I booked my stay in New York, U.S.A. from 24th June 2010 for 4 nights and paid Euro-1812 through my credit card, then cancelled my stay 7 days before. Till date, I have not received the refund for 1812 Euro and am paying interest to my bank. Please, somebody, do help me. Many thanks.

Owes my company $8,000.00 - One of my agents used Wonderland Hotels and paid for reservations in London. The day the clients were to arrive they notified us they cancelled the booking due to technical errors. This was fall of 2010. I have sent weekly emails to them, they acknowledged the problem and told me they are making refunds but the process is slow due to the number of refunds. I've repaid the clients and want my money. I think I have been patient enough!

I booked a hotel in London for 5 nights on 16.4.10. I canceled in June as my husband had a stroke. After repeated excuses, I was told they were in liquidation. I have sent repeated requests for updates and am still waiting for my refund 19 months later. They don't answer the emails, but I put a read request on them so they are reading them. What is happening?

I booked a room with Wonderland Hotels and they canceled my booking 2 days before we left to go to Singapore. Around $450AUD out of pocket. They told me they would refund in 10 days, then by the end of August 10 (we booked in July 10) and now they said in 2011. My question is, how come they can still have their website operating but can't give out a refund?

I made an online booking with Wonderland Hotels on May 24, 2010. I canceled the reservation the following day, May 25 and was waiting for my refund of AUD$1,429.97. They confirmed my cancellation and refund immediately, and said they would refund within 7 days. When I contacted them about a month later, they said that they had some difficulties with their system but would refund soon.
I contact them every couple of months and then in September they said that they were in liquidation but would refund me in 2011. I contacted them on January 18 2011 to ask when they would refund me and they said that I should contact Visa and get my money from them. They are continuing to trade. I informed Visa which have told me that I have complained outside of the period to them. However, had Wonderland Hotels been upfront from the beginning, then I would have made it within the time frame. They have taken my money and are continuing to take money from others.

I, like many others, booked and fully paid, via credit card, for a hotel, almost 5 months in advance, with Wonderland Hotels. I was undertaking a course in London in early July, and was called 24 hours prior to my reservation date, asking that I urgently read my email. To my complete surprise the 6 night reservation was cancelled, due to a 'technical error'. I contacted the hotel directly, who stated that the reservation was cancelled by a reputable third party, because they hadn't been paid.
I phoned the third party operator in Spain, and they intimated that this was not the first time that Wonderland had not paid for reservations. The hotel kindly found a room for me, and gave me a reasonable rate, but I had to re-pay, and I am now out almost $1200 SGD. I contacted Wonderland, and was promised a refund within 10 business days. I contacted them again in due course, and was told that, due to the vast number of refunds, it would take longer. Finally on my third attempt, I too, was told, they had gone into liquidation, and refunds would be forthcoming in 2011.
Tonight I decided to do a search, to find out many others have also had similar experiences. Imagine my surprise when I have just completed a hotel search (4 Oct), and found that there is still a website advertising hotel rooms for reservation, 3 months after my cancellation with no reference to a company in receivership.
For over 10 years I have booked travel via the internet, and have used many reputable companies. I appreciate that even reputable companies can go into liquidation, but who takes responsibility to ensure that this company no longer trades under this name, or any other?

We must stop this site's fraudulent act and the behavior of Bishop Lei hotel needs to be reported

This is an internet hotel booking co. I've made a reservation for a hotel in Orlando on June 28th. They charged the full amount of US$ 950 to my credit card. On July 6th, they sent an e-mail cancelling my reservation and saying that will make a full refund in up to 10 business days. I have not received any refund until now (Sep.4th). They don't respond to my e-mails and their phones are disconnected. Besides having to make last minute hotel reservations; I just want my money back (US$ 950).

I booked with Wonderland Hotels in June 2010 at the Park Avenue Hotel in Belfast, I received all the documentation, i.e. invoice and booking confirmation. I kept an eye on this booking as it had been booked so far in advance. Last week, the 24/25 August, I found that the site where my information was stored had the security license revoked for non-payment. I contacted Wonderland Hotels and was informed that they were in liquidation; they informed me that they would refund the money but it would be in 2011. Like all the rest of the clients who have been deceived, I had to book at the last minute which will cost me 40% more as to book online with another reputable company. This particular hotel has no rooms available, they kept my booking but I had to give them my information for security.
This company is still working online, I did a trial to book a room and it is still operating, I have asked them several times to take my information off their insecure website. To date my booking is still active, even though the hotel has advised me my booking was cancelled as they did not receive payment from the wholesaler who had not received payment from Wonderland Hotels. This website should be shut down, they are still doing business even though they are in receivership.

I make a reservation just like hundreds of people in this internet page and to everybody they cancel the reservations. We have to do something to stop this. I have talked with my bank and they put lawyers to resolve the problem.

I am not sure if the wonderlandhotels.com is a fraud case or just another company that has gone bankrupt. These companies operate mysteriously. In either case, I paid for a service that I didn't receive and no refund at all. For those who are trying to find any clues where their money have gone I paste their last response at my email.
"Thank you very much for your email earlier today, unfortunately I have been instructed to tell you that the company Wonderland Hotels is now in liquidation, all refunds will be honored, but will not be made until 2011. We would greatly appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter". That was the last time I prepaid a hotel stay, and of course the last time I use a British based online agency. I wish good luck to all other victims. I will follow them as far as I can.
I have lost 115 euros (luckily it was an one night stay only), but -most important- my honeymoon suffered a major setback.

I made a reservation of 1 room at wonderlandhotels.com site in the internet and just 1 week before my booking date, I got an email from this company informing that due to a technical problem my booking had been cancelled and there was no way to recuperate it. They told me that they would refund me the money since I had already paid for it in 10 business days.
After that time, the refund was not made. They told me then that it would be done before August 15th and today Monday, 16th of August, they have sent me an email telling me that the company Wonderlandhotels is in liquidation.
I have lost my money, the 464 euros that I have prepaid with my visa card for 1 room in Eurodisney for me and my family. It is simply unbelievable but true. Please do not book any rooms with this company, it is a Mafia organization! I have lost my visa prepayment of 464 euros and at the same time, I had to make a last minute booking for another alternative hotel to save my family's holidays of 733 euros which means that finally my holidays has cost me 1197 euros.

I made a hotel booking with wonderland hotels.com in February. I should have traveled on the 3rd of July. Three days before my holiday, I received an email from this company to inform me that my booking had been wiped out and couldn't be put back and would be offered a full refund. The hotel had never had a booking and it cost me a considerable amount more to make a last minute booking direct to the hotel. I am being fobbed off by wonderland hotels.com. Refund dates have been and gone and I am now not able to contact them. I am out of pocket to 774. It is a considerable amount of money and I would advise everyone not to book with this company under any circumstances.
