After a little research, we found that 21st was the largest manufactured home lender and it worked for us. The application process was very smooth. It was almost effortless. The portal worked very well too. They just sent and told us what they needed. We scanned the stuff in and sent it back. The next day or so, we'd see a little check mark that said, “Complete,” and we moved on to the next step. We made the offer on the place we looked at on Christmas Eve and in the middle of February, we were moved in. I don't know anything they could do better unless they want to lower my interest rate.

I would highly recommend 21st. Years ago, I did construction work. My dad and I owned a small construction business. He used to preach to me all the time, “10 good jobs does not make up for one bad job.” He said if I do a bad job, 100 people will tell someone else, but if I do a good job, I'm lucky if they tell one person. 21st was amazing, so I'll be that one person that'll tell someone else. It was a pleasant experience. My wife thought it was great as well.

I was really impressed. Once I went in and set everything up, getting all my required documentation into the system was very easy to understand. The gentleman who assisted us with the account was very quick to respond too. If I emailed him, I had an email back within a few hours. The loan was pushed through rather quick. We got everything done within less than three weeks. People can get it done a lot quicker when they have all of their documents prepared and ready to go.

My son used to be in the mortgage business for a number of years, and he helped me select 21st. He knows more than I do and I took his advice. I got a modular home and we are very pleased to find that they lent money for this type of investment. Quite often, my son was on the phone with me. He asked the appropriate questions and he helped walk it through me. Between my son and their agent, things went very smooth. It was also within our time frame, so there was never a deadline that they didn't meet.

My neighbors recommended 21st Mortgage based on their experience. They have them financing their properties as well. They had good things to say about 21st. We were purchasing at the time. They said that 21st took care of them and had a really smooth and painless process. One thing I really appreciated was all of the templates and 21st tried to make it as painless as possible. It's a little bit unique doing mobile home financing. Sometimes it can present some more challenges as far as dealing with the community and sometimes not owning the land. 21st really has a pretty good layout of how to go about it properly. I'd recommend 21st, especially if it's any type of mobile home financing. They really have that figured out and got a really good process there.

21st Mortgage was easy to work with. The underwriting process took about two to three days after we sent all the files in. The entire timeframe was pretty quick. Customer service was very flexible and quick to respond. They let me know right away when there was a missing document or if we sent the wrong document. For that time and how much I had put down, the terms and rates were the best I could get.

21st Mortgage was super helpful. If I had questions, my rep responded within a day. The application and underwriting were really fast. There was no land involved. It was just a trailer. It took a week to get everything together. Then, 21st sent us the documents. We had to get them notarized and sent them back. We closed two weeks later. 21st was very good. I'd definitely use them again.
