Wow. Just wow. I rarely write reviews by the way but this one is necessary. Been with this company for a year already and it's not from choice. Getting your number transferred out of it is a hassle, so beware! Where should I begin? Called to cancel my plan multiple times because their app just simply sucks. I am personally using the business app feature on my personal phone.

    - Calls don't come through when you're on the phone with someone.
    - Customer cannot hear me on the phone which causes the customer's frustration so I'd have to call them through a normal line.

    - When on the line with a customer if I'd exit the screen then they can't hear me.

These are the big things which definitely makes communication between the company and our customers very difficult. Now let's get to their customer service.... Oh boy... So when I called to cancel at first I was transferred to a nice lady, I shared my frustration with her regarding the performance of the app along the other issues such as pricing... Yeah the pricing, $50 a month, and that's just the beginning once you sign in it's "paid add-on features" crowd the entire menu, so when you try to look to change or edit something, even for someone like me who knows software development is hard to navigate on their site.

Anyways, I shared my opinions with her and told her there many other companies who are charging way cheaper for a much better system. She assured me she'd be able to help me out with deducting my price to $25 a month and transferred me to someone who would "help" me with some of the software issues I was having along with adding a couple add-ons to my system to ensure it was working well.

The worst customer service of my life, this guy had literally worst customer service I've ever seen. Saying he'd been working there for 25 years or whatever and he's sure that when you are on the other line on your phone the app won't trigger calls from Vonage. I felt like I was arguing with a child. Anyways, I end up saying screw that phone call and hung up. Just not worth dealing with. Business owners already have so much to do a phone system should be something to worry about anymore these days.

Vonage has been a terrible experience. My cleaning business relies on the ability to text with our customers. In early May the ability to text went down. It is November and it is still not restored. This has severely hurt my business. I have been reassured numerous times through email that it will be restored shortly. The most frustrating part of dealing with Vonage is that there is no way to speak to a customer service representative. The only option is to send an email. About a week later you will receive a general response that is no help to your situation. There is also no way to reply back to the email. I have never seen such a ridiculous company. I highly recommend you do not use Vonage.

We have been using Vonage for over three years, paying a premium compared to other providers because they once prioritized quality and reliability. Initially, they were relevant and had their operations together. However, over time, Vonage has become too bloated to prioritize customer needs. For over a month, Vonage failed to address a critical SMS outage, showing a clear lack of priority for their customers and an evident disregard for serious business standards. It’s unacceptable for a B2B service to remove SMS functionality without effective communication, timelines, compensation, or any real solution. Vonage has become too large and complacent, losing sight of what matters—its customers and its relevance in the industry.

We no longer recommend Vonage and strongly advise others to stay far away from a provider that no longer values its clients or its place in the industry. We’ve chosen to partner with a provider who takes their business as seriously as we take ours.

They were good as far as the actual up time. But since they like hiring third world unlikable people that can't speak proper English I have devoted my time and money to a company that supports and employs local. I will never go back to supporting a company that outsources their customer service.

We have been with Vonage Business for over 7 years. In the last year and a half tech support has gotten so bad I don't even bother trying to contact them. You get to wait on the phone for an hour or longer, chat takes sometimes 2 hours. The people don't know their own product anymore. Their texting features don't always work. As of now they have been down since 9/23/24. We have been having issues with our desk phones not working correctly for over a year now and Vonage has been no help. We just live with the issues all while paying $215/mo for poor service. I'm done. As of next week we will be using Dialpad.

Very disappointed in the service. We switched from Comcast to Vonage to save money and it is obvious that Vonage is a budget service. They could not get their Grandstream ATA to work properly and it is impossible get a live person on their tech support. Currently the SMS service is not working and when I used Two Factor Authorization, it took several login attempts before their system sent me to six digit code. I am now waiting for support, which you can only reach through a chat window, and I am in queue position 46 after waiting 8 minutes.

I have been very disappointed with this phone service for our business. We literally had phone outages for days at at time and then when we tried to reach someone to talk about the issues we could not even get through on their line. This happened multiple times over the 6 month period we had the service and since we were using this for our business that was a major issue. We have spent countless hours dealing with the problems only to get one resolved for another to come back up again. I have had another VOIP provider and that experience was not good either which is why I switched to this one, so I am not sure if it is just an issue with Internet phone providers or if it was the 2 companies we dealt with and just had the worst luck ever with them both.

I really do not leave negative reviews but felt the need to share since this was greatly affecting our business with missed calls that we were not getting, voicemails we could not return because we did not get those, and text services for appointments completely disabled for days at at a time. If this were a personal phone service it would have been frustrating but the impact of the poor service on our small business was significant and reflected poorly on our customer service with our clients, even though we were not able to control any of the service issues and had a difficult time with resolving them as well. I truly wanted to like this service and hoped our experience would be smooth and easy but it was the opposite, and when you are a business and you cannot be reached or reach out to your customers it reflects on your service not the phone provider unfortunately.

I'm a business customer and I just signed up. AFTER I signed the contract for voice and text they told me they are blocking all SMS messages due to fraud concerns. I can't run my business without text. Their customer service is time consuming and useless, and based on these other reviews I have a feeling I'll have a hard time ending the contract.

Worst support service. When you call them all they seem to be able to offer is a factory reset on VOIP bases. The admin system no longer takes edits or updates despite changing files/greeting. All around nightmare to use. It has become unusable.

Don't use Voyage business. They make you promises, you pay on time, and you don't receive their service. Try getting a hold of someone to help is a mission. I have been a client for over 25 years then, I opened my own business and decided to switch to business service, THE WORSE! VONAGE takes your money, but service doesn't work. I signed a contract for two years. Yes, they waived early termination fee and offered me $100 for my trouble, but I paid for over a year for their "service," for voice messaging, virtual voice secretary, but didn't work plus, phone would not ring. They would "fix" it after three hours on the phone with them, would work for a day or two and back to the problems. Not working. I lost money, time and my insanity. I am looking for and attorney to sue them. I have filed a complaint with the FCC. Case #**. My name is Danik **.
