Beltone offers the following types of hearing aids: invisible-in-canal, complete-in-canal, in-the-canal, in-the-ear, receiver-in-ear, mic-in-Helix and behind-the-ear. Their hearing aids cover a wide range of hearing loss, from mild to profound. Beltone has five models of hearing aids: Beltone Trust, Beltone Amaze, Beltone Legend, Beltone Boost Max and Beltone Ally.

  • Beltone Trust: The Beltone Trust is designed for people with mild to severe hearing loss. It’s available in a range of styles, including behind-the-ear and receiver-in-ear. It has a protective coating and technology designed to lessen the effects of tinnitus.

Beltone hearing aid prices

Unfortunately, you won’t find prices on Beltone’s website; however, this is fairly common in the hearing aid industry. High-tech hearing aids with adjustable programs, apps and tinnitus relief tend to come at a high price. Still, you will only end up paying a few dollars a day for a hearing aid that lasts several years. Although prices aren’t exact, you can expect a hearing aid from Beltone to cost roughly $2,500, with some costing up to $4,500 per hearing aid.

Beltone technology

Beltone has a wealth of additional features and technologies to enhance your hearing experience. A Beltone representative can tell you which smartphone app is best for your hearing aid.

  • Beltone Phone Link 2: This allows your phone to ring directly in your ear. You can answer your phone even if your phone isn’t on your person.
  • Beltone myPAL Micro and Pro: This wireless microphone extends your range of hearing up to 80 feet. This helps wearers hear conversations and other important sounds around the house and outside.
  • Beltone Direct TV Link 2: Just like it sounds, this lets you stream audio from the TV to your hearing aid.
  • Beltone Direct Remote Control 2: Adjust the volume on your hearing aid or switch audio streaming devices.
  • Beltone Tinnitus Calmer App: This app includes sound therapy and other exercises to reduce the irritation tinnitus can cause.
  • Beltone Hear Plus app, Beltone Hear Max app and Beltone Smart Remote app: You can adjust your hearing aid volume, adjust settings and more with Beltone’s convenient smartphone apps.

Do we recommend Beltone hearing aids?

We recommend Beltone hearing aids because they have a large selection of models and customizable styles, a broad sound coverage range and additional complementary technologies. We do wish pricing were more transparent, but their hearing aids are high-quality, making them a great option for the hearing impaired.

The exam was comprehensive and options were explained. Explained how to use and scheduled follow up in a few weeks. Have no information on price comparison. Employees were friendly. Having multiple offices in case of service needed is a benefit.

My initial experience was horrible, honestly I said I'd never go back. My first review started that. After posting my initial review, The owner reached out to me to first apologize and ask what he could do to fix the problem and make it right. We discussed the situation and what happened. He said he would do everything in his power to resolve the issue and a few days later he called me with a resolution, we can certainly live with. Couple weeks later I got my hearing aids. I'm still getting used to them. It's an adjustment to go from not hearing well at all to hearing. Beltone in Mobile will do everything they can to meet your needs with care, dignity and professionalism. Thank You Beltone.

I purchased 2 of Belltone supposedly newest hearing aids, and they are not working! I have complained since I purchased them! I have written the company and had no response! I would get rid of them and replace them with ones from a different company that work except I have way too much money invested in them! I can’t afford to spend it all over again! I have seen 4 different of their so called specialists and they all try to fix the problem but with no luck! I have had both replaced because they didn’t work and still no solution!

I know nothing about the product. My review is about a marketing practice. I am a widow who received an envelope in the mail: address to my husband. Return address only said "Records Division" and "First Notice/Time Sensitive Document Enclosed". Honestly, it sent me into a panic attack. Imagine my relief when I finally open it up and it's a letter telling me that my dead husband hasn't visited Beltone for a hearing screening. If and when my hearing goes, I won't go to Beltone - because there is absolutely nothing wrong with my memory!

My husband purchased Beltone a few years ago, and has constantly had problems. He was told lifetime warranty if they could fix it in the office. But if it had to be sent into the company and repaired it would be $100 each event. That was no problem to us. But this morning he was told that one of his hearing aids could not be repaired and he would just have to buy a new ones for $8,000. So beware. They change their policies as they go. When I asked about the $100 to send in for repair, The receptionist, when confronted lied and said she never told us that. It's a shame to try to rip off elderly people but that seems to be the way of the times. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I had a hearing evaluation and purchased the best possible Beltone hearing aids less than 2 years ago. I have been back to the store several times complaining that they did not work right. In frustration I had my hearing and Beltone devices tested at a doctor of audiology office. The results were that my devices were not programmed for my hearing loss. I am so disgusted with Beltone that I wish not to deal with them on any level.

Lead time for devices was long (1+ month), and the time for appointments is also very long. The local office only has a tech one day per week. I have waited nearly three weeks to have moulded aids, but they can’t fit them for another two weeks. They did extend my period to decide whether or not to keep them. I have been using them for over two months now and overall I am not at all satisfied with the performance of the devices. I will probably return them and absorb the $500 “fitting fee”.

My father-in-law (Larry) is a 90-year-old disabled veteran who served his time in the Korean war. Back in February of 2023, he walked into the Beltone store on 435D Stated Road in Dartmouth, MA hopeful to find hearing aid's that might work for him. Sadly, on that day, the Beltone representative successfully persuaded him into a 4-year lease agreement costing him a total of $8,700 (throughout the course of the lease) with a $700 down payment. My father-in-law, when weighing the cost of the hearing aids, asked the rep if the VA would be a better option rather than paying so much money, as he is on a fixed income. Larry shared with his daughter months later that the rep discouraged the idea and said the VA would not be able to help him.

Unfortunately, on that day, he trusted the Beltone representative and ended up signing this horrible agreement with the hope that he'll be able to hear better. The rep told him if he has any issues, he could schedule with them to come back for any adjustments. Well, moving forward, Larry had been back at least 2 or 3 times to Beltone for adjustments that never worked for him. At one point, he was told by the representative his ears were blocked up with wax which prevented the hearing aids from working effectively. As a result, Larry made an appointment with his primary doctor to check his ears. The physician did the ear check and Larry was told he had absolutely no ear wax buildup.

With $201.19 being automatically deducted on a monthly basis from his bank account and with a total cost outlay to date of $4,700, he decided to share the agreement with Beltone to his family while feeling completely frustrated with what he got himself into. Back in October of 2024, I paid a visit to Beltone to turn in the hearing aids (that don't work) and to attempt to remedy the financial agreement. However, the rep I spoke to stated that Larry had to speak to the leasing company (Allegro/Synchrony Bank) to see if he could end the agreement. The Beltone rep reluctantly accepted the return of the hearing aids and stated that I'm not supposed to take them back, but I'll hold onto them. She then added, "This dispute is to do with your father-in-law and the leasing company."

Subsequently, I contacted Allegro, the rep there said, "You need to resolve with Beltone, as they were paid by my company a lump sum (approx. $8000) and it would be up to Beltone to pay the difference ($4000 balance) to them to resolve the contract." To sum up, this terrible ordeal, continues on and based upon the experiences my father-in-law has encountered, I would not recommend for anyone to do business with Beltone. They clearly took advantage of Larry for the sole purpose of making $$$$. On a side note, Larry ended up going to the VA Clinic (after being approved for a VA program as a disabled veteran) for a thorough examination and got set up with hearing aids that work really well for him and with no out of pocket costs. I felt it necessary to write this review with the hope others seeking out a solution to their hearing impairment to be very wary of Beltone.
