I called Infinite Auto Protection after purchasing my used Honda Odyssey. The salesperson was great. He reduced the price of the plan that he first quoted, extended my warranty 20000 miles, let me make 5 large payment interest free and he cut my deductible in half. I had called 3 other aftermarket warranty companies they all want significant more money for less coverage and gave no discount for paying all at once. Their warranty coverage on the top level plan covers everything.
After four months of owning my new but used van, the alternator went. Fortunately I had coverage from Infinite Auto. They were able to inspect the vehicle within one business day, they were prompt with response and working with the dealership. Even the representative at the dealership commended their professionalism and very comprehensive plan. What would have been a true headache turned out to be very simple. The whole process was seamless start to finish. I cannot say enough good things and I will recommend this company to everyone I know buying a used car.

What a horrible company! They try to get you to cancel the contract so they don't have to pay. They use the phrase "Pre-Existing" to get try and get out of their paying for a repair. I tried to look up the term in the contract and couldn't find it in the definitions. So even though your vehicle meets the effect date and miles per the contracts declarations page, all they have to say is that the issue was pre-existing.
Then when you challenge them an extremely rude supervisor (think his name is Keith) calls, claims he's the "end of the end" in the supervisor chain, talks over you, claims you are trying to cheat the company, won't listen to your claim, tells you he is going to cancel the contract, and then rudely hangs up on you. I even asked several times about arbitration and he dodged the question and then hung up. Don't buy their contract! They are not a trustworthy company. Read the other reviews. Yes they have 5 Star reviews which most likely are fake. The sales guy never mentioned effective date and miles. They should have their license pulled!
This customer purchased a plan and did not fulfill the 1,000 mile wait period for the contract to be come effective. This customer acknowledged this to Infinite and still demanded to have his over $2,000 repair covered. The customer has received a full refund.
This company is a scam. They just want to take your money and not cover anything. They will find any reason not to cover your claim even when it is not valid excuse. #1 I purchased my Prime policy and everyone was really nice until I received my declarations sheet that said it was the Modern warranty (a downgrade). I called three times before I was able to get them to change it back to the Prime.
#2 A few months later my vehicle started making a ticking sound. Took it to a local dealership where the service writer submitted a claim for repairs. I received a call asking for service records, current registration and title along with the bill of sale. I provided them with everything that they needed and they denied my claim due to improper maintenance. They said that because at the last oil change the guy suggested that the spark plugs be changed (based on vehicle mileage and nothing else) and because I declined to have the work done I had not done proper maintenance. I declined because they had already been recently changed well within the Manufacture specifications with documentation to prove it and they will not accept that. They have hung up on me multiple times. Refused to take my calls.
My next step is arbitration I guess, meanwhile my truck is at the dealership now for a month torn apart with no end in sight. Thought I was protecting myself by purchasing the warranty but now I am out my money for now. I guess infinite stands for the amount of excuses they use to deny your claim. I can't wait to hear what a judge is going to tell them when all the notes and documentation are presented. Talking with my attorney now.
Absolutely horrible experience with this company. Would not recommend! Scheming slimy sales representatives that try to offer you a same day deal for a reduced price if paid in full. CLAIM to cover everything except normal wear and tear. VERY MANIPULATIVE. As for my first extended warranty buying experience they denied all three of my claims which were suppose to be covered by deferring to some small innuendo in the contract with very vague verbiage. What they say on the phone is much different than the contract. They claim that they cover a lot more than what they actually do.
As well as take DAYS to get back to you on a claim... break down on the weekend you are out of luck. They will say, "we will call you back on the week day," which they won't get back to you unless you continue calling day after day. In my case my car acted up on a Saturday and I could not get a hold of a representative until Wednesday evening. Once they do get back to you it takes even longer to process the claim and get an estimate on coverage. I am currently trying to get out of my contract 6 days and I still cannot get a hold of a representative that will give me the figure I will be refunded... and so the wait continues. Extremely untrustworthy, unprofessional, and misleading. STAY AWAY! Honestly considering legal action for all of the fraudulent and misleading information their sales representative demonstrated. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY COVERAGE THROUGH THEM.

We do not, nor does any other VSC company pay claims during this period. Regardless, we covered 35% of the repairs, even though your coverage was not active.
You requested us to pay more than 35% so we requested your vehicles maintenance history. The maintenance records showed this repair was recommended to you by the repair facility, before you purchased a contract with us.
This is considered preexisting. The next 2 claims were non-covered components, as stated in the agreement. We definitely tried to work with you, even paid for repairs when your coverage was not active.
I've had similar experiences as some of the other reviews. Sales process was easy and the Charles wasn't pushy at all. The claims process was easy, just called and filed the claim. Inspector came out and verified what the mechanic said. Then they paid the claim in full.

After purchasing a extended service contract from Infinite my vehicle broke down and once at the repair shop the alternator was diagnosed as faulty. It took them 4 days to approve replacement and then was shipped a USED alternator. I complained only to be told "It meet the term of the contract". The A/C line had to be removed to replace the alternator and this cost was denied by them. After 10 days the USED alternator sent was also defective! They (Ray) denied the A/C service cost AGAIN, and was told the 2nd USED alternator replacement will be shipped in another 3 days! It will take 15 days to replace a bad alternator and cost me several hundred dollars in additional labor, not covered!! They will not confirm a rental vehicle for me even though the contract states if the repair is more than 3 days it will be covered. Poor service - Long approval wait times - USED parts sent for replacement.
I purchased a warranty on a recent vehicle purchased and had thought my vehicle was covered until I took it to the service dept to have it checked out. One item was identified on my 2004 Corvette - the passenger window wouldn't go down. The dealership contacted the Warranty company, who then decided to have me sign the Warranty contract (2 weeks after my payment was made). End result, there was a 30 day waiting period so they advised it wouldn't be covered. They then called a day later to tell me they were cancelling the contract because my car was a bad risk.
Everything else on the car was perfect - no issues at all. The nasty man I talked to (Keith) called me a liar and insinuated that I was trying to beat them out of something. I advised that I would leave a bad review to prevent anyone else from going through this and he actually threatened to call the company I work for to complain about me - what??? I have never been treated like this in my entire life and would not recommend this company to anyone else. Even if they may be a little less than other companies, it is not worth it to go through this type of treatment.
Having a claim denied is never something we want to do. The claim was denied due to pre-existing conditions. This is something no Vehicle Service Contract company can cover. Additionally, the claim was filed during the 30 day waiting period, which is an industry standard period. We felt the best possible outcome was to refund your money and part ways. Anyways they gave me a 5 year deal with 60 thousand miles, this deal was cheaper than what other companies were offering me at 3 years 36 thousand miles, couldn't pass it up, more coverage for lesser price! I bought the Infinite policy for a new Infiniti QX-50 with a rebuilt title last July. I told them of the title situation yet the policy was approved. I file a claim and they deny due to title though I told them. They also claimed they only discovered the title issue later due to me giving them the wrong VIN since there is a 30 day waiting period for them to research the car. Everything on the contract is right. Not only are they not covering my issue but they are not returning my money. I am flabbergasted.
Unfortunately, a vehicle with a rebuilt title is not something we can cover. To our knowledge it is not something any vehicle service contract company will cover. When you provided the incorrect VIN the account was flagged for research. Once the information was discovered we refunded your money. We apologize we couldn't assist you and wish you the best

The coverage really does what they say it’s supposed to do and the people standing behind it are very approachable and easygoing. I couldn’t have picked a better insurance provider. This insurance has been tremendously helpful. The company is fully transparent. Nothing is closed off from your knowledge, which is imperative when dealing with insurance-related expenses.
