Set up for a delivery for this Friday 05/26 for my wife to receive on her day off since I work nights and sleep during the day. I was dead asleep on 05/25 when the delivery men decided to call me a bunch of times to wake me up a little before 1pm. Explained the delivery isn't supposed to be until the next day and I was sleeping for my shift at the hospital and not dressed to come outside at that moment. I was then threatened that if they have to take it back today to deliver tomorrow when we would have been ready to receive it, it "has a good chance of being damaged."

I was then told if I called to complain they would charge me for the inside delivery that I was told was included anyway with this delivery. I even had stressed on the phone when I set up the appointment that I needed to do it when my wife would be available. Would they enjoy being woken up at 1am for a delivery with threats? I called the person who I scheduled the delivery with to complain despite the threats to not do so and they did not seem very concerned with the incident.

Never called to say they received the shipment and I could come get it. Had no idea when that dock was open and the hours they gave me were wrong. Were rude on the phone every time I called the 1 800 number. Worse shipping place ever.

    They give you a day and say they will be there, then no call no show. We had to assemble a pallet outside and wrap it only to find out they were not coming. Then we had to take it apart to reassemble it another day so we could have a different company pick it up. They refused to make any effort to remedy the situation even though we had a remedy that would take a total of 10 minutes of the driver's time. Go with XPO and pay the extra amount for the outstanding service.

    This company is the best at being the slowest freight company available today. ETA was one week and they are on their second week with no update. Customer support sucks and are not helpful at all. They continuously pushed back the delivery date and at times don’t even know where it is. If you’re looking for late delivery dates, poor support, and additional stress…keep using this company and enjoy the headache.

    Ordered a small package from California to Georgia. Estimated delivery was in 5 days. It has been more than 3 weeks and they are still have not delivered it to me. Trying to get an update and all that you can get is that there is bad weather. Absolutely not worth to spend your time and money. Worst experience ever.

    We had a pallet to ship from Canada to the USA for a customer. YRC picked up the pallet from our warehouse, and then dropped it back off at our warehouse 3 days later saying they could not complete the shipment (it never left Calgary). I was advised to file a refund request, which I did, and have not received a refund almost 2 months later (received excuses that they're busy). I've filed a dispute with our credit card. My advice is to pay the difference and go with a better carrier to avoid this hassle.

    YRC picked up a shipment for me Feb 2 that had a Feb 7 delivery. It is now Feb 19 and my items are still floating around somewhere in the YRC system. I have been given every excuse known to man. My business depends on this delivery but they just don't care. Save yourself a pile of aggravation and go someplace else. They deserve no stars at all.

    I purchased from a company and they decided to use YRC to deliver the products. This company is the worst. Empty promises and poor customer service is the name of the game with this company. 3 failed delivery promises caused a loss of materials that needed to be packaged with the failed delivery. No Communication and a very laid back delivery style. If this works for you then wow I need to be in your business. This one costs us a lot of money. I will not do business with any company that uses them for freight.

    I paid for 1-day expedited delivery, but it got stuck at the pickup terminal for days! Then it got lost for a few days... then it appeared in the wrong state... and it was delayed several times on the way back. 1-day shipping was delivered in 14 days, which caused a costly production shutdown on my end. What's the best part? They won't refund the expedited shipping fees because "Covid." It is 2023, but they have continued to suspend all performance guarantees because of "Covid". Next time I will use a more accountable shipper.

    We shipped a trade show booth, from a convention. YRC lost the shipment, and the replacement cost is roughly $8,000. YRC has admitted liability and has offered to pay us $47.50, based on their internal calculations. Additionally, I will need to submit a letter if I plan to not pay the invoice for shipping, or the unpaid balance will go to collections. DO NOT USE YRC/YELLOW FREIGHT.
