Calls from 586-283-3000, started in February 2011 and still continue from this number until November 2011. I am on the "Do Not Call List," however, this does not stop person(s) unknown calling from this number. If you try to call the number it does not connect to anyone. I want the calls to stop pursuant to the "Do Not Call List".
I will file a complaint with the FCC and BBB if the calls continue. I doubt if the Michigan Attorney General will do anything, they have not done anything in the past for consumer protection in regards to unwanted phone calls and violations of the "Do Not Call List".
I keep receiving phone calls from this company, stating that there is a legal matter listed under my name and social security number. They will not give me any information and state that I need to call back in, to talk to the lawyer in charge of the lawsuit. When I call back in, I sit on hold and nobody answers the phone. They are calling 7-10 times a day and leaving messages stating that I must call back in. I have contacted my bank because this seems to be a scam of some type, trying to get my social security number.
I keep receiving several calls from this number 586-283-3000. They never talk. But I can hear music or talking in the background. Then, they hang up. If I call them back, the call doesn't go through. I think this is harassment and an attack on my privacy. They can call me, but I can't call them. There would be no reason to call me. I do not have any debt nor do I have past due that I owe. I want this constant harassment to stop. I work nights and I sleep during the day. They are waking me up constantly, and then hanging up. This spells harassment!
I was behind on my cable bill. I had advised a representative on the telephone last week (08/24/11), that I would pay my bill on Friday, (08/26/11). I neglected to pay the bill on that date. An alleged cable technician came to the house today (08/30/11), when my underage sons (age 16), were home and entered the home without my permission. The tech did not ask my son(s) if they were 18 years of age.
He came in the house and took 3 cable boxes and entered three rooms of my home. No agent notified me that a tech would be coming to my home and there was nothing signed or documentation left by the tech indicating he had entered my home to take the cable boxes. One of my sons told me he had asked if his parents were home and my son said that we were not home.
I do not know if this tech took any personal belongings. It is my understanding that cable company regulations prohibit a cable technician from entering a private residence without permission from the owner or the adult person who resides in the home.
Someone from a number registered to this company called my cell telling me they were from some lawfirm and that United States Payday Loans were suing me for an unpaid loan. I told the guy I have no such loans out nor had I EVER taken any loans from that company. He hung up the phone. Which brings me here... I thought it must be some kind of scam, but now, after reading all of these complaints, I'm positive. I'm not sure who to contact, because I doubt the phone company even cares as long as the bills are paid.
Wanted whomever reads this to know the number is 909 503 0684. I am going to call Allegiance Telecom though. If you get a call from this number, you need to contact your bank with the info. My bank told me they'd had several customers call about the same thing and that having the phone number helps. Also told me they hadn't heard THIS one before!!! So far, this is the only call I've received. However, per my bank, my calling in and alerting them to the situation so that they can document it, will make it easier for me to get my money back if these scammers take any from my account.

I got 2 calls from these people. The first asked if my name was Linette ** and then they asked for my SSN. I refused to give it to them, then asked them to put me on their do not call list. He said he would then hung up. A few hours later, my son answered my cell phone. The man on the phone said that I had 3 charges pending at the State of Ohio's Attorney General's office. My son gave the phone to me and the man read off my name, address and the last 4 numbers of my SSN. He told me that the charges stemmed from an online payday loan that I took out and never paid back. The charges were Grand Theft by deception, Theft by deception and Fraud. This man even knew my bank's name, not the right one, but close.
I told him that I never took out a loan with any online company and asked the name of the company. He side-stepped the question and reiterated the charges, telling me that he had proof that I had received the loan through bank records. I told him that my bank records would prove that I never received the loan. He asked me to email him my bank records. I told him that I didn't think that was a good idea because he had a foreign accent and I wasn't entirely sure that this wasn't a scam. I had to ask him twice to send me a written request for release of information and I would take it to the bank and have them send it to them. He didn't seem to like that idea, but after I repeated this several times, he said that he would send me one.
