This website I've being using it for 5 years without a problem. When I needed cash, it was simple and easy to use. Totally life saver.
I had been paying on my balance of 1368.64 - 150.00 a month since nov 2013. I had 3 payments left - only owe 450.00. They used Ecare as their collection agency. Today, 6/19/2014 I get a call from Midwest fidelity saying I owe 1400.00. I told them I have been paying another company. Then I contacted Zip 19 and they tried to scam me out of 1400.00 also. So I am contacting the BBB and local police -- not going to be a victim of pay loan fraud. I paid 900.00 out of 1300.00 for 7 months and now they are trying to rip me off - NOT PAYING FRAUDULENT SCAMS.
I signed onto my account tonight, and Zip19.com is down. They got their money finally, good thing I kept the $239.00 in my account. Didn't realize they were American Indians living as a sovereign nation. Gotta love those natives, keep ripping us off!
I've used them off and on for several years and never had any issues - money always arrived as expected and they withdrew the payback amount when scheduled to. In general, I do think it's worth noting that one of the dangerous things about Zip19 is that they are willing to loan very large amounts of money, much larger than what the payday loan laws in my state allow, and it's really easy to get in over your head during hard times and set up a system of dependency.
I hadn't used them for almost two years but fell behind a few months ago and had begun to loan from them again. My plan was to continue to reloan until I received my tax return and pay them off and hopefully be done with them. The interest fees seriously begin to add up and it's not a good feeling knowing you've made yourself dependent on them. Anyway, they never took my end of January payment from my account. I figured it was just a technical error and that they would withdraw it eventually. Then they began calling my job trying to get in contact with me and asking for a credit card payment. I didn't want to give them that info either, so I declined. But it didn't really matter because shortly after they processed what I owed them from my bank account and I was paid off.
When I tried to reloan, I got the same message that they were unable to process applications due to "technical difficulties". I've tried to contact them a few times about this and keep getting the same rhetoric that they are having "technical issues" and are working "around the clock" to fix this problem. But it's been almost a month now and after reading these comments, I'm pretty sure at this point it isn't a technology issue but some kind of legal problem/issue.
The staff are courteous when I call to ask but something seems sketchy and suspect and I don't get the impression they are being upfront when they assure me this problem "could be fixed any day". After learning a little more about them, I think it might be a blessing in disguise this happened because it seems like they were doing some questionable stuff anyway and perhaps it was only a matter of time before something like went down. It does suck because it has thrown off my finances, but I'm hopeful I can use my tax refund to catch up and learn from this that payday loans often create a cycle of dependency its better not to get caught in.
I am also writing due to an email I received from Zip 19 regarding technical issues with their payment provider and that they can no longer debit my account for re-payment and I will need to provide a credit card for payment. Whether or not this is true I cannot say, but my loan agreement that I signed with them was to debit my account via my checking account and not my credit card or any other form of payment. It is not my fault that their system has failed but I will not give them my credit card number when they already have my bank account number. When I first logged into my account it was showing double what I owed and that concerned me because my account was clearly debited for one of the debts that were showing.
I only owed one payment. That sent up a red flag immediately. I called them and they explained the "technical issues" and told me that I would need to pay with my credit card. Until they get the issue resolved on their end, I will not be making this payment with any other form of payment other than what I agreed to in the documents. I have ALWAYS paid them and I've never had any issues with them until now. Think about it, if they can't take the money out of your account, then they can't put any back in either, but they will have your credit card number. I'm just not comfortable with that.

I'm kind of in the same boat, I've never had a problem until recently. I was approved for my loan but it was never deposited. I contacted them and kind of pushed the issue, and a supposed supervisor explained to me that the company itself had money to issue loans, but the problem was the secondary vendor that actually handles the distribution and dealing with the bank. True or not, its the best explanation I could get.
I been using Zip19 for months, but the last time about two weeks ago. I received a loan that was to be paid back 1/15/2014. When I check my acct. the payment had not been taken. I waited two more days then I received a call, telling me that we're having problems with their payment system that debts payment from your account. Asked if I could make my payment with a credit card. I did. Payment was taken. I was assured by one of Zip19 rep that they would not be coming back and debiting the same amount from my checking account. But now, with reading the comments about Zip19, I am afraid that they may try to debit my account. I will be taking a close eye on my account, and will be contacting my bank about any transaction coming from Zip19, or any others.
To be honest, I've had no real problems with Zip19; however when I applied for a new loan this week they declined my application and gave me no satisfactory answer for their action, even though I established myself as a good previous customer who paid off the last loan without incident. While I've seen the negative reviews of this company and I understand the reasons for their complaints, I personally haven't had problems with them until now and they're leaving good customers like me in the dark, and now I'm finding that more than a little suspicious.
I applied for a loan but never received the money. When I called they said it takes 3 days for the funds to be deposited in the bank. Well I still never received the money I called back again and told them to just cancel the request. The customer service rep. said they had the wrong bank account number. I told her I don't know how that happened but I did not want to do business with them after reading all the online complaints. Now they are calling telling me I owe them back the loan amount. The loan amount I never received. So I had to close out my account and start up a new bank account over all this.
My wife has received loans from them several times and paid them back without incidence. As far as payday loans were concerned, we liked the fact that they didn't drag the loan on charging 'refinance fees'; that is, until we had an emergency in the home. My wife called and asked if they could reschedule the withdrawal from our account. She was told that was not possible because we had a contract, and the contract was signed for a specific date. My wife pleaded with them, and they told her they would keep trying to debit our account until they got their money. This would incur a $59 fee from Zip19, and a $37 fee from my bank each time. Since they would not change the date, we were forced to allow the debit and make other arrangements.
