What is The Credit Pros?

The Credit Pros disputes negative marks on your credit score on your behalf. It has three monthly packages that range in features, with the top-tier plans offering creditor interventions, cease and desist letters, letters of reference and goodwill letters. You can get a free consultation, which will not affect your credit score.

Once The Credit Pros successfully removes an item from your report, the company will reinvestigate for free if the negative mark gets reinstated to your credit report.

The company uses secure sockets layer (SSL) security technology to encrypt sensitive information. When you browse The Credit Pros website, you do so anonymously, and your personal data is not collected. Your information is then maintained with industry-standard safeguards.

How does The Credit Pros work?

Once you are a client of The Credit Pros, a specialist will begin sending letters to the three credit bureaus addressing inaccurate items on your credit report. It takes about 60 days to see improvements on your credit report. When you receive updated credit reports, you then mail or fax them to The Credit Pros. You will continually send updated copies throughout the process.

The Credit Pros products and services

The Credit Pros offers three different packages:

  • The Money Management Plan includes one bureau dispute per month. This plan also comes with a credit report and scores from one bureau, but no cease and desist letters.
  • The Prosperity Plan: Get unlimited disputes with all three credit bureaus each month as well as access to cease and desist letters and creditor interventions.
  • The Success Plus plan: This top plan comes with everything mentioned above, plus all three credit bureau reports and monitoring. Clients also have access to a credit-builder loan, which helps you report timely payments to the bureaus.

The Credit Pros fees

The Credit Pros offers three tiers of service at different monthly rates:

  • The Money Management Plan costs $69 per month and has a $119 first-work fee.
  • The Prosperity Plan costs $119 per month and has a $119 first-work fee.
  • The Success Plus plan costs $149 per month and has a $149 first-work fee.

You can cancel your service at any time.

Does The Credit Pros have a money-back guarantee?

The Credit Pros has a 90-day money-back guarantee. However, its refund policy also comes with a lot of fine print. For example, the 90-day guarantee is only available if you see no results after you have been enrolled in the program for 90 days. Additionally, refunds are limited to 90 days, so if you are enrolled in the program for 150 days, you will only receive a refund for your fees for 90 days of service.

Do I need a hardship to use The Credit Pros?

Anyone can use The Credit Pros to dispute misinformation or negative marks on their credit reports. A free consultation is the best way to see if the company can help in your situation.

Will using The Credit Pros hurt my credit score?

Working with The Credit Pros should help your credit score, especially if you are able to remove negative marks on your credit report that aren’t supposed to be there. While working with The Credit Pros, you must continue to make on-time payments to creditors to avoid further issues.

      I enrolled with The Credit Pros in April of 2026 and paid $149. I was told that I wouldn't be charged again without my permission. It is May 2026. 2 days before I was supposed to be charged again and I called to cancel because I'd rather spend that large chunk of money on something more useful as nothing had been done to improve my credit currently which I figured it wouldn't happen fast but all they did was spam the same "does not recognize this inquiry" to try to dispute hard inquiries off my credit. I was told I could cancel with no hassle but that was obviously a lie considering I spent half an hour on the phone trying to cancel while being badgered to continue service.

      When I made it clear I didn't want to continue service they tried to tell me I had a balance of $250 something dollars to pay and I said, "No I didn't because I had paid the first month $149 and nothing had been done and on the online portal it said I had no balance." So I knew they were just trying to squeeze me for more money. Why would I pay $400 in two separate payments for no results? It was made clear that I was going to get a hassle.

      I hung up and called my bank, explained what was going on, and was advised to come in to cancel my card they had on file as I wasn't the only person they had heard this happen to. I later received an email saying "sorry to see you leave" so my only conclusion was that they could cancel my service but wanted to see what they could get out of me first. Anyways my advice is learn from my $149 mistake and don't waste your time. You can do exactly what they do on your own to improve your credit without getting scammed.

      I believed their suggestions initially. But then, without my approval, they took the initiative to withdrawal 40.00 from my bank account. THEN, wanted me to extend an extra 6 mos. to payment plan.

