Concorde Career College was down the street from where I was living. Since it was close by, I decided to further my studies through them. I like the small size classes. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me match up with a program. All of them were great but Robert was my favorite. He always had these words of wisdom and always knew what to say. Overall, I had a good experience with Concorde. It's a good school.

My sister-in-law was attending Concorde and she spoke very highly of the school and the teachers. I also liked that they were able to cater to evening classes. So, I enrolled with them. I was a criminologist major then I decided to make the switch and try and go for a nursing career. So, I tried to be a medical assistant. One of my teachers at Concorde really cared about her students and made an effort to make sure they were understanding everything. Overall, Concorde is a great school to go to and be a part of.

I wanted to go to school to be a surgical tech and Concorde Career College was the only one in Denver that was open and the only one that was accredited. But, I would never go back. It was the worst 18 months of my life. I paid $30,000 but I didn’t even get an associate. Whoever was in charge when I went to Concorde was a horrible human. I lost an uncle and went into her office, and she said that if I took any days off for the funeral, I would be kicked out. Also, I was late twice as it took me over an hour to get to school every day and they told me they were gonna kick me out. So it was constantly a threat after threat after threat.

The teachers were awesome, but the higher-up staff was awful. A teacher named Wendy was really nice and she helped us, and then the management pretty much forced her to quit. And then they had Mike quit because he didn’t have a certain degree that they wanted but he was the best teacher. They had another lady, Deb, quit since she didn’t have a certain degree as well. Also, there was one girl in my class who they talked into quitting. She had burns from when she was in middle school and they told her that she would have to scrub every day and her skin was just gonna get too raw and told her that there was no other way. She needed to leave and then she still had to pay for it. Now, every time I talk to someone, I refuse to have them go to Concorde because there are other places that are available. Concorde is outrageously priced for what you get and the staff there is awful.

I heard about Concorde Career College from my friend and I went there because I heard it was hands-on and I learn better that way. They matched me with a program. Some of their staff members have been there for us telling what we can do and gave a couple of strategies to study and told us about how it is after you graduate and you start working. But unfortunately, I haven't found a job, so I'm not using none of it, and I feel like it was not worth it for me to go there because I'm not using it. I paid a lot of money for it, but it's a waste of time. In two years, I don’t have a job so I'm not using my experience. The experience at Concorde was good, but they have no guarantee of job.

I’m glad I went through Concorde. It was a really great experience with them. I wanna be in the health field and I wanted to go more into surgical tech, and both of my medical assistants, one from my first three months and one from my last months, were meaningful for me in my journey. I felt like they wanted me to be a medical assistant because they were medical assistants themselves and they wanted people in the health field to do their best. I’m in the field now and working as a medical assistant.

I was trying to find a better career than what I was doing and with Concorde, it wouldn’t take that long to get the degree. It is a fast-paced school. I researched to see what I might wanna do, then I went in there and told them which department I was gonna study in and that department was great. I never understood fractions until I got to the classes of the instructors for the pharmacy technician program. Both of them were able to teach very well. Pay attention and don't assume you know what the instructors are talking about. Take the information in because they came into play when I went you go out on your internship.

Concorde had a physical therapy assisting program which was what I was looking into and they were able to sign me up quickly. I went there looking at that program and I was signed up in dental assisting later that day. I liked all my instructors and nothing about my experience was difficult at all. The instructors basically read us the textbooks and we had a worksheet that was geared towards a three-year-old. Then the tests were also not difficult. I feel like they didn't put a whole lot of effort into the curriculum and there were a few times in the lab where I questioned my teachers. So, there were some things that could be better but I couldn't be mad at it because it did what it claimed to do.

They do the best they can at Concorde but working in the fields and going to school are two very different things. So, Concorde will get you to a job but you're kinda on your own after that, so make sure that that job is what you want to do. For me, I made an impulse decision to do dental assisting and then paid for it. I was hired on to a place that I shadowed at then on the same day, they sold the practice and sold me with it pretty much. I have done dental assisting for less than a month and I was the only assistant for three dentists working seven to eight hours with no lunch. It was a mess and sometimes it was bad.

But I loved that place. It was beautiful and the employees were all female who were very supportive and were encouraging me to go back to school. They also helped me navigate my job. But when they sold the practice, they offended everybody so they all quit. And I didn't have anywhere else to go so I stayed. After that, I was not even sure if I really wanted to do dental assisting or not. But after I got the job, it was where my correspondence with Concorde ended which I don't blame them for. They also didn't really reach out much after that. I'm off to university now but before I fully quit dental assisting and decided to go in a completely direction, I went back to Concorde and talked to one of the job placement people there. And I don't know if I got lost in the email list or something but it worked out for the better because I didn't want to stay in dental assisting.

I was amused to live in Tennessee and I decided that I wanted to make a change, so I looked up schools online and asked questions to my other friends that have moved to the area. What I like about Concorde Career College is I'm hands on. I knew that I wanted to do Medical Assistance and I decided that I wanted to do nursing as well. I had an instructor who was meaningful in my journey. At first, I hoped I would never have special class because everyone was saying that she’s mean and it's gonna be harder. I only had her for a week, but it was so much stuff that she caught up and she didn't have to be firm the way she showed that she cared. If we didn't show up, she'd call and she made sure that we took our test even if we missed the day. She showed us that she wanted us to succeed.

Their motivation at Concorde helped me become successful. It was so good because I only set at home for two weeks. My baby was two weeks old and I was missing school and I went back the exact day that she turned two weeks old. I would tell my friends to not go for Medical Assisting, although the school itself is very experienced. I would like Concorde to improve their financial aid. The people working for them are very rude.

Now that I am out of school, it is so hard for us to get a job. Everyone wants experience and I remember that they told us that it's gonna be hard to get a job without certification. I am certified, but it's still hard for me to get it done. It's even harder now than it was then and I don't even get called for interview. They said that they could help us get a job, but if they spoke with Doctors or the Human Resource department at the job that they have connections with and let them know that we're not gonna have experience because we're fresh out of school. How can we have experience if no one would give us a chance? They said that they send out our resume. It was only two of us that got certified. The people who were not certified have jobs, while I and the other girl don't have jobs.

I heard about Concorde Career College from my brother and I liked the environment there. I wasn’t sure of what course or medical field I wanted to enter and Concorde gave me the opportunity to explore all of them. I originally wanted to do a course in Radio Technology, but they said there was no opening and the class was about to start, so they got me into an MA. Jodie and Mallory were really helpful to me in my journey at Concorde. They were easy to communicate with on any issues and they helped out if I had any questions. Asking as many questions as possible and not procrastinating in the online courses that you’re in would help you to be a successful student at Concorde.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Edwin,

Love that you came in with an opening mind and a willing spirit! Thanks for your shoutout to Mallory and Jodie. We'll be sure to pass that along!

Excellent insight about not procrastinating. With an accelerated program like the ones at Concorde, being organized and on-top of things is a must.

Happy to have you as part of the alumni family!

I like the way the Concorde campus was set up. The people there were really nice and willing to help. Everything went good. I'd recommend Concorde Career College. The students just need to pay attention knowing that it's their career that they'd be working.

I had a family crisis so I had to stop going to school for a while. Now, I've decided it's time for me to do something with my career, so I decided to do Medical Assistance. My friend attended Concorde Career College and I asked her how she liked it. Their school hours worked with me in my job from 8:00 to 1:00 and it was very convenient. It's a nice school and the instructors are good. When I needed to learn different things, I had to stay after school and Ms. G spent time and made me feel that it was okay if I was a little slower than others. She helped a lot and that means a lot to me trying to learn different things.

To succeed here, it takes a lot of determination and a lot of heart where you have to be dedicated in order to get through the program. If you feel like this is something that you wanna do and know you wanna better yourself in life, it's easy. So far, everything went well. I'd tell others to go in first and talk to the counselor to make sure there's stuff there that you want to do and if they do, they'll give you a rundown of the different curriculum. One of my friends I went to school with at Concorde started doing Medical Assistance, but she switched to Pharmacy Tech in the middle. So, it would have been great if she had known exactly what she wanted to do. I would recommend Concorde Career College.

Concorde Career College is a great school. I chatted with Yvonne, who was really nice and friendly. She made me feel at home. She also helped me with the student loan, which made the payment easier. I enrolled in the dental assistant program. I never spoke English before so it was hard to speak like my instructor. They are really amazing. They supported me very well and helped when I needed it. And recently, they just offered me a job. I'd tell friends that once they graduate from Concorde Career College, they would know everything about whatever they chose to know. I can see graduates from others schools and they don’t know what we know.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Jacklien,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences! We'll definitely pass your kudos on to Yvonne. That will make her day!

I didn't want to be in school long plus I wanted to get in the medical field too. I also knew that I wanted to do medical assisting. My uncle went to Concorde in the past so I decided to try there. One of the instructors at Concorde talked to the class in a fun way. Overall, I recommend Concorde. To be successful there, one must be ahead and on one's toes.

Concorde Career College response

Studying at Concorde was the quickest route I had at the time I was living in Florida and was trying to find a job. Also, I was in the military and Concorde accepted my GI Bill so that was a good fit for me. The classes there were excellent and the teachers were very educational. They were very polite, always organized and had answers to all your questions. One of my first professors was very sweet and kind to everyone. Everything was straightforward. I like helping people and I studied to be a medical assistant then graduated with high honors.

Concorde has helped my future and I was very satisfied with them. They were very welcoming and it was a very nice experience for me to be able to help people and further my career in something that I wanted to do. They help you update your resume and they put you in jobs that are actually hiring people. When I was sent to a place that was hiring, I got hired on the spot. Now, I'm gonna be starting to become a nurse in the summer.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Vanessa,

First and foremost, thank you for your service! We're proud to help service members and veterans transfer their skills and leadership into a career they love.

So proud that you were hired on the spot! That says so much about your character, skills and preparation.

Thanks again for sharing! Stay in touch!

I was thinking for a while to continue with my education. The time of the program was short and it appealed to me. I didn't have to go to the prerequisite stuff because it took a long time and I didn't have that time so I decided to go to Concorde. I wanted something in the health area and there were people that helped me along. I would tell my friends that the program is short if you are looking for something to finish quickly but you have to pay a lot of money. It was a good program and to be successful, I studied hard. It was an essential experience for me and I’m happy that I took the program.

