This laptop is worthless. The main reason: when you connect the laptop to your iCloud, it pulls all of your photos/videos and stores them on the hard drive, which is already tiny. I bought an external hard drive for storing items not going to my iCloud. My plan was to keep the hard drive empty. APPS also take up much more space on the hard drive than they do on an iPad or iPhone. You can have about a dozen apps before the hard drive is full. So who cares if the hard drive is full? Well you can't update the software when there isn't enough space; meaning, you can't complete any processes with other devices without current software. The machine is useless. For the price, you can get a great PC (any brand) that's more reliable and easier to maintain.

One year new MacbookPro and the battery is puffy to the point that the mouse pad doesn’t click anymore and the belly makes it wobbly when you type. Called support. They told me to bring my laptop to a 1 hour away Apple store that they would have changed my battery there. So I got an appointment, drove there, waited 20 minutes in line, to be told that they have to keep the computer in store for 3 to 5 days and they would give me a call when ready. Are you kidding me??? How am I supposed to work without it. I got an Apple because they were reliable, but now Apple has become a brand to avoid. Right?!

Much to my disappointment, my 2019 MacBook Air, which was moderately used and in very good condition, completely shut down this December, after less than a year and a half after its purchase. I had to pay Apple a 500 dollar fee (half the price of the computer) to have it restored, and was given little information about what the cause of this issue might be, given that the shut down seemed to be of no fault of my own. I've been a loyal customer to Apple for the last ten years because I've always been greatly impressed with the service and quality and durability of the products, but given this issue, I will think twice about making my next purchase with Apple. I own a ten year old HP laptop that was half the price of the MacBook and has never had issues.

This is a very reliable computer and I have had it since 2012. They only criticism I have is that Apple could make an effort to make it equipment a little less complicated and user friendly. Geeks love their products because they like figuring everything out all the time but if you are like me, it would be nice just to be able to get the computer to do what you want without a lot of research.

I love my Mac Desktop for MULTIPLE reasons, many more of which will come up the more I use my computer. But, if I were to narrow the love of my Mac down to three points they are simply 1- I feel I can do ANYTHING with my Mac. Across the board, whatever comes to mind, if I want to do it, my Mac has a feature to aid me in accomplishing my goal. 2- My Mac very rarely encounters trouble/bugs/attacks etc reducing my stress/frustration levels, immensely. 3- if and or when I run into difficulty i.e. I want to do something with my Mac and I don't know how or it has a faulty software (which so far has been a result of something I downloaded) Mac CUSTOMER SERVICE is phenomenal - PHENOMENAL! They will hold my hand and stay on the phone with me for as long as I want. They pleasantly receive my calls regardless the number of times I call them. This incredible support, alone, makes Mac the best computer to own in my book.

Wore out my MacBook Pro between school and work; then the OS upgrade made my MS Office software unusable. Since I had to buy new MS Office anyway, I elected to trade in an old iPad mini and my Pro. Trade-in process was easy, and I got a bit off of the Air. Unfortunately there were two core-system problems with the unit, but Tech Support spent HOURS on the phone helping me through it. The unit has functioned flawlessly since then. When I used PCs, they were often back at the manufacturer for repair. Not so the Mac products. I got the Pro when I was going through a Master's program, and have never looked back.

I like the Apple MacBook line especially MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air with the 13" screens. Both have been great laptops to use for home and business applications. The added features of the MacBook Pro for the screen resolution, the 8 core CPU and unified RAM choices up to 16GB. The touch bar is another good feature for quick access to changes and updating my choices. I think the one I like most is the aluminum body. It gives a great quality look and for me the durability as well. Overall a MacBook is a great choice!

This my second MacBook Pro. The first one lasted for 7 years with no issues until a black screen appeared and wouldn't go away. Best Buy's team could not repair it, so I purchased a new one. It is currently 1 1/2 years old, and even though this one has more memory, sometimes it spins and takes a while to open a page. On a consistent basis, I delete files, photos, and empty the trash can of items that I no longer need. Sometimes, a black screen appears and I have to close the lid for a while until it goes away.

Everything works fine. Only negative is the poorer quality of battery in Macbook. New battery only lasts about 5 hours before requiring recharging. Previous Macbook battery lasted 12+ hours under full use.

I have an Apple 27" display IMAC. The system works great and I am able to have multiple windows open simultaneously. It is very fast and dependable. I have only had it slow down maybe a half dozen times in three years. Of course that was when I had a lot of things open at a time or it an unrecognized option. IBM PC is way too slow for everyday processing. Apple isn't the best for gaming graphics, but it saves hours of waiting for business programs and apps.

Macbooks are expensive, but I'm on my second one in eleven years and they are quite simply the most practical and useful computers I have ever owned. They are reliable, they do not have unnecessary failures or programming issues like I run into with my company-provided Dell laptop, and once every four or five years they simply need a new battery and that can be done rather affordably.

