I had a very positive experience with Shawn ** at Chevrolet. Even though I didn’t make a purchase, his attitude and professionalism were outstanding. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and friendly, and he took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. His customer service was amazing and left a great impression of the company. Highly recommended.

I want to share one of the most humbling and incredible experiences I’ve ever had with any brand — and it happened with General Motors and the Chevrolet team at Virginia International Raceway. My sons and I attend high-performance driving events often, and I brought my 2024 Corvette C8 Z51 for a weekend of track time. On day two, my car suddenly wouldn’t start — we tried everything, battery resets, diagnostics, even letting it “rest,” but no luck. Frustration was setting in fast.

Then, by pure chance, we noticed a Chevy truck and two stunning C8 ZR1s across the track, there for a separate event. I walked over and met Aaron Link, GM’s Lead Development Engineer for Performance Vehicles, and his team. From that moment, everything changed. Even though they were not there for customer support — these were GM’s engineers, not service reps — Aaron and his team immediately offered to help. They drove over to my garage, opened laptops, connected with Detroit, and spent nearly two and a half hours troubleshooting my Corvette with patience, kindness, and genuine care.

They didn’t have to do any of it. They didn’t gain anything from helping me. But they did it anyway — with heart, passion, and professionalism that left me and my sons speechless. As a business owner myself, I recognize what real leadership and company culture look like. What Aaron and his team did that day wasn’t just customer service — it was a living example of commitment, humility, and excellence.

I left that track not disappointed about missing my session, but proud — proud to be part of the GM and Corvette family. I’m already planning to purchase a C8 ZR1 the moment allocations become available, and this experience sealed that decision forever. Thank you to Aaron Link and the entire GM Performance Vehicle Development Team for being true ambassadors of what makes GM special. You’ve created a lifelong fan.

I was having trouble connecting Android Auto to my late model Chevys and Marchelle from Customer Service did an excellent job of walking me thru the steps to determine the issue was actually in my internal phone connection (connector pins were damaged in phone). She spent an extra amount of time to make sure to isolate the problem area with me. Once corrected, the system now works great in both of our Chevys. The Android Auto system adds to the fun of driving,.

I own a 2006 Ford f-150 that has NEVER required a major repair, but my 2021 Chevy Trax with 50,000 miles only already requires a major repair to replace the completely pointless turbo that the vehicle has. My 2008 Chevy Aveo needed a transmission replacement at 100,000 miles and the 2010 Chevy Cobalt I had needed a replacement transmission at around 50,000 miles… I 100 percent regret every single Chevrolet purchase I ever made and I’ll NEVER buy another one.

At the dealership everyone was friendly, but I was not allowed to test drive my truck because it was blocked by other trucks. I purchased it in Baxley and the salesman (Ryan) said they would deliver it to me in Valdosta on a Rollback and he would be with them to get everything activated in the truck. He also stated he would call me the next business day to set everything up. None of these things happened. Someone from the Woody Folsom dealership drove it to Valdosta, so I didn’t even get to drive it until it had over 100 miles on it. It clearly was never detailed and missing at least a quarter tank of gas. I noticed some damages, such as scratches and cuts throughout the interior and dash. The delivery driver walked around the truck with me as I took pictures of the damages. They contacted the salesman to let him know I was not happy with what I found.

He assured me all the damages I found would be fixed and said it would probably be next week when they could take care of it or hire a local company to fix everything. It has been weeks now. I sent text messages, emails, and even used the “Contact Us” on the Woody Folsom homepage. I didn’t get a response from the dealership’s homepage. Ryan confirmed on the texts and emails that they will take care of everything and he would call me back to set it up. At this point I feel like a bill collector trying to get in touch with the salesman to honor the repair agreement. My overall experience with the dealership would be everyone is friendly when you are buying a vehicle from them, but the service after the sell is terrible.

We purchased a 2024 Chevrolet 3500 dually with a diesel engine two years ago. Diesel engines should last more than 174,000 miles. We've had (Chevrolet) gas engines last longer than that. But here we sit with a blown engine and we've been left hung out to dry by Chevrolet. They want $30,000 to replace a diesel engine that should have lasted longer than two years. The vehicle has been well maintained. Chevrolet does not stand by their products and our long standing history of purchasing their products has come to an end.

First new car experience was a disaster thanks to Chevy. Not even 9000 miles on it and it and the engine light kept coming on. They didn't want to fix it until the cruise control broke. (I need for a disability). After a week of repairs the dealership went from very friendly to argumentative. I shouldn't be dealing with this for a brand new car. Don't buy Chevy.

I just finished my engine recall. I was informed that an oil change was completed and I would need to use a different viscosity motor oil going forward. While I am thankful that I don’t need a new engine, I was informed that my oil changes would be $50-$60 more each time because of the different oil. I am not sure why this cost is being pushed onto the consumer to protect Chevrolet from potentially paying for a future engine failure. I am sure that there will be some kind of a class action lawsuit that I will join to get compensation.

I purchased a Chevrolet Silverado in June 2025. My experience with the vehicle, the dealership, and the brand in general has been disappointing. I have owned trucks from Ford, Ram, and now Chevrolet, and on my list of best and worst, Chevrolet is the absolute worst. The only good thing I can say about the truck is that its Turbomax engine performs well. Aside from that, there is a lot left to be desired. Its automatic transmission does not shift smoothly, and it frequently seems to get stuck in lower gears, even without any load and without heavy acceleration. The truck has an overall cheap feel, and its interior is poorly designed. It is impractical to store anything behind the seat, because access to that area is extremely limited. Even getting access to the jack stored behind the seat is a struggle because the seats cannot be moved out of the way enough to provide easy access.

When I bought the vehicle, I traded in a relatively new passenger car that had a remaining balance on it with the finance company. The dealer took so long to send the payoff to the lender that I received late notices and threats of negative credit score reporting because of it. I had to call the dealership three times before I could get anyone to return my call, and the third time I had to request to speak to the general manager rather than the finance manager. Even with the full knowledge that my payoff had not been submitted timely, the dealership did not offer to send it to the lender via overnight mail. They put it in regular mail, causing additional, unnecessary delay.

Chevrolet continues to spam me with marketing email messages even though I have requested more than once that I be unsubscribed from their mailing lists. In order to use their website to unsubscribe from all marketing, I was required to submit my name, address, mobile phone number, and email address. The only information that should be required to unsubscribe from their marketing lists should be my email address and nothing else. Based on this experience with the Chevrolet brand, the dealership, and General Motors marketing, I will never buy another GM product. I have owned a lot of vehicles in my lifetime (more than 40), and this has been the worst experience of them all. I won't make the mistake of buying any other GM vehicle.