If you really wanna go to Concorde, go for it. Their instructors, program director, and most of the whole staff were very friendly. I talked to them, asked them questions, and they made sure I got the help I needed. In fact, both of my instructors helped pretty much as far as learning and making sure that I knew everything. And if I didn't, they would try to reach out and help to do whatever they could for me to understand the whole subject.

I was in between Concorde and Keiser and when I went to Concorde’s campus and met all the advisers, it felt like a very homey feeling. Everyone was really welcoming, sweet and helpful. I also liked the fact that it was an accelerated program in Concorde. I devoted all my time to studying every single day as I was a 100% full-time student. There were two instructors that taught me so much and until this day, their classes have helped me out so much in my job. I'd advise my friends to go for Concorde, although they have to be careful because Concorde isn't regionally accredited. I ended up going back to school as none of my credits from Concorde would transfer over. But it’s okay because most of my prerequisites from another school were transferred over, so it wasn’t really a problem.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for sharing! We love that you described Concorde as "homey."

We realize that our student will spend a lot of time with us and do our best to make it an environment that fosters growth, both personally and professionally.

Regarding the transfer of credits, the accepting school is the one who determines the transferability. The U.S. Department of Education has said, in the past, that accreditation should not be the sole reason that credits do not transfer. We are very clear in our campus catalog about transfer credits and that students should check with the institution before beginning a program. We're happy to hear that the one you chose worked out with your past education history!

Thanks again for sharing! If you're ever in the area, come by and see us!

My job wasn't great when I was living in the town and country area so I thought taking medical office administration would be a good fit for me. I enjoyed my teacher at Concorde Career College and she was pretty thorough. She was sweet, made sure everybody was understanding everything and she was always there for us if we had any questions. On the other hand, I did poorly on oral essays since I didn't like it and I have a major fear of speaking in front of people. Otherwise, everything else was a good experience. I put 110% until I did really well. I never missed a day, I listened and did the work, and studied hours every day when I got home. I was able to get straight A's through the entire process and then after that I got jobs pretty quickly. Having my education at Concorde Career College on my resume helped a lot.

Concorde had the program I was looking for and I find their small classes and on hand training appealing. When I went there, I knew what I wanted to do and my instructor assisted me through my journey. I studied and took notes to be a successful student there, and if a friend asks me about them, I’d say it’s the school to go to if he knows what field he wants to go in.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Antonio,

So glad that Concorde was a home that helped accelerate your dreams of working in health care!

If you're ever in the area, stop by campus! We love visiting with alumni.

The key to being a successful student is self-discipline but that had nothing to do with the school. Although I enrolled in Concorde due to the length of their program, I would not recommend them to anybody else due to the cost. As I’ve compared it to other preparatory programs and the people that I’ve worked for, when I see the type of education they received versus what Concorde gives, Concorde sucks.

I was a 4.0 student, I did my homework and I studied for my test, but I didn’t have to do any of that. I could have gone through the program and not turned in any homework or never showed up for class and I would have still graduated. All they cared about was the end product. “Okay. You’ve graduated. Now go take your board. And if you pass, then no big deal off our skin because you’re on your own. You’re done with the program.” However, I had one instructor who was a good mentor, not just a teacher.

Knowledge-wise, I wasn't prepared for the workforce. Everything that I had gotten out of that college was because I did it myself. It wasn’t that Concorde was a great successful college. They didn't have a great program, standards nor teachers. It was a matter of me taking my books and reading it. I see some of the new students that come in and they’re three times ahead of me on knowledge because we didn’t get that. We’re supposed to have a clinical person come out to our areas to teach us, but I was never in a group. I was always by myself and I’m always on the night shift. They come out, spend ten minutes and go. They never really showed me anything. Personally, it sucked. It’s the worst $47,000 I’ve ever spent.

I know that for some schools, it’s so hard to enroll it makes you not want to go. I had been working and Concorde was easy to enroll in so that appealed to me and then, the admission counselor helped me decide on what to study. I was split between different programs and she just gave me a lot of statistics on which one would be better. She also based it off of my admission exam. My program director, Ms. Kathleen, also helped me push through a lot of the difficulties I was having. She worked with me a lot to make sure I can complete the program.

But it wasn’t a great experience when I finished. It was really hard getting help from graduate employment. A staff was available but I just feel like she helped some people more than she helped others. I’m at a large university hospital right now in Birmingham and I feel more than prepared. I wasn’t scared. Clinical prepared me and the classroom prepared me. But I feel like like I wasn’t as prepared to enter the job market. It’s not even the skills. A lot of people don’t even know this is my first job because it was such a smooth transition. It was just hard searching for a job and getting the help building my resume. It should be an ongoing process instead of at the end, trying to compile a resume. It should be something that is done from the beginning and worked on throughout. Because at the end, trying to figure out where I was to clinical, what month I was there and what I did there. It was just overwhelming and stressful.

I did some research because I was ready to go back to school and Concorde Career College was one of the first ones that I came across that seemed easy to get into. After my first interview, I was into the nursing program that they had and that was nice because I know a lot of places where we have to wait. My experience with Concorde Career College was okay, but it was very unorganized and choppy, and the teachers weren’t all that great. Part of it was they switched administrators halfway through, so the classes and the teachers got disorganized, as well as the schedule in general.

There were a couple of people though that were really good and straight and on point with what they were doing. However, they taught more to pass the test at the end of the course rather than teaching nursing things. They were more focused on having us passing the exit exam than anything else. But I bust my butt and did it. I’m satisfied with my experience with Concorde Career College.

I started looking at Carrington College and then I wanted to explore options. I’m really choosy, and I started Googling and realized Carrington was inside of a mall while Concorde had its own campus. I didn’t want to be around a bunch of people in a mall and going to school, so I decided to go to Concorde. I wanted to be a nurse and go really far into the medical field and better myself, but I've always had a really big fear of needles and blood and I’ve always been squeamish. It contradicted what my dreams were, so I wanted to just get my feet wet and see if I really had it in me to do the things that I will be doing if I advance myself in the healthcare field. Being a medical assistant, I found it would be a good way to test the waters in that and that’s what I did.

All of the people at Concorde were really great. Yohan was really funny, and he made learning enjoyable and it helped engage me because of his humor. Anita was also nice and cool. I actually go to university now, working on my nursing degree, and I found that it's way tougher and you have to have so much more motivation. Whereas at a career college, it’s a little bit given to you and the information is very obvious. You don’t have to work as hard to find answers. Overall, if others want an entry-level position where they will be comfortable staying for a long time, then going to Concorde would be a really good option for them. But, I wouldn’t have gone with Concorde had I needed to get those clinical skills under my belt just to see if I had that in me.

I was in the middle of trying to transfer from North Carolina out this way and I was looking for a program that I will be able to get into and Concorde Career College was one of the faster ones, so I picked it up or at least tried to see what was going on with it. I didn’t quite know what I needed to make myself competitive when I was trying to apply the first time and within the first time. The second time that I applied, luckily, I’ve been able to stick it out through most of the terms. They had me go through the MA program first so that I had some kind of background and then I was able to get into the PTA program.

One of the teachers made the class one for the most part of the MA program and she was action-oriented so it made it a lot easier for me and then the other teacher takes a lot of time outside of the required amount of time to sit down with the students and help us understand theories that we may not quite grasp entirely. They are the two best instructors. Since I have a military background, I have a more hands-on approach to the most ways that I’m on as well as an audio-visual thing, so just being able to listen to the teachers for the most part go through and then being able to act everything out and piece them together in a more real world type environment is extra helpful for me.

In the MA program, there was a student teacher drama that was occurring during my course and ended up in course correction in the middle of it which made it a little more distracting that what I would’ve liked. But with the PTA program, I haven’t had any issues and I’d recommend Concorde to friends. I’ll tell them to be wary about things if they were to dive into a program that they didn’t really know much about because they do move very quickly.

I live right around Concorde and I wanted to go there for RN. When I submitted my application, however, they forced me to do a Medical Assistant course first. Then when I was going into the class and chatting with most of the classmates, I learned that most of them were going into the RN but were forced into the Medical Assistant. That was one thing that I did not like about Concorde. Also, that makes no sense because if we want to do the RN later on, having the Medical Assistant diploma does not help at all. It's wrong that Concorde does that because that's money we don't have to spend. Nevertheless, the classes at Concorde, at least for medical assistant, are very easy and the teachers help out a lot. We had two different teachers and I still keep in touch with one of them because she was amazing.

I’m also always seeing the commercials on TV and I went to the school one day to see how it was and I signed up. All of the instructors helped a lot and if you missed something, they called to see if anything or what was going on. I had to work at 2:30 and even though I drove back and forth from Blytheville, Arkansas to Memphis, Tennessee, I was able to get there on time. It was dedication that made me successful. I’m a single parent and I maintained the 4.0 and perfect attendance. Concorde was a good school and I was thinking about going back to get my REN. It’s a great school and I'm also trying to get one of my best friends to go there to pursue her career.

I wanted to do the certification at the time that I decided to go to Concorde Career College and for the most part, the experience was good. I liked my lab teacher and one of my clinical sites was with my instructor so that was helpful and she taught me a lot. But while I was in school, Concorde was in the process of switching to the associates program and I felt like they did a lot of experimental stuff on my class to get ready for associates. That could’ve been better if it was more focused on our class as an individual instead of just thinking of what can make the future classes better and what’s tested out on them.

My clinical experience wasn’t a good match because it was an hour and a half commute so that was tough. Then, during the job placement, they kept me up-to-date about jobs in the area but it was nothing that I was looking for so I went on with my own search. But I love the job that I’m at now. I’m very passionate about it and that played a big role in my success. Concorde is very fast paced, but they work with your schedule. They have different class times, so if somebody is working, then it can be done.

I decided to go back to school to do something else beside from what I have. I always drive by Concorde Career College and it is a very good school. I took the Pharmacy Technician program, which takes 6 months to be completed. My teachers were very nice and helpful, and I like that they don't stop helping until they get you. When I first got there, I didn't know much and they always guided me. I love them. After finishing the program, they also helped me get a job. Others should try out Concorde, too.

