From a loyal customer for the Aunt Jemima products. Not seeing her picture on the products in a while sucks. And forced me to change brands. As a dyslexic and have a short memory I rely on familiarity, in all aspects of life. Sad move guys.

I have purchased and/or consumed Quaker Products over 65 years. I eat Quaker Grits maybe 25 days per month, and have most of my adult life. I have always been satisfied with the product. Recently I purchased a 5 Lb bag of 5 min. Quick Grits. They tasted more like they were made of corn cobs than corn kernels. I threw the bag away and went back to The Food Lion and purchased more. That bag was just as bad. The use by date was 10/02/22. Lot number AJ14 A 09:38. I might try another bag. Have you had other complaints on this lot #.

Our family used to love instant quaker oats but now it tastes like sawdust and is more gluey. I couldn't understand why my sons would no longer eat it till I tasted it myself and it was horrible. It was not just the one box because I have tried several since. It's the oat bran it's like powder. Wish the original recipe was still available. We won't be purchasing it as it is now sadly.

I always bought Quaker Oats. Today I made my usual cooking oatmeal from a new barrel box. It has changed in formula. Ugh! I couldn't finish it, it tasted very much like eating pure flour with some semi- crunchy fiber. I will never buy again...

Advertised as a superfood and heart health. The second ingredient listed is 11 grams of sugar per serving, almost 3 teaspoons of sugar in a serving of about 1/2 cup. Very harmful to health and misleading to consumers. Do corporations not care that their products harm our health as long as they get our money? Also, on hold one hour at the corporate phone number, very poor customer experience. I will not buy additional Quaker instant oatmeal. They should be banned from using claims of superfood and heart health. Instead they could say feed your sugar addiction.

I eat oatmeal almost every day for breakfast. I buy Quaker because one time I bought a generic brand and it made me very ill. It had this strange taste that would give me gastrointestinal issues so I stopped eating it completely. I've been eating instant Quaker Oats for years. Since I can remember. And over the past few months, I've noticed a change in their products. Not only did I also find some kind of hard plastic pieces in my oatmeal, but I also experience the same issues I had with the generic brand.

I ate 4/6 packets this week and they were fine. The last two packets were tainted with something. I boiled the water, let it sit as usual and then noticed this strange smell. I thought it was in my head or past trauma from the other poison oatmeal... But I started eating it and it had that "something's off" taste... I stopped eating it but it definitely made me sick. My body got rid of whatever it was as quickly as possible via diarrhea and loose stools. I'm wondering if it's mold, chemicals, or a combination. I just stocked up on oatmeal and now this happened. Time to move on, I suppose.

Since the age of 3 I been loving my Quaker oatmeal. I'm very sickly since battling cancer so I can't eat certain foods. I'm 62 yrs young. I never thought my nutritional oatmeal, my Quaker oats handed down from my nana would have weasel (tiny black /brownish bugs). You figure ok maybe once it's oats but, to go and buy another no problem with expiration dates. It's a go right? Well, again bugs. Three times, you're out. I spoke to the manager at M basket. He tells me it's the way of life that we eat many bugs and laughs, says, "All you can do is bring it back, get a refund and write the company." How sad my winter certainly won't be the same without my Quaker Oats.. I pray it doesn't happen with my Cream of wheat. FDA needs to step it up. Food isn't like it use to be and we consumers shouldn't be worrying about being sick from food or worse. Whatever FDA is doing please step up your game. It's just not Quaker oats. It's meats as well loaded with worms. Thankful for this site I read for heads up.

I've been eating from this box for two weeks and have just noticed inside the brown sugar package were not oats, but maggots. While on the phone with one of the representatives I decided to open another package and sure enough it too was infested with maggots. What shocked me the most is that the maggots are still alive and to know I've been eating them has me disgusted and furious. Before I mentioned attorney "Tim" wanted to just transfer me to the "PROPER DEPARTMENT". When an attorney was mention then he wanted to get someone else to speak with me. He then went further to assist by requesting photos.

I have been eating Quaker Oats grits and oatmeal for 30 plus years. I usually buy a large cylinder container from grocery stores. I bought several small boxes of pre packaged grits because they were on sale. I opened the packets of grits and they were almost completely filled with some type of powder starch filler. I am assumed it is their version of anti clumping agent. I mixed with water and with milk and is was disgusting. It had to be thrown in the trash. I contacted them via email and they refused to acknowledge the mistake and responded by telling me they were not giving me "free products". I don't care about "free products". I don't want to eat trash. They are obviously just another US corporation who doesn't care at all for its customers. I will NEVER spend a penny with them again. I don't care if I have to have my oats shipped from overseas, I will not support a group of ignorant people like Quaker Oats ever again.

I had one almost empty cylinder box of Oatmeal, as I cooked it, there were these hard looking (but were actually soft) reddish-brown bits floating around in the oatmeal as it cooked. Thinking something was wrong with remaining oats...I threw it and rest of oats away. Bought a new box... Made one bowl... Everything okay. Made second bowl a few days later and there it was again. Emptied box into bowl and didn't see anything in oats that looked like what I saw. Glad it wasn't bugs as some many others complained about. Oats don't taste funny or bad so I will try to finish box. I found two other complaints with same problem (Jan. & Aug. 2014) Does anybody know what this is? I shouldn't have to scrutinize my food before eating... If I see it in another box... I will no longer buy this product. Next time (I hope doesn't happen) I will try to remember to take a picture.

