Company offered me $215.00 for my Galaxy S4 Sprint phone online. 5 weeks after I sent them my phone, I received an email from them offering me $32.00 and claiming it was a fair price for my phone. I checked the other online sites and found that the average price offered was 95.00. Why did it take them 5 weeks to receive the phone in the return box they sent me. The next day I called and asked them to return my phone. Their response was that my order had been processed and they could not return my phone. What kind of company doesn't return your phone when you reject their offer. Beware they are unfair and dishonest...
I ordered a dryer timer on September 20, 2013. It has not arrived. I called the number for Laptopsforless and got "mailbox is full"... I tried live chat and it said leave a message so I did. I got back an email saying, "Hmmm, the order was cancelled". I tried live chat again by clicking on the email I had just received. Tanya came online and I explained the situation. She said the order was cancelled. I told her the money had been taken from my bank account and I never cancelled the order. Her reply was to restate the order was cancelled and she would contact her "accounting department" to issue a refund. I told her I did not want the order cancelled, I needed the part and I paid $14.95 for postage for the item to get here by September 25th. She repeated, "The order was cancelled. I will contact our accounting department," and then she disconnected the chat... No good bye, have a nice day, NOTHING!
I doubt I will ever see my money again. I suggest if you need a part, go elsewhere!!! I now have to go find the part for my dryer somewhere else too and will have to pay for it again!! I did not have enough money for a repair person in the first place, that is why I bought the part to install myself... Now with having to purchase the part twice, I could have afforded the repair person in the first place! I am irritated!
On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, I ordered a Whirlpool control unit #8182695 and paid extra for 2nd day delivery (order number **). When the part did not arrive by Friday the 26th, I sent an email to complain and ask for status. On Monday, April 29th, I received a reply from Tanya stating the order came in after the cutoff time for same day shipping and that it would ship the following day. You'd think that if they couldn't ship the same day, that they wouldn't charge for it. My part arrived 6 days after I ordered it on Tuesday, April 30th. The part, while not advertised as re-manufactured, was in fact a refurbished control unit and part was dead in the box.
I immediately requested an RMA online and repackaged the unit. Having received no email response by the following morning, I called LaptopsForLess.com to inquire. I was told that my RMA would be approved and that I would receive a prepaid return shipping label and instructions by email, which I did. I shipped the unit back out the same day on May 1st. A week passed without any sign of my replacement. I again called LaptopsForLess.com and was told that the unit had been tested, verified bad and that a replacement would ship out on Thursday. When I inquired if it would ship out 2nd day delivery as I had paid for, I was told it would.
On Wednesday, May 15, I called to again inquire and complain because the unit had still not been received. I was told again it missed the cutoff time for same day shipping. The part finally arrived on Wednesday afternoon. I paid $14.54 for 2nd day delivery when they would have shipped it for free otherwise. I was robbed $14.54 because on neither occasion did they honor the 2nd delivery that I paid for. I've been doing business on the internet almost from the day it existed and I have never dealt with a more dishonest and unfriendly entity. I urge anyone who needs anything they sell to shop around. It's certainly worth a few dollars more to deal with a reputable and honest business.
I purchased a motherboard from LaptopsForLess and it failed after 6 months due to bad solder joints. I was told it only had a 30-day warranty and I stupidly bought another one from them that only lasted 6 weeks after install. After a few attempts, I got to talk to a representative of their customer service dept. I was told it was beyond their 20 days. I told them the product was crap and I would be posting my complaints online for others to view. The response was, "We look forward to that!" and they hung up the phone. From other complaints I have now read, I see that no customer service is their standard policy even if things are in their so-called warranties. Stay clear of these people or you will be disappointed.
On May 25, 2011 I purchased a battery for my Sony Laptop Computer from "Laptopsforless.com". I received the battery on June 1, 2011. I installed the battery the same day and the computer went to a black screen and would not boot up. I called and was given an RMA # for returning the battery. The battery was received and signed for on June 7, 2011.
As of today I have not seen a refund and have called and emailed customer service many times. I called the local city council and was told this is not the first time that they have received calls about this company. There are many listings on the internet referring to Laptops For Less' poor business practices. I just want a refund for the battery I sent back as it is not compatible with Sony laptops.

Ordered a "new" Laptop computer battery. First one would only charge to 45%. Sent it back for a replacement. This "new" battery didn't get above a 1% charge. Tried several times to call and email the company, (two months now), with no answer.
When I did get someone on the telephone, after an hour, they put me on hold and then hung up on me. Now I am out the $64.99 for the battery and $16.44 for shipping back the first battery, (which was supposed to be paid for by Lap Tops For Less. Beware of this company.
I ordered a laptop battery online from Lap Tops For Less. They shipped me the wrong battery. I sent back for correct battery but they made no attempt to replace but are making refund minus 25% restocking fee. The battery I received had labels on box to indicate it has been returned twice before. This seems to be a common practice of them as indicated by e-opinions. So this company has sold this item 3 times for total of 75% of the purchase price and still has the item to scam someone else. I do not have much damage other than aggravation. I just want to expose a possible scam. Even though I have little loss, this common practice from this company could result in large profits.
I purchase TV lamps on 4/19/2010 from Laptop for Less. I paid for my order to come overnight to me as they have free delivery on purchase on item over $50, but I did not want to wait 10 days to get my order so I opt to pay for the overnight delivery. I receive the lamp on 4/20/2010 but it looked like a used one and it did not worked. I call them on 4/21/10 to let them know it did not work and that I will be sending it back to them and they said they would send another one to me for which I should have gotten on 4/22/10. I did not get it on 4/22.
I waited until 4/23 and I still did not get my lamps. I called them Saturday to find out what was going on and got a recorder came on stating that they (Laptop) is not open on the weekend. I called on Monday morning 4/26/10 to let them know that I did not get my lamp and that's when they told me they did not send it out but that they would, I should get it the next day. I told them to cancel my order and to send my money back because I paid to get my shipment the next day, not six days later.
They did canceled my order but they wanted me to wait 30 days to get my refund which I told them I should not have to wait because they are the ones that messed up, not me. After a lot of phone calls and emails, they decided and the customer rep hanging up the ones or cutting me on the emails. On 4/30, they claimed they refunded my money to my account but I would have to wait three more days before I can see it will be in my account.
On Monday 5/3, I check my email and I got one from them informing me that I was only getting a partial refund. I called to see why I was not getting all my money back since they are ones who mess the order up and I was told that they are keeping 25% of my money. I paid for my order to go overnight and if I did not called them on day five to let them know that I did not get my order, I would not have known that they still did not sent it to me because no one from Laptop for Less call to inform me that my order did not go out nor to apologize.
I would like for them to give me all my money back because they are the ones who did not follow through. I have been on the phone with them and they keep giving me the run around, I should not have to go through this because they had no problem taking the money from my account. I still do not have my money back or the use of my television. Emotionally, I am drained and stressed because I should not be going through this. I am aggravated and tired and I need your help. Thank you.
I ordered a product that guaranteed delivery in 7-10 business days. 17 days later, I was not able to contact a real person via the customer service number (I know it's fake, it always goes to voicemail). The online chat people were very dismissive, could not track the package, offered no solution, and denied me a refund. Still, I have no idea how to initiate the refund process with this company. This is horrible. The product I ordered is needed for work and I have lost money and time waiting for its delivery, not to mention the $20 I lost on the order with no sign of a refund.