I have always wanted to be in the medical field and at the time, advancing my education through Concorde was the perfect program. The program was short-term and worked with my schedule. I really loved all their hands-on stuff. I’m a fast learner so I loved how everything was so fast-paced there. I was looking into their LPN program, the nursing program there, but I didn’t know it was a full-time program so I can’t do that one. The staff at Concorde asked me if I wanna try their MA classes. They talked to me about that and within a week, I was at their orientation. The admissions team helped me with the financial aid. My dad was in the military so they helped me fill out all that paperwork. One staff member really spent a lot of the time with me and talked to me about each program. I told him what I wanted to do, what I was interested in, and he found the perfect program for me.

I have two best friends at Concorde and we worked together to become successful. Miss Katie also helped me out a lot when I was first starting. The only thing is the teacher turnover rate while I was there was pretty great. I had three different teachers and they all had different ways of doing things. But I’ve always been the type to teach myself so it wasn’t too bad. But it was confusing when one teacher wants it done one way or they were showing us a way how to do it, and now the other teacher was showing us another way how to do it. But it wasn’t too bad. And if a friend of mine asks me about Concorde, I would recommend it. Within seven months I was done with school. I had a job straight out of school and I’m still working at my job a year later.

Some people who were going to Concorde for the MA program told me about the school, and I liked that with Concorde, students don't have to take prereqs. I went in there and asked some questions and took the test. I got called back and was accepted. Some of their clinical sites were kind of scary, though. They were really questionable as far as maybe they should have been in the building instead of a bunch of students. It was a lot of "This is the way that you do it wrong" instead of "This is the way that it should be done." Still, I had a good experience and keeping relationships with my co-classmates helped me succeed at Concorde. I would tell my friends that with any nursing school, they have to read their book. And the teachers aren't going to give them all the answers. It's a pretty decent school. It's a little expensive but there are perks and pros and cons.

My experience with Concorde was great. I've already graduated and am currently a nurse, but back then, I wanted to do something that was quick that would allow me to get my degree so I went with them. All my teachers were stellar and dedicated to their students. They made sure we understood what was necessary to be understood, and they prepared us for our boards, not just the life of a nurse. I learned how to be super diligent there and not to be afraid to ask questions. Also, if I did what they told me, I'd be fine.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Siobhan,

We love that you were able to find your passion in nursing! Many of our faculty enrich courses by drawing on their own personal experiences in the field to prepare students for, as you mentioned, life beyond the textbook.

We're so pleased that you in a position you love and doing well. If you need anything along the way - don't forget that we offer our alumni ongoing career services and support!

Thanks again!

I was looking for a school in the area, so I looked up Licensed Vocational Nurse programs and Concorde Career College popped up. I like the program that they offered and the hours were convenient for me because I worked another job, so it was able to give me the time that I was available. I had one instructor who was fantastic and the greatest instructor I've ever had. It was like coming alive when he was teaching. I made a lot of notes and made sure I was reading. I learned a lot and my instructor made my experience even better. It was incredible.

Concorde has great programs and they were fast. Also, the PFC was more helpful because it was hands-on. My experience went great. They didn't help me find my job like it was said they were supposed to, but I found a job. And my teachers gave good information and they helped me with my extern.

A friend of mine went to Concorde Career College. I was changing my career to being a Respiratory Therapist so I went to Concorde, asked and started the paperwork which took about two and half months. They are hands-on and in the internship, they have the labs and they offer tutoring which was really helpful. Mister Jim was a great help. He also offered to tutor and he was always there to help us even though we passed his course. I studied by myself after class for three hours. It’s not an easy road. You'd think that because it’s just vocational, it’s quick and in-and-out, but it’s not. You really have to study and put your all into it.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Valeria,

Thanks for taking time to share your Concorde experience! We'll certainly pass your kudos along to Mr. Jim!

We wish you nothing but continued success. If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop by. We love visiting with alumni!

I used to go to another nursing school before and coming to Concorde Career College, I realized how much of a difference it made, from the professors to the way they cared to after graduating to helping me find a job. I'd do it a million times over if I could. Two people were meaningful during my journey at Concorde. One knew I was one of the smarter guys in the class because I have experience and she pushed me to a point where I became the nurse I am today because of her. To become a successful student at Concorde I had to have perseverance. I felt like I was about to fail but I just kept going. I also had all the help, resources and overcame certain struggles. I had a great time over there.

I did my MA at Concorde in KC, MO 1991/5 star. 2017 enrolled in Concorde in Jax, FL. focus on RN Accreditation. It's not the best school, instructors changed often, instructors and staff never on same page. Lots of studying. Test given at times didn't match study subject, grades changed, policies constant changing. I'm now enrolled in the Green Light program which is suppose to teach me to understand the comprehensive questions that still make no sense to me. But put in motion supposedly to help pass the LPN NCLEX exam. It's a joke, I go to the school every week and complain about my Evolve webpage. Fast pace, confusing, hard work, no one is listening and my student loan is due. Not the best school.

I was looking into technical schools and I like the hands-on better than the regular lecture. I originally went to Concorde to discuss doing the healthcare administration program, but a rep there let me know about everything, and respiratory just at the time, seemed like a good fit so it worked out. The staff there is really good. I liked my school and my teachers, Kimberly and Dave were both good instructors and program directors. Concorde gives you everything that you need. It's just about dedicating yourself to the program because no one really understands what it's like to do 10-week classes. When you're cutting off all those extra weeks, you gotta compensate somewhere else. They definitely got that point across in admissions how it might be fast-paced and hands-on but you still have to have the dedication there.

During my last semester in Concorde, I had a good teacher, but he's no longer there. He took the time with his students and showed that he really cared.

When I moved to San Diego, I was a CNA in the State of Washington and I couldn’t transfer my license. Why not just do the BN course? I found these colleges and Concorde Career College worked with my schedule and it was opening soon and they got me right in. There were a few instructors that stood out, but a few classes were awful. The maternity class has was the worst teacher I’ve ever had in my life because she never lectured. She was hard to understand. Nothing that she lectured about was on the quizzes or the tests, so I never knew what to study. But I kinda figured her out instantly and I had to do that class all on my own. But other than that, there were great teachers like Mary. Also, there were two teachers that left who were wonderful.

A few of us students did study groups. That worked great for me, just the three of us, really small, so we could just learn. I took a lot of clinicals. I knew that I really wanted to learn a lot in clinical, so I gave that my all. I graduated in June and Concorde has been helping me find jobs, but I had to move back to the State of Washington. So, I’m screwed there. I’m in Washington right now, but I kept my California license. But they were good at helping me. They sent a lot of employers my way, which was nice. They really work on getting their graduate program better to help students find jobs. That’s gonna work out a lot for a lot of the kids for sure.

If you really want to better yourself, definitely go for Concorde, but you really have to study because it’s a fast-paced program. The lady who’s in charge of the program is very hard to communicate with. She’s kinda rude, so you just have to take it with a grain of salt. Also, every day you’re getting a quiz. It’s not a joke and it’s expensive but I’m glad I did it.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Lisa,

Glad that you found a study group and a pace that worked for you in the program!

We're definitely committed to providing on-going career service support for our graduates - it's all about helping find the right career fit for you.

I have looked online for a Dental Assisting school and I found about Concorde Career College. It was the first school I went to see and I talked to them about everything. They also helped match me up with their program. I went to the San Antonio campus. The Program Director, Mr. Al and Mari helped me a lot. I was pregnant at that time and I went through that. They were there along the whole journey and helping me get back into school and checking up on me. It was a good program and for what I was doing, Concorde was quick compared to other schools. And I've recommended Concorde a few times.

I looked into furthering my education for a better job and a better pay, and Concorde Career College was better than other places and it looked more professional. I was interested in Medical Assisting, but if I had learned other things, I probably would have gone for the Registered Nurse program or the Licensed Vocational Nursing. Where I'm working now, it has nothing to do with what I learned at school because it's more of front office work. At Concorde, we did more hands-on than office work, so it depends on where I go to work if I can use the skills there or not. I would tell my friends to look into other areas that are available and not just go with what they have in mind. If they don't know about License Vocational Nursing or that there are other programs that are going to be better and not have much of a difference, they might as well go for a better one.

My sisters went to Concorde and I always wanted to be in the medical field, so I felt that it was the best school for me. I like the way the staff treated all of us and helped us out in the classes, especially with my weakest spots when I was at school. Bridget and Jonathan were the most helpful ones, and they helped me out with getting a job. Concorde is a really good school to further your career.

Overall, I would recommend Concorde Career College.

I wanted to take some class for a career and I found Concorde Career College at a job fair. The person whom I spoke to at the time drew me in. Also, I found the way they had the schedule appealing. They have something in the morning and something at night for me to be able to take my classes. My professor put me on a good path toward what I was going for and helped me out. Others should go to Concorde and accept their idea but research it more.

My teacher at Concorde, Amy, was really good. She kept everything really interesting, and she’s really knowledgeable about what she was talking about. I needed a career change, and when I looked into Concorde, I found Surgical Tech. And I liked Concorde's smaller classes and the variety of hours like different night and morning classes. I had a good experience overall, and if my friends want to become a surgical tech, I’d definitely tell them it would be a great school to go to.

I was looking at schools on the internet and was looking for a physical therapist assistant program that was relatively quick. Concorde Career College’s program was 20 months. I went in and spoke to one of the recruiters, Annie. I took a tour around the place, did my test and got enrolled quickly. The small size classes are appealing. I had just failed at school prior because it didn't have a super one-on-one thing going on with the professor and myself. And Concorde gets that. They're there for every individual student and they have more than enough resources to accommodate everyone. And to be successful at Concorde, one must study hard and follow what the instructors tell you.

Lori, the physical therapist assistant program director, was the person who broke down everything. And everything I know is from her. So, she basically gave me a career. The physical therapist assistant program was, by far, the best schooling experience I've ever had. I have a great career now, making decent money and I have my own place. Life's good.

I was gonna attend another school but that school shut down on my first day. I went online and it showed that there was another school, Concorde, that offered the nursing program and it was right down the road. I went there as quickly as possible and they worked with me to get in. I'm a veteran and they're veteran-friendly so that was a big deal. They also tried to get me into the program knowing that I already had everything already pre-set to go to another school.

