I thought it was the case that I just purchased and I even checked the date under the can. I threw one can out because I thought it was the ice. Drank another can without ice and still same nasty taste. Went to my mother in laws a week later and drank a Pepsi and same nasty taste. My sister in law said she taste the same thing. What did you so differently and change it back. Cherry Pepsi tastes normal but that regular is just nasty.

My husband and I bought 2 eight pack bottles of diet Mountain Dew from Publix approx 12-Jun-2020. We have not drank mountain dew in about 8-12 months before this purchase. When we opened the soda everything seemed fine, but then we caught the smell - it had such a foul smell coming from the soda we stopped drinking it and threw it out. Now we aren't sure what to do with the remaining bottles other than to toss them. Very disappointing as this is our go to soda when we get in the mood.

I’ve noticed since Mtn Dew Zero came out, Mtn Dew is flat and has a chemical taste to it. I only drink 12oz cans, but a coworker bought a 20oz bottle at work and said it was flat. I am curious if anyone on the west coast is experiencing this as well.

I'm not impressed with the reward program Pepcoin by PepsiCo. You can't enter only drink codes or only snack codes. You must enter a drink and a snack code. It is timed, so don't enter one code until you have the other. It doesn't accept larger (family size) bags of chips, it says invalid entry. It shouldn't matter what size you buy. Not worth wasting your time. I'm done.

I purchased a case of Pepsi Max (Pepsi Zero Sugar, new name) and first noticed the new can appearance, which looked cool. But when I opened one it tasted like a cheap store brand or Diet Coke. Not good!!! Go back to the original flavor!!

I have bought a bad 12 pack of the 12 oz cans of Throwback. Pepsi already took my call, and even sent a coupon. Now a second from the Same grocery store, is spoiled. It smells a little of fermented and tastes of malt liquor. It just smells like it's spoiled. And the taste is pungent. Not so good at all. Anyone having this issue, recently? The second pack was bought on November 17. The first was on the 4th of November.

The last couple of months I don't know what happened to the formula but it taste like a cheap store brand instead of a brand trying to compete with Coke. Until they go back I am done with Pepsi. I am going to miss that old Pepsi taste. Very disappointed consumer.

I have drank Pepsi for many years. I see warnings out that there is chemicals in it that can cause cancer. I love my Pepsi but have noticed that recently taste different and though I just drink one a day usually I am thinking it is better if I don't drink it anymore. I drink the Regular and Cherry favor and noticed a different taste.

This year I've noticed a strange chemical taste to Diet Pepsi, in bottles and cans. It's ruining the experience of drinking my favorite cola. It's a taste that hits you right at the start of drinking it, please make this go away- I would even prefer the non-aspartame variety over this!

I drink a lot of Pepsi every day, more so since you started making it with real sugar instead of artificial crap and corn syrup, I drink several daily (yes I realize I’m addicted but that’s another story). Every once in a while I’ll get a can or a 12 pack that seems like it went bad, all I can taste is carbonated water, tastes like club soda or something. The expiration date gives no clues, I thought maybe heat exposure during storage altered the chemistry or something, but it was so rare I figured it was a fluke, until lately, I’ve had 12 pack after 12 pack this way, I open a can, pour it over my just right sized ice cubes and take that first sip only to spit it back out when it tastes gross. In the last few weeks I have dumped enough cans to total a case or two.

I’ll go to a different store and get a different 12 pack and have the same problem. This is really messing with my fix! I don’t know what causes it but whatever it is, it’s also afflicting the throwback my dew. Usually when it tastes weird I will drink something else to be sure it’s not just me. The last few times it’s happened I’ve substituted a real sugar Mt Dew and I have the same issue. It’s not me, my husband can taste it too, is there some weird thing happening to the sugar? Did you change your suppliers and get some bad ingredients?? Please tell me how to know if a 12 pack is going to be this way before I buy it, I need my fix and everything I buy locally, from different stores with different expiration dates lately is gross!!

My husband and I have been drinking diet caffeine free Pepsi for years. The 12 pack we just opened has a chemical taste to it. We bought at Meijer in Richmond, Indiana. Afraid to drink anymore. Saving the rest of the 12 pack in case the company needs numbers off the box or cans.

I was about to start collecting codes for this, but in order to do that, I need to sign up. Problem is that this birthdate is in scroll form. Months, Jan. thru Dec., fine. Dates, 1-31, fine. Years, 1860 thru 1960, not fine! Folks, I was born in 1986. And Pepsi doesn't recognize the younger generations? It was built on the younger people who hate Coca-Cola and decided to drink and think young, okay? Try to set an e-mail to complain about that, and my computer want to use my GMail account on the e-mail app? To that, I say no deal! Do not use PepCoin! It's just another excuse to get people to get a PayPal account. I am giving this a failing grade. An F-! Nobody who was born in 1860 is still alive today. I'll still drink Pepsi, but I will not participate in PepCoin. Unless they fix the scroll issue.

What is going on with Diet Dew? I've been a fan for ages but am considering not buying anymore. Lately, most of the what I've purchased is not fizzy enough if you don't drink it immediately, it goes flat- I end up throwing it out. One of the reasons I have loved Diet Dew is that I could leave the open can for hours and it would still be fizzy. At first I thought I must have gotten a bad batch, but this has continued for the last several months.

I drink Pepsi every day, really addicted to the drink. Yesterday I poured 2 new 2 liter Pepsi's down the drain. To be honest it tasted so strange, almost a medicine-chemical taste, I was afraid to drink it. Do not think I will buy any more 2 liters in fear of getting sick. Going to buy a 12 pack of Pepsi in cans and if this tastes the same I'm going to change caffeine brands.

I love Diet Pepsi, I'm glad they bring back **. It's a true better taste since my younger days in the 70s, Thank you so much PepsiCo! :) I like the old Pepsi logo and I always buy Diet Pepsi all the time, it's taste and smell so good I know of, that I recognize for decades! Take care.

I have noticed a change of recipe in the regular Pepsi. I have been a loyal Pepsi customer for many years and have noticed the change in the last couple of weeks. I have had friends taste the drink as well and was told it tasted flat, chemical tasting like aspartame, and some agreed with the Vick’s. I have thrown out several bottles and purchased at different locations. After my last bottle on Monday, I have decided it was no longer my drink of choice. I hope Pepsi changes their mind on this new recipe to bring me back. But until then, hello Dr. Pepper!

We have been a die hard Diet Mountain Dew family since it first came out but the recent change to the taste has made us go to other brands. It is flat with an odd flavor. We all hate it. Why do they change a good thing?

Its 6/29/2019 I buy individual bottles of Pepsi and Diet Pepsi from the same place my dad gets his cigarettes because they have the coldest units in town. The last two days we have picked up diet Pepsi and there is a horrible aftertaste. Reminds me of the exact aftertaste when they removed Aspartame a few years back. I checked both bottles and both contain Aspartame and after doing some online research I don't see any other major recipe changes. My father is in his 60s and very set in his ways. He doesn't like any other soda product besides Diet Pepsi. I really hope this is just a bad batch the place we shop at picked up.

I buy Mountain Dew a lot, drink it every day. The bottles I have gotten the last few weeks have been flat and have a funny taste. This stuff costs too much to taste funny. It’s like it has little to no carbonation.

We have a Pepsi machine in our new air conditioned office. We store the inventory of pop in a cabinet next to the pop machine. I came into work this morning to pop running out of the cabinet and across the floor. There was at least 15 cans of different flavors that were leaking or completely empty. Took my co worker and I over 2 1/2 hours to clean up the sticky mess. It ruined the custom made cabinet! I took pictures and emailed Pepsi. Their response "We can replace the damaged cans"! Seriously???

I love Pepsi. It's my favorite soda but I am looking for a replacement because I have been consistently getting product that is either not sealed correctly and is flat or is so sticky and gross I have to wash it to clean it. I buy my product from 3 different grocery stores in my area and it happens at all 3. This just started over the last few months but it's not being remedied either and that's when I lose faith in a company.

Be aware that the bubbly cans from the strawberry line are exploding like bombs! We've had 2 bust open and both times our mini fridge door has blown open and had shards of metal in the door along with broken plastic shelves. Where the 2 cans busted are 2 holes that are the same size as the cans as they blew downward. This fridge was 2 days old and now has no working shelves as they've all been blown to bits.

All other brands of cans and bottles are fine so it's definitely an issue with quality control on Pepsi's behalf. Mind you, this is the first Pepsi purchase from us in 10 years as we don't drink soda and will never buy from them again. I shudder to think what would have happened had someone been reaching in the fridge (like my toddler) when these blew apart. I honestly thought someone had made a small bomb in the can, that's how much force it had. I have taken photos and sent to Pepsi although I am not expecting to hear from them.

