Not knowing the ins and outs of a precious metals IRA, I was somewhat reluctant to even look into one. Since my first call with Goldco, any fear I had has disappeared. My first reaction was fine. I was impressed with how Goldco made the process a simple one, and the 10% back on silver was a big incentive. Simone was wonderful. She is probably the best representative I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. She was kind, courteous, and very patient. The trouble started after the transfer of money was placed. I did not receive any contact about the status of my order from Goldco for about a week despite assurances otherwise. I finally called myself and for the second time had trouble with the phone connection (the line would go dead with no response from Goldco). I had many questions, but I couldn't seem to get a word in, and then was scolded for my inquiries.

Several months ago I could see a potential threat to my Personal Retirement due to the direction our current Government! I knew I needed to look into another way to try and protect some of my Retirement. I was of course concerned and very leary because I was looking to Invest a large amount of money. Difficult Choice when it comes to choosing which Company to go with, Carl was very helpful but would never disclose rates & fees. Go look for a reputable dealer from the Professional Numismatists Guild list, where they follow a strict code of ethics, and you can find a FAIR PRICE on metals. I don't work in the industry, I'm just sharing my experience in the hopes that I can help you avoid getting conned like I did. I will upload supporting docs if this site allows it. Goldco will sell you "collectible" premium coins at 2x to 3x (!) the melt value of the metal. How would you like to spend $100K on coins you couldn't sell the next day for $50K? That is a likely outcome if you buy from Goldco. In fairness, Goldco will buy their coins back to keep you from leaving a bad review when/if you realize your mistake, but they'll keep a 20+ % fee. You'll be so relieved that you didn't lose 40-50%, maybe you'll go away quietly, or even feel like they did you a favor. Read the 1-star reviews, they're real.