My intake counselor was Ray. He was a prior army veteran so he knew everything about my military benefits and he was just as eager as I was to get me tested and make sure that I would meet the criteria. And once I did, he was exceptionally quick to make sure that I could start school the very next day. At Concorde, I could do things on my own personal time, talking with each individual teacher, instructor or staff member if there was something that I was unsure of. And the help that they offered to make sure that I understood the material presented was an essential key to make sure that I wasn’t doing anything blindly and that I was preparing myself to be the best I could be out in the field.

Concorde is a great school not just for the nursing programs, but for other programs too because I got some of the instructors from other programs. It has a great learning atmosphere and opportunity for anybody with some very knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful staff. I would highly recommend it. The biggest thing that someone can do is never be afraid or hesitate to ask a question. And most importantly, strive to do everything possible to learn everything from it and they will be successful.

Concorde got a lot of programs and their staff helped me pick a specific area of study. I like the teachers and staff. They were very friendly but the lady in the front office was the meaningful person in my Concorde journey. The teachers were nice and were very good at what they do. I studied dental assisting and I learned a lot but sometimes it got hard that I just got to tough it out, keep going and have the career in mind. Concorde helps a lot and I would very highly recommend my friend to study there, too.

Hi Lorena,

Thanks for taking a few minutes to reflect on your time at Concorde!

We're glad that our admissions team could get you started off on the right foot and that their guidance on careers that may have been a good fit was helpful.

Dental Assisting is certainly a field with many exciting opportunities! We can't wait to see how you seize those.

I was looking for a medical assistant program and geographically, Concorde Career College was close by. I went in for the interview and they gave me a brief overview of how the program works. Then things happened really fast when I enrolled. All of my teachers were really nice and very helpful with all the questions that I had for them in regards to the career path and going further. One of my teachers particularly was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about any other questions that I had in regards to different clinical experiences that he’s had.

It was a really fun school. I met a lot of new people as well as knowledgeable people about the field which gave me a good idea. They were very helpful in regards to finding me a good externship site as well. I learned a lot of new things at my extern site so it was nice. Overall, it was a very good experience. If you're interested in going into the career, go look at Concorde and get some more information and the credit. And to be successful, do your homework and do more than what is asked of you.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Micah!

I’ve been furthering my education. I was in the process of completing my AAA and in the process of completing my Bachelor, and I wanted a more hands-on experience. I looked into medical assisting and Concorde was the first one that showed up and I was interested in the class they offered. The admissions team walked me through the process, the classes and getting enrolled. Two teachers, in particular, stood out for me. They had a lot of good insights into the field and shared their experience. Also, you could get a good amount of one on one time with them. Concorde is a good school. But, I wish I had chosen an externship site where I would've had more opportunities open to me because the externship site that I was assigned to was very limiting to where I would go in that specific field. Other than that, everything has been great.

I googled Concorde Career College because I was looking for an MA, and I called and asked how long the program was. I searched for the shortest program and enrolled. The first time I went there and inquired, there was one who assisted me and toured me because they wanted me to enroll. There was also an instructor there that inspired me to enroll at Concorde. She was the first two-stage of my two months there and I learned a lot from her. I absorbed everything, but it was not enough for the program to learn everything.

The staff and people around Concorde won’t help you end up graduating and they don’t really encourage you. If you’re not smart enough to read the books, even though you’re going to self-study, you won’t realize that they’re teaching that. All of them are actually on the book and that’s why there’s an instructor to guide you, although most of the instructors are just checking if you’re doing good or if you know how to self-study, which is hard.

I graduated yesterday and I was a Lamplighter. I asked the head of Lamplighter if I could swap the folder to a thicker folder because they still have some left, which I saw from the stage. They said I couldn't swap it and I asked why. I deserve it because I’m a 4.0. I’m a good Lamplighter and a loyal student of Concorde. They didn’t give me that request that I asked, which was sad because I asked for one favor and they didn’t give it.

I wanted to do the Medical Assisting program and I had to start somewhere. I was going to a school nearby the airport, but I dropped it and then I went onto Concorde. The admissions team was very nice and they explained everything to me, and I agreed. My teachers were all very supportive and were always there to help. They would have you figure it out on your own but also be there. It took nine months to complete through Concorde and I had been working for a year already. To be a successful student at Concorde, you really have to put your mind to it and really want it. The Medical Assisting program at Concorde is a really good program and you learn a lot. My whole class graduated, so they were doing something good.

My experience with Concorde Career College has been great. I was attending a Brown Community College and I wanted to finish a program quickly. I did the hybrid pharmacy technician program which when they hybrid the classes, it makes it a lot easier. Everybody’s great too. There's Cindy, Jamal, Beth and Julienne. I’ve stayed in contact with them even after looking for a job. I email them and they're there to answer. They also reach out from time to time. I’m really satisfied with their class within a large group of kids or one-on-one. Concorde is a little bit more expensive but you can finish much quicker. I've been through Concorde's program once before as well, and I also plan on going back now for the nursing program.

Concorde's six-month office administration program seemed quick and it actually was supposed to educate you to be able to work in an office. I had a great experience while attending Concorde. The only thing that I had struggle with was the many different instructors I had never gave the same information. One would tell us to do a procedure one way and another instructor told us to do it a completely different way. There is not a whole lot of consistency. That’s difficult for a student because we truly are not getting a straight answer. Other then that I had a really great experience and would do it all over again if I could!!

I needed something fast in a short amount of time because I was working also. And I wasn’t having any help from my parents. So then, financially, Concorde was the best option at the time I signed up with them. I wanted to do the LVN program, but the guy at Concorde really insisted I should do the medical assistant program. My instructor on my second course was cool and really good with hands-on training with the blood draws and injections. She was very easy to talk to as well. One just needs to do his work and listen well to become a successful Concorde student. The people who were supposed to help with the job placement weren’t very attentive. It was kind of hard to get in contact with them. We just leave emails which would take a while. And I had to look on my own. But other than that, I’ve tried to refer people to Concorde.

Concorde Career College was around the corner from the house. I was looking to further my career and they had grants in our area. I’m already in the medical field so that was something I wanted to do. I came in there with my mindset of something not really sure and I ended up doing medical office. We had a lot of help there. Francina is a very smart woman and a really good teacher. Also, they have good programs and counselors. If you don’t go in knowing that you want to accomplish something, then you’re not going to do it 'cause I’ve seen it with a bunch of students. I’m trying to get my niece to go and I would tell others to go too.

I went down to Concorde one time and the experience was good. The teachers were supportive. They work with the students and keep them interested. They also helped students along if they need the extra help. If I was absent, they would call to find out what the problem was and if I needed help, they would always come and let me know that they are there. If we were lacking in some area and we needed a little motivation and a push, we could always go to them as well. They trained us well and they prepared us with what we needed to go to the working world. They taught us how to dress professionally and how to go for our interview. They prepared us physically and mentally. It’s a good school with a clean environment and nice atmosphere. I would tell others to go right there.

She told me that I could take more classes and do more with my life. She also told me to take science, biology, and math. I went down to the Garden Grove campus and met with the admissions rep. And then I went ahead and applied, and done my schooling through them. I like the schedule and it fit my lifestyle at that time. I worked with them to figure out the best program for me. I didn't have any qualms with the instructors and they were all great. But as far as the staff, and the policy, and the students there, I wouldn’t recommend Concorde College.

There was a change in the administration, and it was pretty awful going there. They were in it for money, and they don’t hold people accountable. There were drug issues that were going on at the time I went to school and they didn’t get addressed properly or in a timely manner. And it made the third quarter of my schooling pure hell. I didn’t have a good experience the last quarter of my attendance there. I have a $15,000 student loan and I’m not even using it. So, I’m not even an employee in the area that I went to school for. I left there with a 4.0 grade average and never missed a day of school, except for one day because there was too much drama and drugs that were not getting handled. But the instructors did their job and they taught me well. Other than that, the place is not a great place. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve gone to a different school that offered a little bit more training.

My mom went to Concorde and I like that they gave a chance to do a tour of the campus while classes are going on so I'm able to see what it would be like to actually be in the classroom. Until now I still go back and see my favorite teacher. She interacted with us more on the personal level rather than, “I’m just your teacher.” She showed us tricks that worked for her out in the field and even said if we have questions we can go back and see her and ask her. And she’ll help us out. I recommended Concorde to a couple of friends and got two to sign up already.

I initially went to Concorde because of the LPN program. So, I became an LPN without the NCLEX. Then, the one in Tampa offered the bridge program from LPN to RN. I had a great experience at Concorde up in Aurora, Colorado. The rep told me all the information I needed to know. Plus it's a fast-paced program and the passing rate of the students through seeing the NCLEX seemed pretty good. However, I moved up to Tampa and the Concorde there is not military friendly from what I've seen. They overcharged the VA and now, I'm stuck with a bill of $600 for some reason. That was supposed to be due by the 18th of this month. It wasn’t my fault. They didn’t send the paperwork the right way or the amount of money that they were supposed to be sending to the VA. So, I am pretty upset about that.

Concorde had a lot of healthcare programs the other schools didn’t have and everybody at Concorde played a good role for me. It was a good school and to be successful at Concorde you just have to stay focused.

My mother-in-law was interested in going to Concorde and when my husband told her I wanted to go into Medical Billing and Coding she told me about that school. I have a professor for Medical Billing and Coding who was awesome. He was very nice and very helpful. Concorde is a little pricey but it was quick and it was easy to get through and I got it done. It only took six months.

I was looking for different schools around where I live and I found Concorde online. I’m very impatient and it was a fast-paced school so that’s kind of why I went that route. They told me about all the other programs but I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, which is to be a surgical tech. I really like my clinical instructor. The other teachers would tell us like how it was by-the-book but she told us how it would be in the real world as well as following the book so that was nice. So when you get out there it’s not all strictly by-the-book so it was nice getting both and she just was very helpful. I could go to her for any question, any problem I had.

I know other people have jobs and children but definitely when you decide to study at Concorde you have to study and make it a priority. Make it your number one thing and just want it really bad. And if someone wanted something fast and in less than two years then I would definitely recommend Concorde. It’s definitely worth the money.

My experience at Concorde Career College was okay. The professors tried to make sure that they gave us the best help possible. My medical office teacher was absolutely the best. If it wasn’t for her, I would’ve stopped going. She went a little over and beyond with her job and made sure that we got the extra help. She also made sure we were prepared for there and for the real world once we got out. And if she had to stay all the time, she would help us with our thesis.

