I was on vacation in Miami FL, and thought that it would be nice to go swimming with the dolphins, so I booked it online. On the day that we were supposed to go, it was raining, thundering and I also believe, some lightning. I have video to prove what kind of weather it was that day. I understand that the contract states "rain or shine" but does it mean thunder and lightning as well?
When I called them to cancel and to get a refund they told me that the trainer will decide whether or not to go on with the swimming. So I asked to speak with a manager but the manager was not around. It was not until 2 hours later that a manager finally called me back. When I told the manager what was happening and about the weather he was not helpful at all. I want a refund of $851.72. The event date was supposed to be last March 29,2010 with reservation # **. I don't understand why it's up to a trainer to decide whether or not it is safe to go into the water when the weather is frightening. I did not and will not put my life and the life of my family in danger when there are lightning and thunder.