      This has been the worst experience. I not only paid the initial 149 but tried to cancel 9 days later and got charged more to cancel when I was told I could cancel at anytime. What a joke. Keep looking. This is a scam.

      This is a Scam, don't convince yourself that it will work for you they tried to charge me $300 for 30 days of my account being active, told me they sent letters, that I can't see or access to know if they've actually sent them. Go on YouTube and figure out how to fix your credit for free yourself.

      This company is a scam. No such thing as having someone repairing your credit, hard inquiries take a bit to rebuild which can only be done personally with proper credit card usage and more. I would never advise to sign up with Credit Pros. It's a waste of money and a ripoff, nothing changes. They roped me into a scam when they said $149 a month. First you have to pay a sign up fee for $149 (which wasn't mentioned) then next month on billing date they will charge you again. I would never ever sign up for these so called Credit Pros.

      I was told that there was a money back guarantee. I have not even had them helping me for a month more like a week, and they refuse to give me my money back. I am not happy with them at all. I paid $149 then the next day they attempted to take another $149 out of my checking account again! And everyone I talk to acts like they can not understand what I am trying to say. They will not cancel my so called “membership“ and are making me stay enrolled!?! I’m going to make some calls to my attorney and see what I can do about this scamming company….PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAST TALKING SALES PITCH. IT IS A LIE!!!!

      Scammers. I was a customer for about a year before deciding to cancel my account. My credit score has barely moved and I was ready to opt out of the service. The customer service representative gave me an extremely hard time canceling my account and demanded that I at least pay a fee of $32 to cancel. When I didn’t pay the $32 Credit pros withdrew $149 out of my account the next day. And then proceeded to send me a cancellation email after they withdrew the money out of my account. I repeatedly called and asked for a refund. Their team has gaslit me and refused to cooperate.

      I was with them for a few months. I at first was interested in the rent to own properties. Long story short moved without them. Now I'm paying 149.00 a month for so called credit repair. I make a couple payments no change to my credit. My score going in was 640. I tell them I can't afford it. Now after leaving my score dropped to 560. I can't believe it! I don't know what they did. Never deal with these people. I have more. I'll put it in another review.

      I have been with Credit Pros for almost 2 years. Every time I've reached out to them saying why is my credit score not getting improved I get a woman named Tori who is just customer service. She has refused to escalate this to the management team. She refuses to let me go beyond her scope and her pay grade which tells me very clearly she doesn't want her upper management to know the truth. They have made a lot of promises. As far as I'm concerned there are sales organization. They suck your money every single month. They have ripped my husband and I off severely thinking telling me you need a line of credit, you don't have positive credit. I have no other bills except the original ones. I have a very small file on the three credit bureaus. They have done very little for me and I've told them if they don't refund my money then I'm going to join the class action suit there's been several and there's an open one now.

      I encourage anyone who has been ripped off by credit pro to look on the internet and see there are at least two class action suits that are open right now against credit pros. I am definitely joining one of them and I'm very encouraged to right now go to the State of Florida as well as new stations against this company. They need to be exposed for the sales organization that they really are. They do not deliver what they promise

      This company is a total ripoff, I knew I didn’t have anything on my credit, 2 credit cards, both fairly knew, no money owed on either card, the guy even told me, there wasn’t a lot they could do for me except challenge that bill, so he said one time fee for the one bill, I was & am working on credit, I don’t make enough to pay a $149.00 a month even if my credit were bad. But trying to get ahold of someone to resolve absolute nightmare!!!! If you do businesses with them!! WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!!!

      I'm having credit issues. I was creating an account with Experian Bureau. The link with experian, directed me to the Credit Pros. I called the number. The agent that answered the phone was Mr. **, I think that's how you spell his last name. He was very informative. He was also patient and, understanding. He took the time! To explain everything to me. He also made sure that I had a good understanding. I could have done the work myself. I did start some of the process on my own. Upon talking to the agent. I began to feel more comfortable about it. They are taking care of all three bureaus altogether. So, that was less stress for me. And, I was stressful!! I feel pretty confident that they are going to do what they said. They also offered me a letter of evidence that they are handling my situation for proof of renting. That's until everything is finalized. They said they will handle it. And I believe they will. So, we will see 👀.
