Beltone hearing aid models

Beltone offers the following types of hearing aids: invisible-in-canal, complete-in-canal, in-the-canal, in-the-ear, receiver-in-ear, mic-in-Helix and behind-the-ear. Their hearing aids cover a wide range of hearing loss, from mild to profound. Beltone has five models of hearing aids: Beltone Trust, Beltone Amaze, Beltone Legend, Beltone Boost Max and Beltone Ally.

  • Beltone Trust: The Beltone Trust is designed for people with mild to severe hearing loss. It’s available in a range of styles, including behind-the-ear and receiver-in-ear. It has a protective coating and technology designed to lessen the effects of tinnitus.
  • Beltone Amaze: Beltone designed the Amaze model for those with mild to severe hearing loss. It comes in a receiver-in-ear style. Rechargeable batteries remove the hassle of replacing disposable batteries. It is compatible with the HearMax app.

Beltone hearing aid prices

Unfortunately, you won’t find prices on Beltone’s website; however, this is fairly common in the hearing aid industry. High-tech hearing aids with adjustable programs, apps and tinnitus relief tend to come at a high price. Still, you will only end up paying a few dollars a day for a hearing aid that lasts several years. Although prices aren’t exact, you can expect a hearing aid from Beltone to cost roughly $2,500, with some costing up to $4,500 per hearing aid.

Beltone technology

Beltone has a wealth of additional features and technologies to enhance your hearing experience. A Beltone representative can tell you which smartphone app is best for your hearing aid.

  • Beltone Phone Link 2: This allows your phone to ring directly in your ear. You can answer your phone even if your phone isn’t on your person.
  • Beltone myPAL Micro and Pro: This wireless microphone extends your range of hearing up to 80 feet. This helps wearers hear conversations and other important sounds around the house and outside.
  • Beltone Direct TV Link 2: Just like it sounds, this lets you stream audio from the TV to your hearing aid.
  • Beltone Direct Remote Control 2: Adjust the volume on your hearing aid or switch audio streaming devices.
  • Beltone Tinnitus Calmer App: This app includes sound therapy and other exercises to reduce the irritation tinnitus can cause.
  • Beltone Hear Plus app, Beltone Hear Max app and Beltone Smart Remote app: You can adjust your hearing aid volume, adjust settings and more with Beltone’s convenient smartphone apps.

Do we recommend Beltone hearing aids?

We recommend Beltone hearing aids because they have a large selection of models and customizable styles, a broad sound coverage range and additional complementary technologies. We do wish pricing were more transparent, but their hearing aids are high-quality, making them a great option for the hearing impaired.

Updated on 01/08/2025: I wrote a one star review a few days ago. I got a call today from Beltone customer service. I discussed my experience and soon after got a call from a fellow who I think was the franchisee. He was not pleasant and did not care what I had to say. He hung up on me. In my earlier comments I forgot to say that the guy who did the exam seemed to have no professional credentials. At least he left the white coat on its hook. I am **.

Original Review: My wife and I visited Beltone for her to get the 'Free hearing test'. We wanted to get the test data to compare to other hearing tests. She got the 'free test' and was told she has moderate hearing loss. The test was not reviewed. We were not asked what features we might be interested in nor what our budget and she was instantly fitted for aids. Beltone brand? It was not clear what was going on. The aids were adjusted and there was an awkward pause. I asked about pricing and was told '48', I asked what did 58 mean. It meant $4800. We have no hearing aid insurance. I walked out. My wife was furious with me. It was a terrible experience and we did not do what we set out to do. Watch out.

Bought new aids 3 years ago. Had nothing but problems with connectivity with my phone. They finally gave me 2 reconditioned aids that were supposedly better. Never had a problem again for 3 years. Went last week and got my new aids and nothing but problems after the person at the store said I wouldn’t have any problems. Well guess what these aids are just like 3 years ago keep disconnecting or not connecting to phone. I been keeping records of every time it happens.

Salesperson was very polite informative at first but tried to sell most expensive Beltone hearing aids at $10,000. After 2 weeks, tried to get money back; they were resistant but finally agreed. Allowed me to try cheaper Beltone ($5000) on loan, which I appreciated. When I found comparable hearing aids for under 2000, tried to return them… Finally did but not a good experience. Pressure sales tactics not appreciated…

This hearing center at 14441 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX is listed as a National Hearing network provider by Aetna Medicare Advantage program. I went there to shop for a pair of hearing aids. Mr. Paden ** did my hearing test, and has done a good job, but when it comes to the price, he started with MSRP $11,744, then group discount..., final price $5,574, without mentioning Aetna $2000 allowance. With that price, I can buy a decent hearing aids without using Aetna allowance. Also, there is no free trial period from this store. I was told that I had to pay the full price, If I was not satisfied and wanted to return within 30 days, there was a restocking fee of $400. $400 for 30 days trial, do I have choices? NO thank.

I made an appointment months ago for your store in Clarksville, In. for 06/12/2024. I received a text asking if I was going to make the appointment. I replied yes to the text and then I received a reply saying thanks and that you would see me at the appointment. I drove to the office to find it closed. The sign on the door says the office is open on Wed, Thurs, and Friday. This is not the case.

I called the office in Corydon because I know they are connected. I was told that there was a new woman but that she was in Salem today. She had the new lady call me. She said that they called me yesterday to let me know they had changed the office hours at the Clarksville, In. location. She said they left me a message, neither is true. I didn't get a call or a message from Beltone. This office has had several issues in the past and now they are continuing. There is no excuse for making me drive to Clarksville when the office is not even open. And worse, there is no excuse for lying about calling me and leaving a message about my appointment. I don't see how you stay in business with practices like this. Do not go to Beltone.

Purchased hearing aid in Greenville NC office which is associated with neighboring Kinston NC Belltone office. Purchased hearingc about year and a half ago. Hearing aid needs service but both offices are closed and the parent company in Chicago does not know anything about these NC offices. Does not seem possible that the central office which supplied the hearing aids knows nothing of satellite operations using Beltone name.

Alana **. My experience with Beltone Hearing Aids and Alana ** began in February of 2019 when I was diagnosed with a mild hearing loss and was fitted with the Amaze hearing aids. I also quickly learned that the actual hearing aids are only one part of a multi-faceted number of parts necessary to attain improved hearing. A good hearing aid specialist is extremely important. I have yet to have a problem that Alana was unable to fix for me. I have always been able to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion and have never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room. I also have never felt rushed.

We purchased Beltone Hearing Aids from an in-network office yet they billed my insurance company from an out-of-network location which causes my insurance company to pay out of network reimbursements instead of in network reimbursements… $2000 difference.