Afterwards, I reverse checked the phone number and wondered why the Ohio Dept. of Justice would have a California company call me. I believe if I had these charges on me, I'd be in handcuffs and in the Belpre City Jail right now. I've called the Ohio Dept of Justice and left a message and will call them back in the morning.
I receive annoying phone calls 2 to 7 times a day. When I answer, it indicated to put my password in. I have no idea who this is. I am afraid they are accessing my privacy, always after my voice mail. I have had enough stress from these annoying phone calls. I never had an account with this company.
They were trying to reach my daughter in the beginning, she did not have a cell phone and that was okay. But after she had gotten a cell phone, they would call about once a day, still to our number. Even after they had her number, they would still call our home. If they could not contact her, they would call us. Calling several times a day. My daughter said that they even have called 7 and 8 times in an hour. She had just made a payment to them less than two weeks ago. It has gotten so bad that I have threatened to sue them, but they will not stop.
This guy named Mr. Smith has been calling me everyday for 24 hours a day leaving no message if i don't pick up saying I owe $975.00 for some loan company and he wants the money now! He calls Monday through Sunday and I'm getting tired of it! I told him to send me information about this problem and that I will take care of it if it was true! He wanted me to pay him money now and then write a letter to the company i owe and tell them I will give them the rest on a certain date! I am tired of these calls and want this broken-English person to stop calling my house!
I get consistent and frequent calls weekly. If you answer, no one speaks, and if you don't, they do not leave a message. It has been happening for months. I have blocked my cell phone from getting advertisements but this hasn't seemed to stop them.
They have very poor service from the beginning; that was over 2 years ago! They even blamed President Obama for poor signal quality! On 3/31/10, a repair tech (Russell) came to replace the box, he almost dropped my TV on the floor. He installed the box. He did not check to see if it was working and he left. I called CS and told them what happened and also the box was not working. They told me that the tech (Russell) would come back and repair the problem. I told them I didn't want him back in my home because he was careless with my TV and installation. CS insisted he would be more careful.
He came back in the evening and had to replace the box. I was sitting helping my son with his homework while the cable was being fixed. Well, Russell left. The cable seemed to be working. The tech left so fast and he took my Wii gaming system and messed with it; there were controllers on the floor, it was unhooked, the system was laying on its side with the game hanging out half way. My home theater speakers were knocked down. I went to watch a DVD in my player and there was sound, no picture. I had to wait to call CS the next day because by that time they were closed.
I called and was very upset, repairman to his boss (Damon). His boss called me and I told him how Russell treated my electronics and I wanted a different tech to come to my home and hook my Wii back up and figure out why my DVD player was not working. The boss and I played phone tag, and when I tried to call the boss back, I was told they had no idea who Damon was. They gave me the run-around. Finally, Damon called me back. A different tech came out and realized that Russell had unhooked things he shouldn't have touched, it was a huge mess.
That got fixed, I thought. My TV does not work properly, the DVD player does not work properly, and my Wii game is scratched up. I am very frustrated with customer service not being able to connect me with the supervisor, or I call and tell them who I am and CS hangs up on me. The supervisor Damon and his employee came back to my home and set up dedicated lines for services, Damon the supervisor told me they would replace my HDMI cable that Russell messed with causing my DVD player not to work properly. I kept calling customer service to know when it would be replaced. Finally, after weeks of waiting, a tech came to my home (BTW he didn't come at the time I was promised). The tech replaced the wrong cable and now my TV is completely not working right! I called customer service that day to report the problem. I also have been trying to get the "tiling" problem fixed. I called 6 times that day, every time I called, they would tell me they would "e-mail" a supervisor to call me back. I also got the same response over a period of 3 days. Did anyone call me back? No!
