    Customer service is a joke! I called them to find out why my account had been closed. The young man who answered, and judging from the background noise, the department sure was having fun. He said he would have to call me back, and he never did. I opened an account there to build my credit, and they did help with that. I always paid 100% on time and more than the minimum due. I also had paid off the account totally. I have since deleted the payment information and the link to Fingerhut. The actions of the customer service were horrible, and that is my reason for doing so.

    I have been a customer for 3 years, so I can build up my credit. My issue is I've made monthly payments on time but instead of my balance going down it is going up. My balance still looks the same when I first purchased something with them May 2024. I feel they are ripping people off.

      They really do suck. Overcharges when you pay your bills. It's been the worst experience ever. Don't do business with them please.

      I been with Fingerhut for years. The product I've gotten have been horrible. I fell behind. Only owed 630. Now it 1230 00 my hospital closed in Martins Ferry Ohio 2023. The bill collector are rude. Being without work trying to stay above water they couldn't help. Every veteran I knew I told them not to buy Fingerhut cause of their high interest rate. I went from a 720 to a 545 credit score. At 58 yrs old it hard to repair. Not happy with them. There shoes I bought for the hospital. I walked a lot. They lasted 6 months. They should at least accept half the payment to show they care.

      This company is ridiculous, not only does the app lose your password, the website would as well. I use a password manager and have for years. So my passwords don't "change" and I def remember them or at least the manager does. But every time I would try and log in, it would insist the password is wrong, impossible, so I would have to reset. Then when the account gets locked out, you have to call and speak to some person with such a heavy non-american accent, that I can't understand the words coming out of their mouths. Refuse to ID themselves but the first thing they want is your social security number. Even to make a payment.

      I gave them an account number and attempted to make a payment, refused to take payment without giving my social, that is crazy. Nobody has that kind of security on a payment process. He'll anyone can go into my bank and just deposit on a loan payment as long as they know the account number, but not Fingerhut, they gotta make sure it's you making the payment, besides the overpriced crap they sell, this company is the absolute worst. Too bad, back in the 80s this was actually a decent company. How the mighty have fallen.

      I have been with them about 25 years and because I didn't purchase anything in 11 months they closed my account and all you ever hear from them is about your payment and that I pay 1-2 week early every month, the company has went down the toilet. I'll never try and rejoin this crappy store.

      I had been a customer of Fingerhut but have been having issues logging in for the last few months. When I call to pay or ask for the email address associated with my account- I have waited on hold for over 20 minutes, been disconnected and still have NO access to my account. This is negatively impacting my credit score (which is why I tried them out to HELP me improve my score). I'm suppose to mail in my payments now or what is going on? When I call I am speaking to someone who is not in the US. Beyond frustrated. Have money but no way to get it to them and it is ticking me off. I truly wish there was someone that could get involved. SCAM.

      Just to let you guys know, I was summoned for a court appearance to attend tomorrow for not paying my account. I have bank statements that prove I paid my account. This is a totally different account that I had no idea was ever opened. They are trying to collect on a balance I already paid. I now have two FingerHut accounts on my credit. They want to reach an agreement for me to pay an amount to pay off the account I already paid. They are crazy! Trying to intimidate me with this large stack of papers from an attorney's office. They are funny, I'm not the one they think they can push around. I've done time, so this whole lawyer thing is a joke.

      I can't wait for court tomorrow. I have so much to say to them, with proof. I don't come from a place where we can spend money and forget about it, so I'm going hard on them tomorrow. I've done my research, and I'm ready. The way I see it, they are stealing from me now. I wrote them a letter stating how they could be so heartless, taking money from people who work hard and want to build their credit. No reply. Sorry, I could go on and on.

      Anything I have bought from them has given out even before it was paid off. Their products are horrible. They don't last. You're still paying before it and it's either broken or doesn't work or is falling apart and like others I've seen on here I quit using it so much because I the interest was getting higher than the payments I owed and so all the sudden they send me a email telling me they're closing my account which is fine with me because they're a joke and they screw a lot of people out of a lot of money. Bad bad decision.

      I have been a customer for years. I kept my account payments on time. This time would take 3 to o they owe me a refund. I called Monday about my refund. I was told it would be returned to the card the payment came from. It would take 3 to 5 days. I called today to be sure it was going back to my debit card. Today I was told it would be a check and it would take 10 to 14 days. No supervisor to speak with. One customer service person hung up on me.
