I paid a fee for the company to sell my Timeshare. I was told numerous times that they would be selling it very shortly. I paid $917; I haven't seen any progress, or had any communication from the company in over three years since I paid the fee.

I pay to rent out my time share and didn't. They have someone to rent it. They keep asking for more money. I have paid more money to them so they can rent it out. I ask for my money back and didn't. They are a lair. I don't like lairs.

Two years ago, I stayed at La Costa Beach Club in Pompano Beach and Peter sold me three weeks, the extra week for my mom. The weeks are fixed 42, 43, 44 and the fees/taxes are near $430 per week. It is a nice place, but my mom cancelled late on me. So late September 2009, I paid Timesharesonly.com $500 for ad numbers ** and **. I ultimately tried to rent a week for $400, no success. So October 2009, I called Timesharebyowner.com to sell my weeks. Agent Ryan ** promised that each week was wholesale price of at least $5000 per week. He said presentations could sell a week for $12,000. He mailed my ads to me #**, **, ** all state rental price per week of $6500 NEG.
La Costa rents studios for under $1000, so I don't understand how they could get away with this mark up. I always told Ryan I just wanted fair value. All those people at Timesharebyowner only tell lies. Also, Timeshares only told me each week could be sold for $5000 when I bought all 3 weeks for $3000. So if I could find a buyer, it would take $1500 to break even because Ryan told me his company would pay Maria, special agent, $3000 if I paid Maria $2200 for her sales service. So I am out $500 by Timesharesonly, $1500 by Ryan ** of TBO (Timesharebyowner.com) and I will probably be out $2200 by Maria. So I am in tears, headache, frustration that I have lost about $4200 for nothing. All these people are fraudulent. I am humiliated to have spent over $4000 in about six months time to not sell.

We gave timeshares only $600.00 to sell our timeshare. We have lowered the price multiple times and spoken to customer service representatives. They have not received any calls about our property. I would definitely not recomment their services. We continue to pay all the fees but do not reap the benefits.

I have a timeshare in Orlando. I decided upon selling it. I looked into these timeshare resale companies. I sent a request over the internet and this company responded. I payed them for their services and have yet not received any offers. When the salesperson wanted my business, he said it would be no problem selling this unit. It would most likely take only 30 days.
7 months later they have my money and have done nothing to sell my timeshare. I recently called them to inquire about my unit. They said my price was too high. I replied that's the price you set. I told them to sell it at any price. Still, I have heard nothing. My point of this complaint is to inform all timeshare owners of this company and to beware of all the others. Please Beware!

In late September I was contacted by Timeshares by owner ,they offered to list my timeshare. I agreed to have them help sell my timeshare . On 9-28-07 $898.00 was withdrawn from my checking account. On or about 10-15-07 I was contacted by Mike Starr asking why I had not returned a signed contract he sent in the welcome package .I unformed him I had not received it.
on 10-20-07 I received the welcome package as I read thru it I found discrepancies between what I was told and what was written. They stated that they did not appraise or set the value. This was not true, Mike set the price I was very intrested because according to him it had almost doubled in value. It states they make no representation asto the time it would take for my timeshare to sell, this was also not true Mr. Starr told me that the average time for a sale was 90 days but mine would move faster because they have so few Wyndam properties in there inventory. That is also not true because they have several listed on there website.
After I called Wyndam to see what the same package I purchased would cost today I was told approximately $14200.00 , Mike told me he would list it for $19200.00. Why would anyone pay me $5000.00 more than they could purchase it directly from Wyndam? I began to call to cancel no one would return my calls I tried to fax the cancellation but only got a busy signal. Finally I received an e-mail from Kevin White stating that the 10 day cancellation period had expired ,they were using the postmark of the welcome package I nver received as the start of my 10 day window to cancel.

WE BOUGHT A TIMESHARE FROM STARWOOD IN JUNE WHILE ON VACATION.ON THE 8/2/06 WE WERE CONTACTED BY A FRANK KLIMEC WHO SAID THAT WE HAD 3 WEEKS USE OF A 2 BEDROOMED VILLA TO USE BY NOVEMBER AND WOULD BE USING IT WHEN WE SAIS WE DID'NT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HE THEN CONVINCED US THAT THESE WERE BONUS WEEKS AND THAT IF WE DID'NT USE THEM WE COULD RENT THEM OUT AND GET APPROX $2600 PER WEEK.
AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS OVER SEVERAL HOURS WE AGREED TO RENT THEM OUT. THEY SAID THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY $899 AS A 1 OFF FOR ADVERTISING AND I GAVE HIM MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS.
ON THE 8/8/06 WE RECEIVED OUR WELCOME PACK.
I THEN REALISED THAT THIS COMPANY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH STARWOOD VACATIONS AFTER A FRANTIC PHONECALL I DISCOVERED THAT THESE THREE WEEKS DID NOT EXIST.I HAVE SENT A NOTICE OF CANCELLATION BY EMAIL AND BY LETTER.IHAVE TRIED CONTACTING THEM BY PHONE BUT NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS.
AT THE MOMENT WE ARE WORRIED SICK THAT WE WILL LOSE OUR MONEY AND ALSO FEEL CHEATED BY THIS PERSON.

I signed up with this company to sell my timeshare. Their sales representative, Michelle Rucker, had promised me that they would sell the timeshare in less than 3 months. It's been a year now and they haven't done anything they promised to do to sell it and now that I asked for a refund of funds they are telling me no.
I have recently sold the timeshare on my own and no longer require their services. When I signed up with them they told me if I sold it on my own they would refund my money and now when I asked for a refund they said no, that they will not refund my money.
I paid them $299 for them to advertise and sell my timeshare. They did not do this so I paid another company $145 (Bidshares.com) and they did sell it for me. I am now out the $299 Timeshares By Owner charged me.
