National Freeze Dry/Nevada Freeze Dry

4375 E. Sahara #4, Las Vegas, NV

Linda of Lovingston VA (9/11/03):
My daughter ordered flowers for her wedding. I gave her my credit card. She ordered one package on her own and I ordered one. The flowers that were advertised were pretty and she was planning her wedding. She ordered the flowers on 5-18-2002. We got confirmation on 5-20-2002 from Nina that the flowers and the wedding bubbles would arrived 4 weeks prior to the wedding. We tried contacting through the phone and through e-mail to no avail. My daughter was stuck with no flowers for her wedding.

My daughter did not have any flowers for her wedding and I was out 162.95 ... as was she.

Stephanie of Lovingston VA (9/11/03):
I ordered my wedding flowers over a year in advance and never received them. I have called the number and e-mailed and done everything in my power to get in touch with these people. I spent $162.95 on these flowers and still have my PalPal receipt. PalPal is unable to do anything because it was not within the first 30 days. I live on a budget and I never got my product, no contact no nothing from these people. I paind on 5-18-2002 and they sent me an e-mail confirming that they would send me my flowers and bubbles 4 weeks prior to my wedding. I sent them the date and everything. I got the reply from Nina on 5-20-2002.

I took these people at their word and I got stuck with the short end of the stick!

Cora of Oklahoma City OK (8/28/03):
I paid to have my wedding bouquet freeze-dried and framed in a 11x14 gold-toned domed frame with glass and mailed to my residence. Nina Remono picked up my flowers and check at 9:30am on April 27, 2002 at the Stratosphere, Las Vegas. I was to receive my flowers back in 8 weeks total. It has now been 1 year and 5 months. Richard and Nina Remono have not returned any of my phone calls or e-mails.

Sarah of Wauchula FL (6/9/03):
I a bought a wedding package and a sample from National Freeze Dry/Nevada Freeze Dry on May 29, 2002 for my upcoming wedding which took place on Aug. 31, 2002. I kept in contact with the compandy during this time period with little communication coming back from the company. I asked when I would get my sample and they said via e-mail, that they were working on wedding packages because they are a bigger priority, they assured me I would get my package in plenty of time for the wedding. I kept e-mailing them they final few weeks before the wedding. About three weeks before the wedding I got a return e-mail that said I would receive my package the week of the wedding.

This worred me so I e-mailed them back to ask for a gurranted shipping date. The next e-mail I got from the company was on the morning of Aug. 26, 4 days prior to the biggest day of my life. They said they would not be able to fill my order, and they said they would be sending me a refund. To this day I have not received a refund. I tried contacting the company the week of the wedding only to be able to leave messages and e-mail that were never returned. I filed a complaint with Las Vegas BBB and the Nevada Department of Consumer Affairs. Consumer affairs came back a few months a ago and told me the company went out of business and they could not do anything.

Since I did not have flowers for my wedding day I had to pay a florist $500 to prepare flowers for my wedding with only 4 days notice. The stress this put on me the week before my wedding was terrible. The whole reason I wanted freeze dried flower is because I have severe allergies to real flowers. So I had to have the florist make silk arangements. I did not like the flowers and they did not match the cake, decorations, or dresses, like I wanted.

Cheri of Hanford CA writes (10/3/02):
I ordered flowers for my wedding from National Freeze Dry on Ebay in April 2002. I paid a total of $202 for the flowers via Paypal and they arrived late and damaged. I spoke with Rick and first he argued that they couldn't be damaged. I shipped them back at my expense and he agreed they were damaged and to refund my money. He never sent the refund.

I filed a complaint via Ebay's mediation service but the company never responded to them. I tried to call them at the 800 number listed on their website but it has been disconnected.

I ordered flowers for my wedding and they were supposed to arrive in plenty of time. Instead, they arrived 2 days before and were completely smashed and torn. I had two days to buy flowers for my entire wedding party and did not sleep for two days prior to my wedding because I was up making the bouquets and such. Emotionally I was a complete wreck when this should have been the happiest time of my life. I was out a total of apprx $230; $202 for the flowers and apprx $25 for shipping the damaged flowers back.