We bought a 12 pack of the Regular Pepsi Minis at a Fry's store in Glendale AZ, the box was kept in a pantry at a cool temperature and the cans were not shaken but when we opened them, the top blew open in an explosive burst. The soda didn't spew out of the can as it usually does when the cans have been exposed to excessive heat or shaken. We still have a few cans left in the box. I love the size but I will not be buying any products that come in cans that particular size.

Pepsi ginger taste like poison and pills with a little ginger aroma. (Couldn't drink too much.) Pepsi max taste like poison and pills. (Couldn't drink too much.) Pepsi Classic is still 5 star for me. Price went up again today. I may not buy it any more. Use to drink 2-4 bottles (500ml) of pepsi classic per day. I don't like it when the bottle is more than 2 Liters and I usually go for maximum 1.25L.

My husband and I drink Mountain Dew in the can and live in Daytona Beach, Fl. We have noticed in the last few weeks, every can we open no matter the date or different locations we buy them at, are flat. I have bought cases where half were ok then the last half was flat. Purchased some out of a machine at Walmart and the same thing. I thought maybe it was just us but I decided to Google it to see if I'm losing my mind and find out I'm not the only one. What is going on with the product? I hope that this is not a permanent change in the recipe because oh my goodness it's nasty.

I have been a Pepsi customer for over 30 years. I recently bought an 8-pack of Pepsi Real Sugar 12 ounce bottles. This is my go to drink; however, when I opened every single bottle there was a pungent odor of alcohol. The flavor was horrendous - like someone mixed lemon lime flavoring with rubbing alcohol and just added the caramel coloring to make it pass for Pepsi. I opened every bottle in the 8 pack and there wasn't a single untainted bottle in the pack. Sorry, Pepsi, this is where I call it quits!

It has been over the last two years or so, but every couple of months, I will buy a 2 liter of either Mountain Dew or Pepsi, and it has an off taste to it. I usually end up with symptoms that resemble a stomach bug within a day of my 1st and only drink of these 2 liters. Whenever I get one of these, they usually have an odd taste, like the recipe is off or slightly dirty tasting. The next day, I will end up having pretty severe stomach problems that last for 2 -3 days! Anyone else having this happen in the last couple of years? Most recent example for me is today!

I poured myself a glass of Diet Pepsi in a glass with ice and I tasted it and it tasted like poison. I poured it out and threw it out. I got the rest of the six pack that was left over and put it in a bag to take back to Publix to tell them and I noticed one of the lids had been tampered with so I’m assuming the one that I drank or took a sip out of have been tampered with with as well. I hope Pepsi will look into this when I take this back to Publix or if they see this to contact me while I still have them.

Mold in the bottle of G2 Lemon Lime - February 17, 2019. It was the second bottle from the 8 pack with an expectation date of 7-9-19. Bought it that week at the local grocery store along with 2 other 8 packs. I drank the first mouthful and didn’t really notice anything funky but I followed that up with another mouthful and could feel the slime or whatever in my mouth as I swallowed it!! As soon as it went down I coughed it up!! Checked the remaining GATORADE in the bottle to find that the bottle itself and the remaining fluid had a slime on it and floaters in the bottle. For the next 3 1/2 days I had a fever, chills, the sweats and uncontrollable diarrhea. From what I’m reading PepsiCo is aware of this people since I see post going back to as far as 09. The more I read this I kept finding more stories about the MOLD that they say it is.

Question for all of you anyone heard back from PepsiCo? Did they tell you what it was after asking you to return the product and did you get a copy of the lab test to see what we actually DRANK?? You know it funny. I looked up PepsiCo mission statement on their website. Nowhere in it is the word SAFE!! Guess they know something we don’t. THEY SURE KNOW THEY HAVE A PROBLEM!! The sad part they will not be held accountable for this. No real legal recourse that’s what I’ve been told and not worth the fight! PepsiCo one question. What are you going to do to make it right and SAFE?? And if anyone from the company would like to drink the rest of the bottle I GOT IT!!

I have been a Pepsi Max drinker for more years than I can remember, buying at least 3x24 cans per month. This year, 2019, I have had to toss out March expiry date cans as they have no taste and resemble black soda water. I have replaced them with August expiry date and all is well. I had been told that aspartame was the culprit as the product did not last long under hot conditions, and we have had record hot days perhaps so. However, the product should be withdrawn from sale when this happens.

I have been drinking Pepsi for approximately 60 plus years and this last couple of cases that I brought tastes piss-poor. Where has the flavor gone. I threw it out. Not the original; don't like any of the others that you have on the market either. Please always have the original available and make sure that it is stated on the packaging that this is the ORIGINAL PEPSI.

Something has been going on lately at Pepsi. Every time I buy a 12, 24, or 36 pack I am not sure what it's going to taste like. Sometimes it's unbearable to drink, sometimes you can tolerate. It's not like it used to be. I have called in to complain and they always take care of me etc., but I would like to know how I can help them get it fixed. How can in today's modern world be such a variation in product. You don't see this with other products. I know what it is supposed to taste like. I even gave friends cans to drink and they all agree. I have enjoyed Pepsi for 30 plus years. I wish they would take some things seriously or I and many others will be quitting. Maybe Pepsi cut out some jobs or is going with cheaper ingredients or something. This stuff lately tastes like Cheap Cola from dollar store and the prices continue to rise. Pepsi probably does not read this nor do they care. Too big for the little guy. Thanks.

I don’t know what’s going on but I have been drinking Mountain Dew daily for many many many years and all of a sudden in the last few days I have bought the 1-liter bottles as usual but they taste very strange... A friend of mine drinks the Diet and has also noticed it, we both have purchased from different places and notice the same thing. He also has drank it for many years, I have randomly asked a few other people if they notice a difference and they all have said the same. What’s going on?? I can’t stand the strange flavor and am sadly going to have to find something else now to drink.

About 6 months ago, I purchased 2 - 24 can packages of Pepsi from Brookdale ShopRite of Bloomfield, Nj online. There was a sale and I try to keep stocked. I drank the 2-liter bottles I had and left the cans for a later date. About 3 months ago, I noticed something leaking and discovered that at least half of the cans were at least partially empty, many completely empty, even though the cans were still sealed and there was no apparent holes in the cans.

In fact, there was still pressure in them, since the familiar sound occurred when I popped the lid, even when the can was empty! I salvaged what I could, and put the remaining cans, (about 25) in a plastic bag and placed it in another spot in my home. After a week, other cans were leaking, and again, the cans were intact, with no apparent leakage point. A true mystery! I emptied the remainder of the cans, and have not bought any since. I shan't buy Pepsi in cans ever again! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I feel betrayed by a product I've been using over 50 years. I go out of my way to try and save money wherever possible since I'm retired on a pension, and I hate to waste money this way.

73 year old always prefer Pepsi. In past with blind tasting I could tell the difference between Coke, Pepsi and Royal Crown. Preferred Pepsi then Royal Crown and last Coke because it was too sweet for me. Preferred beer in my older age but needed to drink less so went back to Pepsi and noticed immediately that it is not the Pepsi of old, taste is way off and not would rather drink plain Coke or just ice water. Would sure love to see something from PepsiCo that they are returning to the original recipe like Coke had to do years ago, and do it soon as hear PepsiCo is have financial troubles.

For the last few years & from no matter where I buy Diet Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid or any other place, I'm encountering more and more bottle caps that are unable to be removed. I just struggled with a 1.25 L bottle, even using pliers, & while trying, my hand slipped & slammed onto the counter. Now my hand is throbbing with pain & starting to bruise. I have been a faithful Pepsi consumer for at least 25 years, but now I will to find a substitute. With all your profits PepsiCo, why can you not find a way to correct this painstaking & customer time consuming deficiency.

I bought four cases of regular Mountain Dew in 12 ounce cans. I purchased this product at two different locations in Miami Beach one at Publix and another at Walgreens. Every single can in each of the four cases contained flat Mountain Dew. The expiration date on the packaging was mid 2019. Again, every single can contained flat mountain dew and from two different locations and two different stores. I am about ready to never drink Mountain Dew again. I have been drinking it for more than 20 years. Disgusting!

I have been drinking Pepsi for most of my adult life… Daily. The last few weeks I have noticed that there is a taste and smell of oil to it all. I buy 8 to 10 (6 or 8 bottles per) packs at a time. My consumption has really slowed recently due to the fact that every time I open one I have the same experience. I’m hoping you’re checking water that you’re using very carefully, as I can’t think of another reason I would be having this experience. I find it hard to believe no one else is complaining of this. I’m finding myself drinking more coffee, even until the afternoon lately! I am missing my Pepsi… What is going on, or do you know?

Been drinking Pepsi for 30+ years, a few months ago I first noticed a can of Pepsi would go flat after just 20 mins of being open. Didn't think anything of it at first but every can or bottle I crack open lasts for maybe 15 mins until it's flat and disgusting. You either have to chug the entire contents immediately or it's wasted. Please for the love of God Mr or Mrs Pepsi fix this tragedy immediately or I promise you every Pepsi drinker in the world will switch to the dark side (Coke).

