The lady that helped me was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. She recommended me makeup which was compatible with my skin, I don’t remember her name but her Cashier ID Number was ** on my receipt, I was really happy with her service she provided.
I went to the MAC store in Columbia Mall in Maryland on December 28, 2022. I walked in and this pleasant young women approached me and started to ask questions about what wanted in a make-up. She chose the right color and applied it to my face. I was happy with her color choice and purchased it. While in the mall my husband and I went to a T-Mobile store. Someone pick up my bag while I was distracted. When I got home I call the Mac store and explained my dilemma. The lady that sold it to me remember me and said the she would people in the store on alert for returns.
I was call early the next morning and told that someone was trying to return my products with a receipt with my name on it. She called security and they were escorted out. I came to get my bag and was greeted with a smile and she was happy I got my products back. I appreciate her professional and the fact she was honest in returning my products. We need more people like her.

I ordered 2 items for a total $40.20 and paid with PayPal. The next day, Mac refunded my $40.20 and recharged me $45.47 with no explanation or reasoning. I approved a charge of 40.20, I did not approve 45.47. Currently in dispute to get my almost five dollars left. Will never order online again, will only buy Mac in-store where I pay what I think I’m going to pay.
I am having the worst experience with MAC Cosmetics. How do I start? By the end of August, I came through an online commercial that MAC Cosmetics were offering 3 free products if you buy 3. I was excited and immediately took advantage of the offer and ordered 3 products. However, to my expectation, I only received 2 free products as the third product was out of stock. So I waited for a couple of days for them to ship the third product and because I didn't receive it, I decided to return the entire shipment.
I received my order on 30-08-2022 and I returned it on 04-09-2022. Since then, I have been struggling to get a refund of Rs. 7650 from them. I have submitted my bank details on Shopper's Stop as they sent out a google form, I shared it manually through an email to MAC Cosmetics and I shared again an email to Shopper's Stop. It has been a dreadful experience and I would highly recommend people to not buy from MAC Cosmetics. Please just give me money back!! I don't have the products, I don't have my money.
Mac Cosmetics—love their eyeshadows, disappointed with their lipsticks (color never matches the photo) and stunned by their outdated return policy. Um, I have to call a customer service agent to initiate a return? Are you kidding me? Why? Every store in existence in the year 2022 allows a customer to request a pre paid return label online. Mac says you can text your request; they do not respond to a text. So you have to call and speak with an agent for 10 minutes in order to beg for a label. Sure, whatever. Far better to order from Amazon where all products, Mac and otherwise, can be returned with ease.
Mac has been on the market for a long time. So, I really like this brand for really good quality. There are all the necessary products. The only downside is I would like more trendy and interesting shades in my makeup…
Recently I shopped from the Mac Store at Terminal 3, Delhi Airport. There I met Mr. **, who was such a benign and knowledgeable person in terms of the MAC products. He reviewed my skin type thoroughly and advised the products accordingly. I was literally surprised with his immense knowledge in the field. No one has ever given such in depth knowledge about the products for my skin type.
I visited the Atlanta Airport MAC store in need of lipstick. Upon asking the sales associate for a recommendation, I purchased Burnt Spice. It turned gray. I was told, All Sales Final, No Refunds, No Exchanges. The sales associate even called a girl from the back to see how gray my lips were from the burnt spice color. I contacted MAC online and was told to see the store. I was in an airport so buyer beware, they are not legit stores or products obviously.
Mac Cosmetics gave me the worst customer service (call center) of all time. From such a well-established brand!! highly disappointed..!! The representative barely understood my complaint and then got frustrated at me(!) She was not at all audible with the hazy phone line they (company) gave her (Stephanie S). The in-store representatives were however very professional and great. No doubt in that. It's the calling center that needs more attention from the management.
I writing this review because I am very disappointed, MAC Cosmetics disappointed me on a very important valentine vacation, and the customer service that I received from M.A.C., I placed my order online because I don’t have a M.A.C. store in my area. I ordered over $100 and 3 weeks before going on vacation. I ordered on M.A.C. website. Also states ships within 7-10 business days. I placed my order 1/25/21 and received confirmation. MAC; “pleased to inform you that your items are available, and we begun to processing your order”. Expected ship 1-28-21. Once shipped you will receive a shipped Tracking number."
Tracking # received but could not be tracked, I called customer service. They said give a few more days. Still no package. Left to go on vacation 2-11-21. (No package or date of delivery). Received my order after my vacation 2-17-21. Called customer service. They said “we are sorry for your inconvenience, and we will send you a return label, and you can locate a drop off box, after we receive your package we will refund your money”. After waiting 3 weeks for my order how can I trust your shipping method/process for a refund. M.A.C. Cosmetics online you are not worthy of my time, and I would like to provide advice to others, don’t turn to M.A.C Cosmetics if you are needing to replace your cosmetic and don’t rely on M.A.C. for an important vacation and want to look your best for a very important event. No thank you MAC!
