Read OneTravel.com's response to consumers' complaints. susanne of moseley, VA June 24, 2009 I booked a flight last night from Richmond, Virgina to (VPS) florida to see my daughter. The dates were supose to be from 7/1-7/8 when the ticket came through I must have made a mistake and booked 7/8-7/8. I tired thier calling their 24 hour phone number and basically was on hold for over 2 hours. In addition to this I emailed my concerns as well, No response! The next morning I tried calling and was on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I called from the office and was on hold for 40 minutes. while on hold I got a response, am not sure, but I had just wrote on thier blog about my experiance and then I recieved their email! They said someone would be calling me. Some one sure did, could barely speak english! They changed my ticket for an additonal 551.00 telling me I would be refunded the 237 for the origional ticket. He also said that I would recieve and email with new flight info varifying my new travel plan. The only email I got was a cancellation of the first booked flight with US Air and I have not heard back. I have no idea if I have a ticket to get to florida and they can not be contacted. Obvioulsy a shaddy opperation. They have already debited my account for the first 237. When they hit me agin for 550 with no ticket I will be in the hole for over 700 with no plane ticket.... HELP I am questioning if they are even who they said they are! I am going to try to empty my account and close it before they take me to cleaners! SJ of New York, NY June 10, 2009 They post these teaser fares that are very low but by the time you put in you Credit Card info, name and the rest they are 'no longer available'. Happed twice yesterday and I ended up purchasing tickets at 250 Dollars more than what I had originally started with. The other even more disturbing fact is that you do not get 'confirmed seating'. They do not advertise this. If you are traveling even with one more person there are no guarantees that you will sit together or get a decent seat. The airline at 'check in' at the airport will assign you what they have. Customer service has an average 20 minutes wait and have told me three different stories in less than 12 hours... They had me call Delta, Air France and...They end up not being as cheap as they 'advertise'. Unlike other sites you don't get your seats and customer service is a BIG WASTE of time. Good Luck if you decide dealing with them... I won't. iona of centerville, UT June 1, 2009 I booked a flight through: onetravel.com. I saw the best price for my ticket, it displayed the price and I selected and it was not guarented until purchase. I purchased the ticket using my m/card. After I gave my M/card, it said that price was no longer avaible. The new price was higher. Ok, i though I was taken. The next morning, I received an email explaing the flights I bought was not avaible so, they suggested some other flights. I lost it. My trip is not, not a vacation trip. It is "a life and death situation" I was so stressed and had a panic attack. I am still so mad that people are allowed to gamble with people's emotions like that because of greed. I booked a Westjet flight through OneTravel in May 2008 and I ended up canceling the flight. I agreed to pay the cancel fee and OneTravel informed me I would have a credit balance of over 300 to use with other bookings directly with Westjet.

We will wait and see if they come off. If they do not I am going to look into taking legal action as there seems to be no shortage of proof that this website is committing fraud on a regular basis.