I first noticed the big change in the Taste of The Boss Pepsi Bottles around 1999, I sent 5 back to the company. They sent me 5 coupons for 5 more free. I got them and they were bad too. So I quit buying those. But I have been drinking Pepsi for at least 50 yrs. And they have just RUINED the good Pepsi taste in ALL OF THE PEPSI BOTTLES. That's the only soda that I like. I loved Pepsi. But now I just can't stand it. It's terrible! Flat, no flavor, no fizz, NOTHING. It's like drinking nasty colored water! I'm gonna start drinking Coke or Orange. I have to give up that Pepsi name. Because now it's just a name... Not a real Pepsi. This has been changing for a while, little by little. I can't find a real bottle of Pepsi anywhere! I hate it. I hope they will bring the Good Old Pepsi Cola back.

WE ARE LOYAL PEPSI DRINKERS, BRING OUR SODA BACK! Why did they ruin it? I just don't get it. I hope it's not just a cheaper way for them to sell it. Everything's about money to companies. Well, to us Pepsi drinkers it's not about money. It's about TASTE. I have a Pepsi in front of me now, I keep hoping one of them will be a good one but they're not. None are any good. I'm giving up on them now. I have been wasting my money just hoping the next 6 pack would be the real thing. Nope, it isn't! But Pepsi companies don't read these consumer reports? So what good is it doing us to write?

At least I see that others feel the same way I do. I'm glad I found these reviews. Thanks you all. I had to google about Pepsi to find this. I couldn't bear the taste another minute. Well, soon the Pepsi co. Will be out of business, I'm sure. Because we are giving up buying fake Pepsi. Bring the real soda back. Or just close down the Pepsi companies! They're not worth a dime now.

Many years ago Pepsi used to go flat in an hour. Then they fixed it and it would keep its fizz for hours. Now it is going back to being flat after an hour. I thought maybe they were just old stock, but looking at reviews I see it is happening all over.

I have been a loyal Pepsi drinker for years however for the last year it has changed, not for the better. I typically buy a 2 liter soda daily and my go to was always Pepsi. At first I thought maybe I was just getting unlucky buying a flat soda but it just kept happening. Sometimes the first drink would be okay then immediately goes flat. I got tired of wasting my money and have now switched to different products. I don't know why they messed with such a good product.

I have been drinking Pepsi ever since I can remember, it is the only soda I will drink. That is, until now. The first change I noticed was about 2 years ago, I was in my car and two cans, no joke, blew up like a bomb! The tops blew off both cans and they went from the back seat to the front like a launched rocket! This was not for leaving them in my car on a hot day either. When I picked up the cans I noticed immediately the cans were much thinner. So if anyone is out on a warm day with canned Pepsi I suggest you wear a helmet.

The second issue and this is a big one, is that I bought a 12 pack of Pepsi from the Dollar Store about 2 weeks ago. I brought it home, not one but every can was flat. I figured, Dollar Store + cheap soda-wont buy from there again. Just this week I went to Costco and because I have bought Pepsi there before I felt it would be a safe purchase. Nope. I bring it home and boom. It's not flat (yet), but it tastes watered down and within 5 minutes it's flat. Pop open another can. Another can is watery and flat. Please tell me Pepsi, that this is not how our relationship is going to end because that will completely suck. If you were a person I would say bipolar??

In the last few months I have returned 4-12 packs for being flat. Also have had three cans that the top of the can had separated from the bottom. I have come to expect 4 out of 5 cans to taste carbonated on the initial drink and then quickly go flat from there. The other can of the 5 is flat from the start. Having drank Pepsi for 45 years I am now looking to replace my go to drink.

I have been drinking Pepsi Max for years, however the cans I have bought recently just do not taste the same. Please, please Pepsi people will you revert back to the original recipe otherwise people will stop buying. I am almost 70 years old so I guess you have had a loyal customer for a long, long time so I know what I am talking about.

I'm 64 and have been drinking Pepsi since my teens. I am so extremely disappointed in the change you have made! I thought there was something wrong with my bottle of soda. It leaves a horrible taste in my mouth and maybe what finally gets me to stop drinking soda. So disappointed that I just purchased a 4 pack of 64 oz bottles!

Whatever PepsiCo did to Diet Pepsi it is horrible and flat. No other soda is this way. Even generic. I used to drink it exclusively from a kid but never again. I guess they do not care about their consumers because no one is going to want this.

Pepsi Max used to be my favourite low calorie soda, I enjoyed it as much as full sugar versions, I used to recommend it to everyone as much better than Coca Cola's equivalent, Coke Zero. I used to go out of my way to get Pepsi Max, if it wasn't available where I was shopping in the large 24 or 30 can packs I buy, I would shop somewhere else. However the last two 24 can batches I've bought have been horrendous! I bought one batch and tried 2 cans from it and was shocked, I assumed it was a dodgy batch. So I stupidly bought another 24 can pack from a different retailer. What an idiot I was, I should have got a single can, or small pack, because they were exactly the same.

VERY sickly, a nasty aftertaste, and a weird chemically lemon note to it, which makes it taste 'thinner', almost metallic, not as smooth. *MUCH, MUCH* worse than diet coke, which used to be my hated last choice of diet colas. Nobody that I've asked if they would like them wants them, they tried a can and said no thanks. I literally cannot give it away. It's not too much to say I'm devastated. I have a weird reaction to the chlorine (I presume) in tap water, but for some reason I can drink soda and fruit juice without my throat burning and lungs seizing up. So a nice low calorie Cola (my favourite flavour) was a Godsend. Coke Zero will now have to be my go to Cola.

I've been buying and drinking Diet Mountain Dew for over 20 years. The last 2 cases have a nasty metallic taste. I buy between 16-20 cases of Diet Mountain Dew every month for me and my family. I'm not sure exactly what has changed or if PepsiCo went to a new formula but the taste is horrible. I've read other complaints and reviews as to this same issue. I've been a loyal supporter of PepsiCo buying and drinking Diet Mountain Dew for over 20 years. If this is the new taste of Diet Mountain Dew then I will have to stop drinking and buying from PepsiCo. I really don't want to find a new drink but I need to drink more water and if Diet Mountain Dew stays with this new horrible formula then I have to make a change because I can't stand the metallic taste any longer. Coca-Cola here I come as your new client!

56 years old-Diet Pepsi has been “my go to” for probably 40 plus years. Bought 2 cases, 5 minutes after opening each can, was FLAT as can be. Ok, thought I got bad batch. Purchased a 12 pack, at different store with different expiration date. Same experience! So, what went wrong? Aspartame? Wow, gotta say, so sad! Well, guess it is time to switch to water anyway. My doctor will thank you. I am sure Doctors all over the world will be thrilled if your product stays the same or your competitors will!

Pepsi has LIED with their Advertising stating "Same Great Taste!!!" Pepsi: The 'Same Great Taste' of Pepsi sucks big time. I have been drinking Pepsi since I was 5 years old. I am 64 now. I don't know why you LIED about changing the taste, but you did... I would spend well over $300 a month just on me getting Pepsi... However, My family (14 members) estimates they USED to spend over $1800.00 a month on Pepsi Products (their estimation, not mine), but are now buying from your rival. If it was your goal to drive away business, 'Congratulations', you did it!

I recently bought Pepsi. The can says, "Made with real sugar." I've been drinking Pepsi since I was a teenager (my husband works for Coke). I have opened 3 so far. They all have a weird chemical smell and DO NOT taste a thing like my beloved Pepsi. It is truly horrible! What in the world has changed?? I can't stand it! It tastes like some kind of poison, with a weird aftertaste. I hope someone sees all these horrible reviews and takes action.

I would just like to say my experience with a 20 oz bottle of Mountain Dew was ridiculous. I purchased and went to my car. I tried many times to open it and it was sooo tight the process blistered my hand and broke the skin. So I traveled down the road a ways and stopped at a RaceTrac gas to get someone to try and open it or change it out. Fortunately the gentleman there was able to open it but not without difficulty himself. What a great inconvenience.

Diet Pepsi has returned to aspartame and it tastes terrible. This soda formula sweetness quickly degrades, especially if it is stored warm for relatively short periods (a few weeks). Once it degrades the taste is flat and leaves a bad aftertaste. Pepsi needs to return to the sucralose formula and stick with it. I would buy 6-12 bottles/week when the Diet Cherry-Cola Pepsi went on sale for $1/bottle. Pretty sure no one at Pepsico even looks at these reviews, so it'll be enough to make my statement and cease to buy Pepsi products going forward. With the slow death of Coke, thank goodness for Diet Rite Cola!!!!

They need to change it back. I'm done buying Pepsi. Going to call the company tomorrow and see if I can't get some of money back. Threw a lot of it down the drain.

