Used to love these Lean Cuisine. Now every one of them are tasteless and the trays the food comes in is flimsy and bends, and cracks while microwaving the food causing a real mess. I am so disappointed now in the bland flavor of every entry.

First off, flavor was decent for a frozen meal. I have a 30 min lunch break and had to eat something. I was fine until about 2 hours later I was in excruciating stomach pain and repeatedly went to the bathroom in tears, crouched over with diarrhea. I ate some Tums and some sips of ginger ale but it is barely helping. Never eating a Lean Cuisine again. Worst pain ever. Felt like a stomach ulcer!!!!

Okay the new TV dinners are insanely excellent. The noodles are thick and plump and not mushy. The chicken is so moist and there's a decent amount of it the flavorings. Awesome. The only thing I would change is the teriyaki sauce that they made. Their chicken teriyaki with needs changed Teriyaki. One is nasty and the Sesame I would love to eat but they only have it with noodles instead of rice. If they made it with rice I would buy it all the time.

I grew up at the tip of Texas in Brownsville/Matamoros and literally grew up on Mexican food. When I found this particular product I knew I had a good dietary support on my weight loss plan. I couldn’t stomach Nutrisystem but this Lean Cuisine Unwrapped Chicken Burrito hit a home run for me. I absolutely love it. As I find myself doing with anything like this I grab taco sauce, will add some cheese to it, make sure I use a lot of salt and pepper to taste of course but anytime you look in my freezer from now on you’ll see an entire stack of these babies! (I could just see the test kitchen cheering and high-fiving after creating this!)

I use to love Lean Cuisine chicken Parmesan until last night when I found a fake fingernail in my meal! It was in the first bite of chicken I took and when I was chewing it I thought it was a hard piece of chicken...NOPE it was a frickin fake press/glue on fingernail. I was horrified and almost threw up! It makes me sick thinking about it. I’m not going to be able to eat lean cuisine ever again. I called and reported it, the lady was nice and apologetic but no one can change the fact I had someone else’s fake fingernail in my mouth. I am so disgusted over it!

I used to like this product. This year 2020, the Parmesan chicken suddenly tasted odd, not like it had gone bad but just odd in the sense it was not actual chicken but some other animal. Never tasted anything like it. I couldn’t eat them for a long time I was so turned off. I had some others in my freezer I thought I’d use up. Halfway through I bit down on a tiny round circular bone fragment or hard white plastic. I don’t know what it was. Then I spit out another round piece that was gristle like (or rubber) that might have housed this bone thing. I’ve read some were recalled due to bits of hard plastic being found in a mashed potato one. This wasn’t mashed potato but Thai Peanut chicken. I can’t eat any of them now I am so turned off. They’ve gone into the trash. Quality control is nonexistent.

I was so disappointed in this product as for the last year I have been using this product and thought was the best product over the others out there. #1380016611 this was excellent in flavor but then you went to the box 20% more. #1380079873. I found these to be horrible. No Flavor and couldn't taste the spice in the orange sauce. See now that no Asian spice in it. Anyway, will be looking for another product that has favor as this one is horrible. Why would you change your recipe. You are going to lose many customer. As a Wise person said don't change what's working. I purchase at Red Apple, Ontario, OR receipt #** 7/15/20.

Have loved their butternut squash ravioli so thought I’d try the shrimp scampi. It tastes ok but is mostly pasta. There are 6 shrimp but they are half the size shown on the box. So very small. Won’t buy again.

I've tried several of the newer frozen dinners from Lean Cuisine - the orange chicken is the worst. None have been good, and I am generally a fan of frozen meals. The orange chicken is almost all rice with some peppers. When you follow their directions, the 4 or 5 pieces of breaded chicken are mushy and almost tasteless. This is nothing like an orange chicken you would get at a Chinese restaurant. It was so bad, I threw most of it out. It feels like the accountants have taken over the kitchen, and put the cheapest, most tasteless ingredients in the meal. But even so, it should not be mushy when cooked. Lean Cuisine, in my opinion, has deteriorated a lot in the past few years in quality and taste of their meals.

