids want their turn and focus on when that will happen. I know the novelty will fade, but the ProForm, thankfully, will be in the classroom for the long haul.
When our new ProForm treadmill was delivered, the 55' trailer couldn't pull into our driveway, so the driver unloaded the box alongside the road. Luckily my husband was home at the time and he dragged the box into our garage. I was upset about the delivery but I was still excited to get the product. I helped unpack the undamaged treadmill, handed the parts to my husband, and I was using it nearly an hour later. I didn't need to call customer service to complain about the delivery as I anticipated. Everything worked out fine - including my first workout on our new ProForm!! This ProForm is the second treadmill that we've owned, but it is the first one that we've purchased new. I am really glad we have this ProForm! It is much quieter and the track rotates much more evenly and smoothly than what I was used to using. I feel confident allowing our kids to use it too. We received the product at a reduced price for this honest review.
I received the T7 treadmill by Proform a few weeks ago and it's been such a helpful tool in getting back to a healthy lifestyle. With a hunt coming up I've needed to shape up and this allows for that without the social distancing requirements of a gym or the cold weather outside. I did receive this treadmill in exchange for my opinion and I'm glad to have had the Opportunity. Fantastic machine!
I received the Proform T7 Treadmill free for my unbiased opinion. It's been great and the iFIT program is exactly what I needed to get moving, even inside. I really enjoy the color touchscreen, streaming videos and seeing the schedule for workouts. It gives me the variety and motivation to keep going. I had one issue upon setup and when I asked iFIT about it, I received a response within a few minutes. they were so helpful! Great service and great products.

*The floor you step on has some give to allow less knee issues but textured for grip.
*Allows for a long stride (thank you!).
*Buttons are simple to understand while software is fun and pretty easy to navigate.
*Foldable for easy storage.
*On wheels (small ones) for ease of moving,
*There's a power switch I spent way too long trying to figure out bc I didn't read simple instructions lol. If I'd have just read....
Good price point for what you get. It feels better made than most at the gym.
This is a great value for a Treadmill. Not all of the bells and whistles of more expensive models but has what you need for a good workout. It came with iFit subscription. The instructions included with the product made it a easy to assemble even though I do not do this type of assembly often. I appreciated that there is a 90 day warranty included with the product and the option to purchase extended warranty if we so choose. I also found the exercise and stretching guidelines to be useful and I am looking forward to getting the free meal guide which is available on request via mail. The treadmill itself is basic and a good value for the cost. Easy setup and great for space saving as it can be folded up when not in use. I received a discounted product in exchange for my honest feedback.

I have been looking into Proform products for a few months and I am pleased to have made my purchase with them! I had a question about the treadmill before I purchased it and the customer service exceeded my expectations. Proform has made losing the extra pounds that I have gained during covid easier. I have the Proform treadmill because I heard many great things about it, especially if you are looking for one that is compact and a space saver! I got this for my one bedroom apartment because I have been avoiding the gym due to covid. This fits perfectly in the corner and can fold with ease when I am not using it. I contacted customer service upon delivery and was connected with an agent very quickly. The agent was prompt and courteous and was able to help me very quickly. This comes with both a manual and account type of setup. I chose the manual type and it is exactly what I needed for my days when I would like to walk or run. Very happy!

I'm so excited to finally be able to workout in my own home and not spend time going to the gym. Pro-Form has provided a compact treadmill that not only fits in a small space but still provides a quality workout at an affordable price. The product arrived ahead of schedule with easy to follow assembly instructions. Everything was nicely packed/protected and labeled with minimal parts needing assembled. I especially like the app that gives you a 360 view of each step for set up making it impossible to make a mistake. The treadmill is a solid piece of equipment that is steady and sturdy under foot. I purchased a ProForm treadmill because I was looking for an at home piece of equipment. This fell within my price range and I had seen some good reviews of this company. Once I received it, I was pleased to see that it was a well built treadmill and that came with a free trial to IFit. The machine was easy to set up and does fold up to conserve space. The IFit trial is great because it works in conjunction with the treadmill to mimic intensity and terrain changes. The user does have the option to choose from many trainers from around the world so that you can always find a program to keep you interested. I bought this product just looking for a routine treadmill but I received a machine that I think will keep me motivated to continue with my workouts from home. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
I ordered this treadmill in mid August. The first one arrived damaged on 9/11 so they took it back and had another one ordered which arrived on 9/22. I paid the additional $200 to have them deliver and set up. The 2 men delivering apparently did not know what they were doing and I can't even use the machine. It wobbles so bad and there are parts missing. I called and now can’t get anyone to respond or come out to fix so I have this $2000 waste of space in my living room. Someone please help!!!!

I purchased my ProForm 9000 treadmill in February. It looks great. The screen is beautiful and it’s easy to use. Unfortunately this treadmill is a terrible design. The top part of the treadmill shakes so bad even while walking. It has now shook so much my screen is starting to glitch out and my treadmill is starting and stopping on its own. I’m so bummed about it. My $300 Weslo treadmill from Walmart was more sturdy and better than this. If you are in the market do not get this one.