Then yesterday, 6/21/10, a service tech came to my home to review my problems with my TV and my cable. He couldn't seem to fix the problem. He told me that he would go and see if it was an area wide problem and would get back with me. Have I gotten a phone call yet? The answer is no! Also while the tech was here, I let him know the wrong cable was replaced. I told him I wanted it fixed. He then told me he was not sure if it could be that he would contact "Damon", the supervisor. This was after he told me I would have to call customer service. I told him I was getting nowhere with customer service. I still have not heard from anyone from this company. My cable problem still is not fixed and my TV is still messed up. I told them I would have my husband hook up everything like it is supposed to be, but we can’t do that yet until everything on the cable company’s end to fix and replace like it should be.
The cable company has no problem shutting off service for non-payment, but refuse to deliver quality service. Also, their customer service, like I stated before, is awful, telling me lie after lie! And worst yet, hanging up on me, or you wait so long on hold then get disconnected and have to wait all over again. I spent more than half of my cell phone minutes dealing with their Customer Service, being on hold, hung up on, disconnected. Also, their customer service acts like they have no idea what their supervisors’ names are. I'm very upset and angry that they feel they can get away with such poor service all the way around!
They keep calling my cell phone and not leaving messages. When you call the number back, it is a constant busy signal. This is pure harassment and if it doesn't stop I will be filing a police report for stalking!
I keep getting called by 201-** but they do not leave any message. When I try to pick up, there is dead silence. There is no way to reach them back to find out what they want. What is going on? I am this close to reporting them to federal authorities (FBI, FCC, etc.). I insist that something be done about this. I am sure that what they are doing is illegal and I am sick of being harassed by them. Incoming calls debit against my cell minutes. This caused frustration and anxiety over not knowing why the calls come in or what they want.
This person called me at my job and started yelling at me saying I owed this money and I needed to fix it today or he would have me arrested. I couldn't understand him, he then transferred me to another person, this Mark who was cursing at me. I asked him to send me documentation through the mail. At this point he was talking so fast and loud in broken English that I could not get anything out of him. He would not tell me his location or what company he was with. He since then has called my supervisors at work 4 times cussing at them and threatening them.
How do you stop this? I'm afraid I'm gonna get terminated from my job over this. He has been told not to call but still continues to do so. My employers are very angry and telling me to make this person stop calling or I will be reprimanded but I am horrified and embarrassed,. I can't stop these people and all I want is to try to work this out without being cussed and screamed at, and I am not just gonna authorize these people to take money out of my bank account without some proof of legitimacy.
I get numerous calls a day from an individual that traces back to the above number and address. This individual states that I owe them $400 and that I need to pay them now before they take legal action against me. They will not tell me who they are or where they are calling from, they just want to deduct money from my account. Because I refuse to authorize the transaction they threaten and yell at me. They also refuse to send me any correspondence documenting what this $400 was and why I owe it to them. It is a nusiance and needs to stop.
This company called claiming to be a health insurance company! I tried calling to get some more information and no one answers the phone! I called my bank and they took money and have all my personal information, bank account and SS#. I then went to my bank and closed my account!

I have been receiving CALLS , MANY. Tonight 5/12/09 at 9:25pm from 954-653-2113 and they only leave a message for us to call back about our "timeshares". We do not answer the phone when it's marked "BLOCKED NAME" So we always get these messages on the machine. We do not have timeshares!! I finally reversed- look up on the computer and see that it's from Allegiance Telecom and so are a lot of other complaints.
Today, 4/15/09, this company has been calling & hanging up since 7:30 am my time ... non-stop, every 15 minutes.
