In 2001 my wife and I signed up for a Eco Trip, after seeing a program on the Food Channel. We contacted the company, in British Columbia, and gave them a Credit Card number for the $600 trip. The trip was to take place the last part of September, 2001.

When the Sept. 11 disaster occurred, and the USA borders were secured, my wife and I called the Company and rescheduled the trip for the following June of 2002. In Janruary of 2002 I was told by my heart doctor that I should not take the trip as a result of the need for additional heart surgery. I contacted Eco Tours by phone and E-Mail to cansel and request a refund, many times, with no response whatsoever. The credit card co. said that the 60 day time period had passed and they could do nothing to recoup the charge.
