We checked in at this motel on December 21, 2010. A week before we called the motel for reservations, my wife asked if the swimming pool will be heated when we get there. It was an evening call so it was the night person who stated "yes, it will be heated." When we checked in, I asked if the pool is heated and she again stated that it will be heated by morning. The next day, we found out that the spa was not heated and the chlorine was so high a friend staying there got a chlorine burn.
The rate published on the sign of the motel was $199 a week or $239 for a kitchen. We did not have a kitchen but we still got charged $450 for nine days. This is not an acceptable practice in any business to gauge people just because they are from another country. When we checked out on December 30, 2010, the pool was still not heated and neither was the spa.