I went to purchase the MacBook Pro and the staff at the store knew I was on a tight budget! They found this MacBook and were quick about getting the purchase done in a timely manner! This MacBook was worth every penny! Great specs, easy to use Touch Bar and fantastic speaker quality! For a budget friendly MacBook Pro, I highly recommend!

I love Applecare which has always come to my rescue with any computer issues. Having great support is important to me and you can speak to actual people. You have to go through different levels of support, but at least they eventually get the job done with smart people on the higher echelons of service.

I like Apple MacBook very much as it is held up for years. I have almost all Apple products and although it like every other brand has negatives, I’d never go to another brand. I spent a lot of money on Microsoft surface book which I regret doing as Microsoft is too glitchy.

I called to get a help to cancel the monthly subscription fee the Apple was charging me twice and despite being on the call with 3 different department for 33 minutes, they couldn't figure out how to help me. I was very disappointed that I wasted my time with them. I am wondering why don't company like apple hire professional people who know what they are doing!

After years of suffering through windows I finally made the switch to a MacBook and it's like night and day. So much more user friendly and generally just a great deal, more fun to surf with, the system is much more intuitive.

I love Apple. They have done a wonderful job at creating brand awareness and keeping their products top notch. I love how quickly my Mac charges and holds its charge. They have created a great computer and I will always stay loyal to them.

Mac is a decent computer with a great operating system. They are not without fault however. The OS will crash on occasion. It is great for video and graphics but won’t run all of the programs that PC will. They are fast and reliable.

Macs are pretty expensive, but their performance plus the support that Apple gives its customers throughout the life of the device makes the high price tag absolutely worth it. I won't work on anything but an Apple device anymore.

Love the equipment itself. Not all that terribly happy with the company. Of course I do have a much older model as far as computers go. I have found their support pages to be unfriendly and difficult to navigate.

Ordered a laptop for Christmas. Came in with a broken screen. Reached out to their horrible customer service with empty promises. For a trillion dollar company with incompetence customer service, poor logistics, and empty promises, I will keep to windows. Where does this company actually invest their money? Capital projects?

In March 2018, I replaced my slowing, but functional 2010 MBP with a 2018 MBP that has been a lemon. The keyboard is being replaced under warranty. Now the screen has failed due to a design flaw in the flex cable and cannot be fixed...only replaced for $675.00!! Warranty ended after one year. Genius Bar representative was very familiar with this issue. There are over 1/2 million YouTube hits on this well documented flaw that Apple should fix for free. They have added 2 mm to the flex cables on newer models, but leave faithful customers like me with the costly repair bill. No more Apple loyalty.

I hope I can give 0 rating. I used to be a huge Apple fan since the first iPhone, my first MacBook Air was used for 10 years with 0 issues. But apple has changed. I bought a MacBook Pro 13” 2017. In 3 years the computer shut down and stop working, $2500 computer for 3 years. no warranty now. I sent my MacBook to Apple to repair, first day they said it was a battery issue and it will cost me $300, and the next day they said they need to replace my logic board and that brings the cost to $1000 - with $1000 you can buy a decent windows PC.
Then I went down a rabbit hole of logic board fixing - just like H&M and Zara, they would rather create more landfills and pollute the environment than building long lasting products. I am so disgusted by the consumerism and capitalism. Apple is the highest valued company in the world and they has more than 35% profit margin because of your support. I don't know how anyone works at Apple can sleep at night. They intentionally designed the hardware in an integrated way to make it harder to repair. Don't be a fool and fall for their traps. I’m definitely no longer buying or recommending Apple products.

These Apple laptops and apple desktop computers are yuppie computers. They have less infections than the Microsoft DOS computers. But Apple computer parts are not reproduced 5 years after you buy the computer. There is planned obsolescence where they anticipate that you buy another computer in 5 years. HP laptops and desktops used to last for 7-10 years if you changed out the hard drives. I'm going back to HP. Apple is simple to hook up. Also Apple has to be repaired at Apple stores only located in big cities. Microsoft computers can be repaired anywhere in any city size. Apple laptops have expensive cables that wear out. HP cables never wore out. Apple is a big ripoff promoted by people with more money than sense. They are easier to hook up than HP computers. No they aren't better than HP. HP will last longer.

Bought Macbook Pro in 2017 for my wife, she is master degree in computer since, so she use it better than average person like myself, no issues until 2019. It just can not be started, take it to Apple dealer in Riyadh and was still under warranty, and they found motherboard or whatever they call it burst and need to be replaced, and they did, but without explanation why would it be damaged within only 2 years of use, one year later the screen starting showing horizontal lines, take again to the dealer and they say display system need to be replaced and cost is almost the price of a new laptop with better quality than apple, I contacted Apple Care and explained to them but they did not care to investigate or give us justification. I really dont recommend this apple with these prices.
