PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE people do not ever pay anyone demanding money for old loans with this company. Trust me as I made the mistake taking one. They are 100% illegal and cannot collect, sue, or damage credit.

In September of 2011 I received an online loan of $300.00 from Ameriloan wired to my account at my credit union. When the loan came due, payment was rejected due to credit union closing my account. My paycheck was source of funds and I was not receiving a salary. Ameriloan demanded payment with late fee of $400 plus. In December of 2011 since I did not have a bank account they instructed me to purchase a Green Dot card for the amount due and email details so they can take payment off the card. I did this. As far as I was concerned the loan was paid off.

3 years later with no prior notice, I began receiving lawsuit threats for an unpaid loan balance. When I replying asking for details I was told via email that the loan was made to my current bank account. There was no such deposit to my account. I replied that I did not owe this. After much email and finally a telephone call which informed me that the loan in question was the one made back in 2011, and now the amount demanded in court would be over $1,000.00. I was given the chance to pay back $786 plus change to make this nightmare go away. I agreed, as it would cost more to contest this in court.

They tried selling the debt to other collection companies and the money owed was discharged in bankruptcy, which I have proof. Thinking on suing company for my time and aggravation. They put it with another company. Their email is and phone number is 16179390057.

I got a call on a loan I took out in 2009 for 300.00 dollars that didn't pay back. They said I didn't take out 300.00. I took out 200.00 and paid back Ameriloan 605.00 for the 200. What a rip off for one and I didn't take out 300.00 either. I had my bank go back for me and print it off. And here it is 2015, they claimed they couldn't get the money out. They read off my last digits to my bank acct. number. What to do, change the acct? Now at a loss.

I applied today for a loan 4/27/15. I input all my personal information, SS, banking etc. Their site went down right after I hit enter! I feel like a fool right now after hearing they went down, out of business. I don't know if I just got screwed or what? Time will tell but I think I am contacting my bank and let them know what happened. Wish me luck!

These people just called and threatened me for money. I have never taken a loan from them.. I only took pd loans with two other companies and paid them off right away..I just called them back when I READ THE REVIEWS AND CURSED THEM OUT AND TOLD THEM TO NEVER THREATEN ME AGAIN..EVEN TELLING ME TO GET A LAWYER, THEY ARE TAKING ME TO COURT..I TOLD THEM TO BRING IT ON..She hung up on me ...They are scammers trying to get money from..the only thing I was concerned about is she knew the bank I use..Could another company have been bought out by them...Anyway I paid off any loan I ever had..18887200162 - this is the number they called me from..

I was called by some people saying that I got a loan for 300 dollars in 2012. They say that every time they went to my bank account to retrieve their payment, the money was never there. Now they want me to pay them 581.19. I have never heard of these people. Why are they trying to sue me now after they say I've owed them for two years. How am I paying my bills if there is never any money in my account?!

    Original review: Sept. 29, 2014

I took out a loan with them at the end of 2012 and paid them off, no problem. Then I needed a second loan in the beginning of 2013 of $300.00, unfortunately I lost half of the funds I had coming in, so as I had three other loans I was paying I went to work with a payday loan consolidation firm. The firm was able to work with the other lenders and pay off those loans. Not so with Ameriloan, they have sold the loan to another group and have dragged their feet for months! Do not use Ameriloan ever!

I took a loan from Ameriloan two years ago. Now I am getting a phone call from a lawyers agency saying that this company is going to take me to court and file charges against me for fraud because supposedly I did not pay off this loan. This loan was paid off within 2 months original date. This company is nothing but a scam.

Borrowed funds thinking I would be charged service fees and principal balance of the loan, these folks charged a ridiculous amount of money, TAKING ADVANTAGE of people in desperate need. Call your state reps, FBI, BBB, FTC. This is criminal. Notice you can't get anything in writing from AMERILOAN!

I had went and received a 200 dollar loan and I repaid them 60.00 a month for 5 months. Well this wasn't going towards the loan though and now they are saying that I still owe them 290 dollars after the fact. I am not giving them no more. They are nuts! I will go elsewhere!

I have paid them in full and the company still wants more money.

I got a $150 loan ... They were supposed to take only once a month out of my bank and took twice a month bouncing my account! Then I had to revoke authorization because they would not stop....Then, I went into a hardship and they would not work with me... They have charged me $150 to $270... That's what they say interest was ... but they first said it was $45 a month interest until paid off? Now I have talked to several workers, supervisor, etc. and they call me at least once a day! Asking me for money after I tell them I am not working and on welfare, cannot even pay my lights or groceries every month and after I tell them... they have the nerve to ask for money again... They don't even listen! This is a flimflam!!!!! Do not deal with these people... Can I get them for harassment?