I have had 3 cases of Pepsi since last Christmas. They were all the new "old" cans that are red/white/blue. This Pepsi tastes flat compared to the old blue cans. I will no longer be drinking Pepsi. Sure am glad it is summer when iced tea is plentiful. I have no idea why you would change the recipe, but I have noticed the local fast food places have canceled Pepsi and replaced it with Coke. Must have raised prices, too. Soda that tastes flat is NEVER okay. The instant it hits the ice cubes it is flat. I wonder who I can sell the last 1/2 of a case to? I will not be drinking it. I had thought I had just gotten some old stock, but no, all of it is terrible. After 60 years with Pepsi, I am no longer in Love.

I've been a Pepsi drinker since junior high -- way back in the early 80's. It's always been my favorite beverage, the sweet, smooth drink that made me feel better after a bad day. But these days the "Retro" Pepsi just ruins my days. I like the retro design of the cans, but the taste is horrid. Bitter, flat, and just plain gross. I won't be buying anymore until PepsiCo goes back to the old formula.

I have also been a long time fan of Pepsi products. I used to always have a Diet Pepsi in hand. My nieces even started calling me Bink (due to JarJar Binks on your Pepsi commercial lol. Yep that long ago). Well, the nickname stuck but... sadly I stopped drinking Diet Pepsi when you started messing with recipes. My niece called me up & was excited to tell me that the original diet Pepsi was back out on shelves. I immediately bought a couple cases. Oh man, my soul was crushed! It wasn't the same. I almost cried. I reluctantly went back to Diet Coke. What happened Pepsi? Hardest breakup I've went thru!

Bold-faced lie that it’s the same great taste. I’ve been drinking Pepsi for the last 30 years and have stopped drinking it due to the change. I hope that Pepsi changes back to the old recipe but until that happens I will no longer drink nor purchase Pepsi products. I currently find myself going to older stores with not so much volume to find the old cans or bottles to purchase, but how long will that last.

Since you switched to the new old style design cans from the blue cans, I will say this. The taste of the new Pepsi is gross and is nowhere the same taste. I am a long time Pepsi drinker (since I was 13) and you have destroy the true Pepsi taste that everyone loves. I don't know what you are using now, but you are losing customers because it is not the same and it's sick to drink them. You better listen to your customers or you going to be out of business because I noticed that a lot of the food joints are switching back to Coca-Cola and I wonder why.

But since you released the retro logo I have been buying Pepsi cans in bulk. I will continue to drink Pepsi as long as you keep the retro cans. This is the can everybody identifies with when they think of Pepsi, it does not matter their age, for some reason that design has stood the test of time.

Pepsi changed its sweetener and it did not taste good. Last year they brought back the classic diet Pepsi. It was so good that was once again all I would buy and drink. Then the classic disappeared again. I was livid. So yesterday I found out that Pepsi was making the aspartame diet Pepsi its main diet again. I run to the store and buy 3 1/2 packs. I was so excited to get my favorite drink back. I got home and put one in the freezer. Got it out took a big drink and yuck the aspartame is in there but the formula has to be different. It even smelled different.

I am over it. I'm tired of Pepsi changing the product. They should put all their products back the way they were. They are going to lose even more customers than they already have and I have heard they changed the regular Pepsi and people r not happen ever is in charge sucks. They are handing Coke customers. I'm sure Coke thanks Pepsi if they don't put everything back the way it was. I will only buy Coke products and I will not buy anything associated with PepsiCo.

I am an addict. I drink anywhere from 8-10 cans of Pepsi a day for 20+ years. I drink regular Pepsi from the time I wake up until about 7pm then I switch to decaffeinated until I go to bed. My teen years I was strictly a Coke drinker. The “new look” can of Pepsi tastes horrible. It tastes flat. It tastes nothing like the Pepsi in the blue can. I have been waking up every single morning with a migraine from hell. The deactivated Pepsi still tastes great but I need my caffeine. You need to switch back. I’m getting ready to switch back to Coke. Pepsi is now disgusting!!!

Been drinking Pepsi for over 50 years. I am 70 and over 4 cans a day so that is a lot of the good old PEPSI and as for the new Pepsi in the red white blue cans I can't even drink one. It taste like cramp so if you are going to say same great flavor make it be the same great flavor, The red white blue shows love to the USA. Like that part but the taste is so bad I'll start drinking something else, until PEPSI starts listening to the public and give us the great old taste back. Some changes are not good. So go back to the old recipe.

I've been drinking Pepsi for quite some time and as soon as this new design came out, I've been telling everyone that it doesn't taste even remotely the same! I am very disappointed to be writing this review because Pepsi is legitimately the ONLY soda I drink. I hate anything else. Coca-Cola does the job every once in awhile when I'm at a restaurant or something of the like. But it's nothing compared to Pepsi. I actually purchased Coke from the store this week instead of my usual Pepsi. Never in my years did I think I would make such a change. It's embarrassing to walk up to the counter buying a pack of this "new Pepsi". The can looks terrible and the taste is even more so. Everything each one of these reviewers have said is all true. The taste is flat, bitter, and leaves a terrible aftertaste. I'm writing this to officially say I am joining the others in refusing to purchase Pepsi until we get the old stuff back!

The new white labelled Pepsi is either coming from the factory flat with or they're doing something different. I hope they'll listen to all the complaints and fix it, but I'm quite sure they'll never listen to us. Anytime a company changes their product its main objective is to SAVE MONEY. They accomplish this by making a change to its formula or by giving us less product. With the new tax plan and the savings these companies are getting, should mean they can give the customer a little break in one way or another. But I'm quite certain they won't and that savings will go to the CEO, and his/her butt kissers???

I’m not a big soda drinker but I do love some soda in occasion. And recently I had the Pepsi in the new retro can and it tastes like medicine. When you pour it into ice it goes completely flat. And I thought my taste buds were crazy but when I looked in the old ingredients and new ingredients (in retro can) I notice something different. They took out high fructose corn syrup. I think that’s why it tastes different. I think they took it out because high fructose corn syrup is bad for health but jeez we’re going to die one way or another.

PepsiCo insists they haven't changed the recipe of the traditional Pepsi, while at the same time introducing a new retro can. It's now very flat and tastes murky, like stale iced tea. I poured a can of each (old blue can, new white can) into identical drinking glasses and there's an obvious visual difference. I just scooped up the last of the blue cans off the shelves of my local retailers. This will be the last Pepsi that I will ever buy unless a change is made back to the old recipe. Been drinking this stuff for 40 years. I can't help but notice the cans say "Same great taste" rather than "Same product" or the like. It allows for some level of deniability should they fess up at some later date after people stop buying. Pepsi entirely and move onto something else. What they have done is tantamount to corporate suicide.

I got a sweet deal at my local Harris Teeter for some five twelve packs for ten dollars and so I got the new retro design Pepsi because I thought the new logo looked cool, in my opinion. Got home, threw one in the freezer to get it cold while the rest chilled in the refrigerator. I cracked it open as soon as it got cold enough and I was given the most awful taste I have even tasted with Pepsi. I've been drinking Pepsi since I was a kid and I'm twenty-two now and I'm calling ** on that, "Same great taste" on the front of your new logo. I would be along side the rest of these people telling you the different taste of it and everything but it literally took you guys giving me one can of this new crap Pepsi then when I took one sip I spit it out and about gagged on the smell of it after recovering from how awful it tasted.

The experience was so bad I've completely forgotten how it tastes and as I'm typing this I was considering taking another and trying just to give you an idea of how it taste for me but it makes my stomach roll at the thought of trying that, "Same great taste" you're preaching on the new design. I really hope you do a recall and address the problem with this awful Pepsi you've slinged like some corner dealer with high priced biker **. Like what the hell people. The thought of drinking another one of those cans is like me subjecting myself to drinking gray, hazy, mop water.

Pepsi Blue bottle to Pepsi white bottle (the same great taste) It's Not The Same! (Sorry guys and girls.) What did you change? I have been drinking Pepsi since 2002-3, I know it cannot be me, I am 66 years old and that's all I have drank is Pepsi. Always thought it was the best flavored soda especially when you changed to the solid blue bottles. I don't drink anything else but Pepsi, Why did you have to change the way it's being made? Something's wrong and by now you must know it with all the complaints. I find it to be too weak plain flavor, whereas before it had a zing to it. Good flavor, and the zing is gone. And the flavor got weak, after making my purchase at CVS recently on 5 bottles this is what I found.

Sorry to say but your other leading brand out there tastes better now. I am disappointed and for 20 years also of your product it looks like I am going to have to make the change. I hope you make a change back fast for I also liked the size of your large bottles too. When I see the large blue bottles on the shelf I will buy them 'cause I know it's the old stock that tastes genuine. I hope you get the message. Please change back the flavor.

After it's open it starts to taste soapy. This is ridiculous. I've drank Pepsi every day for 30 years. They've done something to the recipe while claiming not to have changed anything. Not everybody wants that nasty artificial sugar and it's makes no sense why they would treat their customers like we are stupid and just won't be able to tell. I have sent 30 yrs worth of Pepsi to be tested and can't wait to see what the results will tell me as I am positive they will confirm my suspicions.

