Evenflo Car Seat - Breaks on Impact |
|||||
|
My husband was traveling east on North Countyline Roa with my 1 year old son when he rear-ended another vehicle. His approximate speed was 20 - 25 mph. Upon impact my son's car seat broke. The left arm that you pull down to lock into place snapped in two. EMTs arrived and at that time it only seemed that my son had bitten his lip. Keep in mind that when the EMT's were examining my son I was holding him the entire time. I picked up my son from the scene of the accident and we returned home - When we got home I proceeded to put my son down to walk and as soon as he stepped on his foot he screamed with pain; he was unable to put pressure on his right foot. I called his doctor and she advised me to take him to the emergency room. He was x-rayed there and it was determined that his muscles in his foot were bruised. He was unable to walk for three days, cried in constant pain,- still unable to wear shoes still as of this date ten days after the accident. Report Your Experience