I have never had a bad experience with Ameriloan until now. I was recently granted a loan from them and as the last couple of payments were due, I began to receive a deluge of phone calls from them. They left msgs asking me to return the call. I thought to myself "why should I return the call when the loan will be paid off?" After several msgs, I finally called and to my surprise I was told that I would need to pay with my credit card because they were no longer able to deduct from my acct. I thought this was ODD, and after mulling it over, I complied and paid it off. I need another loan and tried to reapply and keep getting ERROR msgs. What's the deal??

I was in need of cash when my paycheck fell short due to my high risk pregnancy. I had to be on bed rest for a month. Bills piled up and I was short on money. I applied for a loan with Ameriloan for $300. It had an interest payment of $90 per pay period. Very expensive but in need of cash due to my situation at that time. After 2 pay periods of $90 coming out of my account, I opted to pay in full and got the runaround and no returned phone calls. But I guess when I applied for this loan it gave other companies the okay to piggyback this loan and add an additional $300 to my account but by another company. So instead of me having only one loan to manage, I had two.

Now it was two different companies taking out fees in addition to the obligations of the loan I was now responsible for. $90 times two plus an extra $60 for processing the payment. Unreal. I couldn't believe this was happening. I closed my bank account and tried to settle with Ameriloan to solve this issue, but ended up paying another fraudulent company a $200 installment who was misrepresenting Ameriloan. Then the other company called and said I was being investigated for fraud because they no longer had access to my account. I didn't authorize this loan to begin with and shouldn't be liable for their mistake or intentions to take advantage of poor individuals seeking help. Never again.

I borrow $600.00 from them and I have been paying them constantly. From June 10, 2013 I have been paying them. This loan is now $1650.00. When I called them for explanation and to send me how much I have paid so far, they told me that they do not give out that information. However, they will be having someone call me constantly until I have paid them off. I spoke to a Dorothy. Payment so far is $995.00 and is still going.

I took out a loan for $250 with Ameriloan a couple months ago and have no problem until just recently... I was in the "paydown" mode where along with the finance charge they deduct and additional $50 from the principal balance. I received a phone call stating that their ACH was down and they would no longer be able to debit my account and that I could break my balance into 2 payments and either pay by credit card/debit card, check, money order or Western Union.

I give a verbal agreement with her stating that she would send me an email with our new arrangement. HOWEVER, I never received an email. I have called a couple of times requesting something in writing since the new arrangement is outside of the original signed contract yet she states they cannot re-send emails?? Re-send? I never received the first one and WHY can they not re-send an email contract? Sounds fishy to me and I am hesitant to send any money without a contractual agreement. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions or insight?? Please help!

Ameriloan has taken $295.00 over what they should have taken out of my account and I have yet to be reimbursed my money. As of yet, $200 was deducted by Ameriloan on Sept 16. I called and asked why I wasn't finish yet, to only be given the running around. The rep advised me another scheduled payment of $200 was to be deducted on my next payday. I totally lost it. I was placed on hold to be informed that I had over paid $295 and they wouldn't be able to place my money in my account but would have to mail me a check that would take 14 business days. Are you for real? They are having a problem crediting account with their hch server.

It's now Sept. 27. I still don't have my money, and am also scheduled for them to take more money out of my account on my next payday. This is a horrible company and am contacting all of my state representative to have them banned from this state and more, if possible. If you are in a tight for cash, I would please advise another company other than Ameriloan.

On August 1st I called customer service to make sure my payment was going to be deducted on the 5th of the month instead of the third because I did not know if my deposit would be in on the 3rd since it was a Saturday. I spoke with a gentleman named Chris at ext **. He said it would be deducted on Monday 5, 2013. He also told me I had two payments left one Sept 3 for 192 and another for $204 October 3. I informed him that I had three payments left 192 for August 5, 192 for Sept 3 and 192 for October 3. I told him I was so upset with Ameriloan because I got my loan in December 2012 and I have paid $1500 for a $500.00 loan and when this was paid I was making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. He informed me he could not talk to me anymore, that he would turn me over to compliance. I informed him that I was going to pay the bill but I did not owe the last 204.00. He then asked me to hold until he talked with his manager. He came back on line and said a mistake was made and I only owed 192 for Sept and 192 for Oct. I told him that was fine and my payment would be made on the 5th.

The next day I checked my account and 192 was taken out of my account for Ameriloan. This was the second not the 5th as was authorized but the 2nd. I called Ameriloan to ask why and they said they could not give me any information because my account had been turned over to compliance and it was closed. They informed me the only ones that could help me was the compliance dept and gave me the address as I am still trying to get this resolved. If my account was closed and sent to compliance on the 1st why was a payment of 192 taken out of my account on the 2nd? Isn't this illegal and I am unable to find out why or cannot talk to anyone about my account. What are they planning next? Thank you. Please help me.