Back the end of November I bought 18 12pks of Pepsi while they were on sale. (You couldn't give them to me now) much less buy anymore. My complaint is that they had a horrible chemical taste and the cans smell like a combination of chemicals and gasoline when emptied. Not to mention what the inside of the can looks like, it's absolutely disgusting. After I looked at this site I called and spoke to someone at Pepsi and they said no other complaints had been made, sent me a kit to send them some samples and coupons for 3 free 12 pks. That's a waste because I have not drank one since and don't plan on buying or drinking anymore.

I was getting really nauseated in the evenings after drinking Pepsi during the day. Then I figured out why. No Pepsi no nausea. I have contacted an attorney and my local news organization. I am a consumer and not a statistic. It may not matter to them financially if I quit spending money on their product, but it will matter when everyone stops buying. You can call the company and give them the number on the box and they can tell you exactly when, where and the time they were made and canned. I had 8 12pks out of 18 that came from the same plant and that's the ones that were bad.

So, when shopping Wal-Mart last week, I noticed that the only Pepsi I could find were in this new throwback design and I thought that was weird... But since it was all there was I bought it. I got home and tried it and I was disgusted by the taste. If I what you did, but undo it.

I have recently purchased 4 eight count bottles of Pepsi. The packaging has changed so I doubled checked to make sure I was getting the right one. My complaint is it doesn't taste the same. I get a flat taste. You're losing a loyal Pepsi drinker.

Been a Pepsi drinker for 30 plus years on a daily basis. Never had a problem before but most of the two liters I buy taste like plastic. My opinion is that they are outdated and the distributor isn’t rotating the Pepsi's when they bring it in the store.

I am not one to rant but I will say this short and simple.. change back to the original taste of Pepsi or I will change to Coke!! You guys have messed with the taste. It’s flat and has absolutely no taste... remember when Coke “changed their formula”? That did not go over well either.. Pepsi has always been my favorite soda but no more. I will not buy any more Pepsi until the original taste is restored... NASTY.

I've been drinking Pepsi for years. It no longer has burst of carbonation when you open it nor when you drink it. Now it has a flat chemical like taste that lingers in the mouth. I also agree with the other consumers' complaints. My one and only favorite soda for carbonation and taste I no longer can find. PepsiCo what have you done? I also noticed you have added new flavors and changed logos. Why do this when you are not listening to us dedicated consumers. No one cares about a new look or flavors when the original Pepsi taste is disgusting. Your priority should be focused on getting the named sodas mentioned in the complaints reformulated back to their original taste. Why change what was already good?

My recent purchases of Diet Pepsi have been very disappointing. The taste has changed and it's not the aspartame. It is now some funky taste. I have bought several 12 packs and several 36 packs from a local BJ's and now I have this funny taste every time I open a can. What happened to the regular taste that had before? Why does it taste so funny now? You guys need to fix it.

I'm a 73 year old woman who has drank Pepsi my whole life. I don't drink coffee or any other soda. Lately I have been unable to start my day with my Pepsi. Every cube, 12 pack and bottles have an unusual taste and have been flat. Have you changed the formula or what is going on. Maybe my little 12 pack a day may not hurt your overall sales but I bet I'm not the only person with this problem.

I thought at first it was my imagination and then I went online and discovered others have had similar experiences. I just checked the use by date --- July 2017 and August 2017... Wow, I just bought these and have never checked the use by date ever in my over 20 years of drinking Pepsi. So... is the problem that I bought 'old' Pepsi? I didn't know it could go bad... Never had this experience before, ever. I'm going to try to return the ones that I haven't opened. What a hassle and has left a 'bad taste' in my mouth-- in many ways. I'd love to know what goes 'bad' and if I buy the product within the use by date I won't have the issue.

I am truck driver, addicted to Mtn. Dew. Not a good thing to begin with, but as such, I buy 12 pks of Mtn. Dew in Mo, Il, Ks, Co, Oh, and In. Over the course of this year, it has begun to taste awful! Not sure what y'all changed but it is nasty. This last 12 pk tastes super carbonated with soft water when you first open it, then completely flat by the end. Tastes like it is watered down with 7 Up with none of the bite, with an indescribable aftertaste! Please change it back. I don't want to have to look for a new soda? But I will.

I was a Coke drinker for years. Never drank Pepsi until I married my husband 15 years ago. It was a big change... Now I'm going back to COKE. There is something wrong with the taste. You might get a decent tasting Pepsi every once in a while. Now today I buy a cube that is horrible tasting. Would like to take it back but live 30 miles from town. What is the problem that it never tastes the same twice and no Fizz. Going back to Coke. More people than I have the same complainant. Fix the problem or keep losing Pepsi drinkers... but maybe you just don't care. You should care... without all of us Pepsi drinkers you won't need to produce it anymore.

I live in England and have also been a Pepsi drinker for many years. 3 weeks ago I bought my usual ten 500ml bottles from my usual shop. When I opened one I noticed it didn't seem as fizzy, and then I drank some!! I thought it had been 'tampered' with. Then I opened another, and another, but they were all the same. I took them back to the shop and found an assistant. He said, "I know, they're flat, I've had other complaints it must be a bad batch. Just go and get some more. Anyway, they were all the same. They also had the same 'use by' date so I wondered if that was it." I bought a bottle from another shop with a different date on. Needless to say, that too was the same. I seriously thought it was me, although as a friend said, "If you don't know the taste, no one does."

I too, look forward to my morning drink and feel lost without it - and through the day. I thought I'd look online and I'm glad I did - at least I know I'm not alone! But that's not the answer is it, What can we do about it? Incidentally, we don't have Morning Dew over here, what does it - or should I say, DID it taste like? Anyway, can People Power do anything to solve this problem?

Mountain Dew - When the cans were dark green, with the mountains on it, the soda was amazing and was by far absolutely the best. When you guys switched to this light green can, it tastes like garbage. I thought I was delusional until my work over the summer gave me another can of the dark green after a couple months with this light green can, and there is definitely a difference. Whatever you guys did, change it back. Lots of people have complained about this issue and you are losing customers fast.

Last week, the week of September 17, 2017, I started searching for answers about why a strange taste has replaced the old tastes of Mountain Dew. I do not enjoy this taste at all. To me, Mountain Dew has begun to taste watery and muted. Dew used to always have a strong, well defined, entirely pleasant, bite to each sip. Now, I can tell something has changed for the worse. Over the years, I felt I could sense minute changes in the taste. In the past, the changes were noticeable but not so significant that they changed my opinion about Mountain Dew.

This last change or changes are a different story. I can no longer drink Mountain Dew with any degree of satisfaction. I realize that companies have to change the ingredients of their products as regulation changes and consumer demand for increased health and safety transparency grows stronger. While I know I should want this to happen, I also want to be given a choice in the matter other than simply not buying a product I enjoy. For instance, as I was writing this consumer complaint of sorts, I found myself feeling drained and thinking a Dew would be great right about now. Sadly, I find myself surrounded by Mountain Dew cans and bottles of different sizes but not a single "Dew" worth drinking.

I have been a Pepsi and Mt. Dew drinker for as long as I can remember. For the last 3 maybe 4 months their tastes have changed. The Pepsi doesn't hold a fizz and the taste is just plain flat. With the Mt. Dew the taste is generic and awful. Experimenting with classics is not a good thing, please change them back or I'll have to try a Coke...

For the last 6 months every 6 pack of Pepsi that I purchase is flat. One bottle may have a little fizz but it won't be there long. I do not know if they decreased the carbonation, changed the packaging or drop each 6 pack before placing it on the shelf. When you drink Pepsi every day this is a problem. Trying to get used to Coke. :(

I will no longer buy it, not in protest or anything like that, but because I just don't like it. Why in the world they change successful products. I'm not a Pepsi drinker but it's apparently being done to the Pepsi drinkers too. I don't get it but I doubt the company gives a damn what we think.

Really Pepsi Cola? Pepsi in the last year has tasted nasty, also, it has no fizz. You sit it down, and go back to it, 10 minutes later and it's flatter than it was when I first took a drink. Your soda will not be in my buggy at my local grocery store anymore.

I have drank Pepsi for over 20 years. I love Pepsi!!! I look forward to my Pepsi first thing in the morning and lately it's tasted flat. The last 3 cases of Pepsi I bought were flat & I ended up throwing them away. I decided to buy 12 pks in hopes that one of them would be carbonated and also taste good. Out of the last 6 12 pks I've purchased all were flat & didn't taste good! I always check the exp. date too. Something's wrong!!! Can you please look into this & fix this problem or change whatever it is you're doing! This is very frustrating! I can't imagine changing brands of pop, but as of now I won't be drinking Pepsi!!! Thank you!