However, I haven’t found a job yet. They kept saying I needed to be certified, but I know a lot of people that were not certified and working. So, there was not much help in the job search with them. There should’ve been more options before we graduated. Also, certification should’ve been part of the tuition before we even graduated instead of them stressing to work even harder after that. They should’ve ensured that everyone was certified before we leave to go somewhere else but everyone wasn’t. We paid this much for tuition, but we were not getting to pursue out of it. Concorde is not your typical college. Make sure that you are focused and you’re ready to work triple time as a regular college student because you’re on a fast pace.

I live right down the street from Concorde Career College and I liked their fast-paced graduation time and the hands-on experience that they give. I was exploring around at first. I was going to do MA and then I decided to do dental assistant. I loved my admissions coordinator, Carrie. But she was either let go or she left, which was very unfortunate because the lady that I had next was not very nice. It was the worst experience that I have had after going so well with Carrie. Nevertheless, I loved my instructors. I did the afternoon classes and they did the afternoon classes smaller, so we had gotten a lot more personal with the teachers. There were no more than eight kids in my class, so that was great.

However, I can’t find a job now that’s going to help me pay for my tuition and help me make a living. That was the downfall. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to Concorde because I didn’t know I would have so much student loans. And then I’m not getting paid so much as a dental assistant. There are just so many dental assistants and so many are willing to work even for a minimum wage. It’s insane that I had to pay $17,000 in student loans just to be making 25 cents with my minimum wage. It’s really not worth it. I love going to school there, it was a great experience, but I just wish I never went there. It’s just not cool financially. I'd tell others to just be prepared for their tuition.

I was moving up to Portland and I was looking for places to go to school for nursing. Concorde Career College was the only school that I checked out and it was a path for me to be a nurse because I was a CNA for 25 years and I was a medical assistant for four. My instructor, Carol, was wonderful. I owe my career to her because without her I don’t think I would’ve ever graduated. She was the best teacher that Concorde had. It’s a shame though that she’s no longer there. She knew how to teach all different types of students no matter their background, where they came from, what their learning style was. She took the time to make sure that everybody got it. She cared about her students and that meant a lot. I'd tell my friends not to enroll there unless they have a lot of time to study at their own pace because they'd go through things so fast in the class that they'd have to go home and review. I recommend Concorde. If I can do it, anybody can do it.

I decided to do Medical Assisting at Concorde as there wasn’t a Physical Therapy program offered. I like that studying there was hands-on and that we get to practice what we learned. All of my instructors and our graduate employment specialist were very helpful. The people at Concorde made sure they broke everything down where we could understand it and they were straight to the point. Concorde has a very interesting program and I would invite anybody to go for it.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Kadejiah,

Glad you were able to shift your original plans and find a field that you were equally passionate about pursuing!

There's a great deal of opportunity for Medical Assistants. Thanks for mentioning graduate employment specialists as an important part of your journey too! While we can never guarantee job placement, we do our best to make sure our alumni are confident, connected and prepared as they enter their respective fields.

I recently separated from the military and I was looking to go back to school. A friend then told me about Concorde and I found them to be condensed and accelerated. I was interested in their Nursing program and they have great instructors that were very instrumental in me getting my Bachelor’s degree. However, it’s a private school, so obviously, money’s a factor in everything that goes on.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Ian,

First and foremost, thank you for your service! We're so glad that you found Concorde to be a fit in your pursuit of becoming a nurse.

Regarding our tuition, we're committed to being as transparent and upfront as possible. We never want our alumni to feel that money is more important than our mission to prepare America's next generation of health care professionals.

Thanks again for your feedback!

I was already working as a secretary at the hospital and I wanted to do a little upgrade. I went to Concorde and the classes with the teachers were amazing. I love all the hands-on. I liked the way one of the instructors was teaching us everything. She took the time to sit down with us one-on-one and repeat everything to us. And so we got it and she wouldn't get frustrated about it. I hope they keep on doing everything the same. I tell people about my experience in Concorde and how they were showing me step-by-step. The homework was a lot but it was meaningful.

I wanted to do dental assisting and Concorde offered that program. Plus they weren't that far. We had a lot of teachers because they kept leaving, but they were all really good. Concorde is a good school but I would tell friends not to go in the evening because there's not as much support staff so it's harder to get answers and get things done.

I live in Georgia and it’s complicated here, and I felt that it was better to go to Concorde. I told the admissions team what I wanted to do and they went along with it. I learned a lot at Concorde and they didn’t just expect me to know what the book says. They explained it as well as let me have hands-on experience. I was already a CNA, so Concorde helped me out more.

I love one of my instructors since she didn’t look down on me. She related to us ‘cause she’s been where we’ve been and she was willing to do anything possible to help us. She explained things clearly instead of trying to tell us what she felt we should already know if we didn’t know it. There was another instructor that I like because she didn’t look down on us as well. She put herself in a perspective in relation to where we were. Concorde is the best school and I’ve recruited a lot of people that I worked with. They’ve seen how I accomplished everything in a timely manner, and they can learn more by going there. It was a good learning experience.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Trevicia,

That's so good to hear! Out of the places they could teach, our instructors and campus leadership choose to invest in the amazing students at Concorde.

Whether it's staying late to tutor or helping navigate personal situations, our associates are committed to serving students as a whole person and not just as a number on a roster.

We're so proud of all you've accomplished and can't wait to see what's next!

Concorde is just within the area so I decided to give it a shot and went with Dental Hygiene and dental assisting as well. I enjoyed everybody up there. Our instructor was very inspiring. There is also a bunch of great and caring people at Concorde. You just have to be really driven and focused. You have to be all-in and determined. You have to know what you want and on the hard days, you have to know what your goal is and why you’re putting in the work for what you’re doing. Concorde is a great place to get an education and I would definitely tell a friend to go for it.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Angela,

So pleased that you Concorde to be such a great fit for you as you pursued your passion in the dental field!

We couldn't agree more about powering through the long days! You may remember doing it yourself - in Orientation, we often have our students write down why they started the program so that on those tough days they can look back and work with the end goal in mind.

If you're ever close to campus, we'd love for you to pop in and say hi!

Concorde Career College is a decent school. It’s not the best thing in the world but it gets you where you want to be. I was looking for any school on Google and the timing worked out perfectly for what I needed. I like how quick Concord was when I decided to go with their RN program. I just had to study a lot and watch out for myself. Concorde should have all the teachers and staff on the same page because my class was the guinea pig class. We got tested on everything new and the staff didn’t know what they were doing, which made us all frazzled. So, it was difficult for us.

A friend of mine told me about Concorde Career College. I've been with them since 2011. I came there to pass my exams but I got pregnant so I came back.

They are a good school and it's the school to be with. They are very organized and they teach a lot of students. Educational wise, everything is okay with them. People pass their boards because I passed my board just once. They encouraged me when I was struggling and they try to put everything for me to be successful. I've recommended them to several of my friends already.

I looked up schools online and Concorde's LPN program was short. My anatomy and physiology teacher motivated me when he challenged me in his class. He said that the class was going to be difficult and I wanted to prove him wrong. However, sometimes the instructors wouldn't agree on something and different groups would go with a different set of standards to pass. But I've told friends that if you're committed to it then it's a good school to go to. Also, you have to know yourself as a student. For example, how you study, what gets to you, and what kind of help you need.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Yetsion,

Your keen insight about knowing what type of student you are is so critical in finding success in an accelerated program like ours!

We've made some improvements in recent months that we feel addresses some of your concerns, too.

Thanks for being a valued member of the Concorde family!

I always tell people that I had a good experience with Concorde Career College and I recommend it. Their program was good for me. At that time, I had a young daughter and I was young too. I just needed to get something done fast and their program was quick. But I was going to take the nursing test and they played this game where you have to take the MA program before you can go into the nursing program. I told them I was not doing that. Besides, I can go to a doctor’s office and they can teach me to do everything that Concorde would.

I did my clinical at Medical City Dallas and it was Phil who put me there. He felt that that was the best placement for me and now, I work there. Phil was my teacher for one term but even when he wasn’t, I could always call or text him or go to his office if I needed help with anything. He was always willing to help. I have graduated for over a year but to this day, I can text him and say I need my shot records. That wasn’t his job but he would have the records in an envelope on his desk within 20 minutes and I would just run by there and pick them up.

I’ve always liked Concorde when my sister went there when she was younger. I went to Everest before and it was a whole bunch of runaround with them. And so I figured I wanted to go with somebody who was a little more recognized. The admissions team at Concorde was awesome. I have graduated March of last year, but I still stop by and see them. I love the president and everybody was terrific there. A lot of people have been meaningful to my journey, from my admission reps, Valerie, down to Cynthia and Reina, plus my instructors during my whole nine months there.

Concorde always had my back no matter what. I could call them right now and somebody would be calling me back. Or if somebody would go there on a short notice and they were busy, they would say that they would be right there with you. Also, there was always somebody there to listen. We would see the dean walk around. And the president sometimes came by and shook our hands and asked how were we doing.

When I lost my job recently and I called them, they said they would put me right in there and then asked what would I want to do. They were on top of it. I liked the whole process of working with them, even back to the externship. If I needed help or needed to talk to an instructor, everybody was there to help. It was not like it was just about a check. If anyone was struggling with something, even financially, they would try to find solutions. They really go above and beyond. I’m thinking about going back and doing something else. I recommended them to a couple of people and my cousin as well. CONCORDE IS THE BEST.

I have a small child so I wanted to do better for him and Concorde was the only one that had the program I was looking for. The director of the program that I had was really into the field that I was going into. He was very excited about it and that made it much easier to learn. Also, Nick and Jeanette were both amazing and I am still in contact with them as I'm working in the field that I was in school for. They were both very caring and if we have concerns or if we didn’t understand something, they took the time to make sure that we understood it before they move on to another subject. The teachers were accommodating and they help figure things out. I recommended Concorde to one of my friends and she's going there now. It was a great experience and Concorde was a great place to go.

I was searching for a program that could validate some of my credits and I was looking for a program that had a good quality rating. Concorde had very good customer service and everyone was really welcoming and friendly. My program instructors didn’t give up on me and they helped me out even if it was on their break or on their days off. They made sure that I got the help I needed to finish the program. I would suggest Concorde to anyone especially if those instructors are still there. At some point, they were a bit disorganized at Concorde because they were going through so many program directors. At some point, it got clustered. But they were able to fix the issue. Another thing is they should get a little more updated on the books. The teacher was teaching out of an older book and we had a newer version of the book.