The box of 20% more Sweet & Sour Chicken says "breaded white meat chicken with brown rice & vegetables in sweet & sour sauce." Not true. There are minimal pieces of something which may pass for chicken in other countries, but it's quite revolting. Worse, there is no sauce at all, the white (not brown) rice, veggies & "chicken" are dry as dust. I got about one-third of it down before dumping the rest in the garbage. Seems strange as the regular size S&S Chicken is good with a generous amount of sauce; I suspect they added a lot of rice & filler but didn't increase the sauce. And I'd love to know what that "chicken" really is. I'll never again try one of their 20% meals.

Although the product said it contained Rice and cooked Chicken as the main ingredients there was not any chicken. Very disappointing to purchase a product and not receive what is advertised in said product.

This dinner is marketed in a container resembling Chinese food take-out. The noodles and vegetables were tasty with a flavorful sauce. The chicken, however, while small in quantity, had no flavor and tasted fatty and grisly and had a soft texture (unlike real chicken). If I didn’t know it was supposed to be chicken, I never would have been able to figure it out from the taste/texture. A fancy wrapping can’t disguise lackluster food.

It went to trash as I wouldn’t allow my dogs to eat this garbage. This is a flavorless product. Everything about it was very wrong. Please don’t purchase any unless you only like the idea of food and need calories but don’t actually want flavor of any kind. The texture wasn’t awful so people that don’t taste may think it is ok. I didn’t.

I want to know how the first ingredient listed is chicken when I can barely find a teaspoon of white meat chicken that is supposed be in this meal. The breading is there which makes it appear to have chicken pieces but is only fried breading and no chicken except the one piece with less than teaspoon of meat. I kept trying by purchasing 3 different times thinking someone just messed up on the first 2 meals but NO the 3rd had tiny piece of chicken also and all other was breading. This is a meal I have bought for some time and there was white chicken meat pieces in breading. I give up on all of your food as same thing happened with the Sesame Chicken which was always fine with chicken pieces. The taste is good but consumers are being mislead by claiming chicken as 1st ingredient in these meals which makes this false and misleading information for this product. I am done!

Bought apple cranberry chicken. Unfortunately bought two. Threw the second one away. It had about four small pieces of chicken but was mostly some things that looked like white beans. Tasteless. Picture on package is very misleading. Also the beans were not cooked.

I ate spaghetti with meatballs and if you go walking afterwards, it causes diarrhea. This happened to me twice. I had to poop inside a friend car, and had to pay $200 to get it cleaned. Otherwise, I am a healthy late 40s male. Exercise and watch my weight. This is terrible and embarrassing.

When I opened the package I realized how small the enchilada was and that most of it was going to be rice. Then I cooked it as instructed and took one bite and realized that was terrible. So I thought okay I'll eat the rice with the chicken and so I scraped the inside of the enchilada. I did not even get half a teaspoon of chicken pieces out of that enchilada. And then to be honest I ate the rice because I was hungry but it left a terrible slimy feel in my mouth and it wasn't even tasty. Been years since I have bought Lean Cuisine. Tried this because of a coupon. I will not ever buy Lean Cuisine again.

Decided to give it a try at work for lunch to avoid eating out. Usually make my own lunch but this was on sale so I gave it a try. Wish I hadn’t tried it all and stuck to my regular sandwiches. Made me sick, felt like I was going to vomit and had diarrhea within a couple hours. I rarely to never get sick and that was all I ate today for lunch. Never again!

Got a coupon that says if I buy 5 products I would get $2 off my next grocery purchase. I did that but the coupon did not print up. Talked to customer service and was told I needed to contact Lean Cuisine since that happens all the time. Contacted the company and was told I would have to send in my receipt or make a copy to email it to them but first I had to give them my email which I did not want to do. They would not take my receipt number, etc. over the phone. To go through all that hassle for $2 is ridiculous. That should have been printed on the coupon in the first place. I wouldn't have bought their frozen dinners. Done with them.