I had a couple of loans with them. Suddenly, a person with a foreign accent called saying he was from the United States government and that I owed money, which I did not. He threatened me with jail, that my children could be harmed, and on and on. When I called Zip19, they refused to acknowledge it, saying they have been hacked, etc. I complained to the FTC and there is an investigation.
I applied and received confirmation of my loan on June 8, 2012, but the money was never deposited into my account. I called to inquiry about the funds and was told that they had to have a copy of my Social Security card prior to providing me the funds. I have never heard of such and would never submit a copy of my Social Security card through the mail to anyone except a federal organization for employment purposes. If the funds are withdrawn out of my account this week, I will take further legal action as this is all a big scam.
I have called twice today trying to change my bank account information because the account info you have on file had to be closed due to fraud. Nobody there will allow me to give the new bank account info where this payment can be successfully debited. And stated they will instead knowingly debit a closed account and charge me a $59 fee for Zip19's intentional wrongdoing. This business practice is appalling and I will contact every attorney possible to ensure it is investigated to the fullest. I will never again do business with a company that not only practices such immoral business practices, but also treats loyal customers in the manner I have been treated today.
I filled out a loan application on September 15 through a different payday loan company because my car needed repairs. I received the loan and paid it off. Then I checked my checking account on October 8 and saw that I had a loan deposited by Zip19 on October 6. I called Zip19 immediately and told them that I have never heard of them and did not authorize this transaction; they repeatedly told me that I did. The supervisor Paulo was very rude and hung up on me after telling me I needed to file a Police Report. I'm thinking how crazy is this who benefits from this except Zip19, charging me interest fees on an unauthorized loan.
I told them withdraw the loan and lets be done with it. Well, they said being that I didn't catch it 2 days earlier they couldn't do anything until the end of the month - of course racking up extra charges and interest. So I said let me make a payment today and be done with you scammers and of course they decline me.
So of course I closed my checking account which we all know is a pain in the ** and I went to my local Police Department to tell them this story in which I got what I thought I was going to get - a laugh in my face by both the officer and his superior. They could not figure out what crime had occurred being that I received money and none was taken. I asked him is there a crime for being bullied into a loan being that it is national bully week; well, they laugh in my face again and the only thing I received was a case number in which I sent to Zip19 3 times already and has received no response. This has been a pain in the **. I would love a suggestion from anyone especially an attorney to weigh my options.
Okay, it was Christmas and I was running short on cash so I took out a pay day loan with Zip 19. So I told the lady my pay dates; the 15th and last day of the month. So when I told the lady when I can repay the loan back, she said, "Okay, but we have to hold it until the 15th, then deposit into your account".
I called on the 9th of December, so on the 15th I received the funds and on the 30th, they overdrafted my account because I didn't get paid until the 31st. So when I called the company to complain to a supervisor, they said it doesn't matter what I say because I signed the agreement that said 30th on it. So I tried to explain that the rep said she had to set it that way because they have a 14-day window only. So I told her I can't pay it until the 31st, the rep said it should come out until then.
I was notified by Zip 19 that my debt was paid in full on the agreed due date. The following week, I received an email that contradicted the first one. It stated that my payment was overdue. As a result, I decided to check my account. It became evident when I was misinformed by Zip 19 that they never requested payment from my bank on the date they notified me that the debt was paid off. Instead, my bank informed me that Zip 19 withdrew only half of the total amount that following week.
At this point, I contacted customer service to get the final payment in as soon as possible. I was passed through to voicemail. After several days of phone calls, a live chat online, and a climbing daily interest rate, I got a representative (Mandy **). I informed her of the initial email confirming my balance paid and I mentioned that the email was misleading. She became very combative and antagonizing. I attempted to arrange a payment to cover my overdue balance, however, she proceeded to yell at me and told me that she would not be submitting my request to pay off the balance. She hung up. As a result, my debt continue to grow with the interest rates climbing each day.
To date, no one has returned my call as of yet. They have notified the credit bureau that I’m a delinquent and a high risk borrower. She also informed me that hey will be garnishing my payment in order to obtain their share of money due to include daily interest rates. The confirmation letter is below:
“Your payment is due on 12-Nov-2010. Your loan payment in the amount of $719.88 was debited in 2 payments from your account on 12-Nov-2010.”
We took out a few payday loans with this company. We always paid them back with no problem. We ran into some financial problems late in November and couldn't pay them back right away. Ted ** contacted us and demanded half payment or he would call the HR department at my job (which he did on more than one occasion). We couldn't pay them back as they wanted to be paid. They attempted twice to draft $896 from our checking account, but since we didn't have the money, it was returned NSF and our account was charged $30 in NSF Fees.
Then my wife contacted Amanda ** and they tried to work out a payment arrangement. Ms ** said that if we would pay $560 by today (Feb. 5th 2010) it would "settle" the account. My wife told her that we could do that if they would not try to debit the $896 from our account. They agreed and gave us the Western Union Quick Collect information. So we go to the bank today to get the $560 and lo and behold, they had drafted the $896. The bank honored the debit because we have overdraft protection up to $500. So now, we are overdrafted and cannot even stop payment on this.
My wife called them and asked why they did this even though we had all agreed on a settlement. They said that they made a mistake and that within 4 business days they would refund the difference. In the meantime, we are out of money that we need to feed our family and other bills that need to be paid. We will never again use any payday loan company. You are better off going to a "real" lender. My wife is now physically ill from the stress and had to go to the doctor. We've been charged $60 in overdraft charges just for today's episode, and our car insurance will lapse over the weekend. Not to mention that now my wife has a medical bill from all of this in the amount of $100.00, and we had to borrow $100 from my in-laws to get groceries to feed our family.