The people at Concorde were so excellent, nice and welcoming, and they tried to help me all the time. Concorde has great teachers and also, they try to improve day by day. The admissions team helped me in knowing my specific area of study. And Gabriel, the guy there, told me to try Nursing instead of Radiology and he was right. Miss Nancy, the lady from the Financial Aid Office, was so nice in helping me because I was tired. The guy at the Finance office was also great.

Concorde has excellent tutoring books and their library is great. I couldn’t stay in the library because I have a kid, but sometimes, they left the library open for me. Concorde worked for me, and I’m going back to get my nursing degree, too. I will recommend Concorde to my friends, and I sent three people to the school already. Keep improving, Concorde.

Concorde Career College was my second option after not getting through the program at ASU in Jonesboro. Concorde is smaller and the classes were smaller and I heard the education was better. The admissions team told me about the program and what the borderline pay would be, the job availability and the passing rate. They were more expensive than some programs were because they lumped one of the prerequisites in with it and the books. But it was a fast program and not long and drawn out. I went from one semester to the next and got a better quality education.

One of the big things about being a student at Concorde was I was studying towards my career instead of just for the test. Also, one of the instructors, Yolanda, wanted her students to learn and wasn't just there to teach the class to get money. She was passionate about what she did. I graduated last April and I already have a job from my eight-week clinical rotation. But they tried to seek me out and see if I had a job so they were good with that. I would definitely recommend Concorde.

Concorde Career College had what I was looking for and I could get my certificate as far as a couple of months. I was very interested in that and I liked that I have to take all the remedial classes like a community college. There were a couple of people who made my stay at Concorde Career College meaningful. I was pregnant and they helped me out a lot. They put their time with me. I was in and out of the hospital but they made sure I got the homework and did everything. I was on my last month and I had my baby and went back to class. It was a lot of hard work doing the classes and labs but if I can do it in my last trimester, then others can do it. No excuses. Just make sure you like what you're studying for and take your time to pay attention. Do your work and study and make time for it.

I went online looking for colleges then a co-worker recommended Concorde to me. I found the opportunity to have a real career in my life appealing so I went there. I was going to get the office courses but I ended up in the dental assistant course. Miss Linda told me about the dental assisting position and I decided that I liked it better. She helped everybody find their niche. My instructors were also very caring and I was not not just somebody that brought in cash to the school. They wanted me to succeed.

In Concorde, the students need support from each other and their families. If you don't have anybody backing you up, you're not going to make it there. It was a six-month course and I got a lot of stuff to cram in it so I needed study buddies. All in all, Concorde offers a really good opportunity. I'm now an alumnus and I got a position as a dental assistant last September. It's now February and I've made lead DA.

My mom told me about Concorde Career College. I decided to go in there because I was able to apply more than one time per year and there were different start dates. Furthermore, their program was shorter than some colleges. Their Admissions helped me match with the program and I went through the Dental Hygiene program.

A few faculty were particularly meaningful to me in my journey there. They were easy to learn from because they taught in a way that made me understand. And they were really patient, understanding and really knowledgeable in different aspects of the field. They really were hands-on and made sure that I understood things before they moved on. I found a job a month and a half later after I graduated. They even gave help regarding job placement. They emailed me and called me. But I already had a job at that time so I did not need any help. I have already recommended Concorde to others and told them that they are going to have to make sacrifices while going through the program but it is going to be so worth it.

The class, teachers and the staff at Concorde are wonderful. But the tuition is high. I wanted my dental assistant license and if I knew that I could've gone to Southwest or University of Memphis for a cheaper tuition, I would've never gone to Concorde at all. The key to becoming a successful Concorde student is to be in class on time, maintain good grades and graduate. I just wish that it was a little cheaper to go to school especially since I graduated with honors, my tuition should never have been so high. And I wish I found a job afterward. I still haven't been called for a job and Concorde hasn't tried to help me find one. I've just been looking on my own. I wouldn't recommend Concorde. If anyone asks me about Concorde, I would tell them to weigh their options before they settle with Concorde.

I used to work at an assisted living facility and I got very interested in the medicine that was being used there. I figured going to Concorde would be a good step towards medicine, kind of get my toe in the water and see if I liked it. I live a little bit down the road from it too so I was driving past it and I did some research online.

The hands-on practice was very appealing, the fact that I was able to do things practically instead of just reading about it and going, "Do this when you're out in the field." I probably would have done better with the nursing degree or getting my LPN first, but MA seemed to be a good thing. The medical assistant course was a lot easier than I expected so I just swept through it.

The instruction was done in blocks, where you had the first three blocks with one professor and the next three blocks with another. The first professor was fine but the second professor showed blatant favoritism and that was frustrating because you couldn't get her to answer any of your questions if you weren't one of her favorites. She offered a lot of wrong information and she openly said that lie detector tests are admissible in court even though they haven't been since 2005.

She gave the wrong draw order for vials when we were doing venipuncture. I didn't listen to her the entire last half of the MA course and studied on my own because I figured anything she told me was going to be wrong. I taught myself which was fine because it was simple. And as long as I actively paid attention in class, I didn't have to take notes. It was not incredibly difficult and finding a study group was good for people who had trouble.

I was studying for my PANCE, for the physician assistant, and I was trying to be ahead so I took a couple of practice tests for the PANCE while still in medical assistant school that's why it was easy. But study groups would definitely be a good thing and they were easy to find there because you were in class for eight hours. You could go in and get it done. Concorde is a great place to go but beware of the favoritism.

My daughter's aunt went to Concorde Career College for a dental assistant course. I also always had an interest in teeth, so it was inevitable that it ended up happening for me eventually. All the instructors there and especially Joe helped me the entire time. When I needed anything, they worked with me. It was awesome. I had surgery and when you're in a course like that, you can't miss a day because that means you're missing out on a whole section. I was able to catch up on everything with the help of my teacher. And the best quote I've ever heard from an instructor was, “If you don't use it, you lose it,” which was so true because for a while I wasn't working and I went back to work and I can't remember anything. Everyone at Concorde, whether it's your classmate, instructor or your counselors, is always there when you need them and their door is always open. I've recommended this school to many people already.

Concorde has a fast-track option compared to other schools. Their staff and hands-on training were appealing and I went there for two programs. The caring staff and their one-on-one extra help made my journey there special, and being in class helped me to be successful as a student. A lot of people complained about their price, but I told them it was worth it. I had a great experience. I’m very successful now working in the career field that I chose and when I get compliments, the only thing I can go back to is where I went to school.

I went to a few others, but I liked Concorde better. Moreover, the others closed down. Concorde was very supportive of what I did and what I wanted to do. Going there helped a lot. They did a tour for me, told me how long the program will be, the classes and the teachers. I felt welcomed. Also, the admissions team helped me match with my program. My boyfriend also went with me and even signed up although he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do yet. We got three series of teachers and I loved how my last teacher taught. She was very hands-on, which I liked and I just visualized what I was learning. She was just a really good teacher. Enrolling at Concorde is a good decision to further one's career. I was able to further mine, however, there were some people who weren't able to get a job so it doesn’t work for everybody.

I was on the APTA page for accredited college for PTA programs and I came across Concorde. At that time, I had gone to a Physical Therapist Assistant Program in West Virginia and I moved to Florida suddenly. It had been a good year until I looked into other PTA programs to finish my degree. I came to Concorde and I saw Quinton. Within 30 minutes, he had me signed up for financial aid and toured me. I started the very next day in a class and studied the PTA program. I knew that it was God’s will. It was absolutely crazy but it all worked out for the best.

There was one instructor that we wanted to please. She was the scariest at the beginning but at the end of the day, it was all because everyone was afraid to disappoint her and that was what pushed us to do so well. To become a successful student, we connected with the people in the class because study groups were huge. We spent a ton of time with everyone in the class throughout the entire program.

I have two friends that are in the PTA program in Concorde because I said good things about it after all this time. Mostly, my highest regard for the program is the constant support. You can go there anytime, even if you’re not in an actual class. During that time, there were people in the library and in the media room. There were smiling faces everywhere you go and it was so positive. The whole experience was so easy from day one clear through. Right now, I am back in school just to finish my bachelors. Although one thing that I wish Concorde offered was some type of wraparound option that I could opt to do, like an allied health or a healthcare administration because they mostly have associate degrees and they didn’t go as far as bachelors. With their associate degree, that would be really helpful.

The Concorde admissions team was very fast and once they took me around the whole school, they focused on the major that I wanted to do. Then, they sat down and talked about it. They told me everything that I have to do. I took a test before entering a class and they had me start when a class started that next week. They did everything for me, and I studied dental assistant program. Concorde was hands-on. I got straight through the program, not doing core classes or no pre-existing classes that they have. I was basically just in there learning which I like.

I had an instructor who made my journey meaningful as she pushed us more than a regular teacher would because we had it in us. We got up, did hands-on and stated what instrument it was. And if we didn't know the instrument, she would let us go back and practice with a partner and then we came back to her and stood and presented the instruments in front again. other than that, my experience with Concorde was good. I have a cousin now who wants to do medical assistant so I’m trying to get her to Concorde.

I knew my area of study, where I wanted to study and what I wanted to study. Concorde was pretty much everything that I needed. It was all-in-one at a convenient cost. Plus, it was close to where I live. I had three teachers that impacted my studies and greatly helped me during my time there. If any one of us seemed confused, they helped us as much as they could. They would explain in different manners and repeat it as often as they needed to. Because of Concorde, I was able to work in many different areas in my field. People should definitely look into Concorde because the teachers are very resourceful. The classes are good and are decent for anybody. Also, they have financial aid to help people out.

Concorde Career College gave me a good price and they seemed like a good fit for me. They matched me to a program and gave me some good tips. All the staff was great and helpful. I liked working with them. The program was very good paced and everything I learned, I used in my career. So, that was good. Students at Concorde should try their best to be successful.