Mountain Dew no longer tastes like the premium soda it once was. It now resembles the taste of the knock-off store brands. What is going on here? Why should I pay a higher amount for a sub-standard product? This complaint is based on the last 3 bottles I have sampled, purchased from two separate locations. It seems to me recent taste changes are intentional. Well since I will only be using it as a mix for my whiskey, from now on, the knock-off brands will suffice.

I am pretty much a Mountain Dew addict and have been for years. I am not a conspiracy theorist saying that the new can style means a change in flavor. What I am saying is I no longer enjoy the taste of Mountain Dew since the can style has changed and it makes me believe the formula has changed as well. To back that statement up, I recently went to a dated, hardly used Pepsi machine in my city and was surprised when the old style Mountain Dew can came out. I didn't think too much of it until I opened it up and drank the first gulp and it was like I hadn't had the real thing in months! The old style can had a totally different flavor than what I had been drinking in the newer styled can. I don't know what you did, but I don't like it.

I find myself still buying Mountain Dew in hopes of liking it still but the truth is I don't anymore and more and more I'm choosing drinks like Coke or Dr. Pepper instead of Mountain Dew. I think the new can look is fine and it’s cool to have a new brand image and whatever, but the drink is different and we can all tell and we are all dissatisfied. Now if you were doing something healthy to the drink that might be understandable but we've heard no mention of this and BVO is still in the ingredient list so what are you doing different?

All Mountain Dews Taste Like Cheap 50 Cent Colas. I have been drinking Mountain Dew for decades, since the 1980s. There is no doubt in my mind that as of 2017, the formula for this product and its spin-offs has drastically changed, and for the worse. Not only don't they even come close to tasting like Mountain Dew, they taste no differently from cheap knockoff sodas like Tropical Fantasy. They're nothing but corn-syrup-flavored carbonated water with a little bit of food coloring and some light artificial flavor thrown in for good measure. Another thing - the original line of Mountain Dew (not the crappy offshoots like Voltage and Blast, which are just as bad, but the first one) has a strong aftertaste of detergent. When I first encountered this issue I thought I had come across a bad batch, but I tried three more bottle and it was the same result.

It boggles the mind that a company thinks that they could change a formula as distinctive as this one and not have anyone take notice or care. Or maybe they've decided to ditch the older market that grew up on its soda and cater to a younger, stupider demographic that'll buy anything as long as it has colorful packaging and cheesy-sounded names ("Baja Blast," "Voltage", "Dew Fuel"). Well, PepsiCo may have hooked millennials on the swill it calls Mountain Dew but it's not fooling me and others in my age group. I'm switching over to knock off brands and urging everyone else to do the same thing. Let the millennials have its cheap-tasting fluorescent-colored soda.

When Pepsi came out with Pepsi-Cola made with real sugar, I tried it when it first came out. I had gotten away from all drinks with corn syrup. I really enjoyed the taste of the Pepsi with real sugar, as did my family and friends. Now, for the last three months, everyone I know, including my family and I noticed a awful taste. To me, the taste is a mixture of Seven-Up with something else, but no one likes it. It is absolutely awful tasting!! This is the third time in a month and this bad taste continues. It does not matter which store I buy from, the awful taste is the same. This taste reminds me of when Coke changed their flavor. I have noticed the same end taste, just like Coke had. I am going back to my unsweetened Kool-Aid and will put my Splenda in it. Better for me anyway.

All bottles look same (size diff) finally noticed 16 oz., 200 calories, 16.9 oz., 210 calories and 20 oz., 250 calories. That's only difference but why does smaller one taste so horrible? Bottles look exactly same! I can't find answers anywhere. I get the calorie difference due to size of bottle but what's up with horrible taste?

If anyone is a lover of Pepsi Twist/Diet Pepsi Twist you can order Pepsi Twist from Amazon. Unfortunately it is expensive. If you are a Pepsi Twist lover, please email Pepsi and/or call their Consumer Relations number. I was a Tab drinker for over 20 years then switched to Diet Pepsi Twist. After a short period of time Pepsi Twist/Diet Pepsi Twist production came to a halt! I was told by the manager of the local Pepsi Plant that the company lost money on Pepsi Twist because they had to dispose of a large quantity of Pepsi Twist that was out date. The manager said that the only size that was really popular were the 12oz can/12 packs but they continued to manufacture all of the sizes that Pepsi offered. As you can probably guess, the plant continued to have outdated product that needed to be thrown away.

It seems to me that only producing 12oz can/12 packs would solve the problem of product waste. That is what Coca-Cola did when they tried to stop producing Tab. The fact that there are consumers that love the flavor of Pepsi Twist so much that they are willing to pay over $3.50 per can makes me believe that the Pepsi company can manufacture Pepsi Twist without losing money. Their most recent addition to their flavors is Lime which I believe was available around the time that Pepsi Twist was produced. So far that new flavor is not available where I live just like so many of the flavors that Pepsi produces. The picture is the can that comes from Italy. That is where the Pepsi Twist that Amazon sells comes from! I give Pepsi Twist from Italy 5 stars. I only give the Pepsi Co 1 star for not producing the drink here!

I was a loyal Diet Pepsi drinker for 40 years. Then out of left field Pepsi changes to sucralose 100%? No consumer input, taste testing or involvement. I tried it. It was horrible, having a long lasting aftertaste, no fizz. It broke my Diet Pepsi habit. I called Pepsi and was informed Pepsi knows best? They must have cut a sweet lucrative deal with sucralose to drop aspartame so quick.

When you removed aspartame because some people insisted on believing it is "bad" no matter what the scientific facts are, and replaced it with sucrose, I was not happy and told you so. I do NOT like the taste of sucrose, and now quite often drink Diet Coke because they were not foolish enough to bend to those who shout loudest. Today I read that a study published in the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health has conclusively shown that sucrose can cause cancer. The Center for Science in the Public Interest has officially recommended that consumers avoid sucrose. Now, will you take the horrid tasting and dangerous stuff out of my Diet Pepsi and put the aspartame back? I really don't want to drink Diet Coke, but I also don't want leukemia from my daily soda habit, so it appears you're not leaving me much choice.

When I was a kid, I loved watching their commercials and they got the big names in the industry to advertise their product. So I patronized their soda and all these years, the sweetness hasn't changed which I wished they changed. I drink Pepsi Max and I would say that it's just too sweet for me. The reason why anyone would drink a soft drink is to quench the thirst. Since it's too sweet, your thirst is not being quenched, you'll want for more. It's like you're drinking a choco soft drink.

That's why whenever I look for a soda, I'd look for Coke, if there's none, I'd look for Pepsi but I have to buy a bottled water too. I hope they revisit their formula and see to it that it will taste better and serve its purpose. If the drink is too sweet, any consumer would go for other drinks that are sweet. A soda should quench the thirst, that's why you have carbonic acid in it. You lessen its effect if you add too much sugar. Having good commercials help but it's the taste that really makes consumers choose a great soft drink. On the other hand, I like other Pepsi products that are not caffeine based.

I recently logged onto Pepsi's website to complain about two 24-packs of Diet Pepsi that I purchased that developed pin holes in them. I reported the bar codes and purchase dates of the 24-packs. I had lost approximately 1/3 of the soda cans to leakage. I questioned why the cans are so cheaply made that soda eats right through them. Maybe I should be questioning why the soda is so acidic that it eats right through the cans. They provided no explanation as to why the cans would develop pin holes but quickly mailed coupons for two free 24-packs which I gladly took to the store to use right away.

Unfortunately, the exact same thing is happening now approximately three weeks after my purchase. Every day I find a few more that have developed holes and I have used a lot of paper towels to clean up the mess. I have lost most of the first 24-pack already. The second 24-pack still looks dry and clean but I am afraid to move it since I believe the holes develop quicker once the cans are moved around. I purchase various flavors of diet soda including both Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi and have never had this happen before. Needless to say, I'm tired of cleaning up the mess and taking a loss on Diet Pepsi cans and will be making a complete switch back to Diet Coke.

Over the past month or so almost every 12 pack of Pepsi has had a can of soda that was not sealed properly in production. The can is not as firm as it should be, there are usually beads of dried up soda near the rim of the can, and the soda is completely flat! It has really angered me that I was throwing out a can or two a week, but today was the kicker --- 6 of 12 cans were like this. I can see an occasional mistake, but for this to happen regularly is a real problem. I am sure that others are frustrated at this as well. I have been loyal to Pepsi for a very long time and never buy Coke, but this may make me switch even though I really don't enjoy the flavor of Coke nearly as much.

I absolutely HATE the new diet Pepsi. It doesn't fizzle or snap when you open it and goes flat fast. I have been told they replaced the aspartame with Splenda (which I hate by the way) and to add insult to injury it wasn't even done for health reasons!!! A bunch of aspartame haters told them they didn't like aspartame and so it was changed - no consumer poll no nothing! I have been drinking diet Pepsi my whole adult life and now I have to find another cola. Coke is out of the question because I hate it so if a few people who don't like the new formula call and tell you then you will change it back. I highly doubt it so at the very least instead of bring out a NEW product I would like to suggest that there be a choice of aspartame and Splenda so all Pepsi drinkers can be happy. In the meantime this extremely loyal Pepsi drinker will be looking elsewhere for cola!