Today I opened up my instant oatmeal that had an expiration date of 4-2022, after pouring in I notice that there was movement in the bowl, looking more there were worms throughout the oatmeal. I would recommend anyone buying this product to think on this before as I am concern that this is not a random issue and that there are substandard quality controls within their process that allows infestation to take place. I contacted Quaker Oats and they wanted to send me coupons to buy more. I am done with Quaker Oatmeal and Pepsico products.. Please beware as they are not concerned with my complaint and you could get medically ill if you ingested their products.. CAUTION.

Aside from the fact that these bars keep getting shrunken in oz over time with no change in price, there is a line of glue from wrapper seam left on the bottom side of the bars. Lot: 20RB28D217 15:38. These used to be my kids favorites but I won't buy anymore if this is the quality control.

I have yogurt and granola every morning. Faithfully used Quaker granola cereal as my granola. Until a month ago when I purchased a new large box from Costco. I poured it into my container and saw a glimmer of light, pulled out a hard plastic or glass shard. I contacted customer support and was brushed off. Was sent two coupons for 4.99 each. I'll never use their products again.

Whatever product I just purchased is not the Quaker instant oatmeal I grew up loving. Since starting a semester of at home learning I needed something quick & easy to eat before class. I bought several boxes of instant strawberry oatmeal and it's horrible. It doesn't smell like it used to, it doesn't look anything like it used to and most unfortunately it doesn't taste like it used to... or good at all. It's a brown sludgy mess and the "strawberry" pieces looks like globs scraped from a sewage. I tried a pack from 4 different boxes and they all look the same.

Lately I have purchased the 20 pack box of them and when I catch water in the package to pour in the bowl, everyone of them leaks. This makes a mess on the countertop before I can pour it into the bowl! Just saying that the packages need to be sealed better! Thanks

I've been eating the Strawberries and Cream oatmeal for as long as I can remember and it's absolutely been my favorite breakfast food. Like so many others, I thought I'd gotten a bad box. I had to throw it away. I can't even describe how disgusting it was. So then I bought 2 more boxes and tried a pack out of each. Same thing. Couldn't finish it. So now I'm about to toss 3 almost full boxes of oatmeal. I hope the company is reading these reviews and goes back to the previous recipe. As of now, I won't buy another box.

Check T&Cs. Lack of transparency on “Good Morning” Amazon Echo Show 5. Means only some packs have a draw code and most do not. The implication of the advertising for this promotion suggests all packs are applicable. Yet, small print, read after purchase restricts greatly the competition. The promotion seems to be dishonest and a trick. Beware.

I honestly don't even know what to say. I thought it was just a bad box at first. Or maybe you released a variation of the Strawberries & Cream for whatever reason, that maybe I bought that box by mistake instead of the normal amazing product I've eaten my whole life (28 years). I was so scared to even try a second box, hoping to God that it wasn't true that you had changed your recipe. I finally had product from the second box I purchased, only to discover the same bitter disappointment. It's impossible to describe what's wrong with this. But it's overly sweet, weirdly bitter, the oats don't get creamy or thick in the least bit. The fruit chunks look black and the whole package smells deeply unpleasant. The characteristic pink hue the old recipe would take doesn't show up, and so many other issues. It just tastes wrong. Bad wrong.

In my youth I used to even put 2-3 packages in one bowl, because one was just never enough! Now, after one packet I'm tired of eating it. It's so heartbreaking to know that a company that's been around for DECADES and was beloved, made such an unfathomable recipe change and now is detested by so many. I had such a close bond with my grandmother, who recently passed away. Whenever I would visit her she always knew the way to my heart was through your oatmeal. From the time I was a baby, to even visiting her at age 26 she would make it for me as a "comfort food" of sorts. It was always something we shared and enjoyed together between the two of us. Losing her was the worst day of my life, and now losing something that we shared like this really twists the knife. I hope that you find it in your heart to switch back to the old formula. Why mess with a good thing so badly? For the life of me, I just can't understand.

One person I'm sure doesn't make a difference to you in the grand scheme of things. Knowing that I won't be buying anymore hurts me more than it ever will you, but by writing to you today I hope you can see at least a small part of what you did to the world that loved your products. It's sappy, I know. But honestly, it really does feel like a part of me died today. Going forward, if I can suggest ANYTHING, at least present OPTIONS to the consumer. Rake in huge amounts of money that way. So people who prefer the original formula can still buy, enjoy, and buff your bottom line, and then the three people who enjoy the new stuff can still buy that. Then EVERYONE WINS. You make twice the money. All customers are happy. Isn't that a world we should all live in?

I dont know what is going on with Quaker Oats lately. Since I was a kid I always enjoyed the maple and Brown sugar. I am 35 now. Now when purchase I never know what I'm getting. Most of the time it's like the oats are stale, they wont absorb water, plus a completely different texture and taste. Every now and then I'll get a box that is how it used to be. I see I am not alone in this. I sincerely hope Quaker sees all of these complaints and fixes the issue.

All of my life I have eaten the Raisin & Spice Quaker Oatmeal. Each recent purchase ended up in the trash (yes it is that BAD). The taste, texture, consistency, quality is AWFUL!!!! I cannot even attempt to describe how delicious it used to be. Very similar to oatmeal cookies once spruced up. In 2017-2018 I noticed that the quality declined tremendously. I almost always notice a change in taste and quality when a company changes its packaging. You can guarantee as a result of cost savings they will skimp on the ingredients used to manufacture the product which usually results in unsatisfied customers. There should have been a name change as well. This is NOT in any way the delicious oatmeal that Quaker is known for. Truly disgusting.
