Lack of photos. I have emailed customer service and the answer I got was "some members are shy". Well, if 90% have no photos, I do not feel I should be paying $500 to not see who I may want be connecting with.

Make sure you read the fine print when subscribing- I am currently trapped in a year subscription for 60 dollars a month- unable to cancel. The ph number to eHarmony is out of service. I did not find this site helpful.

EHarmony is a scammer's paradise! And eHarmony’s business model borders on extortion. I’m writing this review to in order to help other folks avoid eHarmony! I regret subscribing. Stay away from eHarmony.

Eharmony app has fake and inactive female subscribers with many profiles that are missing photos. The so called “feature” only uploads profiles with missing photos that when clicked on delivers a message saying, “account has been removed,” Many scammers on their introduction asking site repeatedly attempt to request the man’s cell number. Combined, I have reported and have blocked at least 40 suspicious profiles to Eharmony’s customer service within a span of one week.

Complete crap. Do not sign up!!! All but one person was legit out of 40 messages in a month!!!! Complained for a refund and they refused and still charging card after cancelation. If was able to give a zero I would.

As a disappointed subscriber, I honestly can't recommend eHarmony. It's incredibly expensive for what you get, and the customer service is frustratingly unhelpful. The majority of profiles seem fake, and the site doesn’t even require or prioritize photo verification through SMS — which should be a basic step to ensure people are real.

I even tried adding a simple note to my profile asking that anyone who contacts me have their photos SMS verified, and eHarmony removed it. They wouldn’t even allow me to take that small precaution for myself. I've been using the platform for three months now (with three more to go), and in that entire time, I’ve only come across one verified profile. It honestly feels like eHarmony is more focused on collecting subscriptions than providing a safe, genuine dating experience. They don’t seem to care about the quality of their platform or the authenticity of their users. I expected better.

The matches on Eharmony are few. You start talking to someone and I learned to wait 2 or 3 days because they most likely would be blocked. Eharmony will not give you any basic information on why the person was blocked from the site. All they say is that they violated the terms of the site. I wondered if it was because the guy asked too early to meet/exchange phone numbers. I was talking to someone for two weeks and then they were blocked. I continued talking to him to learn he was a scammer. All they had to say was his profile wasn't legitimate. I don't think this is good customer service. You are there to protect and serve me the customer and you can't give me a basic reason the person is blocked without violating their privacy. Why are so many men blocked? That tells me the screening processing is non-existence. Buyer beware.

Things start very easy when one first gets online, fills profiles, questions and so on. Site to seem too good, the issue is price even with a 50% discount which is only on the first month, and that lowest available one can't faces of other users; the cost is very high. They want new subscribers to pay a few months in advance, Can Not try say for one month and see things work out. Common sense tells us to test drive the site prior to committing lots of Dollar$. The Bottom line is that profit is the most important thing to those that run the site, not the membership finding a match. If I remember right they want a payment of over One Hundred dollars, before one can even see the face of a possible match.

9 of 10 profiles on eHarmony are fake. Has eHarmony has become a phishing site. I continuously report the scam profiles, they delete them, but the amount of fake profiles continues to my very high. It's very frustrating and a huge waste of time and energy to even bother getting on the site. Don't waste your money - or time with this site!

Most of the profiles are fakes or have no pictures. Some profiles are bots that want you to call them or email them. eHarmony is a complete rip off. They will not refund your money if you want to cancel your subscription. eHarmony is literally stealing from you.

eharmony author review by Mark Brooks

eHarmony is the largest dating site geared specifically towards long-term relationships and marriage minded singles. They claim to be responsible for over 500 new marriages every day in the US.

      • In-depth entry questionnaire: eHarmony asks all of its members a little more than 300 multiple choice questions before allowing them to enter into their ranks. This in-depth questionnaire is geared at giving the site enough information to help provide you with qualified potential matches.

      • No Searching: In sharp contrast to other dating sites, eHarmony does not allow members to search directly for matches. Instead, it uses the answers from the questionnaire to provide you with a selection of daily matches that should be compatible with your needs and desires in a partner.

      • Guided Communication: Instead of sending off an email or wink like you would do on most sites, eHarmony takes members through 4 steps of guided communication before allowing you to continue with open communication with a new match. The guided communication is designed to help assure compatibility and that you don't waste energy on bad matches.