I have been eating Lean Cuisine meals for 20 years, with the new look on the outside of the boxes came a less than desirable new recipe. Always having had sesame seed chicken as my go to meal. Now it is bland and dry with less sauce, less chicken, and twice the rubber green beans. All other meals are lacking in the very same way. I regretfully had to abandon what was my weekly major purchase at the grocery store. And will never purchase any more Lean Cuisines.

I’ve had Lean Cuisines for many years. I’ve often found them to be a quick and easy way to avoid buying lunch at work if I don’t have leftovers from dinner... with that being said... I spent 48 hours vomiting and having stomach pain and diarrhea after eating the Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. I was sick within about 2-3 hours of eating (had felt absolutely fine the entire day) and remained ill for about 48 hours (although vomiting and extreme nausea abated after about 6-12 hours). I almost landed in the ER for dehydration. I’ve been wracking my brain about what could have made me sick... after seeing so many people have the same experience on here I’m pretty sure it was food poisoning. It was definitely the sickest I’ve ever been (beyond any stomach viruses I’ve had). I will not be buying anymore from this company.

I wanted to start eating these dishes because they're low on calories and bought one of each. Honestly, the only dish that's edible and tastes pretty good is the meatless meatball one. The rest, ESPECIALLY the the ones that include any kind of meat are extremely gross, made such a HORRIBLE smell at my office that I was embarrassed and threw half or more out because they tasted so bad I thought I was going to get sick if I eat them all. They're disgusting! I really don't mean to be rude, just honest and super disappointed.

Ok. So I'm new to the whole Lean Cuisine thing but I can tell you this, never again. I bought this "Grilled Chicken Primavera" dinner and I'm disappointed. It was a whole lot of Primavera in that mf and maybe even a little bit of grilled in there. But it was not one piece of chicken in there. I'm talking about I had to go back to the trash can, pull the box back out, read it, blink a couple times and then read it again to make sure I seen chicken on the box. Even read the ingredients. Now, it says that this ** is 17 grams of protein and I'm confused on how a bowl of pasta, broccoli, and carrots in some sauce produces 17 grams of protein. I'm really trying to determine if this is lawsuit worthy.

I have been a steady consumer of Lean Cuisine meals. My tastes are simple so my choices are pretty simple. In April 2017 and now February 2019 I have experienced horrible symptoms 6-8 hours after eating the frozen pepperoni pizza. I had vomiting, diarrhea, migraine headache, thirst, muscle cramps and I slept about 24 hrs, except when I was being sick. This year my spouse was home and wasn't sick and we ate the same supper meal. Each time I have added 6 slices of pepperoni to my pizza. Last year I thought it was bad pepperoni. This year I checked smell, expiration date before adding the extra pepperoni. My spouse thinks the common denominator is the pizza but know I won't eat it again.

I have been a die hard fan of Lean Cuisine's pepperoni pizza for years. I usually eat it every day for lunch. Though I have tried other pizzas by Lean Cuisine and other companies, there is no comparison to the taste and quality of the pepperoni pizza. I love it so much that I won’t even go to grocery stores that don’t care their pepperoni pizza. However, recently something has gone terribly wrong with the company's standards. I recently received a pepperoni pizza that had no pepperoni on it. I contacted the company and provided all the detail they required to check out this misfortunate error. Lean Cuisine actually sent a letter thanking me along with a few coupons and two free pizza vouchers.
Since then I have continued to experience problems with their pizza. They have become so inconsistent... Some with three pepperonis and others with six. The last two pepperoni pizzas I purchased had little to no sauce which, after trying a bite, went straight into the trash. And when I say little to no sauce I mean there were sections of the pizza where there was just crust showing, no sauce, no cheese, etc. I’ve basically lost faith in this company and refuse to spend close to $4.00 for a pizza Not knowing if it’s going to be up to normal standards. Hopefully their quality control personnel will get on board and correct this problem.

I had never tried the mango chicken and coconut rice before Nov. 30, 2018. The meal made my stomach very upset instantly. 30 mins later, I had very bad diarrhea and cramps. I probably will not eat another Lean Cuisine again which is sad because I do like a couple of their other meals.