I began receiveing calls from this number and I let it go to voice mail as I did not know this number. Today I attempted to call them back becasue they keep calling. When you call back it takes a long time to ring and when it does the message says you have reached a disconnected number. In looking at all these complaints on this site I did notice a couple of people mentioned looking into grant information. I also did that and I only agreed to the $1.95 charge for the CD of information to be sent to me. The person on the phone sounded like he was form India and he was very agressive about me accepting other offer and he would yell over me. I finally yelled at him to listen to me I only agree to the $1.95 information and nothing else and I ask him to confirm he understood that and he said yes. Then I look at my checking account and I had be debited and additional $7.95 and $39.95 by WWWMYGRANTSITENET 87749 LAS VEGAS NV. I called to get my money back and again the person was yelling over me and saying you were charged the $39.95 for the information. I told her I absolutely made it clear I wanted nothing but the $1.95 information that was offered. After arguing and threatening with reporting them to all the agencies I was refunded. It seems like a scam is going on here and they may be tied together. I like everyone else are worried what they might be able to do with the information they have. The calls from Allsgiance Telecom started after I dealt with the Grant people. I hope there is some way to put and end to this. It is very annoying and troubling as you cannot be sure what may come next.
My business line rang and when I answered, a gentlemen asked me if I was Merchel who social security number was (he stated my entire SSN). He wanted me to confirm if the information quote was correct, which I would not. I asked him who he was and he responded, I could call back to 213-995-3027. I have been receiving calls at least once or twice per day for the last month from a phone number that comes in on my caller ID as Michigan Call. Each time it is a hang up phone call. I have called the number back and am always told that the call cannot be completed as dialed. I attempted to do a reverse phone number search on the phone number and was informed (after spending $4.95) that it was a non-working number serviced by Allegiance Telecom. When I attempt to contact Allegiance Telecom at the above number, I receive no answer and there is no answering machine or voice mail available.
I get calls from this number constantly. I answer, and no one is there. I call back, and the number is no longer in service. I wonder how they got my number...its kind of creepy. I have them saved in my phone as A@@hole so I know its them calling. What kind of ponzi scheme are these jokers running? They have a cheesy generic website with all kinds of phony-baloney business type pictures copied and pasted everywhere with slogans like "business solutions" and "working smarter for you". Might as well be one of those sites that says "what you need, when you need it".
I keep getting a call from 201-353-3618, which says it is from Fax General (owned by Allegiance Telecom).
While checking my mail I recieved my house phone bill. Normally the bill is on $20.00 five for the basic home phone and $15.00 for my Internet Account. While walking up the stairs I noticed a charge of $795.49 for long distance. I was outraged due to the fact that I didnt have long distance on my phone. I called the phone number the bill claimed I called several times(925) 401-9202. There was a loud screeching sound then automated system came on and it was a internet chat line of some sort. I called to ATT disputing this amount. After my account being reviewed ATT found it to be no line switching and deemed the calls to be in fact correct. (of course you wouldnt find any line switching once a solid block on my accountwas placed). After speaking with one of the agents at ATT she in fact stated there may have been incorrect dial up applied to my account and the culprit Allegiance Telecom may have hacked into my phone from the computer, although I had asked for a block several times on my account which was irrelevent to the associate at the time. Currently their stating I have to pay this balance although I never dailed the above mentioned number as well as having the block.
I receive at least 8 calls everday from this company.No one ever says anything,They hang up and call right back. When I tried calling the number a automated operator states the number is disconnected.
This number keeps calling my cell phone and when I answer there is nobody on it. When I attempt to call back I am prompted to stay on the line for an operator which never comes on. This is becoming quiet annoying and harassing. My phone number is listed on the government DO NOT CALL LIST so why am I receiving these calls. A look up of the number on fonefinder.net shows the number comes back to listed to Allegiance telecom of New Jersey out of Union City, NJ
When I answered the phone an operator came on and said my credit card has been temporarily suspended and in order to reactivate it I would have to give some information. Then the proceeded to ask me for my credit card number. When I hit 0 for the operator nothing happened. I have no clue who they are. I looked them up on the reverse look up in the white pages and they are in New York, they have servel companies. When I tried to call them back from my cell phone it said the person's voice mail was full and I could not leave a message. Did not give me a name of the company nor the name of the person. I think this is odd considereing I have not used my credit card on line and never do and I still have all of my credit cards. I think this company is a scam and they need to be stopped.
