So, Honda was involved in a class action lawsuit involving faulty parts that caused random engine misfires and excessive oil buildup in the engine. In order to save face, they issued an extended warranty and claimed no negligence on their part. This warranty includes spark plugs. That's it. Which would be fine, if that solved the problem. But six months after getting my spark plugs replaced, I had to put new oil valves into my vehicle ($2000) and when my husband tried to drive it home, the engine started misfiring on all 6 cylinders. The vehicle went back to the dealership and now needs a new engine installment. So, this company is going to cover $600 worth of work that estimates out to over $8000. Great job Honda. I do not recommend Honda to anybody.

Worst company and will never buy any car from them. Poor customer service when I called assistance who are more like robots. This company won’t survive long with this kind of service in business for long. Goodluck to fake company like Honda.

I called Honda America since the check engine light turned on and says Emission System Problem. It is P219A which is to replace the fuel injectors. I know already what’s the problem since I bought myself an OBD2 Sensor but Honda wants me to have the diagnostic test with their dealership before they will decide on covering the repair since my VIN is not listed in the covered extended warranty.

I spoke with Destiny, my case manager and she said that they will still process it and it will take about a week for them to decide. Further, she said that it does not necessarily follow that they will cover 100%. So since I remember I am paying an extended warranty through another company, I tried it with them and they covered the fixes right away as advised by the dealership. So I called back Honda America asking if it’s possible to cover at least the diagnostics which is about $220. However she insists they will not cover it since it is what the dealership priced us. I tried to explain to her that my Hyundai which the engine broke lately, they covered all the fixes including the Towing and Diagnostics, how come Honda cannot do that? Still she insisted they won’t cover it so I told her I’m not buying another Honda anymore and hung up.

Within 16000kms I had the battery and brakes replaced under warranty. Battery died at 10,000kms and the brake rotors rusted so bad they need replacement at 16000kms. What's confusing is I was told that the brakes rusting was my fault. Odd at best. Good luck.

I bought a CRV 2025 and I love the car but I have no peace. I’m stressed that I cannot go out without worrying that my car will be stolen. I am longer interest in this car, because the radar is so easy to be remove. I wasn’t expecting to experience this unease feeling having to deal with something out of my control.

Been waiting over a year now to get a replacement part for my rear window. Have been given multiple ETAs but they all pass without news and then I get told there is no current ETA. Yes, my car is older, 2006, but it's still ridiculous that a multinational corporation like Honda can't get their hands on parts. I will never buy an older Honda again and may never buy any more Hondas.

I purchased a 2025 black Honda HRV EXL AWD in October 2024. This is Honda's best all around vehicles I have owned. I have had an Accord, Civic, Prelude, and still own my S2000. The New body style of the HRV is perfection, the interior leather and design is beautiful, comfortable and extremely roomy with a huge cargo space! I have been getting between 27-31 miles in town/highway. It also was a champion on the ice & snow using snow mode and awd. Owning this crossover for almost 7 months I still love the HRV. I would highly recommend an HRV EXL AWD fir anyone that needs more room, but still wants a sportier, more sleek look! I give the HRV 2025 5 stars & 2 thumbs UP!! Bravo Honda! 👏 👏🎊

She got my car and they did the work that needed to be done and she got my car out. This is not the first time that we have dealt with Miss **, every time we go, there is a beautiful experience.

2019 Honda RTL- 83,000 miles. Had to replace transmission ($9,000+) on a 6YO vehicle. Maintained all required service on vehicle-including transmission flushes. Last 7 vehicles going back 20 yrs have been Honda. Have learned from this experience that Honda no longer makes quality products AND they get to make additional on repairs. Absolutely no incentive on Honda's part to make a quality product.
