I requested a copy of my vehicle title in order to register it in another state. After a month of being told they were waiting on the title, they discovered no one had ever requested it. They then assured me they would overnight to me within a few days. A few weeks later I found out they have still not done their job, and again they assured me it will be "overnighted". I advise against using this company, since they are unable to process simple requests directly related to their business.
I have to admit, I should've did my research on this company before signing for my auto loan. OK so first of all, I was late a couple of times on my payment, yet still under 30 days. I paid the late fee with my payment but every month I still owed more. Well I found out that you must call to say the overage amount is supposed to be applied for late fees!! Otherwise they just apply it to interest & put it back in their pockets! Any company I dealt with in the past has applied that overage amount to late fees or principal. Also apparently if you have an Internet connection problem, there's a glitch in their system which deducts 2 payments if you're not careful. I had to contact my bank & enter a dispute to retrieve a duplicate payment. I was told their system could not reverse the payment which was complete **... because my bank had it reversed! I'll never do business with this incompetent establishment again. I'd rather go to buy here pay here 1st.... At least their customer service don't suck!
This has got to be the worst experience of my financial life... I posted a payment 2x by accident and they automatically refunded the over payment I made. However, Alphera pulled another payment out of $550.00 and refused to refund the money to back to me. Therefore, I have no rent money to pay my rent. I explained to them that I live paycheck to paycheck and have a small child at home. Of course they did not care. Kayla and TJ were the worst reps on the phone. They do not make you feel like you are being taken care of in any way. I had never been late on a payment or ever missed a payment and they could not even take that into consideration. I also will be having my lawyer contact this company. I have used small banks and NEVER had this issue. THE WORST BANK TO GO THROUGH - PLEASE DO NOT BE SCAMMED LIKE I WAS!! NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY AT ALL... Jerks they are!!!
I lost my job and I told Alphera about the situation and my significant other was helping me with my bills. So basically, I was going through a financial hardship. Alphera told me they will work with me as long as I keep in contact with them. So I did. When I finally got a job and let them know about my situation, they repoed my car after they said they were going to work with me. So they lied to me. I kept in contact with them, letting them know what was going on and now my car is gone and I have no transportation back and forth to work and can't get my kids back and forth to school. I have to depend on their father and he works two jobs and it's hard on him. Because he will be late for work. I feel that they were unfair. And my kids' father was trying to help me make those payments but he has his own bills to pay.
I was putting him in a bad spot. So I call them and let them know what my situation was. They didn't call me or write me a letter letting me know that they are picking up the car. I have been calling them, trying to get my car back and they having been giving me a runaround. So please, don't do business with this company because they are liars. Because they knew my circumstances and they said they would work with me until I found a job and put my payments on the back end. Now my car is gone.
When I first went to the Hyundai dealership, I requested to use my credit union. They blew that request off, assigned me to Alphera. I was unhappy with them from day one. I explained that I am in the middle of medical issues and would like to push my payment back. In the meantime, they hit my account twice for the payment causing overdrafts. I had to call and fight for them to reimburse me and to apologize to my credit union as my account was clearly noted not to post the EFT until after the 18th. After all this aggravation, I went to my credit union and got a much lower rate. They sent the pay off check according to what they were told was due and today I received a letter stating I owe additional money. They will not release my title to the correct lien holder, my credit union.

I got a starch off ticket. I was told to go to the car dealer with the ticket. After I went, they ran my credit and told me I was qualify for a car. They gave me a car for $35,000 and I pay $600 per month for six months. They said they would refinance the loan. After the six months, I went back to the dealer to refinance and they told me that due to recession, I can't refinance it. I could not afford this payment so I called the bank. They told me I should take it back to the dealer, which I did. Now they are telling me I should pay $14,000 of which I still can't afford. I would like to see what you can do to assist me with this matter.
And it is the consumers fault and they begrudgingly agreeded to refunded the $12 for the copy of the money order, after much arguing on my part. They will not adjust the extra interest I was charged through this as, according to them, I am the quilty party. Buyer Beware! Never did I receive any contact from the company through this, I had to contact them. They are not consumer friendly! I am now in the process of contacting my congressman for help on this matter.