I love the taste of Pepsi... It's better than Coca Cola. Plus, it's less expensive than Coca Cola. I'm satisfied with drinking experience with Pepsi.

As in keeping with all the other comments/complaints I've read concerning PepsiCo, I'm adding my two cents' worth and expressing my extreme disappointment in their decision to eliminate the 24 oz size Pepsi. This was the perfect size for me, neither too big nor too small. But, just like many other mega companies, they don't give a ** about the opinions or preferences of the people who keep them in business, the consumer. Well, I'm here to say that once my last 24 oz six-pack is gone, which will be after this complaint, I'm finished giving my hard-earned money to a company that has such little regard for the loyal fans of this product. While I may thoroughly enjoy Pepsi, I'm not addicted. On the plus side, their decision will save my family several hundred dollars a year.

For about 4-6 months now I have found the 12 ounce cans to be leaking. I purchase the 12 pack and the 24 pack cases of Pepsi. I purchase multiple cases as they are on sale. But lately there seems to be at least 1-2 cans every case or so that has a leaker. They leak around where the top is attached to the can. This causes all the other cans and the box to become sticky. I throw the can out because I am not sure if it has become contaminated, and it has lost the carbonation. I must then wash all the cans and burn the case to eliminate the possibility of bugs, aka ants and other sweet seeking insects.

At first there was an occasional can. I assumed maybe I bumped it in handling. But it has become a regular thing. I have taken much more care in the handling and find many more cans with this problem. Summer is approaching. And I am becoming angry for the loss, regularly of cans of Pepsi, and the added work of washing all my cans and the worry of insect infestation in my home. Where is your quality control? BTW this is on two styles of Pepsi. We purchase 12 packs of caffeine free non diet, and 24 packs,12 packs of regular Pepsi. It occurs in all three packagings. So it is a quality control issue.

I am glad to see I am not the only one to have issues with opening the 2-liter bottles of Pepsi. I have never had a problem with this until about a month ago. Any other 2-liter of a drink other than Pepsi is easy to open. Even my husband struggles with opening it for me. Sometimes I have to have him open one up for me before he goes to work or wait til he gets home to open it. Come on now... this really shouldn't have to be an issue!

All the Mountain Dew with Call of Duty is flat. I have been to every store in Valparaiso, IN and Hebron, IN and all stores are Call of Duty on Mt. Dew and they are flat. We are spreading the word not to buy it, is over a year old and is flat. I don't have receipt but we tell everyone buying it it is flat, don't waste your money. We have thrown away all of it. It's pretty bad when that is all they stock around here is bad soda. Have to go to coke products if you want fresh soda. These complaints probably don't mean nothing but we will keep posting on social media. Thanks for nothing Pepsi products.

We are very disappointed that you decided to use Splenda in your diet Pepsi. Both my grand-daughter and daughter, who are migraine sufferers get worse migraines after using Splenda. They had no problems before it was recently added. My husband does not like the nauseous feeling and aftertaste after drinking his diet Pepsi so now he has switched back to diet Coca Cola and will continue to do so until Splenda is removed.

Other people have already mentioned the various bad batches of this product. Tastes flat; like metal; leaves horrible aftertaste in mouth -- I don't remember the exact dates of the other bad batches (other than 4/17/2016); but I do know that we have thrown out several 12 packs when trying to find just one can that tasted right. I don't understand this. I have been a loyal Pepsi customer for over 35 years and they have gone through some really bad versions of the product. If they would just make the Throwback Pepsi again the way it originally was... they could solve many of their problems! I really have lost patience with this company! I think I'll try Coke again.

On October 7th At 5:30 p.m. I attempted to buy a soda out of the machine. When the machine drop the soda it went into a hole in the bottom of the machine that was not supposed to be there. I reached in to get my soda however my arm got stuck, could not get my arm out and had to get the fireman to get my arm out. I eventually went to urgent care, my hands and arm and wrist were swollen. I contacted Pepsi immediately and was told someone will come to my home or call me and have yet to be notified.

My arm is still swollen and truly hurting and I'm very disgusted with Pepsi that no one would think enough to say or call and saying how are you doing. I never did get my soda, I never did get a call from Pepsi and I'm stuck with my arm hurting swollen and wrapped. I didn't think it was too much to ask that they contact me. I am very disappointed with Pepsi.

The new Diet Pepsi product states that it is aspartame Free on the front of the bottle. It does not have the usual "Splenda" logo on the lower front of the bottle as it normally appears on products containing Splenda! The ingredients only state sucralose! I cannot tolerate Splenda with my IBS!! The new Diet Pepsi is sickening sweet. I will not be purchasing diet Pepsi with this formula!

I own a business and we have been using Pepsi for more than five years. We have a contract with Pepsi... Our orders are every three weeks. When we order I usually order an extra syrup because of shelf life. Our sales on drinks are down and I have not order for three months. Since then I've had numerous calls telling me that I need to place an order and today was the last straw. I was informed by a rude Pepsi employee that if I don't order today my account will be canceled even though I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years.

I wasn't even qualified for the six-week ordering plan. I told her that I can't order any products if the ones I have aren't being used. I have one expired syrup that I am no longer selling but Pepsi won't sell the syrup to me if I don't buy more than one. It's ridiculous that Pepsi is not willing to work with me but rudely tells me that I buy the product which I don't need at moment or have my account closed and the machine picked up as soon as possible.

We are supposed to be in a shelving contract for the year 2015. According to the written contract, payment from Pepsi was due at the end of the 1st quarter or April 1. As of today July 14, 2015 we have not received payment. Any attempt to discover why we haven't been paid has been met with no satisfactory response, nobody knows where or when we will be paid. Our store however has been repeatedly called for a missed payment and sent several letters after we mistakenly missed a bill. Pepsi even refused to sell us any more product even though we have been a long time customer and had no previous payment issues. We have since cancelled our Pepsi contract and will now deal exclusively with Coca Cola.

I have been a Pepsi buyer for well over 30 years. I would not think of having any other soda in the fridge. However.... I am very disappointed with its current taste over the last months. I do not normally go to websites to write complaints, but I have found it interesting that so many others have also expressed the same concern and disappointment in what was a superior product for the last 50 years. Pepsi is now always flat and stale. It has an aftertaste that is worse than any diet soda I have ever purchased. The pop has lost its fizz and presents a metal aftertaste.... like a tin can. Have you changed the formula or what???

I have intentionally bought 12 packs and bottles at various locations over the last several weeks. I was hoping that maybe I just purchased product from a bad batch and would find better product at another location. No matter which big box store I choose to frequent the product was the same.... flat and stale with a nasty aftertaste. Please bring back the Pepsi product we all loved. The Pepsi company needs to make the public aware that you appreciate their feedback and have listened to their requests AND BROUGHT BACK THE PRODUCT WE ALL LOVE! I sincerely hope that you are listening to the concerns of these emails. It is not my desire to change sodas but I will not have a choice if the current product remains as is. Thank you.

Bought a Restaurant and retained Pepsi both fountain and a 20 oz. Cooler kept freezing and Tech came to fix it whereas a few days later everything froze again and lost dozens of 20 oz. drinks. Also having the location 4 months, I've had 2 sales calls for syrup for the fountain drinks. Called sales rep supervisor which was VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to us. I would say Pepsi by my perception doesn't have their act together and I am quite done with dealing with the ROMPER ROOM, having cooler picked up today and we will be getting the ball rolling on moving over to Coke Products in all of our Various locations. Being a smart ass to people will cost you business now, and future business as well.

All Mountain Dew with exp. dates of November have been beyond horrible tasting. This has happened once before, about a year ago. Now I did call Pepsi and they refunded me. And I also had them look up my name to show them that I contacted them on same issue a year ago. Yes I was pleased that I was given coupons to replace. However what does that matter when they don't follow-through and remove this bad product. I ended up with more bad Mountain Dew. And they are still selling it this way 3-4 weeks after contacting them. I want a good tasting Mountain Dew for goodness sakes. And all I have is stacks of bad ones piling up. Really annoying and very upsetting that they are not taking care of this issue.

I was in Mars getting my caffeine free Pepsi and a Pepsi person who was delivering there on May 27th at approximately 11 a.m. was very nice and actually got his co worker to go out to the truck and get me soda. I didn't even ask him. I just was there and was there was one and he said "what kind of you want?" In the end he went and got it so I appreciate that. So he should have a pat on the back for that. I appreciate the fact that he cared enough to go get me the soda that I like which is caffeine free Pepsi. Pepsi needs to put more out because a lot of people want that and when we go we can't find it. But I really appreciate the fact that he made the effort to go get it.