Concorde would be a good location to go for anyone trying to get into the medical field. They'll set you on your way to get you a good job. The program I had was only 8 months long plus the internship and I had a good experience. I liked the teachers. I had one instructor who used real experience in the field and she had people come in and watch the class. I also got hands-on experience in the labs and working with the different classmates. I managed and understood the procedures needed to be done to get a patient out of the seat. I also like that they have a really good military support since I grew up like a military. Concorde is something fun to get into if you really want to learn a new field. Also, if you're having troubles, you can definitely get help there.

A newspaper brought my attention to enrolling into Concorde Career College and taking up a trade. I like their teaching, the hands-on training, and lectures. It was a bit challenging when I first started. I had to drop out, and then I wrote out the reinstatement and filled out the form to enroll myself back in the school, and Concorde took me back. I like how the teachers get their students into assigning work and they were there for their students to support them throughout the course for them to finish it and go out there and get a job. I would refer a friend to Concorde. If you’re looking for a job or if you’re looking to go back to school, Concorde is the school to go to. I would give a good feedback for my friends to check out the school and get a tour and make sure that someone gave them the right information to convince them to want to enroll in a course. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the course at Concorde Career College.

I knew I wanted to study Surgical Technology and Concorde was the closest to my home. Terry, one of the staff, offered me extra study times and always took the extra time to help me out. She guided and pushed me to be my best. She was amazing. Concorde is a great school to go to and it's affordable. If they are close to your home, they are a good option.

I knew about Concorde when I first graduated in high school. With Concorde, I did not have to go and get my prereq. There were two instructors at Concorde who worked with me to make it where I understood their content. At Concorde, you really have to study to be successful as a student. Also when I graduated, they contacted me that a hospital wanted a resume. Then they submitted mine and I was able to get the job. The one who helps with the employment kept being in contact with me until I was able to find a job as well. Concorde is worth it.

I looked up LVN programs and Concorde Career College was one of the closest to me and one of the quickest. I liked the small class sizes. It allowed me to learn better in the sense that I have more of an opportunity to talk to the teachers one-on-one and get more of an understanding of whatever has been taught. Two of the instructors were very genuine, very helpful and I could just tell they really wanted you to succeed. They were there for the students for sure.

I would definitely recommend Concorde. You just have to be disciplined for the schedule and the amount of work coming your way in order to succeed. For me it was just a quick program that would allow me to get my LVN license so that I’m able to work and go back to school for my RN. If someone is looking for something right away Concorde will definitely get them placed somewhere so then they can decide whether they want to continue their education. It was a nice program.

My sister attended Concorde and I’ve always want to get into the medical field. I wanted to be in Respiratory General and that’s what gained my interest. The Academic Dean and the Program Director of previous program I was in, Polysomnography Technology, weren't as professional as I was hoping for them to be. There was a lot of miscommunication, like not understanding how the program works. I didn't want to deal with them anymore. But they were able to compensate for becoming the better ends and were able to accommodate for my general duties.

But being in the Respiratory Therapy, the program was way more structured and I learned a lot. It made me want to go to school. The new Program Director for the Polysomnography Technologist, our Program Director for Respiratory Therapy and my instructor have been very helpful in guiding me towards the right direction as far as how to continue my career in this field. The instructors in this field are really knowledgeable. They pay attention to everything that we do and they make sure to correct us if we were wrong. They make sure to guide us toward the right direction as far as any type of procedure that they knew. I’m glad that Concorde chose the best people to guide us towards the right direction as far as progressing in our field. They teach us to better choose the clear path that we've chosen and continue to keep doing it. Hopefully later, we can be the same way if we've chosen to teach.

I would be finishing in January. And I’ve learned that in order to be a successful student in this school, I just have to listen to what they tell me and not try to do things on my own. I have to branch out, help others and seek more help because the staff was there to help out as much as they could. They’re like an On button when it came to teaching the right techniques and terminologies. Also, I have to continue to move up instead of just working with what’s around me and to keep pushing forward as far as education. From what I was told, I thought Concorde was pretty timid. But being here, I know that everyone's putting their 100% effort into everything which makes a big difference. I’d tell my friends to do a research and come to Concorde depending on the field they’d choose.

I was looking for a school that offers programs for Polysomnographic Technologist. Concorde was offering it. The instructors and the people in the office were professional. There was one of the counselors who was very nice and helpful. They were doing their job. The instructors also gave us a heads up for what we were up against and that really helped. However, there were a lot of very immature and not serious people. I’ve been to college a couple of times. I’ve never been to a college where I had so many childish classmates. There are a lot of very ignorant women who got on my nerves. I get headaches real quick when things are stupid and ignorant. If I were a teacher, I would be really adamant about professionalism when coming in there because my first words to would be professional starts right here, right now. Even so, I would advise others that Concorde is a good school to attend to.

I wanted a change in my career and our daughter told me about Concorde Career College. At the beginning, it was really appealing, but it was not at the end. They promised they’d get me a job before I got in but I had not gotten a job in that field so far. I went there for a specific study but I didn’t pass the test so they had three other options and I took one. The teachers were good, all helpful and meaningful in my journey at Concorde. They give a lot of outlook on different things, but those don’t help if one can’t get a job and what they want to have. I wouldn’t recommend others to go to Concorde if they don’t own up to what they said they would do.

Concorde's location was convenient for me and the field they offered, the Dental Hygiene program, was what I was looking for because I was a dental assistant for three years. Their staff was great. I liked the instructors and the equipment they have. Everything looked new and when I walked through there, it smelled new and looked clean. That was what caught my attention. Everything was step by step when they set me up with the right program.

One of their instructors had professionalism and charisma. She was very disciplined as well. She was very knowledgeable and that inspired me to be like her one day. Furthermore, I like the other instructor's teaching style. She was very organized and very on time with grading. She reads a lot and I like to read as well. She was working on her Masters even though she was teaching. She was a very inspirational and motivational person. Students at Concorde Career College have to listen to their instructors. If they think they can go into the program on their own or slack off a little bit, it's not going to work. I'm a product of what Concorde can offer and it was great. As time flies by, students get things done and Concorde will help them every step of the way.

My friends told me about Concorde although when one of my friends was talking about it he didn't know that there was one in Mississippi at the time. I am located in Mississippi and the Memphis branch isn't far from me but I went to the Southaven branch. I knew what I wanted to do when I went there and I ended with a medical outfit profession. When I first met them I was always told that the extern person was going to put us on our field to finish our hours or before we graduate or work. But when we got ready to go out on our extern, the extern coordinator told us that we had to go out and find our own place to do our externship at and we only had a certain amount of time that we had to do that.

Also our extern coordinator told us that the accounts that Concorde in Memphis have, the Concorde in Mississippi doesn't have. But when you go on externship people say that they don't the same job to fill you on. They have a different program. And then she claimed that they have more in Memphis than they do in Mississippi so I don't know.

My experience was okay but it wasn't anything that I was just swept off of my feet about. It didn't seem like I got enough support from them. I went there thinking one thing, but I left with another thing happening. It was contradicting when I got to a certain point. But I would recommend to go to Concorde in Memphis and not the Southaven branch. I got a couple of cousins that were in the Memphis branch and they were really excited about their experience with it. They have jobs now in the field that they went to Concorde for.

I heard about Concorde from a friend and liked that it was a faster graduate plan than a normal university. They had the specific program I was looking for and had an instructor who helped me out whenever I needed it. However, it would be nice if they would help students get employed afterwards because it's been a year and I still don't have a job. If anyone would ask about Concorde, I'd tell them to get things done on time and make sure to be hired. Otherwise, they'd feel that they wasted time and money.

My sister went to Concorde. Going there was an okay idea at that time because I had graduated high school early and I wasn’t doing anything. I liked how quickly I could get the certification and learn the course I was doing in the class. I had one teacher for most of the classes and he seemed very educated and very experienced in that. I already knew what I wanted to do when I heard which programs they had, which one would put me where I want to be, the courses that would give me the most experience.

I felt that my teacher, Brian, connected more with the class and being the youngest, he did not exclude me and treated me as one with the big kids. And Caroline, the lady that dealt with all my paperwork, was a big help. She was always the person in the background, asking me how things were going and giving me tips on things. She was a very good and fun kind of guidance person. You just got to work hard and have the motivation to keep going. There was a point where I thought things are not working. You just have to push forward and then you’ll be where you want to be or do what you want to do. However, be prepared for setbacks. My experience has been overall good, but if you’re not 18, I wouldn’t go to that school because they’re not going to admit you if you’re under 18. You could get your credits completely taken away from you.

I was looking for a school that offered the specific program I was interested in and found Concorde Career College online. They were the only school anywhere close to me that had the Occupational Therapy Assistant program I was looking for. Most of our instructors were professionals in the field and being able to hear their experiences as practitioners was really important. It helped us to prepare in a more realistic way. Concorde is a good school, however, being a private, two-year college, the programs there are extremely expensive. The key to being a successful student is being willing to do the work. By putting in a lot of the needed effort, one can get it done.

I used to work with a friend and she told me about Concorde. I like that I can start sooner than the other college. Melissa, the instructor, was so helpful. When I have questions, she goes over it with me. And to be successful at Concorde, I put the effort to be where I’m at right now. Concorde is a really good college. There are some instructions that are mean and doesn’t help at all but there are some that are good. I would recommend it to other people to take MA, medical assistant, with Melissa and not to go and deal with the director for the MA.

Concorde Career College was fast. I was looking up for NDT program online and then I got an email from the representative in San Bernardino. So, I called them and they arranged a time. I moved to San Bernardino to start the program. It was really appealing to me and I like my instructors at Concorde. So, I’m happy about it. I recommend if I see anyone interested in the program.

Among the instructors, I like Sarah the most. She’s really experienced and really helps the students. I learned a lot in the first year especially when they’re rotating our clinical. The employees are really helping. We get all the materials needed. If you don’t find something and if you ask, they provide it with additional material. So, if someone is willing and wanting to learn and be successful, they can use all these assets.