August 2012, I took out a $650 loan with Ameriloan. My first payment was $195 for 9/12, $195 for 10/12, and $195 for 11/12. I asked for an extension for the December payment so no payment. They granted it but I was debited $230 for 01/13, $245 for 02/13, $230 for 03/13, $215 for 04/13, and $200 for 05/13. I had paid $1705 total, so I STOPPED PAYMENT for June 2013. I got an email stating my payment had not cleared and to call them. Got email with my log-in and password. Also got calls, I ignored them. Sent them an email saying I have overpaid loan. In message, I said I had instructed my bank to Stop Payment for June [which was to be $182.00]. I also said I was making a complaint with the FTC and Consumer Affairs. I had what the FTC had to say too.

Then I got this email: "Your account balance is $735.00 as of 06-19-2013*. Your next due date is 08-31-2012 for $0.00. To view your account balance in the future, you may visit our website at"

I called Ameriloan. The person asked me if I wanted to schedule a payment. I said no and why. He gave me the email for and fax to send my email I had sent to So I'll do that. It won't do any good, I think.

I called MoneyMutual to get a $800 loan. They said my credit score wasn't good. I only could get $150. I asked how much do I have to pay back total? The lady told me $300. I only agreed to it because of the low score, and my lights and gas needed to be paid quick. Now, if I was told that I had to pay $470 back -- I wouldn't have agreed to it.

They started taking two payments out in one day. After I added the $300, I started balancing out for the bills to be taken out of my account. Ameriloan took another $95 out of my account and it wasn't planned, for the gas bill a month is $144. I was penalized $36 for both. I had to borrow to get that paid. If you're going to back the thieves up, don't you feel that everyone who borrows should know that they have to pay back four times their loan amount? Threatening with phone calls because I closed the account and demanding $95 more is robbery. I asked someone to borrow for me, and he was only approved of $300, but they took $1,200 from him. I only get $823 from disability a month. Why should I give overpayment to greed when I have to live? Not fair.

Well I got involved with Ameriloan on Christmas 2012. I needed a little money until my next payday. I was contacted by phone by Ameriloan (after I asked for my loan) saying they needed more information before they could approve me, which didn't give me time to read over their contract. Their service rep I spoke with on that day told me there was a $90 fee for the loan. She made no mention of the $90 being a renewal fee every month. Had I known this upfront, I would have told them to forget it. I just recently discovered that I had been taken by these wonderful human beings after my four payments were over. I was thinking I only had $30 left to pay them.

I urge anyone needing a payday loan to avoid this company like the plague. I think what all of us should do is get together and file a class action suit against their deceptive practices and overcharge fees. Also, you should contact your state senators and tell them there needs to be more government regulations on how much interest these companies can charge people using their loan services. Good luck to everyone who has had a bad experience with this company. Please warn everyone you know or post a warning online on your Facebook page or any other site you may be involved with. The more people we warn, the better the chance we can do this company some personal damage like they did us. Thanks.

Dishonored agreement - I took a loan out due to an emergency. My pay date is and always has been every other Friday. Ameriloan started removing funds two days prior to my pay period - costing me excessive overdraft fees. I contacted them and they did not correct the issue. As of today, I have paid them $855.00 in loan payments. It cost me $280.00 in overdraft fees and their website says I still owe them $380.00. Don't deal with these people. They are predatory and will not accept telephone calls.

On 8/2/12, I applied for and received a loan for $500.00. The total amount with fees is $650.00. On 8/16/12, they withdrew $150.00. I checked my balance and it still says $650.00 and I am thinking it should be $500.00. I contacted Ameriloan ASAP. The only responses I am getting are on my loan documents. I contacted the compliance department and still no response. I cannot even log into my account. I need to know what is going on. I have submitted a complaint with the Attorney General’s office and BBB. The BBB shows there is a Government action against them at this time.

A website called sent me a notice with a confirmation number on it stating that I was pre-approved for a "fast cash" loan. It was back in January and with my husband being disabled, I was a bit strapped for cash. My daughter needed books for college. I applied online for a $500 loan and it was approved. I downloaded a contract that read that my payoff would be $650. Well to date, Ameriloan has taken $1,155.00 from my checking account. The website says I still owe $455! I really need help with this. When I tried to call the 800 number given on the website, I was just given the runaround and they were trying to scam me again telling me I won something!

I took out a payday loan of $350.00 and I was supposed to only pay back $450.00. They've been taking out of my checking account over three thousand dollars already. Payday loan ripoff.