I have been an exclusive consumer of Pepsi for 60 years and am outraged by the current price increase. Your change from 24 oz bottles to 500 ml (16.9 oz) was NOT accompanied by a price decrease. You decreased the amount sold by roughly 30% and kept the price the same for a net price increase of 50%. The smaller bottle means more frequent refills of the fridge, a terrible waste of plastic, and a lot of irritation for your customers. This summer, I'll drink iced tea and sugar my OWN water.

This is just an irritated consumer who enjoys Pepsi products but is now disappointed by the subtle change made in the size of the bottles for the six packs of Pepsi and diet Pepsi, which have miraculously become thinner with less product in them. However, I haven't noticed a decrease in the pricing. Yes, believe it or not, we do notice these things.

Dumped out most but had others that like me live on Pepsi same, I've keep several cans but that pop will make someone sick. Need to pull that lot # of pop. I drink Pepsi nonstop but I have to agree with that other person that said that she bought 2 cases of Pepsi and it was flat. I buy the 2 liter bottles of Pepsi and mine is always flat plus there is a really gross taste to it now almost like a carbonated flavor and it really makes me nauseous. I have actually drank it a few times to where I couldn't take the taste and actually threw up. What is going on with Pepsi? Do you and your employees just don't care anybody about the product your putting out there or what. If this keeps up then you're going to be out of business which means you and your employees will no longer be employed because people are going to actually stop buying the product.

Now, look at me, I buy about 30 to 35 bottles (2 liters) a month so now calculate how much that is and then you will see how much your company is going to lose in one month if I stop buying Pepsi and that's just one person. Think about if all your regular customers do the same and now you end up with nothing, zip, zero.. I know that you don't want that so you need to figure out what's going on because I'm thinking about going to Dr. Pepper or maybe Coke..

Like many companies, Pepsi has moved to the "bulk" delivery system. Pepsi is the worst! Most vendor deliveries used to be of the "conventional" method, where the vendor would come into the store, work his stock from the retailer's backroom, then bring in off his truck what was needed for the shelf, cleaning the shelves for his area, then returning the next day to do the same process again. Very efficient, similar to what many corporations call the "delivery on-time" method. Many companies changed to the "bulk" method of delivery, whereby huge quantities of the company's product were palletized, and this occurred two or three times a week.

One person would order, another would unload the pallets (sometimes ten to fifteen), clogging up the store's stockroom. You never knew when the delivery would arrive. One retailer would fire you if you left the front area of the store if you were the only manager on duty but the corporate sanctioned budget was so tight that no hours were allocated to check them in.... and a manager was not allowed to give his or her keys to the receiving doors out, or, as you may have guessed by now....the manager in question would be fired! We did have a vendor check-in person, but their hours were 6am to 3pm, and most bulk deliveries would occur after 3pm or while the vendor receiver was on a lunch hour. We were not allowed to refuse deliveries.

So, the manager on duty was in a no-win situation. The Pepsi person that was supposed to work through this mountain of product would be forced to work through what was just dropped off. He worked weekdays only. Pepsi hired part-time workers for Saturday and Sunday, usually college students, who of course would not go through the mountain of stock in the back vendor stock area. And, if you worked for a company like I did, you could not check the thoroughness of the part-timers' work because since you were the only manager on duty, you would be fired if you left the front-end to check the shelves or the cleanliness of Pepsi's back stockroom vendor area.

Our district manager would come in on Mondays or Tuesdays and accuse us of not "monitoring" the backstock situation, threatening to write us up if it was not gotten under control. Contacting our local Pepsi supervisor was a waste of time. Oh, and by the way, I even had a Pepsi order person, who gets commission on how much product gets shipped to the store, begged me to let him deliver a huge number of his product in order to gain him more commission... because he claimed he was behind on child support! Coca-Cola has the same bulk delivery system, but are so much more professional about it.

I'm writing this to maybe deaf ears but have to tell someone my disappointment in a product that I liked and constantly spoke its praises. It always had a clean crisp taste, and was top of the soft drink category. With the new change of the logo, you also changed the very thing people liked that made it different than 7up and Sprite. I now have an aftertaste that brings on a sinus headache. At first I thought this can't be, they would not have done that and that maybe it's a different formula in plastic bottles. I bought a case of cans and same outcome. I'm writing with a headache and literally have a bad taste in my mouth. I will not purchase this product again unless or until there is a change back to the superior product it once was, and I will spread the word.

Sit down and buckle up because it's about to be a rage fueled ride. Pepsi co does not give a flying ** about their consumers. They don't give a ** about delivery times or how their product is handled. These reps are based off of how many cases they deliver to a store and they will ** you blind if you don't try to control what they bring in. On top of that they wont show up half the ** time then when they do, they want to double your order. On top of all of that good ** luck actually receiving it at a decent ** time in the day. No these ** heads want to show up at 5pm after most of your business has already happened for the day. Or they just hit the street light outside with their giant truck and drive away and don't deliver at all. Then they don't even call you to tell you they aren't coming as you watch them drive away with all the product that you are willing to pay for.

You get paid for you merchandise, why is it so ** hard to come when you are suppose to come? DID you get ** caught in a ** black hole on your way to deliver? Then when you call the supervisors they also don't give a ** about anything that their drivers are doing. They have no ** repercussions for their actions which just leads me to believe they don't give a ** about people actually buying their **. It is their own responsibility to put up their product. Once they do decide they want to ** deliver it and these ** never do, they drop it off on the floor, over 200 cases and then want to curse at you when you tell them it's their job to put it up. Were you not told your ** job description when you were hired? Where the ** do you find these people? You could probably get better people off of craigslist. Wtf. Do you not run reference checks?

This is the most absurd company I have ever had the extreme misfortune of working with. You are a thorn in my side, you are the bane of my existence. I cannot stand that my company has a national account with you. I swear I will cut back your orders and sell as minimal as possible you **. You work off of how many cases you sell? Good, welcome to hell ** cause I'm about to order as little as possible and start refusing the rest. Maybe once you aren't paid as much then you will realize to do your ** job and just manage to get the ** deliveries on time and not be so ** rude about it. Also, leaving all your goddamn pallets at the store isn't ** cute. You say they're expensive? Oh you want me to stop throwing them away? Then stop being a lazy piece of ** and actually ** drop off the deliveries when they are suppose to be there then pick up your pallets. Jesus was a ** carpenter, I'm sure he moved pallets of wood you lazy **. If Jesus could do it you should be able to take five minutes out of your ** day to put it back in your ** truck that apparently always breaks down since that's always your ** excuse for not coming when I call you asking where the ** you are. The sales reps get commission for cases ordered and negative commission for cases returned which drives sales reps to order more cases than needed and refusal to return cases that have expired. We have informed our rep that business would be slow and we would need fewer cases, yet we get so overstocked, there is not enough shelf space to hold all the product and end up having far more products expire than needs to be. The rep has refused to take all the expired goods back, because as a result "too much would be docked from his paycheck." One could say this is just a dishonest rep. After having the same issue with multiple reps it has become clear that it is a ploy set up by Pepsi's executives to generate more revenue and the rep is just their pawn. Ask yourself who benefits from the commission and it's purpose will become self explanatory.

I drink Mountain Dew on a daily basis. A few weeks ago I bought a two liter of Mountain Dew and it felt like it was already opened and flat so it had to be thrown out. The next one I bought the wood was wondering so tight that I tripped about an inch of skin off of my finger and it's been a week and I'm still waiting on it to heal. Last night I went to open another two liter and it ripped open what had already held on my finger and I still couldn't get this bottle open. Is there some kind of special tool that needs to be used open Mountain Dew 2 liters now? I've contacted Pepsi of course with no response from them. Very frustrating. I love Mountain Dew but I'm willing to switch to Coke.

The can and contents weighs 1.1970 oz and an empty can weighs .5240 oz so the contents weighs .6730 oz. It is not liquid, but some kind of soft foreign object. I was an employee of this company for many years. I have visited a lot of their plants and where they produce these products... very, very old buildings - early 1900 hundreds, a lot of dirty areas and I myself will not buy their products, then and now. Animal feed plants are cleaner. I totally believe all the consumer complaints regarding foreign material and PepsiCo truly does not care about the consumer or their own employees. Quit buying their products is the only answer. They own Quaker, Tropicana. This is quite a place so I have been told from their own quality control dept., Gatorade, Frito Lay, Pepsi and a few more if you go on their website you will find them.

Today I opened a 24-pack of Diet Pepsi, in the NFL packaging, I purchased from Walmart. Inside was a piece of paper in the shape of our currency in the amount of 1,000,000 dollars. That was bad enough but the reverse side was the ranting of religious writings in answer to what was the million dollar questions. Nothing on this piece of paper was requested by me nor was there any indication on the outside of the packaging to tell me what this was all about. Anyone have an idea what this paper is for or has Pepsi decided to force feed their religious views on unsuspecting customers?