I went to Concorde Career College and talked to a couple of people at the school. It turned out to be one of the better options. I only considered a couple options, and after I talked to Concorde and heard what they have to say, I decided to go there. It was less hassle and easier. The process was simple and everybody was helpful, so I put a lot of that into consideration. Everybody from the financial aid office helped me. Everybody I encountered was great. It was like being at home. I always had good help from the guy who helped me set everything up and got me in this school, until all the way up to the director

Getting the continual help from everybody can be a key to be successful at Concorde. A lot of it falls on the student. They have to be self-motivated in order to go get it. But outside of that, when they get there, they got to have people around them that's willing to make sure they stay on track since it’s easy to lose focus. I had professors and deans that made sure I stayed on tight. It's nice to have people around students who understand life, help them out, give good advice, and made sure their spirit stays strong. And they won’t forget it all in the midst of it. It was a great experience overall. There were some small things here and there since nothing is perfect, but I enjoyed my sem. I would recommend others to check on Concorde. It’s a good place to be and I'll let them know about my experience and how I was treated.

My brother went to Concorde so I also went there. My brother's a therapist and I was kind of following the tradition. I didn't have to worry about if I was going to make it into the program. It was a sure thing. I like how it was all-inclusive and a tight-knit group. I liked the male instructor because he was so real about everything and didn't sugarcoat it. And the female instructor was the one who would give you tough love when you needed it. I focused and took the program seriously. It took me 16 months to finish it and I immediately found a job after graduating. However, the staff is getting a little wacky. There are far out characters out there working now. But other than that, it was pretty good. I love Concorde and I would tell a friend that Concorde is tough but it's worth it.

The staff was really sweet and the teachers were amazing. They gave us real-life experiences which were very helpful because it actually did happen outside of the school. They were really good about that. Even if it's not school related, they still try to extend their hand and help you out. I have told my sister about Concorde. I told her it was an amazing school and that I'm sure how my experiences were would be the same for her.

I tried the Southwest and it just ended up not working out. I was looking into my other options and I wandered to Concorde. I had a friend who went to the MA program with Concorde. Also, I wanted a school that was accredited and I thought Concorde was accredited. Once I found that, I started doing the steps I had to do to get in. And I like that I was with the same people constantly. They walked me through everything from getting started to graduating. If I had questions, there was always someone there to answer and everyone was very helpful. When I was at Southwest, I was running back and forth but I could never get answers.

We had three main teachers and I enjoyed all my teachers. Our positioning teacher was great and our director was wonderful. The teachers would reach out to us, did their jobs and they taught us. Also, I've always wanted to do X-ray and they all continue to work in X-ray so they kept up with things and gave advice. I took my boards and I passed with the help of them. It's also definitely something that you have to want to do.

Concorde is a very expensive school but the majority of my classes were able to get a job right out of school. The class does clinicals and they do job placement and email us for job openings. I've heard of other classes or other majors that don't have job placement like that. I have recommended it to a few people and my brother is even doing it now.

I had a family friend who attended Concorde when I was 15. I told her I was looking into going to Journalism and she recommended Concorde Career College as it was a really good school with a really good program. It sounded nice. I went in to get information and I fell in love with the school. Ever since I signed up, I was very excited to start and be able to pursue the career I had always wanted to do since I was a child.

I graduated from high school a year early and I decided that if I started college now, if I started pursuing my education a little bit more and I get into a field I would love, then later on in the future if I wanted it, I could always go back to study for something else in dental or be able to have another job opportunity somewhere else with dental involved. I liked the environment at Concorde, the students were very outgoing. The admissions team were also very helpful. The instructors were amazing and their labs were awesome. We learned everything we had to and we had a lot of hands-on. The thing I liked the most was how interactive all the instructors were, how they had time to help us out if we needed any help in anything, and just learning everything we had to know before we went out into the field.

The instructor that I had for six modules made sure that I was on track with everything. She made sure that I learned whatever I had to know before I went on to the field. With her, I had the most amazing experience through Concorde the whole time I was there. And I found that the key to becoming a successful student was I saw that it was just like we learn. We did our coursework like we were supposed to. We actually had time to turn it in every Friday. The good thing was that we would go through the chapter today and then ended up doing the homework. Concorde taught us a lot well to learn then to actually go through that chapter and learn a little bit more. It’s a great school and I would recommend it to anybody who’s looking for any field that Concorde offers. You can always turn to them for something and they'd be very helpful. You can have an amazing rapport with them.

We turn to my teacher at Concorde College for help if we need anything. She took her time going over things with us, making sure we've got what she was teaching. The labs of the school were nice as well. I’m more of a hands-on learner, not a visual learner so having the labs, the x-ray and the set-up like a pharmacy was neat. I would tell others to go enroll at Concorde Career College.

Concorde Career College is a good school. My friends were going there and I wanted a quick schooling that I can actually do. So, I did the Medical Assistant course and it was just six months in school and then the rest in extern. I learned a lot and Concorde helped me learn stuff that I never thought I would learn before. Three of their staff really helped me out through it and studying the drug cards can help a student be successful. I liked and really enjoyed it at Concorde that I had actually thought about going back.

When I graduated, I was thinking about going into Dental Hygiene. One of my friends, who was going to the same program, told me about Concorde in Kansas City. I like that it was an accelerated program, compared to the other programs available. The director of the Dental Hygiene program was really helpful. She stepped into a lot of shoes although she didn't have to do it. If we needed help in clinics or we had questions about any of the courses that we were in, she was always around and willing to help us. She was amazing. And then there was another teacher who was incredible. I would not have learned near as much without having her as a teacher in some of my classes. As far as my experience in Kansas City, in the Dental Hygiene program, I can't ask for a better staff who genuinely cares about students, and wants us to succeed and helps us every step of the way.

Being in the program takes studying and commitment and it’s best for prospective students to commit almost 100% of their time to put into schoolwork because it’s busy and takes a lot of time. But I had a really great experience. I loved my classmates and my teachers, and everyone was amazing, and they still are. They're still even helping us find jobs. They're always in communication with us, making sure we're doing okay with our jobs. If we need help, they're always still here and wanting to help us. So, they're still taking care of us.

Concorde Career College response

Hi Sierra,

Thanks so much for taking time to share your experiences! We love that you felt like you were a part of our family!

We'll certainly pass your kudos along to the program director. We're always happy to celebrate standout faculty!

Thanks again!

My cousin went to Concorde for her LVN and she told me it was the best. She researched also about them and these made me decide to advance my education with them. I called them and asked for information. Rob of Concorde called me back and asked me if I wanted to go in to look around, and told me what programs they offer. He also helped me get my high school revalidated 'cause I didn’t finish high school here in the United States. The facility I went to visit was nice and clean. Everyone looked like they knew what they were doing. When I went there, I knew what I wanted and focused to become a successful student. I did everything in my power to finish faster. I've always wanted to be in the healthcare field and at Concorde, the program was nine months, which was quick so I decided to go. I liked that the advisors at the school were hands-on. Ms. ** was always warm, kindhearted, and made the classes fun. She also likes to joke around with us as well so I like her. Before I had even graduated from Concorde, I ended up getting a job as a medical assistant. Now I have a friend who just got to Concorde for Dental Assistant.

A friend mentioned Concorde Career College, and I thought it was a pretty cool college to get started on my medical career. I wanted more experience in different fields and a better pay as well. I like Concorde’s real-time training experience and learning what you’re going to be doing out in the field instead of just books. The Concorde team helped me out and a staff member was particularly meaningful in my journey. She was enthusiastic and had a lot of energy. She was fun to be around and she made learning easy. Helping out others and learning together are the keys to success at Concorde. Just get your foot in the door, get your feet wet and see if you like the medical field enough. My experience at Concorde was pretty good, but they need to be clearer on updates about getting into those classes that you need.

The medical assistance program intrigued me and I decided going through with it given that Concorde wasn’t concerned about my academic career in high school. They didn’t ask for any sort of high school transcript. So I went into the admissions office with an open mind wanting something in medical but not necessarily nursing. And they helped me come to a decision. They gave me an idea of what the classes were like and which one I would like the best. My admissions counselor did an excellent job at putting me in a program that was a career I might have. And a lot of the staff helped make that journey more meaningful. And a few of my medical assistance instructors were all perfect.

But an instructor who filled in before we were provided the regular instructor didn’t teach at all. It wasn't that he was bad as instructor but for the first part that he provided me modules, he didn't teach. He completely ignored the presentation. It wasn’t the best experience with that teacher. But as soon as the regular instructor came in and filled that position, it was perfect. I am grateful for the opportunity I had at Concorde and I'm considering going back to pursue an RN. So, if anyone’s looking for medical career, but doesn't want to go ahead first into anything higher than a registered nursing program, I'd definitely refer them to Concorde to get them on their feet.

My friend knew that I was working to be a dental assistant so she told me about Concorde Career College, which is close to my house. The instructors really helped me understand and learn everything I know now. And everything they taught has been really good for me. Concorde is a good school and even though it's fast, students have to keep up with the program and should pay attention in school. If they don't understand something then they get left behind. It's hard but it's worth it.

I wanted something different and be in the medical field because I did massage therapy before, and I did that for a while. It felt like I wanted to do something more or less in a doctor’s office or in a hospital. I like Concorde’s length of time and class and the price wasn’t too bad. I had a program in mind, and the Concorde team thought I should take something else before taking that class that I wanted to take. So, I took that first and I was going to take the other class. A lot of the staff members were meaningful on my journey and a few really stuck out and helped me a little to really get me going. To be a successful student here, one must stay in focus, keep up on the work and make sure to ask for help when needed. I would recommend Concorde Career College. I enjoyed it, I learned a lot, and I don’t regret going.

I'm not too happy with Concorde and some of their ways. When I first went there, it was awesome but that changed as I went on the process. It wasn't the books or the lessons, but some of the people that were there. There was one meaningful instructor, but the rest didn't care about us and were all about themselves. But there was one instructor was the best at everything though. She helped and made us achieve every day. Even if we didn’t get it right off, she was still willing to help us. I tried to strive for my goals. I wanted a degree and I didn’t want to leave without one. I was going every day, trying to achieve it every day, and striving regardless of what the obstacles might be. It meant a lot to me. I wanted to go back for surgical tech. The lessons being taught were excellent, plus, they give you the knowledge and skills that enable you to move on and evolve.

I enjoyed the fact that Concorde Career College would help me with my payment plan. I knew what area I wanted to study and my admissions counselor Rusty was really great. He helped me decide what I wanted to do, how I was going to do it, and when was the best time to do it. To be a successful student, you have to pay attention in class. However, I wish that they would be more selective in their student body. A lot of their students were not determined. At some point, the students I met going to school were all miserable so being more selective in who we accepted into our student body would be great.
