I had heard the product I love was being discontinued but I received an ad that the shade I love was back in stock for a limited time so I immediately ordered it. My package arrived today but I received the wrong shade. When I spoke with customer support to make the exchange, assuming it was a packaging mistake, I was told the shade I wanted was sold out. The only issue is that it's still showing as in stock on the website, meaning they know that it is out of stock and are still allowing people to purchase it. And rather than canceling the order, they are sending you the wrong product intentionally to still keep your money.
I have screenshots of a customer service representative even admitting it. Not to mention the customer service representative gave an attitude and was incredibly unfriendly. While I love this product, I will absolutely no longer support whatever shadiness is happening at this company now and I would recommend you do the same.

I am 76 years old and I use very little makeup. My daughter bought me the Baremineral Complexion renew as a birthday gift. I enjoyed using it. When it was over, I took the empty tube to the nearest Ulta store and bought a tube just like that. It stayed in my make up drawer till I emptied the previous one. When I did open it up, it poured out as liquid instead of the paste like texture.
Today, I took it to the Ulta store in Port Orange Florida from where I bought it and asked for an exchange of the same product. The sales person squeezed the tube into their waste basket to confirm the liquid consistency (it poured out as liquid) and then said that she could not give a refund or a replacement without a receipt. No replacement for the defective product! I called the Customer service number. The lady who answered my call, Micah, said that they will not refund or replace and that I have to get it only from the retailer who sold it to me! Defective product, verified by retailer, but no recourse!

I am one more person who tried to purchase something that never arrived. I tried reaching out for a status update several times, and they always brushed me off and told me they couldn’t give me any more information until 3 weeks after (when my product was supposed to be delivered? Even though it said standard shipping). When I reached out on the date they specified, they told me they never had the products I ordered in the first place. I believe that this company is investing our money and profiting upon it, and seriously upsetting everyone involved. Why couldn’t they tell me those things were out of stock earlier? Why couldn’t they explain why I couldn’t use the order number to look up my order status online? We have been lied to and I am upset. I don’t think I can trust their products from other stores either, considering the experience I had with the company itself.

I frequently purchase bareMinerals products online. This particular time it had been 10 days and I had not received a shipping notification. I called customer service and was told they had a glitch in processing my order however the funds were taken from my checking account. I explained why I needed the foundation within 5 days at this time. I was told she would cancel the order and was not empathetic. I then requested her to send it expedited as I had a wedding to go to and would be completely out of my make up by then at which time she simply said no that she would not be able to do that even though it was their mistake. I then called back to see if I could speak to someone else (called back 3 times) and no one would answer. Extremely frustrating and not helpful at all! I will be looking for a new foundation as bare Minerals does not care about their consumers!

I placed an order from BareMinerals.com on 1/27/23. I received an email with a tracking number but when I went on the site it said, “backend service is unavailable, unable to load order history.” When I didn’t receive my order by 2/9/23 I sent an email requesting shipping information. They sent a reply stating my order was already processed and shipped and I should receive it by 2/14/23. Feb. 14th came and went with no order. I sent another email with no reply from them. I called customer service on 2/16/23 and was told the order never shipped because they didn’t have one of the items.
They lead me to believe my order was coming this whole time. I had to send 3 emails and make 1 phone call to find out I wasn’t getting my order and would be issued a refund. I wasted 21 days waiting for my order when they could have acknowledged the order never shipped and wasn’t going to ship. So far no refund, we’ll see. So disappointing and unacceptable. I will never order from this website again.

I had placed an order from bareMinerals.com that promised 2 day shipping. I did receive an order number but nothing since. I tried to search my order and it says backend not available. I waited some time and then emailed customer service to see if I had indeed placed an order and when it would be shipped. They instead canceled my order in response to my email. I then placed another order recently with the Valentine offer of 2 day shipping. It is the same deal.... I love these products but I am so disappointed in the website. I just wrote them to go ahead and cancel this new order. I am not getting as much of a sale but I did order some of what I wanted from the Ulta and Sephora sites. I highly recommend NOT to order directly from the bareMinerals site. You will NOT receive your products. People are still waiting in February for orders/refunds placed in December. That is unacceptable.

I have also been scammed by the Bare Minerals website and "customer service" department. After trying to place an order through the website twice on 11/26/22 (submitting my cc info both times), I never received an order confirmation. I called customer service; there was no record of my order. The agent I spoke to placed an order on my behalf and sent a confirmation email with an order# and tracking#. That's all I got. Since 11/28/22, USPS says it's awaiting a package to ship. After 5 emails and 2 phone calls to BM, the customer service agents still say the company is updating their system, and to be patient. When I called again on 1/8/23, the agent promised to refund my $ and send an email in 24 hours to confirm the details of our conversation and my refund. That too was a lie. I strongly suspect the company is experiencing a cyber attack and is unwilling to admit it.

Echoing other recent reviews. Placed an order in November, it’s been over 2 months now and no delivery. Emailed multiple times, which they ghosted me on all with zero reply. Called in and spoke to someone who said they are having issues with their system and cannot access ANY information about orders. They said they’re “working on it”, and it’s been months now with zero update. I suspect their system was hacked by ransomware, and that’s why they’ve lost access to their systems. I fear my personal confidential details have compromised. I doubt they’ll ever tell us what actually happened. At this point I feel scammed. I will be calling my credit card company to dispute my $100 order, so that I can actually get a refund. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Similiar to another review placed order on website almost a month ago and products still not shipped. Emailed 5 times and one response was received about they cannot find my order as the website is being updated. I called and spoke to someone that spoke broken English and kept repeating her responses as if she was reading prompts from a paper. I asked her how long it takes to update a system as it has been almost a month. Also if they cannot ship anything and find orders how are they checking inventory and allowing consumers to order some of the closeout holiday collection items without inventory control? I also asked her if their system is down how could the system charge anyone for anything? Because they had ZERO problems taking my money.
I told her that she needed to relay to whomever is in charge that they need to take their website offline, if they cannot ship out anything. Or at least be honest and place a disclaimer on site that BEWARE ALL ORDERS PLACED HAVE NO SHIP DATE AND NO TIMELINE HOWEVER MONEY WILL BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY. I then said, "So it could be another week or month and I'm supposed to be ok with that?" She said, "I am so sorry but again the system is updating etc." Very misleading and very frustrating. They should not take anyone's money until they have a functioning website. If the system is updating how can they take our money?

I ordered makeup from the website on 11/22/2022 and I was charged that same day. As of today 1/4/2023 I have still not received makeup nor a refund. I have been trying since December 12, 2022 to get this issued resolved. I have made numerous phone calls and have been told their system is updating. I got the same excuse today when I called. I have asked for a supervisor to call me which has still not happened. I was told today they don't have supervisors anymore. I have sent 5 emails that have also been ignored.
